The lodge is in a beautiful, peaceful location. However, we were a bit disappointed with the customer service... We arrived on Valentine's day (the day after the Family day long weekend) and were told to leave and come back several times because our room wasn't ready until about 5. We felt shooed out and didn't really know where to go or what to do considering the location... We were also sad because the pool was cold and the "hot" tub was luke-warm. When we asked for pool towels at the front they told us to find them in the pool, we went in and couldn't find any and they weren't brought down so we took our room towels down (which the staff was quick to mention was wrong when they saw us). It was also kind of annoying they kept texting us during our stay. We got pestered by the front door staff a couple times because they thought we were carrying beers around even though we had cans of bubbly water lol...
I'd like to say though that the restaurant was amazing, delicious food and quick service! It was also really cool there was a man who showed us archery. He was super friendly and nice.

It is a great property...full marks for luxury. But being a First Nation's property, we expected it to be a more inclusive towards diverse guests. I dont blame the staff as i guess the resort is not used to too many brown family or any other family of color coming for stay for vacation, i might be wrong at this just saying from our experience we didn't see any other family of color staying there in our 2 days of stay. Anyways coming to our experience, we were 2 couples staying for 2 nights and as there are no restaurants near by, resorts restaurant is ur only option. With us we were always offered the same 2 tables behind the reception desk, no matter what the time was and even if the reservation of the tables by the window is 2 hours away or even if we asked for reservation before hand..this happened all 6 times- and when this happened all the times one do realise thats its done on purpose. We ended up eating there 3 times...we were given a table on Side Window 2 times but with some or the other restriction. Anyways this is still too small to worry about as I would give them benefit of doubt as i assume they are not used to deal with Brown families, atleast I Hope servers are happy by our tips and appreciation.
The real reason I am writing this and expect you to do something is, after our checkout we wanted to go try golf in the driving range before we left...it was our first time ever, played Cricket all our lifes, just wanted to see how cricket drive is different from golf drive thats it...headed to range, realised Golf is one of the most difficult sport no matter how simple it looks. Two gentlemen saw us struggling, gave is initial tips and made us comfortable to try and learn...was awesome so grateful to them...and after like 15 mins they left wishing us the best.. Then came 5-6 drunk guys...they started playing right beside us..totally fine we doing our own thing they doing their own..then they noticed us and started humiliating us among themselves....Not directly to my face but they were constantly commenting about how bad we are at golf...making fun of us...We were taking it casually in a fun way laughing at our new experience..continued playing but then it Crossed The Line...making some witty remarks is fine we also appreciate it but not in sadist way.. you can't make remarks that in your mind make you feel superior....seeing us not reacting what so ever on their remarks, they started saying Racial slurs and passing vulgar comments about our wives...it increased that much that i felt unsafe and opted to leave that place with my family...2 of them even followed us to the putting practice range...obviously I Did NOT confront them as I didnot want to waste my energy giving someone so ignorant, basic moral lessons...But it was absolutely disrespectful incident that happened on your property and if this is what is done to people who are different and want to explore and learn about your culture, then my only advice to all those people of color is that please think twice before booking this property.
In such tough testing times like these if some episode like this happens on one of the most secure and supposedly Diverse country and area in the world...its just mind boggling...Hopefully this incident will bring out a change..please if possible then try to be a bit more Inclusive...anyways other than that had a awesome experience..as i said before it was luxury at its best...Golf is actually much tougher then we thought

Very unauthentic native experience.....no casino, like a real traditional Indian reservation would have. There used to be casinos for as far as the eye could see before the white man came , now there are few.

We went here to try the spa it was an alright massage little rushed feeling and the bed felt small. Massage was ok but have had better. The biggest disappointment as that they didn t have a blow dryer for my wet hair and no change room to get ready. My husband and I had plans after to go to the restaurant for a late lunch and I had to go with wet hair. We spent nearly $500 there in 2 hours... no blow dryer?? Other then that people at Pro Shop and the Server at the restaurant were great! Wonderful views and we hope to come back just not sure the Spa is the thing to do. Golf yes!

Restaurant is fantastic. Just made a reservation. Spoke to Gordon, very pleasant. Love the food and service. Driving in from Kamloops. Can't wait to eat my favorite wild mushroom bolognese pasta!

This was my first visit to this restaurant and it was an amazing experience. The menu was like nothing I had seen before and the food was fantastic. The staff and servers were very good. I really liked the design of the building and the decor. Next time I go I plan on trying out some of the spa services. Highly recommended!

Beautiful lake view from the restaurant. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious, soft, moist fish with crispy batter and the seasoning on the fries was enjoyable and the gravy was to die for- pork base. Yum-o! Worth the little drive. Looking forward to our next visit to try something else on the menu.

Love the setting, the staff, the ambience. Not impressed with the pared-down menu with limited selections but good was good. Hubby loves the golf course; it is rated one of the best in BC. I simply love the tranquility.

Absolutely beautiful scenery. The private access to the lake was convenient. The rooms were NOT worth the price you pay. The tiles in the bathroom were broken and there were scrapes in the walls. The service in the restaurant was horrendous. No one wants to serve you or take your order. If you want anything I suggest sitting at the bar where they can't ignore your existence.

Lovely hotel. I really appreciated that the hotel's decoration integrated first nation culture. I stayed there overnight as we passed by during a tour. The rooms were clean and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day on the road. The food was good, although a tab pricy.

