Cool place awesome lobby very great pool but the vending machines prices way to high for just a drink recommand bringing drinks with u to the hotel and dont but them here
Great event for a conference! Plenty of room and no issues with technology
Our bartender Tabitha was really friendly and made us some great cocktails.
Very nice place to stay. Close to attractions and downtown. For some reason the water isn't very hot this time and the parking is very expensive (like everywhere else downtown Nola).
Drago's Restaurant - aweful except for the charbroiled oysters. Wish I had read reviews before we went. Biggest waste of my hard earned money.
The room was clean and nice, but we weren't able to get it as cold as we would have liked. Other than that, a very nice hotel
I really loved my hotel room. Comfortable bed, great view of the city, close to the convention center, and nice restaurants. The only thing that could have been better was hotter water in the showers. The water was warm I just like my showers borderline scorching.
Beautiful rooms, great staff! Made our stay here great!
Disappointing.
The hotel itself is very big and the building is rather ok although I cannot say it s nice. I had a suite that was really large and comfortable. The cleaning service was not satisfactorily and once I had to call for making the room since it wasn t done till mid afternoon. But what I didn t like the most was the service in general. The staff at the reception and some staff at the restaurant Le Croissant were really unpleasant, rude and not professional. On a positive side, the location is nice and well connected but in the same area there are tons of other hotels that share this same benefits.
As a Hilton diamond, I stay at many Hilton properties all over North America with my career. Also, I am typically not hard to please either.
This is my first (and last) time staying at this location. I have never been left to feel like my presence is an inconvenience. The customer service is horrible. Once I finish this stay, I will gladly add further info on what made this such a terrible birthday experience.
Had a 19th floor room with a great view. Location was close to the convention center and was a pleasant walk.
Pretty nice hotel, had satisfactory service. Hotel is connected to the Riverwalk so that's a plus
The staff has been very friendly! The location is very good! The rooms and decor are pretty outdated for a hotel that does a lot of business, especially as one of the main hotels for the conference center. Please make it more clear that the fitness center is actually not a free fitness center and is a health club that guests must pay a membership fee to access or a $12/day pass. This was a major turn off since much cheaper hotels offer free access to fitness centers.
Location was great, close to everything. Service was wonderful. Super clean & plenty to do.
Upscale sports bar...recommend spicy caviar and buffalo chicken salad
In room 1622. Great view of the Mississippi River. Very quiet room and super comfy beds. Nicely decorated room
Room did not look as nice as the pictures on website. I am checked in now and they told me a baby bed would be right up. That was over 2 hrs ago. I called and they said they would call me right back and have not got a call back after 30 minutes. Just need to put my baby to bed. Check in was fast and room was ready on time.
Clean room, but small and cramped. The two beds barely fit. Customer service was terrible. Check-in, restaurant, guest services, and check out were all bad customer service experiences. Not at all the experience we have had at other Hilton properties.
Nice place- should be for the price. Average value. Location, location, location is why we stayed this visit.
Great place for a convention. Wonderful location. Friendly staff. I'd dock half a star for their outdated locks and their non-functional electronic key if I could...but we had a great time and I'd go back right now if I could.
We went to this location to dine at Drago's. The food and service were excellent.
RUDE staff, dirty hotel, stay somewhere else for less money!!
Drago's has the best oysters in the city! We visited twice during our weekend stay. The service was great on our first visit but I can't same the same for our second visit. The waitress was very friendly or attentive. She forgot about the drinks we ordered and took 5-10 minutes before even acknowledging us. I can say the guys who grill the oysters were super friendly.
Bell hop service poor. Airport lost my luggage, then located it and drop it off at the bell hop desk at 1:30 AM. I left message to call me when came in
Never received a call. I checked at 8AM was told it had not arrived. I called airline to check on my luggage. They told me it was dropped at 1:30 AM. So I returned to the bell hop desk about my luggage. They said no luggage came in, I told them that the airport dropped it off this morning at 1:30 AM. So they checked and by God it was there. I asked why I was not notified when my luggage came. They asked if I had left phone number or a room number. I said yes and to call at any time. They checked and by God it was there!! I had wear the same clothes for two days and had to be at meeting that morning wearing the clothes and out of uniform at the meeting. Other wise it was good. Thank you. Juan Palacios
Really good location: Close to the Convention center, Boardwalk, Mall, Bourbon st.
Staff was friendly and professional.
Nice conference venue, but very large. Make sure to consult a map!
it was ok but staff wasnt up to they standards wasnt really nice experience could of been better need work employees were horrible
Nice hotel with good service, rooms are showing the signs of time. Location is great if you attend a convention (only 5 minutes walking).
Nice hotel especially if your getting on a Carnival Cruise. They have an awesome health club for $12 So if you get there early buy into that first.
Welcoming employees, smartly decorated lobby, rooms are spotless and brightly lit. Restaurant on site is simple but complete. Right next to convention center.
