Harrah's Resort Reviews

The entire casino just smelled like cigarette smoke. We stay at Harrah's every time we are in Atlantic City and the smoke has never been this bad. Plus, they are using some sort of deodorizer and it is making the whole thing worse. It just smelled like chemicals and cigarettes. We could not stay there and gamble, we went to another casino so we could enjoy ourselves. I emailed the casino and told them how we felt and they just said sorry, but hopefully you'll be back in the future. Well, I was hoping they would make good on the whole thing but they did not. So, no Harrah's, we will not be back!

Checking in and out was easy using the kiosk, bar tenders and workers very helpful and friendly, room was clean and comfortable, stayed on the 21st floor waterfront. It was our anniversary and first time visiting, would have been perfect if it didn't snow and rain Sunday night because there was nothing at the hotel...they told us we had to catch a shuttle to another hotel on Sunday nights and we were only their for one night...pool was warm, if u like to swim definitely a place to stay, hot tub was kinda crowded so we didn't stay in long. Overall we had a good time. Oh and don't forget the buffet...dessert bar is off the chain awesome...lol we would definitely go back again but not on a Sunday night.

I did a call for ask some question about they pet policy and other question and the employee was so rude, really, rude, maybe because my english is not perfect but I can understand pretty well, after I did a reservation to me and some friends and I tried to cancel it due covid again, the employee was rude, never again I will try to go to this place.

It was a wonderful experience. All went well from start to finish.

I was checking in a group and we had to wait there for more than an hour. Their excuse was that was the night swift. AT 22.00.The porters never pick up the prepaid luggage. Rooms are not that clean. The staff seems to care only for tipping. Just want your money at the casino. Don't go.

The resort was really great. The pool and the place around it were beautiful. Great place to visit for parties or just to hangout.

It was very dirty, from the parking lot ,the restrooms as well as the hotel room. Even though my room was comped I will not be going back.

The room was nice but dirty, no towels or wash clothes, hair in the shower, cracked and pealed seams around the tub. Newly renovated hot mess of a room. Food looked good but watery mac n cheese, dry baked chicken, the fish was great and stale yet pretty cake.

I enjoyed my time there. The resort has slid down to 5 on my Atlantic City list

The hotel and casino were pretty great. We had a good time there. The hotel was clean, though I did notice one of the sheets was ripped in the corner.

The casino floor was also a lot of fun and very busy. Bartender was responsive and made a drink for me quickly.

I was very happy this place had accommodations for dogs. This is why I chose this hotel. The only people is: there is no rule on discipline for your dog. A lot of people clearly bring untrained lapdogs that bark ALL day at nothing. The floor we stayed on 3rd floor) literally sounded like a dog pound during the day when the dog owners were gone.

I don't blame the hotel for the untrained dogs, but I do blame them for nothing having a policy for people to tend to their annoyingly loud dogs. Another hotel I was at had the policy of "no unattended pets in the room". This made sure the hotel stayed quiet. That is the only reason I'm deducting a star.

The front desk and the room was the only nice thing. The night time manager was very short on the phone and not helpful. The rewards bus wait time was beyond ridiculous.

Waterfront tower rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Easily the best place we've stayed in town. There is no shortage of activities on site, and several great places to eat and drink. I'm not into gambling but the short time I spent in the casino was enjoyable. You can order drinks at the slots and the servers were all very friendly.

Checking in was very efficient..the room was great.. room service excellent and quick.. Coastal craft food and service excellent.Diamond club food and staff wonderful as always.

Harrah's one my favorite places in AC. We didn't stay overnight this time, but we enjoyed the casino. We also come here for the restaurants. The celebrity chef restaurants are top notch. Great food and loads of action on the gaming floor. Lots of great great choices for machines. Saw a lot of new ones this time.

No temp checks, always loose there, use to be our favorite, not so much any more.

We were put in the older tower and our first room had a bug in the shower. Moved us to another room in same tower... This room awarded me a dirty pillow and black mold across the windows. I was out of energy to ask for another room. The room service menu literally had a layer of dirt on it from people's hands. The whole place just had a sad dirty feel to it. I'd recommend staying anywhere else in AC. I've been to other nice Harrah's properties and this was a big let down. The staff seemed bothered to help you. No one even said sorry for the bug being in the room. Must be that regular of an event.

