Found a used vehicle. Came to an agreement on a price and obtained a printed quote and agreed on an "as is" sale. Went back the following night with cash for a down payment and the vehicle was not on the lot. It was being run through their shop. Went back the following night and the vehicle is still not on the lot but now all of a sudden it has a major fuel issue and cannot be sold. I had the vehicle running the first night i was there to look at it. Not a thing wrong with it. Now they want 10 grand more than what we originally agreed on and tried telling me that the price on the quote was only good for that first night i was there! I walked out and will not ever do business there again! Totally disgusting

While I have problems with Ford not authorizing repairs with the GPS, I can't say enough good things about Hagerstown Ford's service department, especially Tim Rowe the manager. He has gone to bat for me with Ford since my Explorer was new. Ford knows that the Sync system is
a problem and has even extended the warantee but all they ever want to do is patch the programming. Tim has gotten repairs authorized and they have always been polite and had my car ready (and clean) when they promised.

Wow, fast lane service was horrible. Technicians broke a part, lied about it, messed up trucks grill and then Ford dropped the ball by not contacting me back. I will never go back to the Hagerstown fast lane again

I had 4 new tires and front brakes replaced on my Nissan Quest and had a full service oil change at Quicklane at Hagerstown Ford. Rob and the team gave me good advice on tire selection and made sure the rebates due to were applied. A front end aliment was included with the tire replacement, too. I would recommend Quicklane at Hagerstown Ford without hesitation.

This is my third vehicle purchase from Hagerstown Ford (2 used, 1 new). They are the kind of dealer I like. Helpful (not hawkish) salesmen that listen to what you're saying about what you're looking for.
They have a nice selection of both new and used vehicles. The entire staff is courteous and helpful. I recommend checking them out when you're ready to purchase a vehicle.

Kevin Beard went the extra mile to fix my car before I headed out on a long cross-country trip. After explaining my emergency (engine light came on), Kevin worked with a mechanic who was also an inspector to make my car safe for my trip. No problems all the way through mountains of Tennessee, Colorado, Montana, and Washington State! Car runs great, and he fixed loose tie rods as well.

Only, please turn off the hateful, anti-American Fox News in the waiting room. Why alienate half your customers who are already anxious about their car repair? No one should have to listen this whiny, lying programming. Please put on a neutral station.

I had the first problem on my 2009 F-150 with a Tire Pressure Sensor Fault. I called the Service Dept. who transferred me to the Quick Lane Dept. I spoke with Ben and asked if I need an appointment to which he answered no, just bring it in. I arrived early the next morning and told the service advisor that I'd spoken to Ben the day before. Quick Lane is the correct name for this service as the problem was found and I was advised of the cost to repair. It was repaired and back on the road in about an hour. Ben and the other service advisor were very professional, polite and courteous.

Service and/or repair very high and when the work is finished and You assume everything is going to be fine and something is still wrong and You need transportation because it just might be days before You might be able to reschedule service to fix the problem you originally took your vehicle there in the first place. Prices for service and parts for the most part is marked up .

I had a pleasant buying experience from Hagerstown Ford, but now reside on the west coast where I'm finding out that the extended coverage I bought that was to cover "All mechanical" issues only covers internal problems, basically anything that touches grease. It would of been great if I wasn't lead on by finance when I was finishing paperwork. Defiantly thinking about trading it in since I was sold a lemon after it being inspected.

What an absolute nightmare of a place to do busine...

