Great location for a business function. Lovely lobby, lots of light. Furniture and carpeting in good shape. Food was tasty and seemed innovative: gourmet hamburger bar! Staff was friendly. Room was well equipped. No issues with temp or lighting or sound.

Beautiful landscaping and ground floor room facing the pool area was nice. Loved the gym, hot tub and variety of activities. Four stars because waited over 40 minutes for coffee and fixings. Front desk didn't apologize and he just said it probably hadn't been delivered. Seemed disinterested. Found room attendant six doors down from us. She was very apologetic, said she hadn't been notified and totally took care of us. Never got a call back from the front desk to see if our request had been met. Also was first time ever saying there would be a charge when asking about available upgrades.

Decent resort hotel, decor is old needs improvement, the grounds and surrounding areas are amazing. Waterfall and Creek running through look nice to walk along. Too bad I couldn't use the swimming pool it was cold and raining. Lobby area is very up to date and very clean modern look. Overall I had a good sleep on the beds.

I give it one star, only because you can't give a rating of "O". This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed and to say it is part of the Hilton Family....what a joke!!!! I don 't have enough time to list all the things wrong with this place, but a quick list:
-smelly rooms
-trash all over the grounds
-terrible room service
-out dated rooms
-fee for early check out
-too far away from anything in the city
-air regulation issues in room and conference center
-entitled atmosphere

Worn down...rooms are very old and not comfortable at all. Pool area is a disappointment at best. Staff is rude and and unconcerned with pleasing it's guests. Would not recommend to anyone especially for the prices they charge. Definitely not worth it. Many better options for a same or similar price in the Tucson, AZ area.

This truly is a classic, timeless resort. It is located on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and has amazing views of mountains and desert. The downside of the space is that it's quite a distance between rooms and the main building with the restaurants and front desk, concierge. The walkways are all sloped and the grounds are not well lit at night.

I enjoyed a massage at the spa which was absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately, I was not able to use the pool, it was just too cold and raining. The standard one King bed room is very spacious and comfortable with a nice, more traditional decor. The bathroom is a little small but there are plenty of towels and nice toiletries.

The staff I had contact with was very attentive and service oriented. My only disappointment was with the bar. I ordered an Irish Coffee and received a poorly tasting mug of coffee with a shot of Bailey's. Not my understanding of the classic drink, but maybe it's a regional thing.

All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this resort.

Pre stay the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly and even offered me an up-grade to my room without requesting it. However, once I was in my room I was cut off. By that I mean there was a huge weather front that moved in (not holding them responsible for that...obviously), but I attempted to call two of the three restaurants at the resort, the consieres desk and the front desk for over 2.5 hours and could not reach anyone. My family was hungry so I ventured out in the middle of a monsoon (something we had never experienced before) in an area I was unfamiliar with to get fast food. That night the wind was so strong the sliding patio door was bowing I thought it was going to shatter. Again I tried to call down to the front desk as my kids were so scared they couldn't sleep and still no answer at 11:30pm. The next day we had a late start but spent a lovely day at the pool and returned to the room for showers and a nice meal. Once again I tried for over an hour and was unsuccessful at reaching ANYONE! I finally went down to the restaurant where I found it completely empty. I then went to the front desk to suggest there was a problem with the phone in my room. He offered to have engineering come up but I said I was checking out in the morning but they might check that after I leave for the next guest. The next morning I was awaken by a humming sound only to find not 1 but 4 wasp looking insects about 3 inches in length buzzing around the glass door. I tried to kill one and it angered it rather than killed it. I woke up my family we packed and left. I called the front desk to tell them I had left and why but the girl simply said "would you like me to charge the card on file". Upon my return home in California I called Hilton to report the issue and I received an email from the manager of the resort that simply said, "Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience. We look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel in the not to distant future!" I am returning to Tucson AZ this coming week but if you think I will stay here again you would be WRONG!!!

Of course the location and hotel grounds are amazing. Rooms are typical Hilton quality. Nothing extra for a basic room at this resort. Disappointed in the breakfast for Diamond members. They offer cereal, fruit, and pastries. $7 to upgrade to the actual breakfast. I probably would only stay here agai if I had an actual reason to be up this far north in Tucson. I like my perks and these guys nickel and dime you in comparison to other Hilton resorts I have stayed at.

Great place to unwind, the staff was great. The rooms were clean and modern. My kids the slide was our favorite. Check in time was 4pm and check out time was 11am which is kind of obnoxious. We had too stay 2 days to really enjoy the amenities other wise 5 stars.

For 200+/points or so, its GREAT! This room looked right into the central oasis, mountain is huge, food is on-point, service with style, good front desk, calm space during covid. Took baby, they were welcoming.

