Took my Honda in for service. Great service they let me know time frame when service would be thru with the oil change. My service advisor was Tom who kept me informed thru the process.
Roger Wolfe took great care of me and the dealership was awesome. 3 years ago I didn't have a good experience at a different Honda dealership, but this was the complete opposite! Honda Cars of McKinney was easy to work with, they didn't pressure me and worked within our budget and credit scores. I would highly recommend both this dealership and Roger.
Went to buy a new honda pilot on 7/22/19. The sales rep gave a out of door price. After going to the dealership they undervalued the trade in by 2k against Kbb Instant cash value. Was told they if I get a better value for trade from another place they would honor it. Went to a Chevy dealer and they offered 5500 against 3500 offered by these guys. I went back to them with the 5500 trade offer and they wont honor it. On top of it they added cost for nitrogen, pinstripe, kahu theft . Namo tint etc etc etc things which are not even listed in monroney sticker...I would call this as RIP off when it is not told to you upfront. Walked out as they started screaming and insulting. Next day I got a call from one of the sales director who was even more abusive over the phone. On 7/23 came to another honda dealership in Dallas area and got the deal I wanted with no hasseles .good bye Honda of McKinney and special thanks for making my life xxxx for 4 hours on a Tuesday afternoon.
We were in the market looking for a van. We had multiple quotes from different dealers around the metroplex. the dealership is literally a mile away from our house and we wanted to support local business, however to our shock, we met one of the rudest manager ever John, wanting to make this the worst car buying experience of our life . He was condescending and rude. When asked about the Truecar price quote sent from the dealership, he denied to acknowledge that. He came up with these pumped up numbers and when asked to reconsider started reasoning in a raised voice. He was totally disrespectful and truly doesn't care about his customers. I would never step into this dealership again.
If you're getting service on your car, get Ron as your service manager! Ron was helpful in getting the VTC actuator replaced on our Honda Accord. Had it done, washed, and ready to go in under 24 hours. When we first received the car, it had a Check Engine Light. Ron had someone look at it. Initially, he found nothing wrong, but Ron said he's gonna have him tear it all down and readjust everything to ensure there aren't any catastrophic timing issues, and he'd give it back on Monday (the next business day). We came back on Monday to pick up the car, and it ran like a brand new car! Would definitely recommend Ron as your service manager.
Marlon was a great salesman, he listened to what we wanted and made it happen with no hassle or fuss! The whole process was quick, easy and exceeded our expectations! Also, I just have to mention. While in the waiting area, I observed various techs chatting with folks about their service status or situation. One lady was very understanding of a customer s situation which would take multiple days to repair, offering a loner option for her. Another case was a gentleman tech sitting next to me to talk to a lady customer, both then sharing pictures of grandchildren with each other.
We have been doing business with this dealership for years. all of my services has been done by this particular dealership. we had purchased a Honda Accord from different dealership because we had gotten better deal. It did not come with the front license plate holder so when I took the car into Honda Cars of McKinney ask them that I was pulled over if they can please install the license plate holder so I can put my license plate. Spoke to Jeffrey he said he was service manager he basically said just because you come over here to get your services done but you did not purchase the car from us you will have to pay for the license plate holder. He was very rude I will never be going back to this dealership again. my car has been having issues I have called the dealership multiple times they keep saying you have to bring the car in when it is happening which I have taken many times they keep making excuses I have called Honda Honda had advised me that there is something going on with my onboard computer. I have spoken to Kyle which is one of the service advisors he told me next time it happens to make a video and send it to him which I did. After I have sent the video to him he told me that his managers think this is something I have to take my car back to the original dealership I had purchased from to get it taken care of because there's nothing they can do. so where I am confused about is is this a Honda dealership or not are they only going to take care of the cars that are purchased from them but all the other customers are not appreciated. So I would highly recommend everyone to take their business elsewhere all the other dealerships sell their cars at cheaper prices and their customer service is phenomenal this dealership does not care about your money what does not care that you spend it there. The only thing they care about is their numbers and their profits. They have lost a loyal customer from past 10 years over a license plate holder.
I traveled all the way from Little Rock, Arkansas to purchase a vehicle. Oni was the salesperson that assisted me in finding my vehicle. He made the process very easy and was able to address all my questions and concerns promptly. He got me approved for a car with low miles and a great price. We bought a car and paid with cash. The finance guy complained and treated us poorly. I found out that I had rims out of round and was asking if they could help. They suggested taking the rims to a place that would make them round again?!? They turned the tire light off knowing the tires had no sensors and didn't inform us of this. I would not recommend this place to any one. Crooked like the stereotype.
Always a great experience getting my car serviced here. Don t take your Honda anywhere else. My Accord has over 500,000 miles on it. This last time, Tom was my service manager, and he was excellent. But I ve never had a bad one here. Highly recommended.
I never wrote a review before but I have to this time. - I came in for service and for the 3rd time, cars that came late were processed first. - I purchased my black edition here and never received a promised copy of purchase docs...UNTIL NOW!! - they dont even bother to mail my permanent plate number even though they know my home address. I was stopped by police for driving expired temp plate days after I returned from long out of the country trip. - I owned Odyssey & Black Edition...I swear I will never come back even it is close from home.