We had a tough time checking into the room, but overall got what we paid for. Good room, the casino is huge and entertainment abounds. The pool after dark was "lit" lol.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
We had no cold water at bathroom sink and shower. Waited two hours for maintenance and they never showed up. Had to call front desk for assistance and they kept insisting on sending maintenance but it was late so we asked to change rooms. They told me to come to the desk to get new keys and I informed them that we are on the other side of the hotel and could they send a bellman up with the new keys. We waited 45 min and no keys. Called back to the front desk and they said the keys were sent sometime ago. The desk agent said she would look into it immediately. Another 20 min and at almost 10:30 pm a bellman finally arrived. We were finally able to catch 5 hours sleep before having to catch our flight.

We had a block of rooms booked for our wedding for ourselves as well as our bridal party. Everyone enjoyed their rooms and had a great time at the casino. The bars are fun and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

Clean and plenty to do! Dealers are nice as are the bartenders I encountered especially at AC Burger Company

Don't think as a new casino member that Harrah to give out any money promotion because they don't instead they offered $10 towards a bar drink. They smoke on the casino floor as a non smoker I had no place to run to . I now became a second hand smoker ...the buffet was not what I read about they took off the crab festive because it cost alot to give out. I paid $34 per person the food was really salty ...come experience the Harrah experience...good luck.

U cant ever Win here! Not a lot of plain restaurants. Just a few that arent of good quality. They have averaged priced good place a burger place. Unsure of name. Thats fair.

Horrible services. Just horrible... even with speaking to the "manager" a simple request for extra towels turned into 24.. and counting.. hours.. calling the front desk and then walking to speak in person does nothing... manager talking abt shift change... wht does tht hv to do with me... the guest.. i would hv rather heard we're out.. or no.

I had the best time at Harrahs in Atlantic City! The boardwalk was awesome!!

We had a great time! Did not need to leave the resort for anything. The food was outstanding and the establishment was kept extremely clean. The staff always had service with a smile from the bell hop too the food staff too security personnel. The only complaint was the room we stayed in states water view.... all we saw was a very big puddle. But still a 5 star review because everything was flawless. We will most definitely return. Only regret was not going to the pool, which looked amazing BTW.... and joining the players club to receive perks. We also saw a comedy show " Tape Face" and had lots of laughs. I would recommend stopping by or staying the weekend here. You won't be disappointed!

It started off bad. When we missed our flight and had to pay extra to ensure that our reservation would stand we thought it work out. However when I went to check in Harrah's, we were informed that our reservation had been cancelled and they didn't have any availability, This was told to me by the supervisor James Brown. And I knew different. This is a 16 story hotel with three different casinos. I had to call A main director in Las Vegas to. Get a room!!

Nothing more I can say than terrible! Do not waste your time or money at this casino. Never take a charter flight to there. Everything is cheap and terrible. Go to Vegas and stay somewhere else

My favorite casino in AC. Excellent restaurants. I have great luck on their tables. The Pool After Dark is still the best night spot & the rooms are fantastic. Lots of good memories here.

Great times! I went to see Paul Reiser's show, which was great and relatable!

Stayed in a complimentary room (as a get-away gift). The room was adequate. I was impressed with pet accommodations.

This place is pretty MILD during the DAYTIME, however it comes ALIVE@nite especially during Thurs-Satur I love to PPL watch&take in the Atmosphere The Buffet is 1 of the BEST HANDS DOWN YOU ALSO GET REALLY FABULOUS RELAXING VIEWS FROM YOUR RM. THERE ARE SEVERAL THINGS TO DO WITHOUT Leaving THE RESORT I ENJOY THIS PLACE ACCOMPANIED&SOLO

Room was clean and bed very comfy. AC kept the room nice and cool but it was damp. Like the humidity from outside was inside. Harrah's restaurants have good food but be mindful the buffet closes at 8:00

We saw Colin & Brad at Harrah s AC this weekend. The show was absolutely hilarious! I could not stop laughing. My only complaint was they had music blaring right outside door. People would get up constantly for drinks/bathroom and they couldn t be quick getting in and out. So the music would go over the comedians, little distraction.

