My husband and I purchased a 2021 Colorado last week and this was by far the easiest vehicle purchase we have ever made. Our Galles team (JR, Deb, and Anthony) went out of their way to make every aspect of our experience great, even during the pandemic. There was no pressure and no stressful haggling. It is hard to express with simple words how thankful and impressed we are with the sales team that helped my wife and I purchase a new vehicle from Galles Chevrolet. From the beginning of the process Francis Adosi, Bukasa Kalombo and Tyler Waller were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs, even though we arrived at the dealership after 7 PM on a Tuesday and not 100% sure about making a purchase. The negotiation process was far from unpleasant. On the contrary, we reached a fair deal quickly, the three gentlemen previously mentioned answered all our questions thoroughly, and we were able to take the vehicle home the same night. Also, Scott Rodriguez was very thorough to explain the financing process in detail and with complete transparency. As we had to return in the following days for some vehicle customization and inspections, Chet Wagner and Stephanie Brito were also very attentive and helpful. During the final customization process, Lee Otero basically ensured that I ended with the car of my dreams. He suggested great ideas and showed us a variety of options that made us make a more confident purchase. Throughout this entire process there were constant phone calls keeping us informed of the process, no hassle, no questions unanswered, no last-minute surprises. Thank you, Francis, Tyler, Lee and Bukasa as this whole process truly made us feel as we ve been friends a long time.

I was looking at a Jeep Grand Cherokee but was hesitant because I purchased my last vehicle from Galles, & hate to admit that I didn't get the best service. But thankfully I was referred to Cippy Padilla by Stephanie the customer service mgr, and WOW what a difference!!! I had the best service, Cippy is awesome and makes you feel so comfortable! Also, Andres in finance was great. This experience was great and quick. I didn't feel like another number like I did last time. Tires were defective. They put 40 miles on my car when they supposedly put new tires on my car. Lied about not having to pull my credit a second time when they switched my car out. The owner who lied never came to discuss the issues he told me he would take care of. All the salesmen we Cowards. They wouldn't let me speak to Joe or tell me where his office was. GALLES ARE CROOKS AND I WILL NEVER EVER BUY OR RECOMMEND THEM. I live 4 hours away and that's how they tricked me with a defective 17 impala that was suppose to be new. Horrible disrespectful chauvinist men. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I read other reviews and they are known for their dishonesty . I wish I would have read them before I was tricked into buying a defective car. I have a better business bureau Complaint as well. They shouldn't treat people this way. I also had to take my car to two different shops dues to improper installation of my wheels and my emission sensor going out on a brand new vehicle.

If I could give negative stars I would. We took our 2018 Camaro for service. It should be a warranty fi, but they decided to deny the repair for no reason! The turbo four cylinders are none to have issues yet they won t fix the car. When I went to pick it up, the car was left in pieces. When We asked why the car wasn t put back together, he stated we are Sh!t out of luck handed us the keys and walked away. How does a service department do business like that?!? DO NOT BUY FROM GALLES.. and now they want us to sign paperwork before they put back together the car they took apart stating our warranty is void for no reason!?! I used to think that Galles was the crem de la creme of auto dealerships. Ever since I bought my 4x4 Silverado two years ago I have had to take my truck in for service five times. Out of the five times I have taken my truck in, I have had four bad experiences.
Make that five bad experiences. My battery went dead recently on my Silverado and I needed advice on a good replacement battery. Two phone calls ended in the receptionist sending me to two hangups. The third phone call went to a service department voicemail mail. It didn't matter as the person who got the voicemail never called back. I love my Silverado, but I'm not buying anything from Galles ever again.
I can't count on getting responsible service. One good outing out of 6 is 17%; not good in my book.

My 2016 Duramax was in another local dealers service center for 7 weeks, then broke down again a week after picking it up...95 miles out of town. I decided to try Galles because the other dealer didn't seem interested in backing their work up, not to mention that I had no confidence in them. So glad I did, Michael Cottone and his team found multiple problems and fixed them within the time he had estimated. Communication thoughout the proccess was top notch. I was able to get back on the road and finish the trip I started. The way they conduct business is professional, I felt like they knew the product and had my interest in mind. Well I had a bad experience, but then I got a call from Joe Ruth. Joe helped fix the issue I had and made sure that everything was working properly. He had my whole truck cleaned out and even filled up my tank. I do buy cars from Galles and because they fixed the situation I had I will be there buying cars from there again.

I had an existing problem where my car kept stalling while I was driving on the highway. I called Leonard and told him about it again and after about 1/2 hour he found me a rental car and told me to take the car back in. Galles Chevrolet kept my car for almost 2 weeks because Leonard said they will not give it back till they figured out what the problem is. It turned out to be the catalytic converter. It was replaced and my car seems to be running good now. Thank you Leonard for be so professional, caring, and willing to get the problem corrected. You are definitely an asset to Galles Chevrolets Service Department.

Never buy a car in pre-owned Galles Chevrolet with a Manager Named Derek. Very bad attention. The first thing Manager Derek did was use my social security to leave me a record of more than 7 hard inquiries on the credit report. I don't know how he did that but I had to wait two years to remove that mark on my credit score. I signed with the only condition to do it with my bank and he said ok no problem. But in less than 24 hours, my credit report had more than 7 hard inquiries with 7 different banks. I called immediately and they only told me lies. I bought a car with the tires in bad condition. They charge too much for handling paper and look for the bank of their convenience. They promise you many things and do nothing and take advantage thinking that people do not know and without knowing people. I have all the evidence. They tell you to choose GAP insurance under cheating. The GAP insurance is optional. Do not sign without reading well as it is a trap. There are not consumer rights and no customer service.