What an absolute nightmare of a place to do business. I brought in my 2016 Ram 2500 to trade in on a vehicle because the original dealer never reported to the credit bureau. Whitnie suggested I look at a F150 Platinum. I test drove it, and decided I wanted the truck. Paperwork was done, deal was signed and I was told I would receive a call when my plates arrive. December 28th I called the dealer to ask where my tags were and Brandy says that Charlie (Used car manager) told her that he had already spoken to me about it and everything was taken care of. I never once received a call from this man and was immediately pissed off that he would lie about this.
I found out that my registration application was denied by the dmv because there was a "q" title on the truck I traded in due to the original dealer not sending the dmv the original title to be transferred. Brandy admitted that they made a mistake and missed the fact that there was a q title, and in the same breath said Im on the hook for an additional $1500 for THEIR MISTAKE. We purchased 2 vehicles totalling $70,000 and these people are refusing to eat the cost for not properly training their staff.
I have been on the phone with them back and forth and each time they are more ignorant to deal with. Charlie has absolutely zero people skills and was nowhere to be seen during the trade in. After speaking with the dmv, I was told that this was an illegal transaction that never should have taken place. I will be filing complaints with consumer protection, attorney general and the bbb. If you are in the market for a vehicle, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I purchased my Ford in the fall of 2016, not quite 2 years ago. I had traded in my 10 year old Honda CRV, which I took very good care of to last 10 years and over 150K miles. I was so excited to have a brand new Ford Escape with so many new safety features and amenities. Within the first 4 months of having the car, it was in Hagerstown Ford service center for a complete overhaul of the engine. The work was extensive and I was in a rental car for 2 months straight. Over the past 18 months the Escape has been in and out of your service department countless times. Most recently this July and August, the Escape was in the service center for 3 weeks. Needing additional work on the engine, replacing the turbo and a broken axle.

Needless to say, I have been so disappointed in my purchase and the quality of service. Every time I came into the service department I would question why this was happening on a new car. They would shurg and say- "these things happen!" or "you dont have to pay for it. its covered under the warranty". Those answers are not ok. I am driving my children around in a vehicle that has the engine light pop on every other month. I do not feel safe. I would never expect that a car less than 2 years old would have so much work needed over and over again. I pride myself on taking care of my car purchases and making them last for many years to come. It is not easy to save money to make a huge car purchase. My trust and loyalty to the Ford brand have been ruined.

Over this past weekend, I sold my Ford Escape because I couldn't take the feeling of not feeling safe in the car any longer.

A big shout out to the Service Department! My husband and I were passing through from NY to Va to visit our daughter when we began to notice problems with our cruise control. I just bought the car two days ago and we are still getting used to it. I looked up dealerships close to our location and called to see if we could get in for an "emergency" appointment. Everyone we talked to were extremely helpful! They got us in and took care of the problem in less time it took for us to grab some lunch! Thank you so much for everything!

Came in for warranty work. Trash, broken parts, and unused parts, were left in the trunk of my car. I am not sure if they even did the work correctly, since there were left over parts and broken parts. They called to follow up with me and I explained everything to the female caller. Her tone changed and she couldn't wait to get me off the call. She said she would have the service manager call me back. It's been several weeks and no one called me back. At this point, I will not take my vehicles here unless I don't have another choice.

This recall came 6 years too late. Within 1 year of purchasing this car my wife was given a ticket for no license plate light. I had this replaced to satisfy the ticket but years later don't have the receipt. I was out well over $100 for this experience. Same exact problem.

They immediately gave me a rag to wipe my face and a free tshirt to change into. Sweetest thing that had ever happened to me. On the the worst day you made me tear up a little. Thank you so much

The staff is kind friendly and knowledgeable great place to get your oil changed but be prepared to leave your vehicle there for an extended period of time as they are busy this is the place to buy your Ford in the area great deals on good vehicles I always check out the used car lot the sales people are not pushy they are kind and extremely helpful

This is the most terrible experience i have ever had. Worst dealer i have ever worked with! Chris black was the person in finance that i was working with. He made promises about the payments he couldnt keep. I signed the paperwork on a friday. He then made me go back in a week later because he vouldnt secure financing. I had to sign the contract TWICE!!! This was all back in July. It is now October and i am receiving calls about owing money for my car i traded in. They didnt get the full pay off and now im being sent to collections ruining my credit because Chris isnt doing his job! I have tried to call and contact him 4 times and he has not responded! HORRIBLE COMPANY AND HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!! Please dont go here and ruin your credit like i did.

