I haven't even made it to the hotel yet and so wish I could cancel. Didn't know parking cost so much and to get two beds instead of the one, cost $118 more! That is such a ripoff. And there had better not be any roaches to be seen!

Stayed here the night before leaving out on a cruise. Great staff and a clean room. Checking in and out was easy. Used the Hilton parking garage for our vehicle while we were on the cruise which had great rates. Easy access to and from the cruise terminal.

The bathrooms had mildew in the shower. The water was never hot just warm. The maid did not come everyday. Room was clean. Be advised the train tracks are right next to building and trains blow there whistles whenever they pass.

Rooms are great. Only drawback is how expensive breakfast is. $30 per person for a breakfast buffet is ridiculous and Hilton should be ashamed of themselves for gouging people. Trying to budget for a family vacation, wasn't anticipating spending $150 for a family of four.

The rooms were cleaned spotless each day. The hotel itself is beautiful, there are amenities built in, such as Starbucks, a fine dining restaurant and bar. The hotel is attached to shops such as a mall. There are attractions nearby, restaurants, a casino, a brewery, and the river walk.

Thank you for reaching out to us we did the change the review to a 4star

Hotel is very nice Room very nice just felt like the upgrade the young lady at the counter while checking in was not what she explained to us kind of felt like we were taken advantage of example there was no spa for my wife to go relax and be pampered like we were told there was a gym full of people working out the bar we were told we could use are drink pass everyday was under construction it took 2 days to for them to let us know we could go ahead and go to the bar on the bottom floor and get are drinks

Hotel is very nice
Just felt like someone was just trying to make a commission and told us what ever they needed to so we would buy it for every day we were there

Parking garage makes it easy to get in and out, and provides easy access to vehicle. Clean rooms, nice surroundings, easy access to French Quarter. The Dragos restaurant in the hotel serves chargrilled oysters, one of the best dishes in New Orleans.

It's a pretty solid hotel and huge. It's also quite accessible to the casino and a nice walk to the touristy locations and the awesome restaurants in the warehouse district. Service was pretty seamless. They were able to quickly answer the phone when I called them. I'd see if I can stay here again if the rates are competitive.

Decent hotel but could use some updates. WiFi only worked well from r me in the lobby. Rooms are clean but again, updates are needed in my opinion. Did not have any major issues or complaints during my stay

I was here for an eXp Realty event. The hotel set up was nice and conveniently located across the street from the Casino. The wifi work very well with the huge amount of people on it. Recommended

Large hotel. Like 1600 rooms I think. Always hard to check in/check out for hotels this size but they do it well. Room service, too, is good for a hotel this size. Rooms are spacious and clean.

The hotel is right next to outlet collection mall . There is a bus station and tram station right outside. We got a room with two queen bed. Room was clean and spacious. AT&T wifi was available for free. Bit noisy because of train tracks next to our building . The A/c setting automatically changed to 72 degrees in the night even though I set it to 67 before I went to sleep. Woke up in the middle of night probably because of the loud horn from train also because of the change in a/c setting. A few good restaurants near by.

I was with a table of 12 seated at a table for 9. Service was slow and waitress seemed overloaded. Oysters that they were "famous" for were subpart. Meal was partially comp'd though which shows good management.

There's a lot to love. But. It's so huge, and it leaves the sense of not luxury but wastefulness. No recycling. No skip changing your linens. Little food without meat. On the plus side, very helpful staff, well-equipped gym (3 indoor tennis courts- did I mention huge?) and lovely, classy bar, the Public Belt. p.s. thanks for coffee machine not a keurig and tea bags not earl grey!

It's got a nice location for visitors, not the most convenient for locals attending an event since its not on the street are line and you have to park in a garage. The catering service wasn't stellar for my event, it wasn't bad either, just kind of over eager and pushy. The halls were also kind of architecturally stuffy. I definitely prefer the Hyatt Recency as a event location for luncheons and meetings. The space is way nicer.