No stars at all their customer service is horrible and they do not work with their customers at all. I called for a $49 rate that was offered online and they said sorry it's $139 and then change the online rate to $159 onine. They tried to say their rates change less then every 30 seconds. My choice stay somewhere else that is not owned by harrahs. COMPLETELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH ANY CUSTOMER.

Clean, fun, good customer service, nice rooms, we'll put together casino.

False advertisement!
They should seriously mention the fact that the awesome pool that they show in pictures is for 21 and older ONlY! They have this tiny gross pool for families who have children under that age. We pay the same amount of money as everyone else. We should at least get a bigger pool, that isn t so gross. I can t believe I ve wasted my money staying at this hotel. Never again will I book with them.

Nice accommodations, but the WIFI is terrible. It is slow and I had to call and have them register my computer twice. I don't think I would stay here again.

We normally stay at Harrah's Bayview or Waterfront Towers. There were no smoking rooms available in those towers so we got rooms in the Atrium Suites. The rooms are outdated and we had to run the hot water for 10 minutes before we could shower.

Disappointing. Ladies' room with not only no toilet paper, no toilet paper holder in one case. Asked for room with a view and overlooked roof tops. Diamond-level player seems to mean nothing anymore. With each visit seems like one is less valued. Keys on poker game in back bar are filthy, and on and on. Just disappointing.

Pool is cool. Food is fabulous and the games are awesome. Come to Harrah's and leave fully refreshed and reengineered for life...

place was very clean the room was very clean the staff is very nice I needed an iron to iron my clothes and the staff brought it right up immediately

Appreciate free shuttle to and from the train station. Rooms are nice except ours had a dirty used coffee cup on the floor and a chewed piece of gum stuck on the rug! Lots of gaming available but lacks severely in food and sundry services plus Guest Rewards desk was closed most of the time. Prefer Harrah's Cherokee much more!

Yeah...The greatest night club in Atlantic City..! We went on Christmas weekend and had a great fun over night. That was my first night club pool party. It was so awesome..!

Amazing lightings, Amazing big pool and Amazing DJ .

The crowd was pretty much big on that day.. but still that was an advantage .. Highly recommending..!

Could be better... Checked in and was given a different room with a broken seal... Had to go back and was told the room I originally reserved was not available. So went from a king to a queen bed... the bedsheets had wheel markings, lipstick stain, some sort of brown stain... and the little seat in front of the bed also had a stain...no fridge... no microwave... no coffee maker....which online says has it.... very disappointed.

This one of my homes away from home they got everything you want all in one spot couldn't ask for more than that

Nice place, but the atmosphere is more for young people who want to party all the time. Great for partying. Customer service needs to improve.

I booked a room for a weekend to see a concert. The concert was canceled due to COVID 19. I was told I could not get a refund. This is not right to not refund people with everything going on. I am not working right now and could use the money. Nobody on the phone could help me. Would never stay here.

The outside view not that great but the hotel is nice. And the pool area really nice! Nice sunset view

Sleepless night and not for a good reason.
The beds were miserable, the pool had someone's weave floating in it and trash everywhere. The casino area was nice and well kept.

Parking is bad. More tables could be open. No shielding like other casinos during this pandemic.

This place has good ambiance and the food is well seasoned. The drinks are delicious and the staff are well informed.

Sweet place to stay cheep in winter. Eat at Borgatta for $8 taxi ride.

Enjoyed the slot machines. Played for a while both winning and losing. Lost at the end but has a good time.

They upgraded us free of charge beautiful hotel. They have a lot to do especially if your an adult. Family fun is ok too just go during peak months so you can enjoy family pool. They have a small arcade that was ok too. Also they had a refrigerator.

Very disappointed when I come to a casino I do not want to be approached by anyone especially a stranger. There is no security at Harrah's especially in the central populated areas where there are a lot of people. I mean NOT ONE GUARD. there are stragglers walking around. Shame on Harrah's they should do better than that for people making a trip to their Resort. The security that they have are patrolling empty area of the casino.