They sold my daughter a LandRover, and it was broken down within a week. Then they tried to convince her that she had to pay for all the problems, but it hadn't even been MD inspected yet. Of course, they were wrong, and with the help of some other government entities, they took bk the LandRover, and sold her a different vehicle. However, they didn't take it off of her credit report, so it looked as if she was still obligated financially for it, which caused all types of problems. Finally, after 4 months, and under threat of being sued, my daughter was finally released from the debt, even though she hadn't had the LandRover in her possession for that amount of time. Ridiculous! This is not how you do good business or provide quality customer service!!! This is insanity at it's highest level! Would never shop there ever again! .....Cissy M.

I bought a Kia Soul+ last Friday. I asked them if they would clean it while my brother and I went to lunch. Well, when I finally got home I checked it out better. It was not cleaned, only the stickers were removed. I found in the glove compartment a razor ( I guess they used it to removed the stickers ). Almost sliced my fingers. In the glove compartment I found a copy of the original owner's drivers license, this could had been bad if I wasn't an honest person. On the side door I found goggles that were left there. Called 2 days ago to speak to the manager.. he never called back. I guess it was all about the sale not the customer!! Really disappointed.

Update 08/28/2018
Well, went back to get my car detailed liked they say they would. Took my Soul, dropped it off ,they did shuttle me to the mall. About 30mins to 45mins, service called saying they were finished. I just sat down to have lunch, so I asked can they give me abt 30 to 40mins to eat. They did, told them I was in front of Red Robin, they told me they would be there in a few minutes. Well,after waiting 20mins in the heat I had to call again, it took them another 10 to 15 mins!! Finally got back, Guess what??!! My sister and I took a few mins to check it out. Nothing inside was touched or wiped down or vacuum!!! Same dirt in same spots, checked the back, nothing was done!!
I spent my time and used a half tank of gas for NOTHING! They don't know how to clean a car or just to lazy. Liked I said it's about the sale not the customer!!

I had a very good experience here I took my car in for service. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I was nervous about my car issues and was helped by Tim and Larry they drove my car around first so we were on the same page regarding the noise I was hearing from my car. They listened to my concerns and answered questions I had. Tim even set up for me to have a ride back to my house in Martinsburg while they worked on my car and a ride back to get my car.
Once my car was looked at a received a call from Larry explaining what was going on. I will be telling everyone I know about Hagerstown Ford. Thank you so much Tim, Larry and Mike!!

The cars are all over priced, and when they hold their big sales even or repossessed sale , all they are actually doing is dropping the price to a normal and comparable price to other upstanding car lots. And the manager Chris was one of the most arrogant people I ve ever met. Huge wasted trip to Hagerstown!

The service center needs someone in their who actually cares. Took my Focus in for a transmission issue, software recall and door handle recall. The manger at the service center (Mike?) tried to tell me that I could drive my car the way it was, that it wouldn't leave me stranded. The whole reason I was their was because my car left me stranded that morning. He had a attitude about him, didn't even act interested in are problem. Then he tried to tell my husband and I that we had to pay for a rental car. My car is still under warranty, I also bought the car from them ( and 4 other cars.) We had no way home ( an hour away) if we weren't provided with a loaner car. I get doing things a certain way and they have policy to up hold. It was all in the way he was talking to us. So, my husband asked for his manager. He told us they had all left for the day and he was in charge. Walked in to the sales floor and the lady at the desk called out the Assistant Manager, Judy. Judy was more than willing to listen and help us. She went out and got arrangements made for us to have a loaner car. Judy deserves a 5 star rating! All was good and forgot, we were on are way home. They called promptly and explained the issues. Was fixed in a very timely manner. The day I picked up my car I noticed a huge difference in the way my transmission was shifting, it felt brand new! The next day my husband was doing a once over on my car after I pointed out a broken clip on my door panel. So, the we get to looking at things and not one but both door panels weren't put back on my doors correctly. Their is gaps and broken clips, an the mirror adjuster button isn't centered. Theirs a gap significant gap on one side and no gap on the other side. Greasy finger prints on the cloth of my door panel. Also, under the hood the air cleaner box bracket was completely snapped off. My husband called twice that day and no one would answer the phone? Then they called asking us to answer a few questions for a service survey. My husband told them the issues, service manager is supposed to contact us. We have yet to hear anything back, that was about 4 days ago. I'm really disappointed in the condition of my car when it was returned. I take great care of my car and I expected that they would treat it like their own when working on it. I would of gladly waited another day so it could be fixed correctly. Most likely the last car that we will be purchasing from this Ford dealership. Judy is the only positive experience we had.

