I live 2.5 hrs away and called on a used car. Offered a price on phone if they agreed I would come get it. Next morning I get a text that we were good to go . This made me think they accepted my offer (they were asking $9900 for Civic 2 door 2013). A manager called me to see when I could come in, while salesman is texting wanting to know if I could put down a deposit. Manager tells me car is $8700. I said I offered $8500 and did not agree on $8700. Then salesman asks if I could split the difference? Needless to say I get email from a different manager and says the price is the asking price on internet. This is what gives car dealers a bad reputation. Be up front and honest from the start. I felt like they never listened to me since no one ever acted like they knew what had been said. I walked away to go buy a car somewhere else. Also sent email of my bad experience in fuller detail with no response.

Unnecessary jack up the prices with add-ons. Expect your take away price to be 2-3k above MSRP for a year old model(2018) even when the later one(2019) is present. Good test drive assistance but was not confident to purchase th vehicle.

I am always pleased with my experiences here! The staff here does a wonderful job of explaining all costs. Having a color-coded priority system helps me to determine which maintenance items can be postponed, and this is extremely helpful for financially planning for visits (I know we all hate surprises when we get to the car dealership for service). I wouldn t trust any other place with my car.

See Mark Clay as your sales guy when shopping here. I haven't met a used car salesman as concerned with customer satisfaction as he is. Though I had issues with one sales manager there, at the end of the day, Mark Clay and another manager named John Highland took very good care of me and I am 100% satisfied. Hence my 5 stars despite some frustrations I encountered. It's good to know that I have people at the dealership who actually care about my satisfaction. If that's important to you, work with Mark Clay. He's your guy.

I booked an appointment for an oil change at 5:30 (which was a tenuous process in itself because the online chat woman who was supposed to have booked it didn t and I found this out by calling to get the details on pricing). I showed up at 5:35 due to heavy rains and Dallas rush hour traffic and turns out it s not the service center I needed but the EXPRESS service center which is down the road.. I show up to the express service center at 5:37 and they told me they couldn t help me today. The response I was given was due to the volume of vehicles I would have to leave my car and come back for it . Pretty lame response for being just slightly late with a good excuse. Horrible customer service as no real solution was provided because what am I supposed to realistically do, leave my car there and walk home in the rain? They didn t offer a loaner. Their prices are also the highest in town and if you don t believe me, just check around to any other dealership for their service specials online. I for sure won t ever come back to this establishment for a maintenance service and zero percent chance I d buy my next vehicle here after that experience.

From sales, management, to finance, they don't play games and are upfront and loyal to their customers. Maribel, our sales consultant, walked us through from beginning to end. We knew we were purchasing this exact car with these exact features. She talked to us and was knowledge, friendly, and the entire team helped us get the best rate. I gave a visit to this dealer today and i have to say that it was the most unpleasant experience, Miguel and his team where not very professional. first they give me a price and later when they got to know that i will be financing the my car through 3rd party, the sales person says you have to pay a $1000 extra because you are not going with Honda financing. Apart from this when i was leaving the location because i was not happy with their deal, The sales person walks upto me to the parking lot that my manager said this is the best deal take it or F*** off, are you serious. would i buy a car from you after this never. even if this is the best deal i can get i will still not buy it from this Dealer ever.

I took my 2008 Honda Accord Coupe here, because my driver side door lock wasn t working Properly. And I had trouble getting into my car. They aimed to srew me over right off that back. They had me trying to open my own car door. Why in the world would I bring my car to them, if I could open my own door. I guess, I paid for some of the labor fees. When I did some of the work. The clicker they made for me didn t even work fully. I can t even Open the trunk of my car with it & the key dose not even work. Just the lock and unlock buttons. My advice is to shop around before you come here. Let these people be your last option.