Not very satisfied with the service we received it was supposed to be a special occasion being it was my birthday and my bf booked a king size room.....i seen that check in was until 8pm so i called and noted the account the lady on the phone stated it would be held for us.... we then arrived and our room was no available to find out that we had to take a two bed queen size instead very disappointed in the fact that it should have been saved for us especially because it was almost finished being paid for we only had 30 dollars more to pay at the counter

Oh buddy where do I start? Shoot it is too much to type the resort is great. Depending on what type of room you got it can be even better. I will say this about checking in. I absolutely hate the fact that you have to walk thru the whole darn casino just to get to the check in desk. We had a 10hr drive to get to Harrahs so we were not as presentable as we would have normally been. Not only that you have to drag your luggage thru the casino too. Maybe there is a better way.. but if you do self parking and are coming from the parking deck that seems to be the only way. It was so many other people in our situation too. But other than that loved everything about this place.
I will say cleaning staff could do a little better when it comes to the bathroom in our room. Our shower head was moldy, and certain areas could be wiped down more. BUT I am not too harsh on judging them for that bcuz I don't know the time limit they have to clean those rooms. Our bathroom was a pretty big size with a garden tub and a stand alone shower. So given that the room was a pretty big size and the bathroom too.. I'm sure small things get over looked bcuz of time restriction. But it wasn't a deal breaker for me bcuz I own my own cleaning company and I always bring my own cleaning supplies and tidy up rooms that we stay in.
Our room was nice.. the only downside about the rooms is they don't have microwaves. And i guess that is so you can order a hot meal from one of the restaurants in the resort. Which is fine until you save some of your food for later.. and then decide to eat it later but now your food is cold. The room does come with a mini fridge tho.
Resort is decorated lovely. Im guessing decorations of your wing is according to what type or class your room is in (I'll try and upload my snapchat video later). We stayed in the Bay View Tower. The hotel is also updating rooms and areas.
The casino.. it is huge!! So many tables and machines to pick from. Also when playing at this casino drinks are free. If you are playing on a machine there is a little touch screen that displays your information.. and you can also order your drinks, or etc from that screen. Be sure to tip your server after all you are drinking for free.

Last night there the waitress was very rude she deserves to be wrote up. You don't need to work with people if you're going to have attitude.

Good Hotel with self check in and check out options availability. Room was decent with good housekeeping. The elevators were out of order. However I had serious issues with the people in charge of the pool. We went to the pool around 11:30 am yesterday and showed our IDs and told them we would be back in 10 minutes. When we came back the woman refused to let us in. We had to go back to our rooms to get our IDs. However, other guests were not asked for their IDs and they could just enter without any sort of verification. On our way out of the pool we saw that people were taking the complimentary towels with them so we assumed we could just leave it in our rooms. However the manager stopped us and asked to keep the towels before leaving the pool premises. We kept our towels at the designated spot however noticed that more people just walked out with the towels. This is sheer discrimination based on color. We spoke with the authorities but did not get a satisfying response as to why some people are being allowed to walk out with towels and just non whites being stopped. We faced other discrimination issues at the starbucks inside the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

We had a great time. The service kindness and patience of the staff during the pandemic was exceptional. The renovated room was great. A small issue with the bedding but management addressed immediately and offered genorous compensaion. This was customer service at its best. Thank you we will be back

A very nice Resort/Casino with many bars, eateries, and games of chance. A spacious poker room with good service and plenty of players. Enjoy the pool by day which transforms into a trendy nightclub for late goers. Rooms are a little dated but overall clean and spacious.

We decided to stay here because of the pool and it wasn't open so we tried to transfer or reservation they said no go figure... advertising that your main draw is not open should not be something you forget to do

Nice casino with many nice restaurants. Parking was easy but costs $10 unless you have a player card at platinum level the Golden Nugget has free parking and is just as nice. Personally never could understand why they charge for parking. It is cheaper for me to drive to Philly casino's then drive to Atlantic City.

It's a nice resort casino.The hotel room is great,clean,nice bed,flat screen TV, mini fridge,roomy.Was with big group, they were able to accommodate us with connecting rooms.The buffet restaurant was great, delicious. Casino is great, many to choose from slots, roulette, table games they have it. Won a little, won some loose some. Pool, pool parties, clubs, shopping they have it. Parking is confusing on arrival, with luggages,and people. Self parking is across the street. Overall a little pricey.It's located far from the boardwalk, or other casinos, next to Borgata.Otherwise it's a great casino,I would go back again.

