Harrah's Resort Review

Room had black mold around windows and in bathroom. Casino was nice. Shops weren t very accomplishing.

Great Place for a getaway with Family and Relaxation. I love the Seafood Buffet and the place is always clean. The Customer Service is on point never had a problem. I would recommend a Stay at Harrahs Resorts & Casino. The rooms are beautiful and the House keeping people are very courteous.

As far as a family hotel I give a 0-1 I went to with the intention of allowing my kids to enjoy the beautiful indoor pool only to go and be completely disappointed that no one under 21 not allowed in the pool. I had No idea. I ve been to the pool as a club and enjoyed the atmosphere and was only hoping my kids could enjoy the same atmosphere NOPE. Front desk didn t care or even want to accommodate my needs at all! Extremely disappointed. Then the WiFi only allows two people to use free WiFi and that they charge! To me ridiculous!

Our go to for a quick romantic weekend. We love the pool and I recommend Coastal Craft Kitchen. Amazing seafood and high quality!

I haven't really been over there for a while so yes I did go played for hours had dinner good food by the way there is a casino where you want to visit

I enjoyed this hotel so much. The rooms where nice and clean. Had a big variety of store and restaurants. Casino was also nice. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Harrahs! We had a blast at the pool parties each night, so much fun celebrating my best friends birthday there. Although it was packed since other people from other resorts want to attend the pool party as well... you ll still have fun. The restaurants in resort vary my favorite being McCormicks who has delicious food and drinks. The view from our room to the pool was so cool, our rooms were clean and nicely decorated. There is a cafe there that sell burgers and pizza until late for the drink nights lol

Stayed in the waterfront suites and had a fantastic time. The suite is spacious, clean and very has great views.

Good atmosphere and food. Drinks are always different never consistent. Hotel rooms are ok some are renovated and some havent been and are stuck in the early 90's.

Friendly Staff at reception. Mecca was very friendly and helpful. We received an upgrade to a suite. Very nice room!!! But as it was 12am and we were extremely tired we did not complain that it was a smoking room. We just closed the door from the bed room so it was okay. But can't use the whole suite as of the smell.... but... nice hotel and the room itself was very nice too. Thank you!!

Our room at the bay view tower was amazing, and the bed was super comfy ! The pool vibes were awesome and the bar servers were great ! The check in and check out process is horrible just because of how busy the place is ! But over all I enjoyed my stay, thank you.

This place is utterly horrible! Poor service and the shower wasn t working properly. It wasn t what we expected far from the pictures we saw. Nothing like it. We had a room for 5, and they were not enough towels. I was told I had to ask for more. Why not have more towels just Incase? I suggest you spend your money elsewhere.

Love harrahs, clean, beautiful rooms that overlook the bay or the inlet and ocean! Great places to eat and shop!

This place is cool for young people to go to the rules are so silly at this place. I was dressed very nice with a suit with a vest and the security guard told me to take my vest off and put it at coat check I don't think what you wear should have to do with clubbing and having a good time spending money on high price alcohol. As I finally get back on the line to check in back in the club I seen some guys still have their suit jackets on which is a blazer I don't understand the rules and I don't think that it is fair. The club was cool but the DJ sucked this is my reason why the DJ sucked. He was playing good selections of music but every time he cut to the next song it was too short and the next track really did not blend in I'm not sure if I would go back to this place again.

This was probably the worst hotel I ve ever been in. Drove 7 hours to come to Atlantic City as a weekend trip (august) and stay here requested a nice room and the pictures of this hotel look great online but in person it s just a disappointment.(looks/feels run down/ not clean) Front desk staff at check in were extremely rude. Anyway once I got to my room it smelled strong of weed. There was food in a chair and a large stain up the bed sheets. Long story short got a full refund after complaining and checked out of the hotel within an hour of being there.

Although covid is part of my total complaint about my recent stay, I don't think the guest/gamblers should be expected to, kinda cover/bail out this property. The elevators were a mess, no daily room cleaning or fresh towels. Really disappointed.

I had a blast in this resort. Great service, lovely building inside, fun casinos and the casino staff was top notch.