Overall I had a great experience here. I highly recommend working with Zia. He was super knowledgeable and patient. When I purchased a used van from here and noticed there were still spills in the cup holders and some other detail work that hadn t been done he validated my complaints and made sure that they did the detail work all over again. I did encounter a forceful salesman and had to be firm with him about what I wanted but I kind of feel like that s pretty typical at most dealerships. But definitely ask for Zia and you ll be all good!

The car salesman Razaq Olajoye is a wonderful, hardworking man. He did a wonderful job explaining all the bells and whistles on the car I bought. He also offered me to test drive both cars I liked and was very pleasant to work with. He gave me ideas and did not pressure me at all or rushed me. I had my family there so it showed he could work well with them all. I highly recommend he be put as employee of the month every month! He does his job right!

I was looking for a specific used car. The first one I found was at Toyota of Dallas. I made the mistake of going in for a test drive on February 28th. The sales guy was super high pressure and was only concerned with making the sale by the end of the month. He mentioned that three or four times. Then, he recommended I sign the paperwork for three cars and pick which one I wanted that upcoming weekend. By then, it was time for me to go.
Long story short, I found a similar car with lower mileage and a better price at Honda of McKinney. Sent an email, went in for a test drive and ended up buying the car. They had a low pressure sales team that genuinely wanted to help customers. Great experience overall.

Horrible experience. The Service advisors did not welcome me until 20 minutes that I was waiting out of the door of my vehicle, I have to contact the car salesman who sold me the car to get a Service sdvisor. Then the Service took almost two hours for an oil change and tire rotation. No stars at all.
I got my Honda from this dealer more than a year ago and I still remember the wonderful purchase experience I had with them. I brought my Pilot in for its first oil change, mentioned I ran into problem with my seat belt. No problem said Carl we will take over to have that looked at first, it will take a little longer are you OK with that? I replied yes and went over to have breakfast at the Whataburger. Within minutes they identified the problem was a safety issue and ordered a replacement belt and also gave me a vehicle until the part arrived and was successfully installed. I have to say Honda was forthright with every aspect of my safety which they placed first. I have always had good experiences with the service team and I am impressed with the fact Honda cares. Regular service at this dealership is usually completed satisfactory. Like most dealerships these days they make as much money as they can charging ridiculous prices for having these items completed. They know that many people will have the dealer suggested maintenance done with out questions. 80% of the work appears to be looking at belts, hoses, tires, etc. Not really replacing much. I was recently presented with suggested maintenance needed on my Odyssey van totaling ~$2400. I took it to a private mechanic who uses only OEM parts and who use to work in a Honda dealership. I had everything done that was on the Honda dealership inspection and more completed for ~ $1200. Now please explain how I can get the same work done for half the price. It s called markup. Again these dealerships know many people will just accept these crazy prices they are paying without question.

