Only thing is bring food if your hungry or have medical needs that require you to eat something fast no vending machines or food access after midnight.

Just curious how many times a manager walk past this and did nothing I think the hotel is a little dated very nice staff very friendly people I'm still here so I'm going leave it at 5 I just noticed my pictures did not upload there's a cabinet door hanging off in the restaurant

I ate at Drago's. Had the alligator tail and grits.... which was very good. The atmosphere is loud and crowded.

Had drinks and chargrilled oysters at Dragon's in the Hilton lobby. They are the best in New Orleans and the place is huge with plenty of room for everyone. We try to make it there every time we are in NOLA.

The rooms need to be updated. Very little hot water for a shower. David in the Publix bar was arrogant and lacked respect for women. Dragos, dont waste your money. The spirits bar and service was amazing.

The booking of rooms was messed up and the hotel refused to take ownership

Stayed here during a convention. It was a great location. It's within walking distance of the convention center, Canal St, and Bourbon St. Plenty of shopping and eating selections within walking distance as well. Dragos Restaurant is inside the hotel if you don't want to go far for food.

The accommodations are very nice, the location us centralized and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, other entertainment venues in the French Quarter.

Went for a Mardi Gras function and like always it was a great experience

I was expecting this Hilton to be nicer than it was considering the price of the rooms there and I was somewhat disappointed. I am a Hilton Gold member, but since I booked my room through a third-party, I was not able to receive any of my Hilton Gold perks. The wait to check-in was about 20 minutes, which is ridiculous considering how many people were behind the counters.

I requested a room with one king-sized bed, and was given a room with two queens. The hostess at the Starbucks in the building was rude and seemed like she was not very thrilled that we wanted to order a beverage, which took her away from reading her book.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you have limited options.

Convenient location, well appointed rooms at this full service hotel. Often quite busy with convention guests with a lovely atmosphere.

We stayed one night at the DoubleTree - Hilton Riverside,our room had a beautiful Riverview especially with the full moon brightly shinning. The day staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable. The night staff were not helpful at all. I went down to the front desk to inquire about getting a toothbrush and was told someone would bring it to my room that I could not get it at the front desk. After 30 min still no toothbrush, so I called the front desk and stated someone would bring it. At this time I also requested maintenance b/c the shower water was not draining and was told maintenance would be right there. (It is now 10pm). After 30 min I called the front desk twice and no one answered after allowing multiple rings. So NO toothbrush and shower was left unattended. When we check out the next morning I informed the desk clerk if the need to fix the shower drainage problem before renting the room again. This is definitely NOT the service I remember receiving at previous stays at other Hilton properties. There was a card in the room that said if you have a problem we will make it right. But that did not happen nor was it offered. Sad....

This is a great hotel for new orleans. Right on the river and attached to the river walk mall, so only a 5 minute walk to get cafe du monde and beignets. Staff are super friendly and the bar staff in the lobby bar are fantastic. Food in the lobby bar was good and not too expensive. Rooms are a little small and the bathrooms a little dated. My shower did not have full pressure. Rooms are quiet did not hear other guests, but if you are in the river side you will hear the boats and the trains.

5-star rating due to front desk, Lynn, who provided exceptional and professional service from check in to check out. Otherwise I'd rank 3 stars. The hotel smelled mildewy is some areas, freezing cold in others (I was there for a meeting) and the guest rooms were decent except for low water pressure and lukewarm was as hot as temp got.

I enjoyed my stay there.The people were so wonderful and caring.I can't wait to visit again.

I wanna SHOUT OUT and thank everyone at the Hilton New Orleans hotel. Everyone here was extremely nice and very helpful. Due to everything crazy going on They never lost focus. So I wanna thank y'all on behalf of my family. And apologize for the craziness. Love y'all and God Bless.

I visited their restaurant, Drago's, on the recommendation of a friend, to try their famous roasted oysters. Absolutely delicious! They are cooked on a gas char broiler, and coated with a garlic butter infused with herbs and parmesean cheese. One taste and I was totally hooked! Their oyster Po Boy is also very good.

Room and sheets are clean, on par to other Hiltons I've been to, around 15 min walk to French quarters, right next to a good sized mall.

Rooms not as good as ice as they could be. A lot of noise comes through the door from the hallway. Beds are very comfortable. Shower has rust stains on the tub.

Very close to many good eateries and in the center of all the fun.

The Hilton Riverside offers beautiful views of the Mississippi River & Downtown New Orleans. With easy access to the Riverwalk, Canal Street & great New Orleans eateries; It was a very comfortable hotel for my staycay.
While the hotel overall was worthy of the Hilton brand; I personally feel that the room itself lackluster for it's cost.