The rooms were updated and clean. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful Waterfront on 45 fl suite off the ocean what site stay the weekend at pool

We aren t gamblers or people that prefer resorts, and sprang here on a whim at the last minute. It has the features one wants from a quality hotel: nice amenities in the room, a solid fitness center, a luscious pool, a satisfying bar or two. It also has many resort features: gift shops, a bakery, many upper tier restaurants, a sort of fast casual-ish section of dining options a cut above a mall food court. The mall vibe is strong, but the nature of the casino gives it a strong 1970s vibe - the carpeting, the crowd, and the games seem to double down on a nostalgia for big muscle cars, indoor smoking, and a kind of pre-luxury Vegas.

We made the mistake of booking a room not understanding that the kid s arcade isn t well equipped for families (very small number of choices) or that the amazing pool was 21+ during winter months (why all day!?), and that the kids pool was totally closed. Then a pool rep sent us to Caesar s to swim there, but when we got there they wouldn t let us in without booking a room. Lesson: read the fine print. Harrah s isn t a great place to do non-gambling things for families during the winter. Pretty obvious I m sure to all but us.

Having said that, we had an incredible dinner at Veracruz, and we were so glad they were open Sunday for the Xmas holiday week. Probably the best other memorable part of the trip were the employees: everyone was super friendly and that level of service and smile was greatly appreciated. The ability to order movies in the room also turned out to be valuable.

My suggestion for the resort is to follow the Vegas turn from the 90s: go beyond gambling and pitch policies and amenities to some families looking to escape the city during the cold months.

We went to the buffet it was really good and taste great nice variety of food

It was nice and modern. Very well lit the casino is nice and easy to navigate. I do not like the parking fee as golden nugget didnt have it. Oh well that seems to be normal. The buffet at night was 35 which was pricey other than that everything was good. Had a good time

No temperature check like many other Atlantic City Casinos. Much less safety precautions. Many slots not 6 feet apart as recommended. Didn't feel completely safe

My 1st time at Harrah was an ok experience.. my room was dirty and dusty there was dust all over.. as if no one has cleaned it in months... then we found out the family Center was closed for the weekend which doesn't help when you have 2 toddlers and an adult pool there not allowed in... over all.. I won't do a family trip to Harrahs.. it's more suitable for adults...

The Pool After Dark is a Joke!!! JaRul, was supposed to be there at Midnight and never showed. The dress code is no sneakers and tee shirts..most of the younger kids wore that. Then it was just girls bent over grinding on each other. No Respect!!!! If your married don't go to the Pool at Harrah's...Stay Away.

Clean hotel. Great to gamble had me a lovely weekend with family. I can't wait to go back.

My first casino and I really enjoyed every experience I had. From the room to the party and games, everything was nice. Definitely going again to bring friends and family

Went to see Legends in Concert. Excellent show!! And the venue was on the small side, which is great! Singers and dancers (they never stopped!!) were very talented. Fun night!

Difficult to win , and very easy to lose, full stop

Casino buffet is getting worst. No varieties seafood. Worst than a college cafeteria. Whoever in charge the cooking and food management, definitely not up to par. Food are over cook, crab cake extremely salty, noodle soup are far from ok. Nothing is cook well, except the roast beef. Will never eat in harrahs again

Nice atmosphere, beautiful decor. I like the hotel and casino. Had dinner at the buffet, it was decent for the money, steak was tough, shrimp were over cooked some food was over seasoned. I would visit again.

Had a wonderful Mother's Day outing at the Waterfront Restaurant today! Food and service eere exceptional !! This was our third year celebrating there,.....see you next year@! Oh, and bring back the crab legs, really missed them!!

Absolutely terrible, cocktail waitress could obviously care less to attend to patrons, three different waitress to be exact, Bell desk was unattended upon looking to leave and claim our coats, ended up waiting only to another member of staff dismiss us by the hand up telling us they got cameras in the back, and upon leaving looking for a cab, was told by the valet on staff....to just walk down the sidewalk, around the corner to the parking garage and maybe there would be cabs waiting in there....... extremely dissatisfied.

Nice hotel. Lot of amenities, pool, bars, restaurants...
We asked for a non-smoking room and it was almost good, as the bed sheets were smelling cigarette.
Beside that, good time

Nice hotel! Make sure to get your players card for FREE parking to all the other casinos, had to leatthe hard way $5 each time. Also i got good luck on out first machine...

