Great WiFi coverage, nice people. Walls are a little thin, but overall a fun experience.

Great location, great view, close to some fabulous hiking. Very peaceful and relaxing!
Hotel was clean. Rooms are a bit outdated compared to modern hotels.
Played the 9 hole course. Very nice course. Extremely difficult. Not a course for beginners
Very relaxing but needs updating. The casitas haven't been remodeled since the 1990s and it looks that way. The units have an odor of years of use and cleaning. Not the upscale resort it once was.
My husband booked an overnight stay for my birthday. We stayed in a beautiful king suite. The views are gorgeous! Had dinner at Epazote. Nice and cozy restaurant and our meals were delicious. Can't wait to go back and stay longer.
We got upgraded and were guests of the day. Great surprise. Beautiful place.
Beautiful property with gorgeous mountain views! Hallways and carpet feel a bit dated, but overall clean and nice. Low quality toilet paper and Kleenex. Housekeeping service only comes once every 4-5 days (due to new covid policies) so make sure to request extra coffee pods and towels. The swimming pool is beautiful and well maintained. Starbucks in lobby and extra parking around side of hotel.
Last minute family weekday get away. Staff took care of our every need. Very quiet and dark at night in our adjoining Casitas. Lovely!
We have stayed at El conquistador several times and have always had a great experience. The casitas are very nice and provide a more home like experience than the standard rooms. The pool area is fantastic with great fire pits in the evening. Provides a very Southwest experience. The views of pusch ridge are stunning. Highly recommended.
Website said their pool was open...wasn't open..only on weekends...you would think it would be less crowded in a Tuesday.
Beautiful property with stellar service. I just wish it was closer to downtown but i suppose that's why it's so quiet and pristine.
Nice resort, but restaurant options are very limited. There isn't too many unique restaurants nearby either.
I have stayed couple Hilton hotels in different places and countries. This trip is very disappointing me.
First, the state just reopened, I stayed another Hilton first night when I arrived Tuscan. The experience was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. That was my first time thinking about staying more Hilton hotel.
I wanted to stay a resort with a Mountain View, relax the jacuzzi since other resorts in same town all reopen the amenities. However the staff told me only one pool of 6 pool/spa open due to state order, the hotel needs to limit the guest #.
I was very disappointed, when I went to the pool, there are so crowded. You can t even get in the pool and hard to walk around. ** I wonder does it helping with the social distancing**
Then the second disappointed part is I booked the Mountain View room with balcony over the pool view. So I assume my room supposed to see the mountain when I sip the coffee in the morning in my balcony. When I got my room, 1. There is only partial view of mountain. 2. They have a backyard which share with other rooms. THERE IS NO PRIVACY, SAFETY CONCERN OF SOCIAL DISTANCING AND anyone can walk thru back of your room....
3. The next 2/3 rooms are all occupied. I really doubt they follow 50% capacity rule.
4. The room is so far away from the pool/parking. I can t really enjoy the amenities.
I told the receptionist, he was very impatient and told me, you can somehow see the mountain. So that s what we can match what you booked.
I can t believe that was what I paid for. I rather going back to the regular Hilton hotel than this so-call luxury resort.
We were not please with the service or selections during our stay.
We felt there wasn't anything special for the amount of money we spent.
If you're coming with a family, maybe it's better for that type of mini vacation away.
Very beautiful resort. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a outstanding place to stay in Tucson. My only gripe is that it is a bit confusing and easy to get turned around trying to find your room if you leave it.
I attended a private event, I could only go through the lobby, attend the event in the amber room and then go to the bank. Everything well cleaned and organized and the employees are very friendly.
The spa the tennis courts the weather and the rendezvous with my love
The Good: The view of the mountains, the fire pits, and the pool are beautiful!
The Bad: All staff have been great, from the servers to the housekeeping staff. They seem to be understaffed though. It took us almost an hour to get dinner at Sundance, which is pretty unacceptable.
The Ugly: There's been a kid yelling next door incessantly since 3 AM. I wish I could review the parents...
The resort was beautiful. I worked the show for SAACA and the ballroom was stunning.
Snooty staff at the front. Nice enough resort in a beautiful setting.