Please be aware! Just purchased a car this week from here. When I signed the paperwork (which for most part was on a tablet that only asks for your signature)the terms an final amount financed were never disclosed during the financing. We had agreed on a deal during the sales process. I was to turn in my lease and finance a new car. The sales guy, Antero, kept telling me how it would be a wash with the lease and I would just be starting over. My father and I asked multiple times if anything would carry over and the sales guy always said no. That was not the case. They not only LIED to me about the amount financed ( they added negative equity) but also wouldn't give me a copy of my contract.
Financing process and events goes as follows: After signing paperwork on the tablet( only signature line) that fills in actual paperwork when I left I was handed an envelope with only my GAP insurance receipt but no contract in sight. The following morning I received a call from Johnny to notify me that my car was ready to pick up. I asked him to please give me a copy of my contract as they had not done so and he says "of course I will give that you with your car keys." Later that afternoon when I got to the dealership I only received my car keys and once again I asked for a copy of my contract this time to Tariq which is the one who financed the deal. He tells me "I have mailed your paperwork to you so you should be receiving it soon." I told him "well shouldn't you have a copy for yourself that you can show me or get me a copy of." He said "no." So I left feeling pretty uneasy that day and decided to come back the next morning. The next morning when I come in I am greeted my the receptionist and asks me what I need help with. I said "I need a finance manager please." She calls him but he is busy so she asks what it is in regards to. I said "I need a copy of my contract" I wait and then he shows up some time later with a copy of my contract.
I look over it and realize that there is a total of $30,000 being financed. When we were in the finance process the amount pointed out to me was $25,000 so this whole I am thinking it is this amount. This comes as a surprise to me so I ask why am I being charged negative equity since I asked from the beginning of the sales if anything would roll over. He says "you have to speak with Tariq." He should have told you this. I was never informed of this. If I would have known that I would be financing $5k extra I would have stuck with my original plan which was to finance my lease.

Please take this into consideration on your next purchase. I made the mistake of trusting these people so make sure to look over everything.

Every car I looked at was covered in swirl marks and scratches. Some where even spider webbing from cracks. Both used AND NEW. It is apparent that they do not know how to take care of the paint. There should be no excuse on why the new cars are scratched up. Would not recommend buying from here.

Teach your service advisors to listen to their customers instead of dismissing something that might possibly be wrong with their car. Instead of saying that it's my fault if they would've listened to my concerns they would have my respect. I've had a bad vibe from this dealership from the beginning but when I went to go get my car serviced last Friday, the bad vibe was still there. I was greeted when I got out of the car but had to tell multiple people that I was there to get my car serviced before anyone even helped me. When I started explaining what was going on with my trunk one of the service advisor basically said that i needed to be more careful and that they hadn't heard of that problem before. I don't care if you haven't heard of that problem yet. Be respectful and listen to my concerns. They also claimed they would have to keep my car over night to figure out the problem but it was never mentioned again. Also once I got to the service express department the guy was so quick to charge me instead of asking if my car was a lease. Overall I had a really bad experience and I won't be coming back to this dealership. They'll screw you over on a lease even if Ed Wallace recommends them. So do your research! I probably won't be buying Honda again. I'll proudly go back to my "cheaply" made VW according to one of the finance guys...

by Alex. He was very informative,polite, and he went into detail on explaining things. Making my car buying experience more enjoyable. I did buy a used car, even though he deals with new cars. He went to great lengths to help me into a car. I cannot express how much i appreciate him for that. I would also like to thank Jerome as well, he explained my payment options and helped me get a better rate. I honestly would recommend this dealership to anyone needing help with getting a car. I'm a 100% sure when i pay off my new car in 7 yrs. I shall be back to get a another car. I hope you will still be there Alex. Thanks again.

Like any auto service, it will take time if you bring in your car, but other than that, no complaints.

A few months ago I took my CRZ into be washed, which is a wonderful perk. During the time my car was being washed, I browsed the new car lot. The salesman came out with the keys and suggested I wanted to take the car for a spin. I said sure. Long story short, I traded in my Honda with 4,225 which they ended up selling in a few days and purchased a 2019 Honda. Well the other day, I took my 2019 car in for a wash and they said new management has eliminated the free car washes they promised you when your purchased your new car. He said this with a smirk and continued texting on his phone. This was not acceptable to me and I went in to talk with my salesman who took care of the situation.

Long story short, if you're planning to visit John...

Long story short, if you're planning to visit John Eagle Honda, please go to Autonation Honda @ Lewisville instead and meet Mr. Jim Johnston.

John Eagle Honda deserves NEGATIVE ratings for the following reasons:
[1] Lies: Since it was far from my place I explicitly asked them to confirm if the model of my preferred color was available. Ann Stone kept on replying she had it. She kept on telling that EVEN in the morning I went to visit her. She kept on taking the same stance for another 3 hours and then suddenly she didn't have the car and led her manager to come and explain it to us.

[2] No Respect for my time: First, they didn't respect the fact that I had to take a ride-share to go there. At least when I arrived in the office in the morning Ann should have told me the car was not available. She instead filled some forms and asked me how much time I had (who asks that???). And then wanted me to try out the car of a different color as it was as per the 'Policy' and my car was about to arrive. After all these, she tried to 'locate' the car and informed me that the car was not available. That was 3+ hours later.