I was bite by bed bugs during my stay there in Sep. 2019. Checked in on a Sunday, started to feel red bumps on my arms on Tuesday. By Wednesday, my upper body was covered by more than 100 bumps including some on my face. I have thought it was allergy, until I saw the bugs crawling my my bed. Big and small ones, I saw more than 15 of them. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is an incredible resort, the amenities are top notch, the pools are amazing along with all the poolside feature and music and the hospitality is bar none. I stayed in a Casita over night and immediately wished I'd booked for more nights. Will definitely return.

Our reservation was handled incorrectly three times, and we ended up having to pay an extra $300 for the room. The WiFi went out, phones did not function, and staff was rude. The dining was way over priced and of mediocre quality. The pool is nice and many staff are attentive. The problem is that everything is difficult and the people you talk to can t correct errors. Nothing is their fault because online or phone reservations are made by Hilton not the property. So many problems ruined our holiday to a great extent. I thought Hilton was a reputable brand.

I was certainly expecting more for this price. It looks nice on the outside and it's a nice area we could surroundings and mountains right there, but the interior was not up to a high standard. It was okay for camping out for a few nights, but it was not up to what I expected. Not much else to say.

The Hilton El Conquistador resort is absolutely beautiful. I attended a conference in March of 2020 and the weather was perfect. My room was in the older section and wasn't remarkable, but the rest of the facility, including the excellent dining options more than made up for the boring hotel room. I will be back for sure.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are okay. The bathrooms are not very modern, they are very plain (nothing special).

The staff is much more interested in their business conference quests than family vacationers. Although my husband travel and stays in Hiltons all over the world, and is diamond level - so I expected to get a free breakfast or something when they screwed up our reservation.

They have a nice toddler pool and a pretty neat slide.

The only opportunity I had to interact with the hotel staff was at the restaurant for lunch. The host was clearly having a rough day and was pouting, stomping around, and shaking her head for about 20 minutes. Strange. Then the server, who was very funny, crossed the line and joked that he served my friend a jack and coke, when my friend ordered a coke. This would have been fine, but I understand that some people are actively trying NOT to think or drink alcohol. Bad form. Otherwise, the grounds were absolutely beautiful.

Very nice place, beautiful. Staff could have been more informative i.e; amenities and such. Even if it meant directing us to the concierge!? There were a lot of younger/kids as staff, did not care for that.
The walking to get places around there was a bit much; one of our elevators was out of service at the time. Last but not least, pArKiNg was a *bleep*! Absolutly rediculous!

Arizona courtesy at it's best. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is great, wonderful pool and very close to shopping. The entire place is very clean. What more would you need, except lower prices, but hey, you get what you pay for.

Beautiful property and location.

Beautiful property and location.
Rooms are slightly above average relative to other hotels.
Quiet and close to the mountains.
Be aware that this is a RESORT and extra, hidden fees apply.

The hotel and grounds are lovely. We had a big convention deal here. We had a company wide meal in the private party venue which was very nicely done in and Old West theme. We all expected the meal to be great, Mexican food in Arizona you know.
Well, it was so awful, that even though I was hungry, I put down my fork after five bites and handed my full plate back to the waitress.
There is something wrong here with the food. We also ate at the restaurant and I had one meal out of two which was good. If you must eat here, buy something that they cannot mess up like the salad bar. The breakfast buffet was elaborate but my cohorts claimed that there was sugar in the scrambled eggs. Rooms were slightly run down. We were not charged the resort fee so there must be some discrepancy to that. Everything was pricey and the bathrooms on main level never had any soap in them.

We recently stayed at the hotel during a family emergency. While the room was decent and I was going to give the resort a 3, maybe 4 star review, the customer service, or should I say lack of customer service, I've had for the last 10 days is making me give it a 1. I have charges on my credit card from the hotel that were not on my bill. I've been attempting to contact both the hotel and Hilton. Every time I call the hotel they hang up on me. The call is not dropped, they literally hang up on the phone after hearing that I'm calling about a billing issue. While I completely understand that things are crazy due to COVID-19, I do not believe it is ever appropriate to be hanging up when someone is attempting to (very politely) fix a billing issue. I will NEVER stay at another Hilton Hotel.

I also contacted the Hilton Corporate offices - was told I would get a reply in 7-10 business days.

I've stayed here twice, both times for a tennis event.
The resort is clean and well kept. The staff is friendly, and genuinely helpful.
I checked out easily, there were no billing errors, or any problems at all.
The location itself is absolutely stunning, nestled right under the desert mountain.

The pool, bars, and central clubhouse are simply gorgeous. In the evening we were greeted with an incredible of the rising full moon while in the pool, and the resort is located in the perfect spot for sunsets and moonrises.

I came here for a 2 day professional development class and it was great! I live in Tucson so am fairly familiar with this Hilton but even so, the area is undeniably beautiful and the hotel itself is lovely. The staff took good care of us for breakfast, lunch, check in and out. I'd enjoy staying here just for pleasure sometime.