Whatever our car needs is done quickly by their competent and pleasant staff. We have never had any complaints about them in the six years we have been taking our cars there. Happy faces all around .

Been going to Honda mckinney to service my cars since 2007. We have recommended at least 12 people who have purchased vehicles from Honda. I took my 2007 Odessey to get it detailed and serviced recently. It was a horrible experience. Service was rushed and below standard. Thinking twice about going back. The only reason I would go back would be because of Ron. I can't even talk about how disappointed I was. There was no follow up or survey. I had the rugs shampooed and they kept the car overnight but did not let the rugs dry. My wife and kids had to drive around for two days with this horrible moldy smell. The oil was overfilled when they did the oil change the second time. The first time they didn't even put the correct type of oil in. Again, if it wasn't for Ron....I wouldn't be coming back to Honda Mckinney. Slow it down Honda!!! What happen to being personal and great customer Service??? The two Stars are for Ron. No stars for service, detail and feeling rushed.
I loved my experience here they really took care of me! Kamal the salesman made me feel like he really cared about what i was looking for. Rick the finance person made me feel like he did everything in his power to give me the best deal he could find. They were both the reason my experience was so great! My experience here was great . Oni Konomi our client advisor was very helpful and understood our needs , he made this a very pleasant experience. I cannot recommend this dealership for service. I took my car to get repairs for a honda recall. They also did a courtesy maintenance check and recommended a list of services. One of the services was a brake flush because the mechanic said the fluid was dirty and dark and needed to be exchanged. The big problem is that I just had a brake flush service done 2 days ago at another repair shop and personally inspected the fluid afterwards to see that it was completely clear.
The floor person said later that he personally inspected the fluid and saw that it was clear and did not need to be exchanged. I explained the dishonesty to management, and they tried to explain it saying that maybe they heard it wrong from the mechanic or that sometimes they can't tell between fluid that was changed days ago and fluid that has been used over 30k miles.
Be careful about this place. There may be honest mechanic and workers there, but it is very concerning that the management would not take responsibility or hold the proper people accountable for dishonest practices.
My son purchased a CR-V from Honda Cars of McKinney and has been extremely pleased with his dealings with them since. That is the reason I came to Honda Cars of McKinney. It had been 25 years since I purchased a new vehicle and choosing a car was a three generation family endeavor. Kevin Jones made it an awesome experience. A lot of 1 star feedback comments on the same thing: they bait with $6000-7500 discount and get you in. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that before. They gave a good discount, but have over price dealer addendum to make the total out-to-door way higher than the price any other dealer I quoted. Be aware!

Bought my 3rd Honda Civic from these guys and there was an issue with the entertainment console of my EX-T. I took it in 3 times within the first year...updated the software...the problem continued. Two years later, even with videos, they did not replace the console and said that it was a software update. They did not clean my car or anything as a service while they had it either. Just a disappointment. I will not purchase another vehicle through Honda Cars of McKinney.
Terrific dealership! I bought a new Honda Accord from Jacob Tovar this summer and absolutely love it. I had a great experience working with him - he made sure that all my needs were met and I was able to stay within my budget. Robin is the service advisor I usually meet. She is knowledgeable and addresses my concerns with detail. My vehicle has always been ready for pickup within the time frame agreed, always with good results. I've also noticed a sense of pride in working for this dealership among her, her fellow service advisors and George (the courtesy driver). I pay attention to how well they interact with other customers as well as with each other. This is why I keep returning here for my vehicle maintenance needs.

I needed an oil change, but with the COVID-19 pandemic, I was a little apprehensive about taking my car in for service. I need not have been concerned; Ron Tranka took good care of me! The service was done quickly and efficiently, and after washing the car, the inside of the car was sprayed with disinfectant, covering all the areas that may have been touched by the technicians! This was done with each vehicle that was serviced, and I left feeling confident that my health as well as my car was in good hands with Honda Cars of McKinney. I highly recommend this dealership.

