We were under the assumption that waterfront meant we would have a water view. Wrong! Our view was of the dome over the pool. The furniture was very old and outdated as well. The room was large and the bathroom was nice. If I had any say in these places, I would treat them like a cruise ship on land. I.e., i would send via email to all customers who reserve a room, an itinerary of what is happening throughout the casino during our stay. We had no direction of where to find anything. The pool was lovely but with so many rooms, it is far too small. Or they should have two at least. There were so many immature younger people there who just want to sit on the edge and then no one can get by to get in the pool. Needless to say, with so many other options to choose, we will not be going back to this place.

Love this place. The beds are like sleeping on clouds. The room was amazing. The staff was friendly. Love having the casino downstairs. I will definitely be coming back. And the cafe's and eatery places in Harrah's serves very good food. Check plus plus.

Our stay at Harrah's Atlantic City was less than stellar. The room appeared to have been run down with paint pieces of furniture peeling off as well as broken shower handles. The room also had an odor to it. We also had something shipped to the hotel which normally carries a nominal fee but we're charged over $100 for some boxes that they could have had shipped to FedEx for free. Many of the machines that we tried to use on property did not work or were out of service. When we checked out, I asked about having some of the charges taken off by a post or someone in the casino office and we're refused that is not a policy anymore. Sounds like the buyout is already taking place.

So I'll start by saying I gave it 2 Stars because after complaining about how badly our first room smelled they did quickly change us to another room & it was nice to have the restaurant we were going to and the spa in the same building. In general though the people at the front desk were very nice there is not nearly enough people to handle everyone in line and we had to wait almost an hour just to check in. On top of that our first room smell like dirty armpits. After we were switched to our second room though it didn't smell bad it still clearly needed an update. There were signs of wear on pretty much every surface. The carpet was all knobbly and pretty gross looking with multiple stains, way over due to be replaced. The couch was fabric and showed a lot of wear. The pillows we're small and shoved in the pillow cases in such a way that they ended up shaped like balls. There was some one else's food still in the mini fridge, and when I used it to store some liquid items it froze all of them. The bed skirts had holes in them. Lastly there were not enough outlests in the room so you had to unplug things in order to plug anything in, which doesn't work in the age of mobile phones. Hope they plan to update Harrah's it's greatly needed!

Had a good time during my stay at Harrahs. The different buildings aren t the easiest to navigate and there s a specific spot away from the front entrance to catch ride share like Uber and Lyft. That was annoying. But overall, my room was really nice.

Staff was nice BUT rooms are dirty, stairwells smell like 100 bums urinated in them at once, parking garage was disorganized and filthy, and the open restaurants were slowed and often had the orders wrong.

Walked into our room and this is what it looked like used towels, sheets a mess, toilet disgusting and trash in the trash cans . I immediately called the front desk to get someone to clean it and the lady I spoke with said she would credit my room 50 dollars and alert housekeeping right away. We waited for about 20 minutes before calling back. I guess giving us a disgusting room wasn't a priority. I spoke with a kira/kyra who got extremely nasty on the phone stating that they can't give us a time as to when our room would be cleaned as though it was our fault the room was dirty. So we decided go directly to the front desk. The front desk manager, christine who made an appoint to let us know she was the only christine that worked there, was extremely nasty as well and stated that we should have checked in before 830. She was very unapologetic and quite frankly a rude b-word without getting as nasty as she was. She was totally unprofessional and should seek employment outside of the hospitality business seeing as she doesn't care about customers and how to correctly service them when something like this happens. She then began to go on and on about a policy and confirmation email which quite frankly has nothing to do with the room I checked into being not cleaned. When I asked her to show me in the email where it said I had to check in before 830 she couldn't and when I asked her to show me where in the email it said we should be given a nasty, unclean room at check in she threw my phone down and her hands in the air and said she's done here and walked away. I'm totally disgusted not only with the room but the disgusting way I was treated. 4 star hotel? Yeah right...trash customer service and nasty rooms. I'm mad I wasted my money on this ratchet "4 star" hotel. You couldn't pay me to stay here and I'm going to be sure to contact their corporate office about the hospitality and lack there of in this terribly lacking establishment. Harrah's casino never again!

Edit: Wayne, clearly you can't read. The room I checked into wasn't clean. THE ROOM WAS DIRTY WHEN WE CHECKED IN. No worries though.