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Quaaout Lodge and it couldn't have gone better, the staff was all so friendly and very accommodating to all our family tradition. The meal we had was fantastic and our hotel room was beautiful. We can't thank Wendy and Elena enough for all their hard work and making our wedding reception so perfect! We highly recommend Quaaout Lodge to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay or to have a wedding! Thank you Quaaout for making our experience so wonderful!!

The Golf course was fantastic! Great condition, good pace of play, great views, very playable. Very professional and classy set up, you really feel like your on a resort course, all the bells and whistles (newer carts with club and ball cleaners, great driving range and putting greens). Staff were friendly and helpful. Comparable experience to what we've had at 5 star course in Los Cabos. Very impressive. The only downside is we are locals and we're charged full price (my bad for not paying better attention during payment), but they definitely don't ask you this, so mention it if you are.

The Quaaout Lodge, from the moment we started correspondence to the minute we checked out, upheld a level of service and professionalism rarely seen in the service industry today. The Wedding and events Coordinator, Gillian Dent, ensured a seamless and stress free day, taking a massive weight off my shoulders. Her knowledge of the industry as well as the Lodge made planning our special day a walk in the park (or rather, a walk in their beautiful gardens).
As many know, planning any large outdoor event comes with it s challenges; primarily, weather. Staff of the lodge ensured that should worst come to worst, we had an airtight back up plan to move the wedding to an inside venue at the drop of a hat. And sure enough, it poured rain on our day. Not just a light sprinkle, no. A torrential down pour. I had my heart set on an outdoor wedding, and staff were 100% committed to making sure this bride got exactly what she wanted on her special day. Staff were not only willing to get soaked to the bone changing the linens multiple times, but also did not bat an eye when the wind knocked over and shattered several glasses. They cleaned up the glass and replaced them with new ones and also hung all the bunting without so much as a frown.
Sales Manager, Michael Collins, was ready to jump in to action at a moment s notice on the day of and fulfill any and all of our needs.
However, what are staff without a great venue? The Quaaout lodge offers a stunning and serene view of the Little Shushwap, with a long, sandy beach and gorgeous gardens. The lodge itself is made of deep and warm woods and beautiful stone. It was the perfect location to tie the knot. Our guests ranted and raved about the lavish and clean rooms as well as the welcoming and polite front desk staff that welcomed our wary travelers to the lodge. Compliment after compliment rolled in about the wait staff during dinner and the dancing bartenders were a huge hit with our party guests. Personally, my husband and I, thoroughly enjoyed the honeymoon suite champagne.
As if everything else wasn t perfect enough, the food was to die for. Everyone, my husband and I included, were enamored with the unique and mouth-watering cuisine. From our family style dinner (which included a fresh caught wild game stew-yum!) to S mores on the beach to brunch the next morning, no one left hungry or disappointed. We have Bonnie to thank for that. Her expertise ensured everyone went to bed with full and happy bellies. Speaking of the s mores, the staff member who cleaned up the beach after our late night bonfire was incredibly sweet and let us borrow his wagon to get all our blankets back up to the rooms. What a life saver after a long and busy day.
If you ve been considering the Quaaout Lodge for any of your special occasions, book it now. This is a venue you don t want to pass up. Offering thorough, knowledgeable and hardworking staff dedicated to making your day perfect in every way, you ll thank yourselves later.

Beautiful and quiet locale. Rooms are clean, classy and unpretentious. The views from the room we had at the end of the wing was amazing. It looks like the view from any room would be great.
We walked the golf course (wasnt opened yet) and the beach which were both lovely. The water of Little Shuswap Lake is crystal clear. The Kekuli and Sweat Hut were neat too.
Supper was really good. It was really busy with a conference in the dining area so we ate in the lounge off the dining menu, and our food came quickly enough. I recommend the Chartruese Platter it comes with fried bannock.
We plan on coming back soon!

We stayed one night and golfed the next day. The room was fine, the dinner and breakfast were both good, although the dinner service was fairly slow. Staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't use the pool or spa.

We really enjoyed our stay Labour Day weekend! Overall a fabulous experience. The customer service is top-notch and the facilities were clean and comfortable. Great golf course, huge quiet beach to relax on and the walkout Suites are fantastic! The restaurant was great too, the Salmon Benedict on bannock was fantastic as was the halibut at dinner. Next time I hope to try the Spa. Staff were exeptional, friendly and professional all the way.

We recently celebrated my daughters wedding at the lodge. Setting beautiful! Wedding amazing! But really all the thanks goes to our wedding planner. The lodges wedding coordinator is very unreliable. She didn't show up for the meeting she scheduled with the bride and groom 3 weeks before which gave us a heads up to how the event might just go. If it wasn't for the fact we had our own wedding planner this day, weekend would have been a complete disaster. The lodge is very disorganized when it comes to planned events. It's hard to find help or answers from any one.Everyone gives a different answer or sends you off to find the answer yourself.Thank goodness our wedding planner was a take hold kinda girl. Her and her team took hold on Saturday morning and didn't let go till Sunday night at midnight. The lodge depended on My wedding planner to organize them.Getting the reception room setup.I must say though Colin tried but he was also overworked and overwhelmed. Not a good place for a manager to be in. They had trouble keeping times straight, our rehearsal was at 6:00 they tried to move it to 5:30 or 6:30 multiple times,to the point of frustrating the bride and groom to no end. The food was delicious ,no complaints there at all and there was plenty.Room service good. Rooms were clean. Venue so beautiful!
