My stay was superb from the minute I arrived until three days later when I left. I was there with over a thousand other teachers. Check in was amazing with enough staff to handle everyone. Staff was polite and efficient. All meals served were not only delicious but staff was most accommodating, polite and eager to help. Everyone meal was seamless! Impressed by the friendliness off all staff and the amount of help there was on hand. It was like a well oiled machine. Been a long time since I ve seen service like this with so many people happy to serve. Not one bag egg in the group!!! Also the it staff was always there to help speakers with any computer glitches! Excellent job!!

Real nice hotel, very active and live environment. Great employees, clean rooms, and great food. Will be returning soon.

This hotel is so beautiful! I stayed here last year for my birthday and honestly was impressed. I had the river view which was amazing. I also loved whatever air freshener they use because every time I walked in I would smell it and it smells good! The room was very clean and the hotel itself. The bar had a very nice vibe. The drinks were great and food was great as well. I would definitely stay here again! I also loved the little details the hotel had as well.

Hotel is what you expect from a large hotel of this type. Staff were very helpful and friendly (especially those on the concierge desk) with plenty of local knowledge of where to visit and where to eat etc. Room service was good - they promised to get the food to me within 30 minutes and it normally arrived within 15 minutes. However, I did have some issues.
1) Make sure that you are not given a room next to the railway track running at the side of the hotel i.e. between the hotel and the river. When it sounds it's horn, you will certainly know about it.
2) Neither breakfast or access to the gym usage were included in the standard room price - which was not at all cheap.
3) To change my room because of the proximity of the railway track, I had to pay an extra $50 a night. This provided me with access to the gym and the executive lounge for breakfast, which was OK but not great. The gym however is quite large for a hotel gym and reasonably well equipped.

Absolutely wonderful. They have a great staff, rooms are clean with comfy beds, and best location. Dragos is phenomenal too

Location is amazing, right at the end of Canal and Poydras. The hotel looks slightly dated but it was clean and the workers were very friendly. Great view of the city and river. I was incorrectly charged for drinks at the bar, but they refunded me without hesitation. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location right on the river, friendly staff, the food served at the gala was great, nice looking restaurant/bar.

Clean room, friendly staff, excellent fitness facility. Connected to the outlet mall so I was able to walk to the convention center indoors on a rainy day. Several snack and food places, and a coffee shop.

I had a good experience here and had a room with a nice view. The hotel is also conveniently located. My only recommendation is that you not get the breakfast buffet. It's grossly overpriced.

Lovely health club facility. Very clean with great amenities.

The night staff at the front desk was so rude to my wife this week. The desk attendant harassed her because they didn't have our credit card on file in order to bill this week's stay. The attendant claimed she didn't have any of the stuff we sent in prior to arrival at the hotel. Both the day manager and the finance office managers assured me they had our information and that everything was OK for our stay.

My wife is so upset because the front desk attendant keeps calling her and asking her to come to the front desk during the middle of the night. We want to move to another hotel and ask for a refund but the other hotels in the area are booked solid for this week.

A bit outdated, but otherwise a good place to stay.

This hotel is HUGE , so felt like a MAZE initially

Great room. Great staff. Dragos was tasty. Work out facility, top notch.

Nice location, were not able to get a King sized bed due to "construction"

The housekeeping and other staff we're outstanding. The room was clean and comfortable. The food I had for the ADK convention was pretty blah. Not worth the huge price. However the wait staff was also outstanding.

Great location! Good access to outlets, Harrah's and the Riverwalk.