Horrible experience. After checking in around 10pm, I walked into a room that was clearly being occupied. Food and drinks laying around, beds were a mess and the bathroom was dirty. After I called the front desk to alert them of this mistake, I realized that the guests before me checked out and the room needed to be cleaned. The person I was talking to, Dill, would not give me a new room, but instead offered $50 and told me house keeping would be there immediately. I agreed and left the room to have dinner. I walked back in the room around 1am....3 hours later...and the room was exactly as I left it. I was pissed...and extremely exhausted. Called the front desk again, talked to several different people and was finally told to go back downstairs to get keys to a new room....the same thing they told me they could not do earlier. Very disappointed.

Nice New Years Eve party, good food, open bar, great service, excellent band, just too loud.

Beautiful hotel, food options are great, but expensive

Hotel room was filthy, smelled of urine, and infested with mice. Woke up to mouse droppings on our luggage and second bed. There was a rotten piece of cabbage in a zip lock in the fridge. The bathroom was covered in mold and smelled like mildew. There was obvious urine stains on the floor along the baseboards and all over the couch. Some staff members were very unpleasant, and we could hear our neighbors phone alarm going off as if it were in our room.

3 stars because your first look walking in and exploring is breathe taking especially the pool! But when you really understand how its layed and mapped out it is not as exciting couple days in. I do feel they need to refresh them selves with phone service and definitely WIFI. You are paying for to stay and dine at there place and then you have to pay for your devices after (2) connected. To top this off the wifi is nothing special at all. If they took their time on this alone considering the growing population on mobile internet dependent devices they would essentially have an army connected to the world that would be blasting the resort name and their fun all over the web!

But me and my wifi had an amazing time. maybe the slow connection made us force the phones away and focus a lot on one another. We are very young and as travelers it really made us appreciate how connected their root are. You felt the vibes of 90's super celebrities would roam these very halls.

I really enjoyed my stay I stayed at the Harrah's Resort, service was great, room was clean and the food was plentiful in the buffet line. They have all kinds of stores that you can purchase clothing, liquor and anything else you might need. I really enjoyed my stay.

I was there for a business competition purpose. The hotel itself was convenient and really good.

I love Harrahs. The place is always nice and clean. The room was wonderful as always with plenty of pillows. One of the great things is if you play slots, you can order drinks right on the machine and a waitress comes pretty quick with your drink. I was able to hit here and there to keep playing. Late on my 2nd day I hit for the 1100.00 in the photo. I'd won 1000 on a previous visit as well. The other nice thing on my first day was Someone from management came to talk to me while I was playing slots. My name popped up on their computer as a first timer. He came to see if everything was fine with my visit. Everything was fine except I told him I wasn't a first timer. I'd been a few times. I thought it was nice though that they come talk to first timers. We ate in the buffet with a food credit I received. The selection is amazing and the food was great. We also ate in one of the restaurants near the pool. The food was excellent and our waiter was fantastic.Good luck if you come and play.

We stayed overnight at Harrah's for the first time in August 2020. We usually stay at the Borgata, and it's unfortunate that Harrah's fell short of our expectations.

The rooms were the best part of the trip. Very clean and appeared to have been renovated in recent years. However, there was minimal use and zero enforcement of COVID-19 guidelines within the casino and the building in general. I felt bad for the staff who were all compliant with facemask wearing because more than 75% of guests were not wearing masks. Entering the building, a staff member sits near a sign that outlines COVID-19 symptoms. Staff are supposed to ask each guest if they have experienced any of the posted symptoms, but they don't. Most of the time, the person posted at the entrance would be looking at their cellphone and giving no notice to the people walking by.

A few days after this visit, we went to the Borgata which was a much better atmosphere for social distancing and screening guests as they entered the building. They use thermal imaging to detect an elevated temperature in guests. There was handwashing stations throughout the casino floor. No large crowds and security would remind guests to wear their facemasks. Totally different than Harrah's.

That was the first and last time that we'll be staying at Harrah's. The only reason we made overnight reservations was because our rooms were fully comped. Otherwise, we would have went with the Borgata.

The room smells of cigarettes even thought the room is supposed to be non smoking room.
