I Called to alert them that someone had booked a room using my credit card via Priceline and that person was staying in the room fraudulently. I found this out when I received an email confirming my stay from Priceline. I was at the time in Massachusetts.
This was Friday sept 25th around 9pm. They assured me that they would take care of the matter and I wouldn t be charged. They charged me anyways knowing it was not me staying there.

Stayed here for work but wouldn t suggest it. High rates per night, plus you have to pay for WiFi and water. Asked for a water fountain and was told that s not an option but you could pay $3 for a small bottle of water.

Our friends stayed here, but we meet them there. This hotel is connected to the mall via sky walk and is close enough to Bourbon Street. It's also right across the street from Harrah's Casino.

My friends and I were in town for the Jazz fest. While checking in, we asked if we could take advantage of any upgrades. The four of us ladies were upgraded to a suite at a very reasonable price. It helped our weekend go much smoother with the added room. Gorgeous room and views. We were all extremely satisfied with the location of the hotel and our stay there. We would definitely recommend!

Good ambiance, but the food options are very limited. Hotel staff is very good, but leadership seems to be absent during a crisis. Someone lost the master key and they shut down room keys for the hotel. Many were stuck for quite a while trying multiple times, with multiple keys to gain access to their rooms.

My son's phone was stolen from one of the hotel bars and I was given the run around to even file an incident report. It felt as if they were trying to prevent me from being able to see the tapes. My wife and I went to look at the security camera locations and it appears that their are several cameras that could have a good view of table 9.

Location is good, short walk to bourbon Street, French quarter. Very busy crowded in the lobby. Fodd at restaurant is average. Several places nearby with better food. Meeting facilities were average

The location is great. It is far enough from the noise of Burbon St., yet only a short walk away. The room was clean and the aesthetics are nice. The staff is helpful and friendly. The view from our room unfortunately did not have sight of the river, but of the parking garage. Not a big deal, but if you book a room, you may want to ask for a room that faces it.

It was clean. The food was ok. Most hotels give you a meal a day with your stay not so with this hotel. They nickel and dime you through out your stay. If you want internet extra,! If you want to not look at the roof,! If you drive and want to park in that lot extra! Be ready or stay home!

Shout out to Vicki the concierge who was spot on with her recommendations on food, site seeing and transportation in New Orleans. Made our visit even more wonderful. Hilton is lucky to have an employee like her!

I did not enjoy my stay here for many different reasons. One being you can't check in until 3 and no one even suggested if we can ask for early check in. It was sooo cold in the rooms because of how long it took it to warm up in the room. No extra blankets, no continental breakfast ! 4 star? No I don't think soooo! I will not recommend anyone to this hotel Also when we arrived the entire hotel was full of the Clemson Tigers football team and staff and they were RUDE! Hah but Alabama won the game 24-6 Now that's what they get for being rude and obnoxious You all charged $400 for one night! No microwave Really?

We stayed at the Hilton Riverside for our Honeymoon in 1980. Each year we get a room for the weekend. Most if the time we get a lovely river view. This year we could see the Algiers bon fire from the room. Always great service.

Only visited here for the parking garage and also ordered a beer in the bar. Great place to park with reasonable rates if you get the parking validation. The rate was $8. The beer we ordered was WAY over priced! Two CANS of beer was about $20! I can understand charging a little more for being at a nice place, but we felt robbed!

The layout is good, and the rooms are spacious. The AC does make an annoying humming sound, but I quickly tuned it out. Bed was a bit too hard for my liking but no other major problems yet.

This place was the worst experience of our life. The front desk people were extremely rude and condescending. We were told that we would receive a special discount on the rooms because we were booked on an American Queen paddle boat tore up the Mississippi. Well that was a joke and a room that you could get it Motel 6 for $69 they charged over $400 for. It's a rip-off and I would recommend that you try one of the boutique hotels like the hotel st. Marie rather than wasting all your money at this piece of s*** place. You pay an arm and a leg for parking. The hotel is huge and you could wind up walking three to four hundred yards just to get to your room. No one seemed to care except the Porter's who are expecting to see a tip from you. The buffet that they offer in the morning for breakfast is just a generic Buffet with nothing special and the price would make you choke. The drinks at the bar are so expensive you wonder why you just didn't go to the French Quarter for a drink. If I could give this zero Stars I would. If you take a look on Yelp you'll see that they get absolute horrible reviews all the time. I guess the only good selling point is that if you're a gambler the casino is across the street but then again why not just stay at the hotel attached to the casino

