Wonderful staff and beautiful location along the river. Close to shops and attractions. They have been friendly and supportive of the conference I'm attending - in true New Orleans hospitality! The location of the dining and lounge area are located centrally and a great place to relax and network with colleagues. Reccomend for business and vacation.

I've stayed in this Hotel many many times and so have my friends. We love the clean beautiful rooms, every one has a wonderful highrise view of the city. It's incredibly romantic. Classy without haughty. They offer many options for your convenience, such as dress shop, which has more than dresses if you forgot to pack or need a clothing items which I have done!! They have a fitness center and Sunday Jazz brunch . I love the glass elevator which is an exciting way to begin your New Orleans visit, vacation or a romantic weekend. Oh, and you can lleave your iron, hair dryer, robe , slippers, etc. at home as these items as well as coffee maker are provided.
They have a very friendly staff and great food and room services. Don't worry if you haven't brought a car. Taxi service to the Bourbon Street area are right there and I to very inexpensive.
are provided.

Nice hotel but will NEVER book during Mardi gras! Drove around 3 hours trying to find an alternate route to the hotel due to roads being blocked. Called the hotel and they gave poor directions and when we finally parked our car and walked about 20 minutes we finally arrived....... the staff was really unconcerned!

The rooms were beautiful and the views were amazing, but the buildings were sprawling and complicated to navigate, which didn't go well for the bridal party I was with. The courtyard they had set aside for us to take pictures is was also dirty from a party the night before.

I stayed a total of 5 nights, as I was attending a conference at the hotel. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the staff and their willingness to accommodate my room request. The room was fairly clean, but lacked modern decor and standard amenities (i.e., microwave). While the hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance, of downtown shopping and restaurants, the price per night was unreasonably expensive.

Room is nice and has a nice view, but a few minor issues for a somewhat pricey room. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Overall great experience and convenient to the MACNA conference we're here for this weekend.

Small rooms the view is okay but service is awful. Way too much for the actual quality. Room fridge was filthy when we arrived. Bathroom also wasn't cleaned until we asked them to clean it. Parking is overpriced. And they WILL charge you for items that you think are actually complimentary(ie the 10 dollar credit they give you for any place in hotel yet still charge to your card anyway). We were definitely treated less than other guests due to the fact that we were here on an employee rate. Never again will this hilton get our money and we make trips to this area about 2-3 times a year. Horrible mistake. Should've went to the doubletree down the street.

This hotel offers rooms the view of the river. It's pretty amazing view from the higher floors. Their check in process is easy and they offer Digital Key when you sign up on Hikton reward programs using the Hikton Honors app. Their WiFi is good. They have a few restaurants in the same building and they are not too far from the French Quarter.

Didn't stay at the hotel, just ate at Drago's inside the Hilton. From what I saw, the hotel was pretty amazing and big. Drago' s was delicious. Some of the best charbroiled oysters in New Orleans.

I am enjoying the river view watching the ships and barges heading up and down the Mississippi. The health club is outstanding. And the customer service has been phenomenal. I especially appreciate the service I received at check in from Joronique!

Great hotel perfectly located near the quarter. The room was spacious, clean, well equipped and quiet. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. I recommend the Hilton Riverside to anyone that want to enjoy a stay in New Orleans. It s suitable for families, business trips and singles.

The amount of charges you can accrue at the hotel is not worth it in my opinion. The carpet was dirty and sticky..dod not feel clean. The AC went out in the middle of the night because it was on a censor!?? When there is no movement, the AC turns off which is a crazy concept to have in a hotel room where individuals are sleeping?? Parking is $44-49/ per night. Booked my hotel through Priceline so if I wanted a view of the River, I had to pay an extra 40 per night. The only upside for me was the Resturant and the Riverwalk which is attached to the hotel. I will not be back at the hotel anytime soon. I would rather stay at the Intercontinental or Omini. My experience was not a good one.

Convenient to the Harras Casino and Burbon Street ...

Convenient to the Harras Casino and Burbon Street is a 5 minute trolly ride. The Trolly is $1.25 and $3.00 for an all day. The hotel is nice and has a few convenience stores, Dragos restaurant and some drinking establishments. The room is clean and the bed is comfy. Check in was long and that's just because I'm here attending a conference. They offer check in via the hilton honors app and digital key service. Which I should have taken advantage of. I would recommend this hotel and did I mention Superwalmart is about 8 mins away?