I stayed at Harrah's for a trade show November 13th thru the 15th. I was very dissatisfied with the room. The first room I had was nasty , it had stained carpets and was absolutely gross. They then switched me to a second room also in the marina tower which would of been nice 10 years ago, also very worn down, it just didn't feel clean. I went down to the front desk and complained again then they upgraded me (with a charge ) to the re renovated bayview tower. This was considered an upgrade and at first glance the room seemed clean. I didn't notice too much of anything until my second day there. I then noticed a bug crawling across my bed. I took a picture of it and brought it down to the front desk and voiced my concerns about the bug. I also captured the bug in a baggie and showed them. They were responsive and noted it on my account. They did comp me for the one night only, and at that point I didn't realize that it was a bedbug. I got home and did some research and guess what, it's a bed bug. Be warned the place is dirty and has bed bugs. I then called back and asked to file a formal complaint. I am concerned that I may infest my house. I was told someone would contact me to address the issue within 24 hours. Guess what no response. Bad business, dirty hotel with bed bugs, stay away

The hotel took zero precautions after the state let casinos open. Based on guidelines for opening, the hotel was supposed to be operating with reduced capacity. Upon our arrival, we ended up parking on the fifth floor of their six floor parking deck and walked straight in. No temperature check, no control over who is coming in, masks seemed optional, and no one was enforcing the ban on smoking. Enter at your own risk. You will be entering Chernobyl by coming to Harrahs.

What a horrifying experience from the gate. The check in line was so long that we went to to the express check in and after waiting in that line was told our room was not ready although it was 9pm. We gave it some time and went through the process again. After being sent in the opposite direction and carrying our luggage across the hotel we finally got to our room and it was not the room I booked so we went to the front desk and got switched to the correct room. When we got to the room there was a roach in the bathroom. Needless to say we left. Would not recommended!!

a little disappointed this time. the pool was closed. there was an issue with my room but quickly straighten out. there is still only 3places open to eat. I go to relax and swim and they should notify guests while booking that the pool is closed.

I booked 3 nights in July 2019 via Expedia. I stayed there with my mom. Our stay was AMAZING!! We did not want to leave. The hotel(resort) and our room were super clean. We were in the Coastal Tower with 2 Queen Beds. The staff was very nice and helpful. We could not believe that we only paid 57$CAN per night (breakfast included) for such quality. There is valet service (which is worth taking unless you want to be doing A LOT of walking), a bunch of restaurants, an indoor pool, a gym with internet access on the machines, and so many more commodities. The hotel (resort) is only a short drive away from the boardwalk. I would definitely love to go back there!

This a wonderful Resort and very nice and friendly extremely clean and a lot of cleaning staff in the casino floor and there is a hand sanitizer station located everywhere. Love it very happy we stay at Harrah's Resort and and Casino.

I really enjoyed my stay. The suite was really nice. I will be returning.

Parking garage was filthy. Dirty Room. Stains on sheets, stains on curtains. Floor wasn't vacuumed. Bathroom had debris on floor. No free Wi-Fi. Limited food availability...not at all what I expected compared to other Atlantic City hotels. Disappointed.

Food is horrible! Everything smells like cigarettes!

Stayed in the water tower, 2 nights . Very dirty!!!! Looked as if. It hadn't been vacuumed , very dusty between the bed and night stand , looked as if someone had spilled candy that was left! Water in shower wouldn't go down, blowdryer wasnt working, almost caught fire! Definitely not worth a next visit!!!

Harrah's was a decent experience overall (customer service, Starbucks for my hangover, fun games), but I have to wonder if Atlantic City would be more successful is they reduced the cost of their accommodations. Who can afford full price? With fees and taxes, the room shown here was approximately $600 for 1-night in JANUARY! We we're able to get it reduced with accumulated poker points, but it's nothing special... If we had paid full price, I would have been seriously disappointed and would not have had additional money to gamble, eat or drink. The room did include free WiFi and reduced self parking which I gave an additional star for. Come on AC, we want to come and enjoy, we just can't drop $1k on one, mediocre night...

A very beautiful club, it's super fun, I had the best birthday ever!! The pool is heated so don't worry about temperature and yes you are allowed to take a dip. Seating is highly expensive, a booth is about the price of a NYC 2 bedroom apartment. The drinks are affordable and there's usually a live performance. There's a beautiful bathroom and the vibe is very friendly.

Beautiful resort, large selection of slots, clean, nice restaurants, nice rooms, very friendly security staff. I really enjoy going there!

Good place to stay. Very good restaurants. However, I suggest you call when making reservation to see if any convention are scheduled in your tower. There was a very large high school entrepreneur group for part of our stay. Caused many delays in elevator use as their schedules seemed to let everyone out at same time. We waited one afternoon over 10 minutes waiting on line and another 5 minutes the next morning.