[3] Pricing: I received a 'personal' message from JP Kinman (General Manager) and therefore told him explicitly what I was looking for and what I was expecting as OOD (Out of the Door) price. Ann Stone and her manager has NOT EVEN read the email. They took printout of the mail after wasting 3 hours of my time and then started going through. And now listen to this statement by Ann's manager: "... well, you mentioned the value <value1> as OOD but when Mr. Kinman replied, he didn't explicitly mention the value <value2> as OOD ...". WHAT? do I now have to assume that none of you in your hierarchy read mails that your customers write to you?? Don't you know the importance of price in a sale??

[4] Outright Rude: If you don't know how to be courteous, just say sorry, step back and go home. Ann's manager has the audacity to print in a new pricing sheet (without going through the print-out of the mails mentioned in the previous point and therefore not knowing the value mentioned in the emails should have been OOD) and started giving me the talk on what is a fair price. I had a friend with me to help me with the terminologies as I am new to the US and this guy won't even talk to him or let him talk. Even when people give something for free, a basic level of politeness is expected. I was shocked.

I was so mad on these guys, I didn't want to write a review for fear of some curse words coming out. If you guys want to buy a Honda vehicle, please just go a little further, visit Autonation Honda, meet Mr. Jim Johnston or Mr. Sonny. They were very courteous, patient and helped me understand everything. The negotiations were very swift and the price was much better than I was expecting (including a package added from them). Don't waste your time and energy at John Eagle, those guys are not worth it.

I have now had two very negative experiences when ...

I have now had two very negative experiences when attending the attached service center to this dealership, and would caution others to stay away- especially if they are not master auto mechanics who can fact-check their technicians on the spot when they attempt to upsell you reviews for higher commissions. Though each ordeal began very cordially with their staff, the experience became very uncomfortable when they told me what work needs to be done. I walked in with one very specific problem, and without fail, they always find a laundry list of things wrong with my vehicle, with the estimated bill ranging into the thousands of dollars.

The first time I went in, their associate Devon Ellis told me that I was "metal on metal" on my brake pads, with 0% of the brake pads left. In addition to this, they found a good deal of other things wrong with my vehicle, with repairs estimating $2,383.02. The employee told me that I was seriously endangering myself, my family, and my vehicle if I decided to drive it off the lot instead of paying to have all of the problems fixed. I was wary of this, so I went to another mechanic for a second opinion...lo and behold, I had 35% of my brake pads left, and not a single other thing wrong with my car. This business should be ashamed that they use scare tactics to wring out money from their customers.

Being a reasonable person, I decided to go back once again to have some airbag recall work done- I figured this would be a good chance to see if I had an isolated bad experience, or they were as dishonest as I feared. This time, I was served by Tony Alexander. Just like the time before, Tony found a long list of things wrong with my car, this time changing the estimated bill from $0 for the recall to $556.28. Recalling the last time this happened, I told Tony that I was going to wait on the repairs for a second opinion. As soon as he heard this, his attitude soured and he became very rude. When I went to get my keys from him later in the day, he could not have been more disrespectful. He did not even speak to me or look me in the eye, save for announcing that he was dropping the key into my hand. I went to another mechanic again to check their work, who found no evidence of any of the problems that John Eagle said existed, save for a nail in the tire. Again, they tried to con me into hundreds of dollars of repairs that I didn t need.

I challenge the dealership to respond to this review and address what I believe to be highly deceptive sales tactics and rampant dishonesty in their service department.

After being told that my A1 service would take abo...

After being told that my A1 service would take about an hour and fifteen minutes, I was asking how much longer when it was nearing the two-hour mark. I was apologized to for the longer wait time.
I then noticed that there was a small oil leak and after calling to find out what to do and when to come back in, I had to leave a msg. I did not get a return call until I called the John Eagle Svc Dept at the Honda dealership to find out if I could come there to have it repaired and was told that the service advisor would call the JE Express Service manager. I immediately got a phone call from the gentleman, Jordan, I worked with at Express Svc and asked me to come in whenever it was convenient for me.

Jordan was profusely apologetic and determined to make it right as quickly and painlessly as possible. The unfortunate part was that I had to take the time and make the effort to go back to the Express Svc location to have the issue remedied, but it was completed quickly and, again, Jordan apologized and hoped that I would give them another chance, per se.