Decided to stay at this hotel and overall didn't have a great experience. I got to the hotel early, saw the kiosk for check-in instead of waiting on line. The kiosk prompt stated that I could check-in early, but would have to pay a $10 plus tax fee. I booked a renovated room from expedia and the early check-in put me in a non renovated room. Very disappointing, i suggest you do not check in early. When i brought it to the front desk attention the next day, I was told that I would be placed on a wait list for the next available renovated room. I was also told that I would not be contacted if/when a room would be ready, that would be my responsibility. How is it my responsibility for your mistake? Either way had to wait 5 hours before getting a room after I went to the front desk. This hotel has a bad policy of checking in and I would not recommend staying here.

Didnt come here to gamble..just to get away for a day with the wife. Check in was nice and speedy, staff is easy to find if needed and the restaurants are plenty..but we enjoyed eating at AC Burger, which has decent/good prices

Overpriced, bed bugs no discount offered.

When we expressed our concerns we were offered new sheets and a one hour extended check out time. It ruined my daughter's 16th birthday experience.

Good place to be in for the weekend. Very poor room service to the hotel rooms, left my room to be cleaned in the morning and came back with beds not changed but straighten up. Carpets not hovered and rooms still in the same condition I left it. Called front desk and the lady there giving me attitude on the phone. I gave them two stars because the other facilities are great and I will never recommend the hotel rooms for you. Poor management.

Just came back from a stay at Harrah's this past Saturday (02/09/2019). We were not going to stay in AC but decided to at the last minute so I went on my phone and there were numerous rooms available and five minutes later went to the front desk to check in. On check in I asked if there were any upgrades available being that I am a Caesar's Diamond Member which I was told the hotel was completely booked. Not to start an argument as I knew rooms were available because I just booked it 5 minutes prior. So you are telling me in 5 minutes the entire hotel sold out? Okay, at the same time there was another guy next to me checking in with the same status who got all kinds of upgrades and amenities. Hmm... Okay, so we go to the room and right away I knew something was not right. The entire floor was dirty (not swept), I went in the bathroom to use it and lifted the toilet and there was toilet paper and long hairs in it. We were kind of in a rush so there was no time to call front desk and get another room as we had reservations.

SO, decided to take a shower and the water did not go down at all, it completely filled up and on top of the shower on the ceiling, the ceiling was about to collapse and was full of black mold. I needed shampoo so I looked at the amenities provided on the sink for the shampoo and it was already used. How do I know this? There was water inside the cap filled up about half way. For $400 for the night and being a "valued" diamond member I would have thought we would have been taken care of better then this. Very disappointed and WILL NEVER return to stay at Harrah's in Atlantic City. We did complain when we checked out though. I have pictures which are attached in this post. Thumbs down for sure for my recent stay at this out dated hotel.

Always fun to get back to AC. Even with the Covid 19 guidelines it was fun. Just had to make sure you planned your day we'll do as not to be too inconvenienced by the guidelines...mostly with eating.

We were up on the 41st floor and this was our view. The view was outstanding, the hotel itself was wonderful, but we didn't get any maid service during our 5 day visit. Tell the front desk if this happens to you!

Loved the room - I was invited with someone else to share their room for a moment. The room was very clean. My sinuses are sensitive to cigarette smoke and I left with some congestion. The carpet and cigarette combination in the casino could be a bit distracting for sensitive people BUT ratings aren't lost for that.

We like Harrah's! The hotel has multiple towers of rooms with interesting styles in each. We had a Marina view of the ocean, Sweet! The room needed to be vacuumed but otherwise clean. Had fun at the casino also.

The room was clean and beautiful, except it had no refridgerator and had a musty smell. At check in we waited on a line for 30 minutes and then was told no rooms available at check in, yet we had a reservation. Spent another 10 minutes waiting for that to be figured out, otherwise a nice experience.

Was not notified that the pool in fact was open but by reservation. When i called, they told me it was closed. The lines to check in and out were long and somewhat unorganized. I was given the wrong room, had to go down to be given a new one. & the new one wasn't pleasant either, but we stayed. We used to really love staying here. But i think that was my last trip.

This is the only resort I stay at when I visit Atlantic City. I love the jetted tub in suites, the beautiful view of the ocean, and the heated indoor pool! There is always a happy hour going on. The staff is great. It really gives the tropical oasis vibe.