The hotel was clean, bedding and pillows were fine, location was easy for mardi gras and my experience with housekeeping was lovely and kind. I did, however, feel like the hotel was trying to nickel and dime us, breakfast was very costly (I was under the impression by the website that it would be free), the gym had fees, at check in there was pressure to upgrade to a better view, different beds etc...pools were outside not open in the winter which I was disappointed by... I have not stayed in other hotels locally but if I end up in New Orleans again I will be trying other places.

Huge hotel on the riverside of new orleans. Too big. Lacrosant restaurant prices are extremely high, service is lacking and servers are rude.
You can find a better place to eat breakfast and a better place to stay. You can expect high prices and rude servers in new Orleans but you can experience the culture and sights anyway.

The hotel itself is fine but some features like the elevators are dated. WiFi is not free - they charge $10 for standard or $15 for premium internet per night. Breakfast here is expensive ($25 for buffet) and was not particularly good.

This review is going to be a challenge.

This review is going to be a challenge.
If you get a room, make sure you are facing the River.
Regardless to the Main Tower, Building 2 or 3, you will not get much sleep otherwise. The train tracks are not only for the Tram, there are Freight Trains running and they have to sound their horn!
Check in and Check out is super slow, expect 30 to 60 minute wait time.
Regarding the Hotel, a large complex with many services.
The staff is always happy to help and provides good services.
Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable however the rooms may not be the size that you would expect. Make sure your AC/Heat works before you unpack.
Event services completely missed the mark.

We ate at Drago's & it was great. The Oysters were just as amazing as everyone told me, but the French bread that comes with it was overdone. The restarant itself was dark & a bit outdated but clean. Staff was nice & attentive.

Close to many good restaurants. Rooms are fairly large. Recommend a view of the river. I love being able to check in through the Hilton Honors app and use my phone to unlock the door to my room.

Great hotel. Staff was friendly. Staff asked for cell phone number at check-in and they texted me throughout our stay to check on things. Never had that before and it was great. I was able to ping them with random questions and always got a quick response.

Great location. Average rooms that are clean and decently appointed buy showing their age (or is it wear and tear?). Swimming pools appear to be an after thought - small and under maintained - the water level in one was about a foot low.

Our stay at the Hilton during the Essence Festival was FABULOUS!!! The check- in was quick and very professional. We ate at Dragos Restaurant nightly and the service and food/drinks were great. I especially liked the fact of the convenience of the trolley and the Casino. I plan on booking my next years stay at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside!!

Stayed here for a conference at the convention center about 1-2 blocks away. Great location for getting to the convention center! The hotel was under construction when we visited. The design is beautiful and there's a great rooftop swimming pool! Did have some issues with staff being willing to take time with people or, if they did they we're the only person there with several people waiting. Which is understandable. If I have another conference at the convention I will likely stay here again. However, if you are looking to tour more of the historic areas of New Orleans it is less than a mile walk away. This may not be the best option for visitors looking for sight seeing .

Great location and overall a nice place, but the rooms desperately need need work. Leaky faucets and toilets, peeling wall paperpaper, and roaches. Maid service was not great either--no laundry bags and kleenex--had to call housekeeping. I don't know if the other nearby hotels are any better, but might want to check them out.

Must say I really had a great time there the service is excellent everybody there very hospitable nice oceanview. Walk outside and your on the boardwalk. Down stairs is a very nice size Mall which was impressive you don't have to go outside and do some nice shopping walking distance to bourbon st. I will return.

We stayed at the Hilton for Mardi Gras weekend, actually just checked out this morning. Earlier this morning when we asked for more towels, I saw two bed bugs in our new set of towels. I took a picture and video of one of the bed bugs, showed front desk, and they only asked me to send the video and they would investigate it. So nothing was done about it. I definitely won t be staying at this hotel again or recommending this hotel to anyone else.

Love this hotel BUT disappointed in my last stay. I had a suite on the 29th level and I was woken up every morning at about 7 am from people being loud outside my door. I thought it was maybe people checking out but it was actually the workers. They turned the loft area into a conference area (which i think is very inconsiderate to guest who pay to be on this level for privacy and most importantly QUIET).

It took over an hour to check in. The staff were rude and unprofessional. My room didn't get cleaned until after 3 pm after calling twice. My 15 dollars pizza and Coke turned into thirty dollars w all the room service fees. The front desk never answered the phone. Not a great selection in gift shop. Would not stay here again. I usually love Hilton and stay there all the time.

Large hotel that is very impersonal and service could use some polish. Location is just a bit far from the action of the French Quarter. Rooms are updated, although the showers are still a bit grimy.