My experience with the salesman wasn't unpleasant his name was Andy Brewer. Then the used car manager. I called in with an issue talking to Tyler (who needed me to fill out paperwork not done properly by the salesman whom doesn't work there anymore) I specifically asked him to put me over to the used car salesman after telling him my issue. My issue bought a 2001 f250 diesel not perfect by no means and I understood it was older with only 137*** miles. When I bought it originally it listed for 10k after the back and forth between me and then we came to an agreement on a price. I bought the truck "as is" yes I understand that. Then after less than 1000 miles and 1.5 weeks truck breaks down. I call Tyler back and he tells me what he needs from me I'm yes a little heated due the circumstances and ask for used sales manager. Well Bob picks up and says he's 'walking the lot" he took down the info and said he would return my call. Today is 5 days later technically 4 because of a Sunday in the mix and still waiting. I assume this is how all business is handled by the dealership. I've bought plenty of vehicles before and this is my first time having this issue of a truck not lasting more than 1000 miles. I was merely calling asking if anything could be done due to the sudden issue got the nope as is speech. Mind you I've not made one payment yet on this thing. I was just trying to ask if even labor would be covered due to the sudden circumstances. Nevertheless if your looking for customer service take heed of this long but detailed information and shop wisely.

Have nothing real positive too say..have not had a good exsperiance yet there stop on 12-5-18 too look at a car and that was listed for 10500 online I get there its stickers for 14500 because they have 2 prices for each car..so the o line pri e is 10500 I asked the sales 7200 all cash because it was listed with options it doesn't actually have he said no the internet says we need too lost and sell them for what they recommend...had no interest in working with us at all....VERY HORRIABLE PLACE TOO SHOP....

Great place to have your vehicle serviced. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Not only is your car serviced, the staff goes over the results of the vehicle check. No pressure to schedule fixes, but an honest breakdown/awareness of your vehicle so you'll know what to watch out for.

We met Tom the seller and I told him what I wanted and was expecting and promise that he will get it done for me to the best of his ability. Long story short Tom made it happen the staff made it happen and I left with so much free perks and rebates please Hagerstown ford if you want the best experience

I contacted Hagerstown Ford an asked if the F150 they had posted online was available, I got a text back from a sales person saying it was I explained to her I lived 45 minutes away but would probably take me longer with traffic but I was on my way ashe texted back an told me to ask for smitty when I arrived an she was going to let him know I was on my way, well I get there an was told the truck was already sold after i was told it would be there waiting for me this is the second time this had happened to me from Hagerstown Ford not impressed at all!! Service department is ridiculous. My husband had his company truck there and they left the doors unlocked over the weekend. One of the locks is busted where the tools were and no one will return his phone calls. This isn t the first time we have dealt with piss poor customer service from the service department. You would think when you spend thousands of dollars there they would treat you better. Not this place.

They did what they said they would do and did it in a very timely manner. I take my new F-350 to them for other service as well. Well done Larry and Jay! Thanks

I recently moved to the area, and needed a new service shop, of course at the last minute. They accommodated my schedule very kindly, took great care of my car, and quickly provided the estimates I requested for future service needs. I was really impressed, and I normally dread a visit for car services. It was a nice touch that the waiting room was spotless, cheerful and didn't stink of rubber tires and grease! (I hate those smells). I have found my new service shop at the Hagerstown Quick lane!

We worked directly with Mike Reid and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. He listened to us, paid attention to what was important, and didn't quit until he had us in the Truck of our dreams. I would recommend him to anyone in the business for a new vehicle or a used one for that matter! He certainly knows his products but he really gets to know his customers! Above and beyond!!