If I could give this hotel less than 1 Star I would. I had a gross experience here, thank goodness I only had to stay one night. Extremely poor customer service and front desk management. Waited 40 minutes in line- just to check in! Lights were out in my room in the bathroom. Shower was dirty and mold was growing around the fixtures. Housekeeping entered my room without knocking while I was changing. After complaining to numerous people I was finally told I d receive a discount which they ultimately pretended they never offered. Absolutely awful. Such a shame too, because New Orleans is one of my favorite cities. I d instead recommend the Royal sonesta- a million times better.

It's fine. Good location. The best services were offered by the taxi/Uber/circle drive staff, concierge, and front desk - in that order. Good location. Housekeeping service is adequate. People running the morning coffee market on level 2 are RUDE and need different jobs. (judged on 2 separate stays for several days). Bar staff is not friendly at all. Don't bother trying to walk thru the mall to the convention center. No clear signage and difficult to navigate. Do yourself a favor and just walk outside. We literally had to hip check the door to our room just to get it open Every. Single. Time.

There was a major screw up with my reservation(not on my end but at the desk) the desk people didn't like the fact I got upset and threatened to have me removed from the property. Room was pretty good, walkable to a lot in the area. Concierge needs some work, asked one of them where the best bourbon bar was and he advised Pat O'Briens, sadly that was very wrong. Would not stay here again unless the boss was paying for it for a conference.

This is a poor excuse for a Hilton. I'm a rewards member, and was quite surprised with below standard service. Noteably, I returned to my room after nearly 12 hours of attending a conference at 6pm to find my room was not serviced. Also, I discovered a pistachio shell on the floor next to my bed which is from a pervious guest. Additionally, guest floors are not secured by room key in the elevator. This is strange for being a conference center in a busy area. While nothing was horrible, this is not the quality I've come to expect. When I return to NoLa, I won't be staying here.

I wasn't an overnight guest but this hotel is spacious and right next to the riverwalk mall. In fact it's connected to the mall so your will not be exposed to the weather. In the hotel itself, It has several places to eat & a Cafe. Every employee I encountered was courteous.

We arrived on Thursday and were told that our room was not ready, which was fine because we were early. The front desk told us they would text us when the room was ready. Seven hours later still no room. Went to the front desk to inquire and after a 30 minute wait in line, was told they had no record of us arriving. I asked for a manager and was told that it was very busy and told they would provide us with a $300 food and beverage credit. This morning i woke to my folio under the door so i review it only to find no credit. Stopped at the front desk and no one knew what was supposed to have taken place until a manager came by. She said she would take care of the credit. Just received an email folio and still not credited as promised.

Rooms are okay, but service is horrible here. Steer clear. The Marriott, embassy, Hyatt, Hampton, Sheraton are all far better.

Never again.

I work for the company so if I'm writing a 1 star review you know it's bad. I had an upgraded room. As a customer I was not happy with this location. My bath tub drain was clogged up with dirt and grass and hair. Which also let me know that they did not clean the tub. If they would have cleaned the tub, they would have noticed it being clogged up with dirt, grass and hair. As soon as you turned the water on and the water went down the drain, nothing but grass, dirt and hair came up. I call down twice and no one came. It took a 4th call the following morning before somebody even came up to unclog it. And he was very friendly out of all the people I spoke with. So Thank You Cleveland for being friendly and unclogging my bathtub.

As the only major hotel along the river front, this venue has rooms in the main building and rooms along the river front. I highly recommend the river front rooms as you have an amazing view of the river and all activities on it. It's also the closest to the river front mall which stretches all the way down to the convention center for a nice indoor walk. Continuing the other direction up the river is the shortest route to the French Quarters that can be walked to in 10-15 minutes.
Update - we just saw signs for renovations of the riverfront rooms. Once completed, this will be a five star venue. Btw, the picture posted was from our room window.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Dragos on the first floor is good. The public belt (bar on 2) is great. Rooms are a bit dated considering it's one of the main hotels for the conference center. But decently comfortable bed, big TV, and adequate temp control in room so overall nice.

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms.

A little dated for my tastes and the elevators are some of the slowest I've experienced but otherwise a great experience.