There were virtually no rooms at check-in. We had VERY high room rates for this weekend. I'm a loyal Hilton traveler, so of course I'd stay here. I've stayed at this hotel many times, and in general, it has been outstanding. Not so this time. I'm not even sure where to start. The front desk was rude. They would not make my charge card on file work, so they wanted another. Nothing was wrong with the card. No recognition as a frequent traveler, no water, no nothing. The room had a WET carpet. (maybe that was my water???) There was virtually no food in the morning (it was very busy...). The general manager of this property hides behind his staff. I've left numerous messages. All to no avail. This is one diamond elite that will never be at this property again.

Riverview room was small, but comfortable. Great view of the river from the16th floor. Worth the $$ for the view. Breakfast prices are ridiculous. $30 for breakfast buffet. Walk 2 blocks to Mothers and spend 8 bucks for breakfast.

Rooms are okay. They seem to be a little bit dated, smaller than some other hotels I've been in, and some of the fixtures are a little bit more worn than I've seen in others. Staff were friendly. Facility seems to be run well. Locations fantastic in central business district of New Orleans just south of the French Quarter.

It was nice, but difficult to get from the shopping side to the hotel side when a train is stopped on the tracks. The escalator was too narrow for a wide stroller and the staff didn't seem too happy to show us where to find the elevator. Their solution was to walk across the tracks after the train moved, but since it was completely stopped we didn't know when that would be. Luckily the baby started crying and the staff member relented and showed us the way to an elevator in the back hallway.

My wife and I stayed here last night while in town for business, not the first time. My experience this time was horrible. The air conditioner in our room didn't work properly, the bed was hard, and the staff was rude. To top all things off, when I got home I realized that I had additional charges to my account that I wasn't informed I would receive. My past experiences have been good however, after last night, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I stayed here for the National Guard Association Conference 2018 and I will stay the staff at this hotel was super friendly and catered to our entire event. My room was awesome with a riverfront view and was very spacious! Thanks again Hilton!

The venue was wonderful and the staff was friendly. We had lunch catered by them as well and one of the people at urban table had a problem with what was served so the chef made something special just for her. Would utilize them again.

The facility was great and the staff complimented it with their helpfulness and customer service. Something is going on here, that doesn't happen often in many places anymore, I am more than impressed with the service here.

Visiting for a professional conference and the location is in close proximity to the convention center and Riverwalk. Looks a bit dated in some areas and entrances were rather small or inconveniently located. It wasn't too bad though. Still pretty rough looking around the area but can't say too much given what has happened with Katrina and all those things. Overall positive experience still and staff is pretty friendly.

Place is ok, but just getting your room for the price you have to pay, maybe you can find something better, you don't have access to any other place, let say pool or gym, you have to pay for that.

The location is good and the facility is impressive. The food served onsite is sub par. We have been here twice this year as part of a group. Between the 2 stays we encountered rooms that were not cleaned before we checked in, common bathrooms needing attention, another group double booked in our meeting room and extremely sloppy book keeping of our expenses. Groups will probably be disappointed with all the trouble they may encounter. As a side note, the facility has several railroad tracks that run through the center of it. This morning at 5am a freight train blew its teeth rattling whistle and likely jolted every single guest in the facility awake.

Nice hotel but when we checked in and came to our room, hair on the toilet seat, soap had been used and dirty towel on the bathroom counter. Called the front desk and they said someone would come up to take care of it. 4 hours later, no service. Had to call front desk again to see if they can come through with their word. 1st night, hilton would get an "F" rating. 3 more nights to go...

Definitely not what I would expect from a Hilton. Sink was clogged, mold in the grout, and shower head rusty and loose to the point it sprayed on the ceiling. Worse part, it wasn't clean, someone else's hair in the bathroom. Would not recommend and especially not for the rate they were charging

Very disorganized customer service, which i had to ask for their help 4x. I booked a handicapped room months in advance and gave my husband the last room totally away from elevators and marathon to walk with our luggage even when taking elevator. They changed our room by the way