I won't give up on the Express Svc location just yet! ;-)

Not a good experience with the Finance and extended warranty dept. Sold my vehicle and 3 months later, have yet to receive my refund for my warranty. Tried contacting the finance Manager (Jerome) but his response is, "You should be receiving you refund within the next week or so".

Yesterday morning I was early for my Express service appointment. B/c Devon was busy with a customer Jacob began the process. When i arrived I thought I was facing approximately $500 worth of work; but after questioning me Jacob suggested that we chat with Devon who quickly appeared. He had questions about the suggested service after reviewing my appointment on his computer.
An honest auto dealership?????
I drove away a little more than one hour after arriving with the two needed services: a state inspection, an oil change and a bill well under $100.
I will be back -- but hopefully not too soon

I purchased the 'option' of free oil changes, tire rotation, dent removal, etc. thinking it would be an express system, only to find out the express lane is closed - it took over an hour to change the oil, and oh, a free car wash - I would never have purchased the option had I known I had to wait for over an hour for an oil change that takes ten minutes at other places. And I had a reservation plus the checkout took 15 minutes - really? I was standing there in a walking boot from surgery - 15 minutes? I am Seriously thinking of selling the car just to get rid of the ridiculous price I paid for this "service". I should have known it was a lousy gimmick...

I emailed Mark Clay @ 8am in the morning inquiring on a car I was interested in. Mark immediately got back with me. My husband & I arrived @ Mark Clay was there waiting for us. We took a test drive & decided we wanted it. Mark was awesome! We sat down with David Rivera & went over pricing. Once the price was agreed on we were sent to financing. I traded in my 2016 Honda Accord Sport for a 2020. I wasn t even thinking about trading it and Brad Horton approached me, stating he could get me in a 2020 and guarantee lower payments than I was currently making. I was open to hearing what he had to say and looking at the car. He kept his promise, was very kind, and I drove away in a brand new car. Not only that, it had a few tiny paint chips. I took it back a couple days later to repair and he had a car waiting for me to get back to work right away. I would definitely buy again as everyone at this dealership has always been very kind helpful!

Great Guys of sorts wow !!! Top of the Line ! ! What a great dealer ship ! I came here to trade my car in and they actually gave me more then blue book. I mean I'm sure they got me on the other end of it but shoot everybody has to make money and of course i'm a sales man I did not leave with out a little drama LOL. No but the salesman were very nice and I was really impressed with them. They actually had me laughing and that can be a hard thing to do. Great bunch of people ! ! !

Had to have my AC system replaced in my 08 Honda Civic...immediately a big hit to anyone s budget no matter where you get the work done.

The difference with John Eagle was there service staff s understanding of how difficult that bill can be to cover. My service rep, Jordan Hernandez, did a great job by working with me to help me make the best choice to fit my repair needs. Jordan was patient and understanding and was able to work with the challenges that I faced in covering the repairs.

I am glad that I selected John Eagle Honda for my service needs. Over all really happy with the service. Thanks y'all.

I recently purchased a pre-certified owned vehicle from John Eagle. I honestly did not even know this honda dealership existed until I started shopping around. I was very pleased the minute I emailed a staffer about the vehicle. Their attention to detail and customer service is exquisite! When I came to the dealership to test drive the vehicle and work on the paperwork, not once did I feel pressured to purchase the vehicle and everything was explained in depth so I understood all the terms and paperwork. Both the salesman and financial staff were courteous, helpful, and very professional. I will recommend my friends and family to John Eagle and would consider purchasing another vehicle from them in the future.

i bought a used car $2000 down 72,000 miles very nice chevy aveo 2007 this was feb this yr 2013 june, july and now august need a transmission.. I would NEVER buy another car from this place!!!! They give me the run around something terrible when I'm asking for help in repairing this car.. Oh they'll fast talk ya and after you give them your money BEAT IT cause you're stuck .. I've gotten better deals at the tote the note lots. smh

I spoke by phone with Mark Shipman in the morning about a Honda Accord shown on their website. He gave me a final price for the vehicle within 5 minutes. I met with him at the dealership at 1:00 p.m. and found him to be professional and low-keyed. He finalized the deal with his manager, got me to the finance department, and out the door with my new Accord by 4:00 p.m. Overall, this was an extremely easy and positive buying experience. No pressure, bait-and-switch or unpleasant surprises. I would certainly recommend John Eagle Honda and Mark to anyone looking to purchase a Honda in the Dallas area.
