Super friendly staff, clean modern rooms each with a great view and a few different restaurants and bars to keep you full and happy. Family friendly with pools for all ages and hiking trails around the entire resort with great views of the mountains. This is the place to stay if you're going to be in Tucson.

Rooms were very clean and looked great. There is a beautiful pool in a gaint courtyard with multiple fire pits surrounding. There is also a gym that is open late and a restaurant with great breakfast. All staff members are very nice. Great overnight stay here, wish I could have stayed longer.

I wanted to love this place because the views are gorgeous. Unfortunately the service was below average at best. My room reservation was incorrect and they tried to have me room with a colleague with whom I would never share a room. We ordered room service and they told me they were out of chips and guacamole a very basic order to be out of. Overall subpar at best. And I really wanted to love this place!

Terrible front desk staff. We had about 10 rooms reserved with our wedding party. I reserved a king room with a Mountain View, but got a room with two queen beds because they gave my room away. I m a gold status member and was also told I won t get any of the gold benefits or points for staying. I will never stay here again.

We enjoyed having the occasion at the restaurant with the mezcal pairing dinner.
Exceptionally trained staff with perfect time of service.
Thank you for being one of Tucson's original fine dining establishments.

Beautiful! Lovely grounds. Heated pool. Our king suite was spacious. Lots of storage, a cozy living room, a nice bathroom and a patio. Yes, the furnishings were a little old, but they were charming and the room was kept very clean. Staff at every level were gracious, helpful and seemed genuinely glad to be of service. Food and drink were top notch as they should be at that price point. We really enjoyed our five day stay.

I didn't see towels at the pool. Other than that everything was lovely, Barry frendly staff. I would comeback again. And I will also highly recommend it to my friends. Thank you. Happy birthday to my Wife.

The resort itself was beautiful. However, a few of the staff members had some attitude. Our family has stayed in Hilton Resorts all over North America and the Caribbean and one thing we enjoy most is the kind, accommodating staff. There were a couple very kind, generous workers. I can't quite remember his name but he was from California and worked there for a long time. He was very very kind and apologized for the delays in breakfast.
We've been diamond members for over 10+ years and we had asked for an upgrade on our room weeks in advance. However, we didn't receive the update until our last night. They did give us a cheese and cracker board for the inconvenience but we really wanted a room with a view and a larger room for us four adults. Beautiful resort itself but the staff could use a bit of training on how to accommodate the guests better.

Breakfast is always delicious and that's mostly in part to Gregory, the Chef! He makes our eggs and does such a phenomenal job. Name any type of egg you want and he'll make it in precision and style. Breakfast would not be the same without him.

Nice property but Diamond status means nothing. The mandatory resort fee gives you everything intended as a Diamond perk. Room upgrade is rarely available, according to front desk, unless you want to visit during monsoon season. Like many other Hilton properties, you re better off buying a Costco vacation than relying on loyalty status.

Majestic scenery and beautiful grounds. The family and I were lucky enough to spend 3 days here enjoying all Tucson had to offer.

All amenities at the hotel were splendid and the on site restaurant was great. If you get the time to relax by the pool I would strongly suggest it because the pool side help is AMAZING! Never felt more taken care of at a facility like this.

The only reason it's not 5 is the rooms didn't meet the same quality as the rest of the resort

Absolutely horrible service. The female blonde short hair bartender is completely rude and disrespectful you would expect more from a resort like this. She reports to manager false information and they treat you like you did something wrong. My friend accidentally knocked over a menu when she sat down and this horrible bartender refused to serve us a drink stating we were too drunk when we haven t had a single drink all evening and just looking to unwind with a glass of wine. Not how a resort should be represented. As I was staying at this resort for an event I m absolutely disgusted by the way this bartender treated a paying guest of this resort. I absolutely would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

For the price of our room we expected more, I think during covid rates should be lowered since half the resort is closed down. Also we asked for our tv to be fixed because it was not working properly, the guy came and then left saying he would be back and never returned and never called. When checking in they said the restaurant was open but did not specify it was the bar restaurant so my family got all dressed up for a sit down dinner and it was closed. Best steak I have had in a box though. Also by ice machines it is very dirty in the ice room. We love to travel to resorts with our family but will not be recommending or going back to this one. Oh yes and they charge $25 a day resort fee still and half resort is closed. Also there is no breakfast included and place called grab n go is pricey.