Beautiful setting at the base of the Catalina mountains with friendly service and comfortable rooms.
Never again will I stay here. Stayed for 4th of July and I had charges on my room bill that were not mine. When I called the hotel to inquire about the charges they stated to call my bank. I asked for management and they hung up on me. Worst serve ever. I would not recommend to anyone!!!!
Although we had a problem with having room ready at check in they up graded us and gave my family excellent service
Rooms are clean. Everyone is really nice here. However who ever they have making the wedding arrangements for the buttes behind the Hilton is horrible.
Very nice place, but service down (I have been coming every year for 10 years!)
Awesome resort, really comfortable, huge rooms in a beautiful location.
Overpriced, dirty rooms and inadequate parking (both check-in and for guest rooms). Not anywhere near the 4 stars they claim.
A large and luxurious resort with an incredible view. Our event was catered at $80 a plate.
Loved our stay! Even though it was only for one night, they let us check in 2 hours earlier, room was clean, kids enjoyed the pool and the slide, we had a room with pool view. Definitely will stay there again, hopefully a couple of nights :)
Loved the views I stayed at the casitas and the space was fantastic but that carpet needs to be changed already. Breakfast is fabulous but pricey u less you are gold or diamond with Hilton honors they you get a very nice continental breakfast for free served by the friendliest staff ever!
Room was clean, great view of the pool. The mountains were gorgeous. The pool and slide were fun for the kids.
Beautiful resort. Staff provided outstanding service.
This resort is everything one could expect from a top-notch Hilton resort and more. I spent 4 nights here in February. Situated in the Oro Valley at the base of beautiful Sonoran Desert mountains, the location is breathtaking. The resort is obviously well-run. Every staff member I encountered- housekeeping staff, pool attendants, front desk, restaurant and management was incredibly friendly, helpful and seemingly eager to assist. The room was impeccably cleaned and maintained, the grounds are tastefully decorated with a wide assortment of desert flora. On a couple of evenings a Native American flute player filled the air with hauntingly beautiful melodies. It was positively enchanting.
These touches, combined with excellent food and service in the resort restaurants, the wonderful hiking trails and horse stable within walking distance combined to make this resort a new favorite of mine (oh, they also offer golf and tennis).
The only reason I'm not giving this resort 5 stars is the wifi. It was disappointingly slow. I often found myself using my mobile carrier's data instead of the hotel wifi.
A very nice resort with a lot to do close by. Took a while to get into our room. While we were waiting we had a couple drinks at the bar and Joey the bar tender was great, friendly and helpful.
Great place for a social event, food was very good with the exception of the desert which seemed like it was left out too long.
Great venue for an event. Exceptional service and care. Great food as well.
This place is amazing. Honestly, it's gorgeous here. I love it.
So far okay. Rooms clean, food good, easy to get to.
Most beautiful place to stay. See the other side of the mountain. Pools, bike rentals, massage, movies, ftness
I love the El Conquistador. Their pina coladas are the best.
No major issues, but a fairly generic hotel experience.
Place is breathtaking, just had a problem checking in, so please bring copies of your reservations
Beautiful hotel great summer rates and the staff is very friendly
We attended the Gingrrbread House free community event sponsored by the Hilton El Conquistador on Thursday evening. We couldn't be more impressed with their service, friendliness, generosity, helpfulness and overall attitude of welcome. It was a large event with many, many people, the weather was wet, children and parents were sometimes crabby, yet staff was never flustered, unkind, or short-tempered. It was a lovely evening with our daughter and grandsons kicking off our Christmas merrymaking. Thank you for ALL the things to do: hot cocoa, hot apple cider, delicious plain cookies to decorate with patient staff helpers, a looping of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas movie in a semi-darkened room, a Life-sized Handmade Gingerbread House to walk through and wonder at, plenty of open areas, plenty of drink stations, the opportunity to donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by purchasing (and then making) inexpensive decorations (while we waited to decorate our cookies!), and seeing good old SANTA CLAUS! From the valet parking we used and the bellhop who covered me with an umbrella in a wheelchair up the ramp to the entrance, to the smiles and laughter in a planned photo-op area, we had a grand time! Thank you, Hilton's El Conquistador!
