A tired hotel with tired staff.

A tired hotel with tired staff.

The building is lovely, but the hotel is badly in need of an update/refresh (old carpets, 1980s/1990s paint, and heavy furniture all over), and the breakfast staff on the ground floor were practically invisible when we stayed there this week. We had to ask for coffee twice and eventually had to go on the hunt for some. Our wait staff seemed uninterested in much beyond telling us that the buffet was the best breakfast option, and the food quality was not great. In the Executive Lounge the staff were very helpful but the food was deplorable: stale, stodgy pastries, puddingy yogurt, quite nasty coffee, and artificial coffee cream. Can't we serve real cream or even milk these days at Hilton?

My first day I was out at a conference from morning to 3:30 and returned to find that my room had not been touched. I sat down and then my door flew open: the maid finally arrived around 3:45! What sort of hotel experience is Hilton trying to give its guests in Fort Worth?

Great location on Main and 8th, walkable to and from a variety of points of interest. Rooms are large, quiet, and comfortable but slightly dated. Beds are comfy with lots of pillows. Only complaint is no drinking glasses were provided.

The rooms were very nice and clean the beds were comfortable the hotel is very luxurious and caters to a upper class of Society. This was the original site of the hotel Texas where our 35th President Kennedy stayed the night before his assassination the room that he stayed in is no longer in existence. My overall experience other than the price was definitely a good one it is a beautiful establishment with professional staff.

The hotel itself is nice and well located in the city. However, the ballroom that can be used as conference venue is one big freezer. It's nice and warm outside with people wearing shirts and shorts. In the ballroom we have people sitting with jackets and scarves, freezing. I even saw that some attendees brought blankets with them to keep warm. A few attendees also started to developed a cough. My hands are freezing, I forgot to bring gloves. We have been told the hotel can't control the temperature in here. Unless you host a conference on fridge/freezer combinations or winter fashion, you might want to look at other options. Rooms are really nice and can be heated, which is great. Staff is very friendly.

I have very mixed feelings on this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and has very spacious rooms. Great location as well. My complaints are the unhelpful valet staff, the blaring horns at 7 am from valet staff, and the rooms are noisy. If you stay here ask from a room on the back of the hotel, so you will not be awaken by constant car horns. Also, don't expect the valet to get you a luggage cart or assist you with luggage. Overall, it's a beautiful historic hotel and is worth a try.

I checked in yesterday and it was flawless and without any delay. The hotel location is amazing and I thought the room was big and comfortable. Now for the bad. I woke up to shower and get ready for work and noticed that the water tempature was cold and ice cold. I ran it on HIGH/HOT for 5 to 10 minutes and figured it would warm up but that never happened. I had to take the coldest shower ever on the coldest day of the year so far. I have two more nights ahead of me there and I sincerley hope that this is fixed if not I will be asking them for a room at another hotel in which they will pay for.

We were there this past weekend for a business trip and it was just okay. The rooms are neat and cleaned and the staff are friendly. There's an older gentleman who work there and he is extremely friendly and welcoming (also full of personality). Kudos to the valet workers for their hard work especially in the cold rain.

This isn't a big deal, but on their website they listed "Peter Thomas Roth amenities" (which I was actually excited about because they have amazing poducts); however, it was no where to be found but instead they provided a completely different brand. I suggest they should update their website since they're no longer offering this amenity.

My main complaint is that the ac/heating unit was so loud! On the first night I found myself waking up every 20 minutes or so. The next morning I went and talk to the front desk about the issue and the young lady told me she'll have the engineering team take a look at it and if they can't fix it they'll move us to a new room. However, nothing was done about it, which I just let it go because we only have one night left.

I do love the the executive room which they provides alot of drinks along with basic breakfast and snacks. I believed to get access to this room you must stay in a executive room (not sure).

Overall, my experience was just okay...nothing to brag about nor is there anything major issues.

**For the Hilton GM, here's the link to where it stated Peter Thomas Roth. Under "for your convience," the very last item listed on that category

Beautiful, historic hotel in downtown Fort Worth. Spacious, quiet rooms and elegant lobby. At Your Service usually picks up when you need assistance from your room, which is only helpful for front desk relations. Other than that, it is hard to connect with the party you're trying to reach.

Booked adjoining rooms for me/my husband and my 9 month old and 4 year old and found out upon arrival none available even though the reservation folks I spoke to that morning told me it was not a problem. It was aweful explaining to my 4 year old why our room was no longer available and we had to leave. Staff was less than sympathetic other than the very nice concierge who conveyed his disconcern over the issue. So disappointing.

Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth with everything within walking distance. Cheap and courteous valet parking payable by cash or card. Beautiful interior and very welcoming staff that very much so want you to feel at home and relaxed. I love it every time I come here.

Very nice hotel. I stay here for A-Kon conventions. It s a nice short walk to the convention center. They do have to valley your car sadly. I wish their was a free parking lot. But inside the hotel there is a Starbucks!!!

This is a nice hotel. Easy walk to the convention center. The room was clean, minus the bathtub having hair in it. The internet worked well in my room. The breakfast buffet was good, but was overpriced. $30 overnight (required) valet parking was a bit obnoxious. But they were really quick about bringing the car up, so that was nice.

Front desk staff was not good at all. Room was not ready when we arived at 4:30. Concerarge was very kind and helpful. Valet parking personnel were wonderful, they really tried to get your car to you as quickly as possible. I didn't like that you have to valet but that is how it is. Housekeeping and maintenance was kind. However, maybe they should not be using the elevators, especial when someone is on it. Room ac was making poping noise randomly, and was not working properly. I wouldn't suggest this hotel at all.

This place is a good choice to choose from when it comes to the lodging in overnight. I like the way that doing what I arrived for as well as being served didn't while here didn't cost too much to enjoy. If your looking for something in these parameters then this is a good place to go. Connected to this building is a Starbucks as well as a Ruth's Chris restaurant.

First company banquet dinner. Great food lovely environment--especially ceiling light fixtures. Unfortunate wait to close bar tab--somehow, despite having card in hand, my information was not in "the system," so I had an awkward wait.

Extremely old and nothing works as it should... the AC did not work properly, the tv signal was the worst I have seeing in my life and the room smells bad. Overall I give the place a 1 star hotel.

I attended a fundraiser luncheon for a local non-profit. I've attended many luncheons and conferences at various venues locally and nationally and I honestly can say this was the worst experience. Starting with the temperature; it was warm in the lobby and as we moved to the open area upstairs for appetizers it became even warmer. This was only the beginning. When the actual luncheon began the staff hadn't completed the table setup so we were standing in the hall while they pulled out tables. Still not the bad part. So here it is, the entire luncheon the wait staff made every noise possible while entering and exiting the kitchen. From dropping individual plates to entire trays. Clanging plates and glasses as they served guests. And talking to each other the entire time. Several times during the lunch the wait staff talked to each other at the back of the room not concerned that they were being loud and disruptive. I was extremely shocked by the poor service and wonder if it was purposeful. If your planning an event do not use this Hilton!

I stayed here for 4 nights. Comfy beds, huge rooms, great customer service, very clean. I personally loved the rooms decor and attention to details and comfort. Plus, absolutely beautiful views of the city. I just sat in the giant chair and watched the sunset every evening. Definitely recommend.