Gorgeous views depending on your room, amazing lobby/restaurants/bars and clean rooms. Staff is super kind. Only problem is that it'svimpossible to find your way around the place. I spent at least half my time there trying to find out where I was going or how to get out of the place. That's hyperbolic, obviously, but you get my point. If you're cool with being lost a lot, this place is cool.

Neither pool was open and the elevator was broken but nobody from the hotel told anyone. Staff seemed not very friendly.

Not bad except you could hear EVERYTHING people did in other rooms next to you

Rooms are nice. If you have a reservation through Harrahs make sure to get the Hilton confirmation number.

Some staff were helpful, but not enough bathrooms. Was here for a conference and women were using men's bathrooms because lack of women's bathroom. Then there were some staff part of the kitchen that were very rude and unprofessional. At staff yelled at another staff member saying to quit sending guest there way because it was to much work. Then I would here other staff members complaining that there is to much people and it was to much work for them. Plus those staff complaining looked at guests for confrence unpleasantly. I do give kuddos to the staff that yelled at, he was very nice and apologized for the scene that was made.

Our room keys never worked more than twice but it was still a great experience. I would recommend everyone who comes to New Orleans to stay here.

This Hilton is in a great location if you're visiting downtown New Orleans. The rooms are very nice, and they are really attentive. The parking, like most of New Orleans, is way overpriced though.

I was here for work and it was a pleasant experience. Convenient, as it also hosted the professional conference I was attending. With walking distance too many of the major tourist destinations and public transportation.

I would like to commend Brandon (desk) for resolving our problem when discovering on arrival that our agent had forget to confirm our room on a 98% sold outt night.This combined with extra help from the concierge team on the Executive Floor turned our 3 day stay into a wonderful New Orleans mini vacation.The room was nice but it's the staff that turn a good hotel into a great experience..

Ordered almost every kind of oyster and I have to say they were all AMAZING and fresh tasting.

Dragos was delicious and the chargrilled oysters were amazing!

Nice rooms, comfy bed and amazing location. Close to Lafayette square and Jackson square as well as Bourbon street. Great place to stay!

Great staff, checked everyone in quickly with smiles on their faces despite how chaotic it was for Mardi Gras weekend. Bedrooms were clean. No complaints at all.

Hotel and service were nice, room was ok, but it bothered me that room they put me in was smoked in before and you could tell easily. I assume they tried to clean it, but it didn't work. I was too tired, and spent too little time to request move, as I would get in only to sleep, but it did bother me quite a bit

Love it love it love it it was the last Choice Hotel after I had an incident at another hotel I end up coming here and they make sure and totally ensure that they accommodate me with all my needs love this place the people love their jobs there very very knowledgeable about the area lots of information and I love to come little breakfast next time your New Orleans and going out tour New Orleans East try this place pretty sure you like it

Everything was nice as expected, but not as nice as I thought it should be. I've been at cheaper hotels with nicer or more things in the room. We ordered room service but because of a situation I put myself into, I was unable to finish eating before I had to leave for an event. I could not finish my food because the was no microwave in the room or in the vending area. I just assumed that a hotel with the brand name of Hilton would have at least that ammendity standard, just like other hotels.

I did not stay at the hotel. My conference was in the hotel. It seems nice.

The Riverside hosted a conference easily with great facilities and ambience.

You can't beat the location. Generally, staff very attentive. Lots of amenities.

My faith is restored! Best Hilton ever. I needed this after a sad stay at Palacio del Rio in San Antonio.

From what we saw, it was a great hotel in a wonderful location. The event we attended was catered by the hotel and the food was great.

We ate charbroiled oysters for the first time at Drago's. They were amazingly delicious!

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

One of the WORST hotel experiences I have ever had. I was in town with co-workers for a convention. The initial hotel we booked (Grand Hyatt), was overbooked, so they sent us to this hotel, covered the stay plus transportation. By the time we arrived at the Hilton, it was very late at night. We didn't get into our room till past midnight. We entered our room and it was hot and smelled like vomit. As we were settling in and I went to take a shower, ROACHES crawled along the bathroom sink. I screamed and went into the room, and we found another roach on the wall. I immediately got dressed and we went downstairs to ask for a new room. The staff was rude and unapologetic. When they handed us the key to the new room, we asked if they were sure there weren't any roaches in this room. The front desk attendant just shrugged.