The resorts in the Tucson area are mostly pretty special. We have visited most and stayed at several. However we sadly found this to be just another Hilton business / convention property, not discerably different from dozens I've stayed at near airports under various hotel brand names. If that's why you're there then you'll probably like it as everything, even the floorplan is quite familiar.

So much more could have been with this beautiful setting abutting the Catalina Mountains to make in a real resort.

And yes, our hundred dollar lunch for two came right out of the microwave and the service, while showy, was disinterested and slow. Until the check was delivered of course.

The location is gorgeous. The room was dated and smelt musty. The walk to casita is a liability as you can twist an ankle from the slope of the walk way. Sundance Cafe was less then mediocur and over priced. Pool, not enough seating for a holiday weekend, loud music, inappropriate rap music, large rafts in pool and people throwing balls in a crowded pool area. Definitely miss managed. Given that this property is a franchise and keeping the Hilton name the standards if any are very low. I would think having kept the Hilton name they would make them keep high standards as they are representing the Hilton. They said they are having a remodel in 2016, as of right now I would not be back, but might give them the benifit of the doubt and take a peak when finished. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

This place is AMAZING! I've stayed multiple times over the past few months, and it gets better every time. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Fast service, great food, and great rooms. I've stayed a lot of places, and I keep going back to El Conquistador Tucson because the customer service is hands down the best in Tucson.

We came to relax after the death of my mother inlaw. We stayed in a casita which we paid extra to have access to the private pool. That is 16 and up. My 16 yr old son was harrassed about his age. We also tried to reach the front desk and were repeatedly put on hold. I waited over half an hour and when I got threw I was givin rude service and hung up on. When I complained to management I was given a un genuine apology for my inconvenience. We were not compensated whatsoever for are experience. Very disappointing

Majestic views tucked in the mountains north of Tucson in Oro Valley. A backdrop of mountains worthy of epic wedding photos. Great food, service, and comfortable rooms. If you want lifestyles of the rich and famous, look no further than the El Conquistador.

This hotel has an exceptional view of Pusch Ridge - relaxing views and exceptional ambiance. Great place to have a drink on the patio and "exhale." I expect a 5 star hotel whose rooms start at $200 and go much higher to change a couple things. FIRST, why do the bathroom doors open into the toilets? It is 2018, and you accept that your bathroom doors touch the toilets when they open. Literally crazy. And for a 5 star hotel - THE BUFFET IS HORRIBLE. The pazole was not fresh, the over-cooked scrambled eggs looked like they sat out for 2 hours, the fruit was soft and horrible, and the food choices were underwhelming. Prior to my visit to El Conquistador, I spent 10 days at the Conrad Hilton in Manila. The buffet was fresh and spectacular, the staff made you feel special and knew your name from the first moment you arrived, and the bathrooms provided you space to shower and go to the bathroom without your knees touching the door. Do me a favor (El Conquistador Management), take a trip to Manila and get experience from a hotel that cares. You should be a 5 star hotel, you behave like a 2 star, but I gave you 3 stars. Do the right thing.

Service is great, rooms are nice but they are going through a remodel to make them even nicer. They are also dog friendly (until they are done with the remodel we hear) we did the buffet and it was very well done.

Location was wonderful. Other guests were loud and rude after 1:30am we were woken up a few times in the night and had to call the desk to ask them to speak to the people fighting in the halls. The staff was kind and other than that our staffwas nice.
