Friendly and courteous staff and housekeeping. Would definitely recommend to friends and family...

I will give them a two star cause of location and cause their food was amazing. Seriously better off just visiting the restuant and skip staying here. Made reservations months in advance and had to fight to be in the same BUILDING! All the rooms were on different floors which sucked. Rooms were small and feels like they need to upkeep work and not try to fix it with duct tape. You won't see that on website cause they made sure they had good looking sections for that.

I am a Hilton Honors member and have stayed at many nice Hilton Hotels, this time the front desk staff was rude and placed me in a room that was next to the railroad tracks. Through out the night the train went by and the crossing bars were making noise for over 20 mins. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! I am disappointed at Hilton.

Misrepresentation. They show nice pictures of the gym and the pool, but you have to pay an extra 12$ per person per day of use of the gym. I would understand for the tennis court and the spa, but I have never seen this before. They are breaking the law by doing so and they should rectify by putting a big disclaimer on every and any website of partners selling their rooms. I have chosen that hotel specifically for their gym.

Took my kids swimming at the pool and there were cockroaches running around in the corners of the patio area. Also saw some in the hallways. My biggest peeve is there's no baby changing station in the men's rooms. I had to go into a women's restroom to change my daughter. Our sheets were not clean and there is a moldy smell in the bathroom. There's a train that rolls through in the evening on the river side that blasts its horns waking up the baby. Would have been good if the lady told me about this before giving me the room.

Not really friendly staff at the check-in counter.
The sheets were clean but the room was not fully cleaned. There was a plastic bag left in the room from the previous guest.
The fact that WiFi isn't available for free is very funny, and you should sign up for Hilton honors to get it for free.
The elevators are kind of hit or miss and scary since some of them don't work well and might stop in between floors. We heard a guest stuck in the elevators while we were there. I am taking about the ones that take you up to the 16th floor.
We were charged more than what we had booked the room for online, and we told them at the checkout time and they adjusted the fees, so be careful and make sure what they charge is what you booked the room for online; otherwise, you might have to pay extra.

Hey Hilton NOLA Riverside! Your hotel is poorly kept. You don t serve complimentary water ($3 per bottle). Your TV is old and cable is decent. Your bathroom could be upgraded. I understand you were built to serve the convention center and are a budget Hilton. People expect a certain standard from you. Please fix it all. I just thought I should let you know. PS your bed was comfortable like most hotels.

Look at the mold in my room. Just checked in, and TV doesn't work either.(February 23rd 2019). And my buddy had to ask for another room, his room wasn't even cleaned from the last person who stayed. Little over $1200 for 4 nights. Very disappointed. We stay in Hiltons all the time. I know this is not Hilton standards.

Went to Dragos to try the famous charbroiled oysters and though I enjoyed it, they didn't live up to the expectations that locals had set it up for. Service was good, but the table could have been cleaner.

By far the best hotel for the money! We stay here when we go to the zoo and aquarium! Love this place! Valet is nice and convenient. Location is prime. Tennis courts. Gym. Pool. Give it a shot you won t be disappointed!

Very nice facility for our meetings. Good food. Problem: convention was for over 1000 women. On first day, Women's bathroom did not have toilet paper in the stalls. We had very limited bathroom breaks during day whole at our meetungs, so time was previous. We had to wait while a hotel employee came in to put toilet paper in the stalls. Most annoying.

Rooms were nicely appointed. The Executive lounge has great views, poor service, and extremely limited seating. The general appearance of the hotel on the outside is dirty. The bar is huge and staff was great. The parking garage is old and like a dungeon.

The stay was nice. My only complaint was that I booked a King room but was told there were no kings available for the entire weekend (which I don't believe). We were given an old double which was small and cramped. The bar was fun and the food was good.

Terrible service, rude, wouldn t provide a cart for us to move luggage, over charged multiple times then was told they would reverse the charges. It was a major inconvenience and we will not be returning.

The staff was great until you leave something in the room and it was turn in. Sad that you cannot trust the staff to turn in simple things that guest forgot when they leave. Guess whatever you leave there the staff keeps it. Such a sad end to great time you have there unless you don't leave something in the room.

I did not stay in this hotel, but I attended a conference with 300 plus members in the St. Charles Ballroom and we had our breakfast and lunches in the St.James Ballroom. These spaces were very classy and well maintained. The hotel catering staff did an excellent job feeding us and the food was delicious.