Rude and unhelpful staff. Been a Caesars rewards member for a long time and have NEVER dealt with such a difficult time. Will be looking into other casinos for all my future visits to here and Vegas.

Parking lot was plenty large. Took advantage of the self check-in/check-out. The 1st room we got was very spacious w/a nice view but the AC was lacking, blew mostly room temperature air. The 2nd room was modern N plenty of space, AC worked well. Plenty to do in the lobby or ground floor besides the casino. Overall enjoyed our stay .

Just do not stay unless you book the most expensive room

All I am going to say is that unless you pay for the best room they have. You will be disappointed. Smell of pot on the hall.
I was mortified. The picture on the internet was not the room we reserved. We stayed at waterfront for an additional charge after 2 hours of arguing. They eventually waved it. It was a convention week and they did not have many rooms available. The front desk was rude and basically you don't like it leave. I made a phone call and they offered a free upgrade but I was unaware at the very same time my husband said decided to check out. I went back up and I wanted them to know I spoke to someone who agreed to the free upgrade but it was given away. We agreed on a different room. It was so late and we were so tired we swallowed our pride and finally the notes showed up that we were offered a free upgrade. It was not about the money, it was the the fact they rented a room that needs to have a health inspector. Apparently there are people who don't mind what the to looked like. Then again they were loud and trashed and pot smell almost made me feel unsafe.

We ate at the Buffet the next night we arrive at 7:45. The cashier said they stop seating at 8 and food is no longer refilled after 8:45. I asked since it was 85$ if that meant we had to leave or they just stop continuing to keep the food from stocked. She said correct you can continue to refill if you'd like. They only seated from 4pm-8 pm. At 8:45 the hostess came around and said the buffet is now closing and they close at 9:15. It was so busy it took a while to even look at everything they offered. By the time we sat down it seemed they were saying the food is no longer being served. The entire staff ran around taking off labels and at 8:5O each the cooks had removed completely all food any food left they had still out did not have utensils to get more food. By 9 they were cleaning up as to push you out. They also continued to try and take your plate while eating and you could not even get a drink. Totally not what I asked originally. Being open for only 4 hours you'd think they included at least an additional hour to allow you to sit and relax. In all we had 10 min to eat. Others were smart and had 3 plates at once. Not that you had time to eat. For 85$ I had the 3 crab leg limit and rice and string beans. NEVER again.

The front desk manager assured me the room we were in would be put out if order. Not so sure that happened. I'm contacting the health department to file a complaint. Some picture I did not show to public. If you can use your imagination of stains on the furniture.

Unless you go for the advertised rooms at the front desk. Or these things are not a bother you are good to go

I had an amazing and relaxing stay. The pool is gorgeous with 4 jacuzzis to choose from. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I stayed in the Water tower on the 42nd floor the room has 2 big windows and the view was beautiful during the day and at night. I definitely enjoyed my stay!

Had the most wonderful time! When on the last minute ! Got the best room ! Clean customer service was excellent the food was outstanding but they need some improvement on the slots machines! Lol But the most fun was the pool after dark ! Pauly D was the DJ .. didn t no who he was but the girls around me full me in ! And the best part there is all age groups there so you didn t feel out of place I m going back Monday for New Year s Eve !

Harrah s has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When we tried to check out in the morning we were told then and only then that we could not leave because Of the Atlantic City marathon. My son missed his baseball game because of the poor communication of the hotel. When me and the 60+ people behind me hearing this for the first time got angry, the manager Kathy decided to call security instead of trying to make things better. I called today to say how rude Kathy was and I wanted to be compensated or refunded they said there was nothing they could do. I called many numbers and they all had the same story that they would forward my complaint. You are unable to be connected to anyone that can actually do something. Finally a man called me from customer service and he was rude. He basically said no one really cares and there s nothing they can do. I also truly think I was out on speaker phone and laughed at by other men in the office. I was treated so badly I still can t believe it. So all in all I would not waste any money here because of how we were treated. There are much nicer casinos very close to visit in Atlantic City!
And just realized it says free parking on the site and that s a lie. I paid $10.