First of all, I purchased my CAR at your location and been wearing your LICENSE tag on front and back of my CAR, however, I been coming for all those years to your location cause one I purchased my car there and 2 expensive but the service was good to me in the past years.
I came on yesterday RO #31789 Carl Miller to your location to get Rear Brake Pads changed and he double check my front pads. He says 3 hours wait...Okay I am fine with that because I waited 3 hours before. Hours from 12:10 to 5:15 the time frame I was there at your location in McKinney, but when 3 hours was there, I heard from NO ONE and had to get up myself to DOUBLE CHECK on the status of my CAR. Finally, some guy with and attitude came out and did not discuss it fully. I was disappointed in that cause I found out afterward if my FRONT Brakes was worse than my REAR ones then this GUY should have suggested to change my FRONT first and I would have a little time for my BACK. Everyone don t have MONEY like that to do BOTH changes at one time. So that GUY should have suggested this to me.
So at 4:51 Carl text me saying my car was ready - I paid my bill when over a few things with Carl, however, NO ONE COULD FIND MY CAR or my KEYS. NO one was trying to HELP until was got I finally got INPATIENT. Finally, at 5:10 pm (5 Hours Later) I got my keys found my car myself, walking through your parking lot. View the CAMERA. My car was parked not straight parking when I saw it in the parking lot; the Wheels of my car was turned all the way around. WHY WOULDN'T SOMEONE TELL MY CAR WAS READY. and WHY was it PARKED out there in the PARKING LOT. It was washed BUT not wiped down. My car probably was ready at 4 pm I hope and pray that my car was taken care of the right way because I paid a lot of money for Brake Pads and an OIL LEAK, they came I had.

I recently went to get a car for my mom and everyone that we spoke to was extremely helpful. Our salesman John couldn t have been nicer, he surprised us with his spanish and how well he was able to communicate with my mother. I came here to purchase my first car out of college, which was a 2018 Honda Accord EXL 2.0 T. I worked with Razaq, who did a wonderful job at answering my questions and getting the car I wanted to me in less than a week. He was incredibly responsive and organized. Made sure to get prior credentials from me before coming to the dealership and waiting too long to sign paperwork. I got my car appraised and the guy would not give me the keys to my car. I should have called the cops. He had the keys in his pocket. So, finally after several requests, he gave me my keys. Then he called me a name because I didn t want to buy from them. Very unprofessional.
Alex A. our salesman was wonderful. He was efficient and knowledgeable. He wasn't like other cars salesman who stay in your face the whole time. He gave us space to talk and look. Him and the team at Honda of McKinney were even able to get us the car we desired, granting us more money than the loan we originally was approved for prior to our visit. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle, ask for Alex. He has patience... lots of it and worked with our budget.
Got rear brakes done in June and had to get brakes done Again in September How is this Even Possible!!!! never did the work i paid them to do these guys robbed me, told me i needed a caliper replacement for 1000 when I actually needed the brakes done because they failed to do them the first time ...Stay Away!!!!!
Brought in my 500,000 mile Honda in after the clutch failed. Great service and work, the clutch works like new, and the repair was cheaper than I thought it would be. Had the master cylinder done once by a fly-by-night shop in Garland - it cost more and didn't last as long. Learned my lesson, and all our Hondas (we have 4 currently) get worked on here.
The service department is extremely professional in its work and communication. They provide a great value for auto care as well. After a very pleasant first time experience, I will be taking my cars here for service going forward.
I went into the used car department after seeing a car online on CarGuru. We called ahead to make sure it was still available, and spoke to Charley. When we arrived he had the car pulled up and ready for to test drive. After thinking it over, I came back the next day and bought it!
Charley was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car even though it was not a Honda. He was not overly pushy, but instead showed a genuine interest helping me find the best car for my needs.