Trying to park was almost impossible and the parking deck cost $45 per day. My associate checked us in before I arrived at midnight and they didn't want to check ME in saying the room hasn't been paid in full, even though it had. We finally sorted it out in the morning. It took some arguing that night but we finally got the room key to go to bed. The room was lovely, the view was nice and the room service was fairly quick. It's a close walk to almost everything and the concierge desk was helpful at finding places we were looking for. AFTER parking and checking in it was a nice stay.

Recently stayed in the Hilton Riverside for my Mardi Gras Coronation. Like I do during all my hotel stays I unpacked my clothes and put them in dresser, items which included a brand new Saints sweater and a few designer jeans. Due to in climate weather we decided to sit the game out. Since I did not get dressed for the Dome it did not occur to me that I left my clothes in the drawer. As soon as I realized, I immediately called the Hotel where I was given the run around. I spoke with someone in security and she advised me to not call back that she would call me back because she was off the next two days, which sounded shady to me. I never received that call! That is when I decided to contact corporate and again NOTHING! I would be wary of employees as they can not be trusted to turn in lost items instead just take them for themselves! My stuff was technically STOLEN and nothing was done to rectify compensation for this mishap! Shame on the Hilton we were dedicated clients!

The hotel accommodations are about what one would expect from this kind of place. Our room was in a corner of the 7th floor. It was a bit small but it was cozy and had a nice view of the river. It was fairly quiet which was nice. A real standout was the bar, Public Belt, which mixed up fantastic NOLA cocktails. My favorite was the Vieux Carre. On Friday and Saturday they also have a nice pianist.

Hilton Riverside New Orleans was a adequate place to stay for 4 nights. Close to the Mississippi River, which we had a view of and the staff is exceptionally helpful, friendly and courteous. The location is the best and we were able to walk to the French Quarters, Bourbon Street, the French Market, and to many great places to eat. A car is definitely not needed in New Orleans, and we either to the Streetcar, or an Uber to get around. We walked over 28 miles in 5 days! Great fun for sure. Would love to come back here again.

I would not recommend this Hilton property. I WAS a Hilton Honors Diamond member, but it is this very circumstance of a systematic cascade of failures by management of this Hilton property. It deserves no stars at all.

This was a busy location upon our arrival. We were there because of a convention and the entire second floor lobby was occupied with guest. We were able to get the key card and go up to the room. While in route to the room, one of the porters passed and I asked a question if the rooms were on the same floor as the check-in. He initially ignored me and I thought he didn't hear me. I asked the porter again if the rooms were on the second level while looking at this older looking porter. The porter, without even turning his head/looking up, said the rooms are upstairs and kept right on walking. This type of representation was pretty rude and definitely not what I expected from a Hilton worker. Normally there are bottles of water offered to guest upon arrival, but and this instance the front desk towed guests that they ran out and would have to call back tomorrow. There was a young porter getting off the elevator with a luggage cart and bumped my wife and failed to say "excuse me" or even apologize for what was done. The room was okay with a few issues such as extremely slow drainage in the sink and the tub. At one point, we were just happy that the toilet flushed without having any flush issues. We had to call several times for linen, towels, and a blanket which was never delivered to the room. The elevator seemed to be operating a lot slower than what I recognized as hotel fast. There was a hotel issue that apparently caused all guest to be immediately locked out of our rooms without access to our wallets, purses, conference id badges, training manuals, conference books, or changes of clothes for separate meetings in our training classes. It was several hours until a new key card was issued for the room which still was not functional. We went to the in-house Hilton bar restaurant where we ordered food to go. About (45) minutes later, the cashier at the bar delivered the to-go order and then promptly advised us that we would have to eat our to-go order at the bar since they had run out of plasticware for to go orders. Why weren't we initially advised of this issue before we placed the order to go in the first place.

We stayed during the Bayou Classic. We were leaving on a cruise and stayed 3 days before. Although it was very busy because of the classic, it was nice, clean and close to the trolley car stops . We would stay again.

At check in was charged amount of the full stay plus $50 extra per night (case you use amenities like room service - that amount will be refunded at a later date if not used) and also $44 per day for parking. So cost is $100 more for each night upon check in, which had a long line. Accommodations not better than less expensive hotels.

It's a very good hotel. Nice view of the river. The only issue we had of the hotel is when we booked it on the website stated that they had an executive Lounge. When we got here and ask them where the executive Lounge was, they said they no longer have an executive Lounge. That was one of the reasons we booked with this property instead of a different property. That was a little bit disappointing.

Beautiful lobby. Outdated guest washrooms. Parking was unreasonable. You had to pay for Wi-Fi. Who makes guests pay for Wi-Fi anymore? really tried to gouge you on one of the most important amenities when travelling