I was here for a business convention. It would have been more fun if I was on vacation. However this is the only A/C hotel I have stayed at that you have to pay for parking. Front desk said it was free but it was not.

I absolutely loved the bathroom!!! It was gorgeous and spacious. The air in the room was not cold enough. I had it on 65, the lowest, and it was just cool in the room. Harrah's has to do something about the microwave situation. I just don't understand why every room doesn't have a microwave in it!!! I hate a room with no microwave in it. We did the buffet place for dinner. It was $35 pp. The food was excellent and a lot of seafood options.

Just got home from my 2 day stay at Harrahs. Wonderful time. My host Sonny set up my hotel stay and dinner reservations. He also found me on the casino floor to check in with me. He is the best! Some of my complaints that I have never had have to do with the casino dealing with the virus. A lot of the hand sanitizers were empty. Also the rule about only 4 people on the elevator was never enforced since no one was there to watch people on the elevator. For a Tuesday and Wednesday night it was more packed then I have ever seen. At around 10 or 11:00 it got mobbed and the restaurant AC Burger was packed with around 50 people in a long line and no one was 6 feet apart and no one enforced it. Also upset that they don t have the total rewards bus running to the boardwalk. I had to take the jitney which was packed and took about 40 minutes to get to Ballys.Also when you enter you got to read a sign about the virus and say yes your not infected. They should take your temperature like I hear Hard Rock does. I saw around 12:00 at night people came through the bay walk doors and walked pass two virus enforcers talking away ignoring people coming in. If you are allowing more than four people on the elevator, open Martaranos. Also put on your website that there is no valet parking, room service and the VIP isn t open. I waited half an hour for them to open and never showed up. Put a note on the door if it s not open. Love Harrah s just think they have to modify what they are doing during this pandemic.

I've stayed here twice this summer, all of the staff I've interacted with were great. I highly recommend staying at Harrah's, especially the Waterfront Tower rooms.

They need to up date the place i was not happy at that hotel

If there were two sets of stars I d do that. The rooms themselves were absolutely beautiful, no issues there. Where the issues come in are in the staff/pricing. Booked through Priceline for a great rate, plus the resort fee of 32.27. Room More

Was attending a convention. It was a really far walk from the self park. Services, including food and drink, were excellent. The facilities were clean and easy to find. I don't gamble but the casino floor looked great. Did not like how much smoke drifts out of the smoking section.

Good food, you will find something for everyone, great ambiance if swimming your thing there the pool mine is casino.

The party is at Harrahs if that's your thing ..Harrah's is the Turn up..

Hotel room door had a broken door hinge. Had to slam door to shut it. Bath tub was clogged up. Every time we showered, there was shin deep water in the tub. Parts of the bedding seemed unwashed.

First in here and it was amazing despite some major issues on my room but the staff was amazing and I am totally gonna come back...I decided to come here and celebrate my 28th birthday.

The rooms are decent. My favorite towers are the new Laguna, Bayview & Waterfront. I really enjoyed the pool. Great restaurants, gaming

I stayed in the Marina Tower and it was horrible. First, the shower didn t work properly.The tub filled with water while I was taking a shower and since that happened everything would get wet. The rest of the bathroom is old, but still good. Next, the beds had little disgusting pecies in the beds that I would watch out for. The beds are also uncomfortable and cold. Finally, everything else is okay (I guess) but I wouldn t recommend it for more modern people.

Horrible experience. Requested a room with an ocean view, received a room of the dome and a car lot in Bayview Tower. Traipsed back down to the front desk to request a room change, ocean view remember. Told there are no ocean view rooms in any tower. I requested the Manager. A male peeks out and runs back in. No manager came out to speak to me, instead I was given a room in the Coastal Tower on the 16th flr. A view of the marsh where the shower water accumulates more outside the shower stall than in. Not even staying my full stay, leaving early. Supremely Disappointed in Harrah's staff and management!!

Be very careful during checkout, we were charged for long distance calls of $152.43 when we never touched the phone. We have not at this time been able to get them deducted from our bill.

Very small pool for anyone under 21 which is why the hotel is not as kid friendly as they make it seem.
The pics shown of he very nice pool with plants and all is of the 21+ one which is great!
The resort is made up of the casino by more than half of the proportion. Also, there are a lot of great restaurants and a buffet ($45/person) with a variety of options.