I stayed 7/31-8/1. The hotel was really nice. The price was affordable and they had a casino that was very organized and had that "Vegas feel". The room was new and modern with Moen appliances and it smelled soo good. The beds were so comfortable and fluffy! I slept really well. The ONLY problem I had was that they didn't offer room service. I understand because of Covid things are limited but I feel like all of the surrounding restaurant's were serving patrons by reservation only and you had to make reservations days in advance. So I felt stuck if I wanted a simple meal. The hotel had a food court but if they offered "contact free" room service, I wouldn't have to leave the room or hotel to find food. A suggestion, if they offered room service the delivering person could knock on the room door and leave since its already paid for. That way I can have my food and everyone is safe and happy. Otherwise, five stars.

Not the Best experience. Buffet closes at 8, took our money and told us we have until 830 to eat. Who closes a buffet at 8 during the summer on a Thursday? Then went to get a total rewards card, the place was closed. Again, it s summer time, why? Took our money across the way to Ocean Casino and gambled there.

So much fun. I honestly think the pool is the best feature here. I have visited so many times and enjoyed it every single one. The music at the night club kind of sucks until about 1 am. After that the party starts and its a lot of fun. The hot tubs are so relaxing and amazing after a late night, and the pool room in general is great because it always feels nice and warm. The buffet is outstanding, and most of the food throughout, the only place I didnt really care for was the coastal restaurant. As many times as we've visited which is probably around 15 or so our last visit was the fist time we had an issue with our room. There was a roach, but the staff came moved us and comped the room for the night. It was gross, but they did everything they could to make up for it. The waterfront and bayview tower are the place to stay because the Atrium suites definitely need upgrading.

I have been coming to this place for years. However, this time was different. My husband and are currently here now. I originally booked for the Coastal Tower, but the room wasn't clean and the pillow case was clearly dirty. I changed rooms to the Waterfront and sorry I did the room is dated and needs to be updated. The parking garage is dirty which I have never seen before and the hotel needs to clean it up. Trash is everywhere. I will not be returning.

Everything was nice and sanitized in the room. My wife and I brought our own wipes as soon as we entered the room we proceeded to wipe things down like the remote, handles and fixtures. We were amazed that anything we wiped down left no residual dirt on the wipes. Gambling was safe as well with barriers on table games and socially distanced slots.

I enjoyed myself this past week at Harrah's attending at a Superbowl Party & also a Concert....!
I love Harrah's ....the rooms are so comfortable & clean and they also have nice views to the ocean and the city lights...The food at the Buffet Restaurant is excellent and has a variety of dishes for every taste...This is a good place to spend a vacation with family or your partner....There are a few stores within the casino also..!
I can't wait for my next trip to Atlantic City....this place is quite an experience..!

Very surprised how nasty the night people are at the front desk. The manager Michelle was trying but the other woman acted like it was a problem for her to do her job. Took 2and half hours and 2 rooms later to check in. Rooms need to be cleaned better.

Staying in the Watertfront as I'm reviewing this. First room was absolutely filthy with food crumbs all over floor and new clothes tags. The shower and floor in front of shower were wet as if just used. My second room has old well warn furniture, an unplugged alarm clock, unplugged lamps, lamps in need of dusting, and carpet my bare feet will never touch. Sadly this is nothing like I expected. They'd have to make major changes for me to stay here again.

I arrived last night and they didn t give me the room i booked. They told me at the front desk to take a king size bed room At the Marina when I paid for a king size bed room at the front view . So the manager gave me a room in the Marina building which was stink and not convenient. They didn t even try to do anything for me. I had to check out at 5 o clock in the morning because I couldn t take it anymore and don t worth the price I paid. I will never go back there again

Harrah s is my favorite place to stay in Atlantic City! The rooms are very up to date and they have a great selection of restaurants to dine at. The pool is such a relaxing place and you can get quick eats and drinks right at the pool.

Have had good times there but lately it is hit or miss. The last trip in August it was crowded and without many dining options the crowded lobby and casino area had families standing around . Even some children on the casino floor.

We came for Fortune Cup which is still advertised on the website but the game was removed over a year ago from the floor. This was a bummer.

Rooms are nice but worn. Certainly I m need of renovations.

We paid for Water View but did not have a view of ocean or any water for that matter. I would clarify floor and realistic view expectation before paying the up charge.