Came because we had a free room. Were charged $200 deposit which was our money to eat. My wife and I were given a room with 2 twin beds. Shower was moldy. Water sounded like a train. Could hear everything going on in the hallway and adjacent rooms. How this is upscale I'm not sure, but I'll never stay at another Hilton again.
great place to stay just a bit over priced for the age of the rooms
For being in the hospitality industry, the people who were working the check-in desk and concierge when I arrived were extremely transactional and unfriendly, particularly after a long day of travel. It wasn't due to a busy time, as there were few people there. The hotel is really expensive for not providing a very welcoming experience. Many of the service employees have been fantastic however.
This Hotel is in the center of everything. The aquarium, the outlet mall is connected to the Hotel and the Casino is across the street. Easy 600 feet access to the trolley and bus transportation. Nice restaurants inside the facility and multiple others within walking distance. Rental cars are available in the hotel as well. This is our Hotel of choice in New Orleans.
Customer service was awesome, venue and classrooms were organized and neat everything was great
Nice place for conventions with a great restaurant on staff.
Enormous property with many different room options. I highly suggest the parlor suites.
Nice hotel. Took too long during the check-in process.
The city is nothing of a beauty you see on post cards, maybe if you take a boat it looks better? But the hotel is the exception and the quality is great.
We enjoyed the river view, and the nice vista. I barely noticed about 3 miles out the square structure of the nuclear power plant.
On the streets is different story, where you hear people nagging you on every corner foot massage or from weed vans.
We took the tram to nearly last stop and visited nice Russian bar that served really good food.
To my surprise my WM American Uber driver on our way back to hotel sad that he likes to drink between shifts more then before he used before he moved here from another state up North.
That makes me believe it is a way of dealing with heat and humidity here.
But hotel is on central location and walking distance to all historical attractions. Tram station 7 minute of walk. Boat ramp 3 minutes - next to hotel entrance. Very recommendable.
Nice rooms, spacious event facilities and attentive staff.
Convenient to the convention center and the French Quarter! Riverside streetcar is right at front door! ALL staff that I encounter were friendly and helpful! Room was clean and modern...fridge and coffee included.
I was suprised to find i could not get my own luggage cart to go to the room. That being said, from check in to check out was five star service. Friendly helpful staff, very well appointed surroundings.many bars and restaurants to choose from. Even the marketplace is glass walls with wrought iron gates. We had rooms overlooking the river boat dock. Beware the AC is set at 78 when you get to your room so crank it down and go for dinner. Harrahs casino accross the atreet, and a riverwalk ahopping arcade atyached to the hotel to apend your wonnings in .
Rooms are really large, updated, and very comfortable. The walls are a little thin and there is no room service. Overall very pleasant and excellent location if you attending an event at the MCCNO.
Facilities were great for the conference. Only issue was I got lost every time coming in and out. The place is like a giant maze and is very confusing.
Attended a conference at this hotel. Front desk was helpful and dragos is an excellent restaurant (inside the hotel)
Very unimpressed with this hotel. Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband. We were in NOLA for our anniversary (Hilton staff new that). We got a very outdated room that had an odd smell and a view of the parking garage. To make matters worse, we had very noisy neighbors who woke us up at 2 in the morning. You're much better off staying at a hotel for a similar price. This is one of the worst Hiltons we have stayed at.
This hotel has several amenities. The staff was amazing, very friendly, very knowledgeable. Great location, right by the MS River. Beds were plush & comfortable. However, the decor is a bit dated compared to several boutique hotels in the area. Also, WiFi was available to Hilton Honor guests only. Lastly, valet fees ($49/night) were expensive. Self parking was only $5 less than valet. Overall nice hotel but would definitely consider other choices as there are several other hotels nearby.
Extraordinary accoodstions and service. Perfect location.
The location is in the midst of everything you need to enjoy New Orleans. Drago's is the inhouse restaurant, and when I tell you the signature char-broiled oysters are phenomenal they are. The rooms where clean up to date and smell pleasant.
I presented at a conference there. The hotel is well, a hotel, and the continental breakfast sucked. But the exercise room was very nice and the AV staff were incredible.
Decent hotel. Be prepared for a hike to get to your room, but I felt safe. Snack bar had extended hours which was nice. Staff was friendly.
The Hilton Pastry Shop, is the Originator of the Mardi Gras Doberge Cake exclusively at The New Orleans Hilton, you must call hotel and put your order in through marketing department, yo must put order in 1 week ahead, it's a delicious cake and takes time to make, my personal favorite for Mardi Gras Partys also Pralines, and the Hilton Log king cake, made specifically by the Pastry Chef, it's her own receip, (yummy).
Good food at Drago's and decent drinks at the hotel bar.