We got up to our floor and were reluctant to enter our room so we waited by the elevators. I called to try to speak to hotel management for the night and she was no where to be found. I then called hotel management at the Hyatt who was extremely helpful. She said she knew who was working that night and would get in touch with them. When I was finally able to speak with the manager, RUBY, she was EXTREMELY rude and non apologetic. I asked if there was any compensation she could provide for the inconvenience (keep in mind, this is now about 1:30-2am). She said any compensation would be through the Hyatt (our original hotel). Then I asked, "Even if it's YOUR hotel with the roaches?" and her answer was "they're not roaches, they're water bugs" ---- UHM! excuse me, I have a picture if you would like to see it. And she proceeded with "any compensation would be through Hyatt".

The fact that she felt the need to correct me as to what insect/bug was in our room means this is a known problem. And she couldn't even offer us maybe some bottles of water? breakfast?

Room clean with good AC. Staff friendly. Food slow but good with excellent service

Called for a room yesterday due to evacuation from Florida. They said they had a room until I told them I had a small dog at which time they said that they could not take us! We called the Marriot and they waved their pet policy and took us without hesitation. Disappointed in Hilton.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would.

Location is good, that's about it. The hotel is extremely old and out dated. My room had a broken lamp, mold on the shower curtain, a shower handle encrusted in unidentified crud and mold, and a kleenex holder with all the kleenex shoved in by somebody's fingers. The room was disgusting, and I felt dirty just being in the room.

I have complained to management, and I'm still waiting for a resolution. I was promised a free night stay at another Hilton, but management can't be bothered to call me back.

Don't ruin your trip to a great city by staying in this dump.

Had a hard time trying to get someone to park my car do I did it myself a lot of walking for my handycap mother to check in was not very happy

Nice hotel, but large and hard to navigate. Floor layouts are complicated and there isn't enough wayfinding.

The hotel was great. Being connected to the outlet made shopping easier.

Pros: Rooms were neat, nice, and clean. Location is convenient to the convention center. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Bathrooms were on the smaller side. I didn't like that the lounge was no longer there.
I lost my wedding ring at the hotel. Four days later, Hilton hotel security found it and got it back to me. I am very grateful and impressed by how their security was able to track me down and give back my ring!

Ok but charge for everything pool extra. Workout room extra.i can go to a comfort inn get more and pay less

Meeting rooms were neat and tidy. Technology in the meeting rooms was first rate. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable.

Room was very clean, with excellent staff. Hotel was very large and felt spread out. The pool was beautiful. Restaurants were pricey, but had good options. While the outlet food Court had more options, it was a lengthy walk to get there. Only negative was the noise from other guests' slamming doors. Walls felt thin.

Clean room, good size. Hotel is good location for outlets and not too far from bars/food. Room didn't have a do not disturb sign which was odd.

The experience was amazing! Booked tours and travels as well.

No easy access to the secure parking garage. The carpets were dirty with the prior resident s medication by the bed. Which tells me the room was not vacuumed. Plus the $44 extra to park in their secure parking. Will never stay at this location again.

hotel saff was not friendly or accommodating at all. they messed up my bill and would not try to help me to fix it. i had to call customer service the following monday to get anything done. they pretty much ruined my birthday weekend. i will not return to this hotel or give them my money ever again.

Went there for a work function. The staff were attentive and the facilities were very clean.

I had a great time and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I can't wait until next year.

This was my 2nd stay this year. The hotel is lovely and most of the staff is very friendly. However, the "hidden charges" the hotel kept charging my card every day are leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I probably will not stay here again.

Location is right near the French Square. Rooms are rather large, and there is a bar/dining room downstairs for hosting and eating. Room service is prompt and they offer a small menu of options.

ADA: Two stars because of terrible signage concerning wheelchair access to the Riverwalk outlet mall, and confusing inadequate directions from Hilton employees. Directed to the only elevators that lead to "RIVERSIDE, AKA BLDG 2", once there, no sign telling you that only one of the elevators would take you down--only elevator on right has a rear door. The lady in the Starbucks was very nice though and was the only one who offered to actually go with us to ferret it out. We took a ride in the outside glass elevator to floor 27 to take our mind off of the frustation, so that was nice.

The service at the front desk was exceptional. The room, although smelling like someone smoked in it (non smoking room), was decent, clean and suited with the basic room necessities.

Great location, friendly staff. Only complaint was housekeeping knocking on my door at 8 am day of checkout. Youd think tthey'd have a list or something?

Great room with a great riverside view and indoor access to the Riverwalk Outlet Center. Parking at the hotel is $$$ but that's normal for the area. Check-in was a maze and I didn't know to take my car to the parking garage first and then take the parking ticket to the front desk at check-in. Also there were very few signs indicating how to get around so we spent a good deal of time wandering. But otherwise it's gorgeous and I'd stay again