Most of the buffers and restaurants were closed on the Sunday night. I know it was Sunday evening, but I thought this was strange given that the hotel was at 90 percent occupancy.

Late night snacks are lacking. They have a pizza joint and sandwich shop which close prior to my usual time of drink munchie onset. They have a deli with coffee, tea, some premade sandwiches and desserts. But certainly lacking in meeting those late night cravings.

The pool is great. By far the best part of our stay in December.

The room was 80 dollars after taxes. Which is the only reason I gave the second star - it wasn t a bad value.

Good luck!

Nice hotel but it could use some more stores in here. Terrible very very terrible bad casino to play in. You won't win here so u won't be having fun. If u wanna have fun and actually win something go to Tropicana resort. You actually have more chances in winning on any slot machine there. Harrahs is the worst casino iv ever been in. They should allow guests to win and not just take take take take from every guests.

It was okay. The hotel room is OKAY nothing fancy or special.. if your looking for something luxury I would go to oceans or borgata... it is clean the rooms so I would give them credit for that. The pool was closed even tho they said on the weekends it s specifically supposed to be open.. so was very upset about that since I stayed Friday-Monday with no swimming at all. The food options are okay. The casino floor is nice with a lot of slot machines and free drinks. Overall it was as OK experience. Would I come again? Probably yes if it was the only nicer hotels that had availability. I would definitely pick more of the luxuries ones over this 100x more. But if your not looking for anything fancy just a clean room with a casino then this place is for you.

Stayed for a conference in August 16/17 in the Waterfront Tower...best place to be! The other towers are old fashioned and reeked of an old moldy smell and smoke. Nice restaurant selection, my fav was McCormick and Schmicks! Smoking indoors, Gelato shop, Guy Fieri's place, awesome indoor pool that is a club after 8pm. Wonderful views of the ocean...right across from the island of Brigatine!

My reservation was made 2 weeks in advance. When i arrived, i checked in at the front desk, then proceeded to my room. As soon as i entered my room i opened the refrigerator to place beverages in it only to find 3 bottles of partially dranked beverages. I was appalled being as though this is the season of COVID19 and it's extremely important that facilities are thoroughly sanitized. Since the refrigerator wasn't cleaned, it made me question if the sheets, etc. was cleaned. I was truly disheartened. Please check your room thoroughly before settling in.

Harrahs Atlantic city has a friendly, accommodating staff. Only disappointment was the pool. Water was not clean, dirty cups on the pool floor from the night before. The floor around the pool area was not hosed down. It was sticky, dirty. But I would definitely go back to the hotel/casino.

Book a dog friendly room online. Drove three hours to Atlantic City and when we went to check in the employee asked how much does my dog weigh. I told her 60 pounds. She responded that there is a limit for 50 pounds and I can t stay there and there s nothing they can do. She told me it s written on the site but I did not see it anywhere, and I booked directly. I asked if there was any way to make an exception and there wasn t. She was not kind about it either. It seemed like there wasn t any compassion in her voice and just wanted to rush me along. 0 chill.

Used to love this place but have one major complaint now: waiting in the line has become unbearable at Harrah s. Whether it is checking in, the buffett, elevators, the cafe, casino cashier cage, etc.... the lines have gotten to the point where it ruins your trip. Sad thing is that in most cases it is easily correctable by adding more staff. Place is going downhill.

This is an overall very nice and well kept casino. The best part about this casino is the Harrah s Pool after dark. I don t know what they put in the drinks but they are exceptionally well made. It s some kind of cherry vodka drink mix that is really strong and doesn t cost too much money. $5-10 range for mixed drinks. I m sure if you go there you will find something that fits you re budget. Not many people go swimming in the pool but if your not safe you might fall in and get all wet! If you do this you will have the time of your life. I recommend going here simply for the pool. As long as you don t have kids with you you will be fine. If you have kids this casino is not for you. It s for couples and singles ready to mingle!

I'm pretty sure you won't appreciate my review. It was one fiasco after another. First and foremost, cockroaches in the Harbour Tower. Very poor service and complete lack of customer service. I'm still trying to deal with the hold on my account because they can't get together on anything. When you call, be sure you have plenty of time to waste because you are not important to them. Your call will be transferred from coast to coast because they don't want to deal with the problems they created. I will never set foot in this hotel again, nor any of it's affiliates. Just disgusting!!!