Great spot but a little priceier IMO. Cool bar area, great staffing, prime location
Nice rooms and room service was great! Staff was helpful
Good food and drinks but not cheap. Great location.
The Eggplant & Shrimp stack was delicious, and a lot of food for one serving.
Location and rooms were great but the restaurant service was really lacking.
I exclusively stay at Hilton family of hotels, and I have to say this was probably my all time favorite stay. This hotel was right on the Mississippi, and was connected to the Riverwalk Outlet Mall, which was 3 stories tall! Much to my surprise, the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center was attached at the other end of the the Outlet Mall.
The Rooms were very clean, the staff was 10/10 for helpfulness and friendliness.
It's really, really big... It is nice, but, I hate the parking garage.
Horrible place. Ride staff, no smile on their faces. Stuck here for 6 days I wish I was staying at Hilton Garden inn.
My family and I decided on a last minute trip to New Orleans. I booked our one night stay at the Hilton Riverside Hotel and LOVED IT! When we arrived not only were we greeted by several gentlemen outside, the courtesy extended inside. The front desk clerk was extremely nice and took the time to answer a few questions that I had even though there were several people in line. Our room was a deluxe 2 queen beds with a riverside view. VERY CLEAN and completely up to date!! We were only in our room for a short time and checking out was as easy as turning on the tv. While waiting for my husband to bring the car around several bellhops offered their services. We will defiantly stay here again when we return to New Orleans!
Great place for Conventions, Group meetings, Carnival Balls
We chose the Hilton bc it was recommended by the convention we were going to bc it is beside the convention center...well, it is beside it, but u have to walk close to a mile.
The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The staff has been helpful too.
I didn't stay here, but attended a conference here. This place is clean, beautiful, and in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, riverside, and French Quarters.
The hotel was wonderful located next to Riverwalk outlets. We arrived Sunday afternoon to have a late lunch at Drago's. The restaurant was maybe 25% full at 2pm and our party had ordered char-grilled oysters and fresh oysters. The grilled oysters shrunk a lot with the heat, the flavor was great, just wished they hadn't overcooked them. The fresh oysters were large and delicious. They validate parking at $6 for 4 hours which was fantastic. Service was fantastic at the restaurant and I would go back just for the parking validation.
Pretty standard for the Hilton. A nice walk down to Bourbon Street, especially if you stroll through the casino. Every single driver and taxi service in town knows where this place is, so if your thinking you may forget directions while your out, stay here.
I attended a job fair at the Hilton riverside location in ballroom b and it was nice and the floor plan of the booths where easy to get to without bumping into people
The bed felt like sleeping on air so so comfortable I wish I could've took the bed home with me love the keeper kept our room so clean and when we check in the representative was super polite
Very clean, great parking, good use of natural light, modern amenities.
Nice place very impressed with staff. See Vicky at the Concierge desk she is very friendly and very knowledgable a huge asset to this hotel. The room is nice but needs a microwave.
Very very nice hotel. Expensive, but very nice. The location is very convenient to anything you want to do in New Orleans. I did not get a chance to eat in any of the restaurants at this place however I have heard great things about them too
You still have to make an account to use the wifi here or else you have to pay,
Great location right on the river. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Only complaint is $50 parking.
Paper thin walls, $44/day parking!! Extremely basic room for the money you pay. Definitely would not recommend.
I had breakfast there one morning before a conference. I thought it was great! I'd recommend it!
The hotel could us an update, especially the carpets in the rooms but the staff is wonderful and attentive. They now charge to use the fitness center which I find offensive. Why nickel and dime your guest?
Love this place. Right on the river. You are in the middle of everything. Shopping, checking the sites, good food, good food again since NOLA has the best food.
I am a Hilton honors member, and I m beyond unimpressed with this hotel. Not only did I have to pay almost $300 dollars for ONE night...but in that price, absolutely nothing was included. No hot breakfast. (Like most hotels include free of charge) no parking was included (again...like most hotels include) it cost us almost 50 dollars to park! It seemed like the entire time we were at this hotel they were constantly nickle and dimeing us. And again...absolutely NOTHING was included in the price????? For a Hilton honors member?????? Ridiculous.
In town for the New Orleans marathon. The hotel was really nice and in a great location. I didn't use any of the restaurants, gym or any of that. The room was good. Overall it's a good place to stay if you want to walk to the French quarter or anywhere else downtown. The main knock on the place that I have is the fee for parking. $44 for self parking is absolutely insane.
Make sure you do not have a room overlooking the atrium/ lobby - the noise level from the bar/ restaurant is ridiculous and it echoes. The room was clean, bed & pillows comfortable, but not worth the price, especially compared to other Hilton hotels I ve visited. The location is convenient if you need to get to the conference center.
Built over active railroad tracks. Don't be surprised by midnight horns.
Needs more vegan options.
Good location. Walking distance from the water, tourist attractions, and outlet mall including a Cafe du Monde location.