One word: Amazing. Mr Lee Otero took time out of his day to show me a model (I thought would work for me) but after getting to know my needs for the future he found the perfect SUV for my family. The team around him was also super helpful and cordial, from the finance manager to salesman 'Alex' who explained all the bells and whistles on my new Blazer. I'll NEVER buy a car here again! Worst sales AND service department EVER!!! I bought a corvette here and had issues with the factory radio. It was still under warranty so I brought it in, but had to leave it for a few days so they could fix the radio (A few days?) When I called three days later they said it was fixed and ready for pick-up. When I picked it up not only was the radio not fixed, THERE WAS NO RADIO IN THE CAR!!! How stupid is that? So I had to leave it for another few days. When it was finally "fixed" I went to pick it up only to find out they wrecked my car! It was small damage--looked like someone backed into it--but still they don't care about your car? They don't care about you either. They fixed the damage, but I had to leave the car a few MORE days! Buy your car someplace else! btw, the factory radio was never fixed--I had to buy an aftermarket radio! I hate this place!

Galles was the third place that I stopped when I went out to find a car. Yesterday was one of the most frustrating days of my life, first time I had to ever finance a car. At first, I was given the run around, they tried to sell me far more than what I wanted. When I first arrived, I asked to be taken to the Used car lot. The salesmen I spoke to ushered me into his office in the New car lot. He then proceeded to try to sell me a brand new version of the car I wanted, oh, it has this feature, and that feature, and it'll only cost you this much more.

That was all well and good, but I made it clear when I got there that I wanted a specific car in the Used car lot. I agreed to let the finance guys look at my finances to possibly get the best deal with one of their new cars, even though I didn't think they'd be able to give me the deal that I wanted. And I was ultimately right, they gave me two offers that were they knew were too high, and so I said no.

Finally, after I told them that, look, that's the car that I wanted, they helped me out, and got me a great deal. Honestly, all the deals they got me were pretty good, it's just that the last one was the only one I asked for.

All in all, even though it took forever because of the initial car salesmen BS, they were very helpful, they tried to work with me, and I drove out that day, paying what I wanted to pay, for the car that I wanted.

Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly when I called to describe the problem my car was having. He immediately shared his thoughts on what was causing the issue, how to fix it, how long it would take. When I took the car in for my appointment he turned out to be exactly right. Car was repaired in 1.5 hours and covered under warranty. Only thing I noticed after I left was the mileage noted on my receipt was a couple thousand miles higher so it may have been info from my old Malibu. In any case, very glad I took my car to Galles. Great service!

They provided the worst customer service to my husband. I'm in shock they're even around. Do not be fooled by these 5 star one liner reviews. They're false and a disgrace to the Chevy brand. Do not go there unless you want to be pressured into purchasing a vehicle at overpriced rates. I am not exaggerating when I say they only care about themselves and not the customer.
To all my brothers and sisters in arms: Do NOT support this business. There are plenty of NM dealerships that uphold the best customer service.

I had to give you a one star but yall dont deserve it. I went there to find my wife a car. So the sales man and I walked to the very end of the yard to find a new Colorado. I looked at most of them but I had to leave soon but agreed to go on a test drive. The salesman went in for the key but another salesman came out. He said the other guy had an appointment with another customer . No problem we went on the test drive and everything was fine. We got back and I had to leave . Just as I was approaching my vehicle which is a new Toyota , a large service truck parked behind me. The driver suddenly pulled forward and blocked me in and then He ran inside. Really a service truck blocking customer parking in front of there showroom suspicious . I asked an employee to have someone move this truck but he didnt seem too concerned. As I looked up I could see the sales crew inside chuckling. I got out my vehicle saying out loud, "Really is that the way it is here. And out of the service bay a lady with excessive face makeup replied yup that's the way it is. Yes I went inside and asked why am i being ignored. They looked at me as if I was interrupting and said, thats not our service truck. I said is it normal for big service trucks to block customer parking in front of your new showroom. So, I layed into my horn... and was about to call the police. I cant prove you all did this on purpose but was childish. The comments and lack of concern for a potential customer were enough. I Guess you didn't like me parking my 2018 TOYOTA TACOMA 4x4 Sport in front of your show room. I guess that was inconsiderate on my part. My bad. Moreover, just look how many lost deals and one star ratings you've collected in the last 6 months.

I was in Albuquerque on one of the busiest times of the Holiday Season, three hours east of "home," taking care of business, when I realized my vehicle required some much needed TLC! I called a GMC dealer, Gallas Chevrolet! Michael answered the call and told me what I wanted to hear, "Yes, we can get you in for service and have the service complete within a couple of hours." I am one pleased customer. Immediate service! Quality service! Friendly and professional service by all who shuttled (Lionel) serviced (didnt get mechanics name), ensured quality work was complete (Michael), and the cashier (Brittany). Great JOB to all! Merry Xmas... I got my gift. Reasonable cost put an even bigger smile on my face and kept some cushion in my wallet.

Had to take in my BRAND NEW 2018 suburban, for service issues. This resulted in the replacement of the entire power steering motor, and I would like to stress on my BRAND NEW 2018 vehicle. The GM of Galles minimized the concern I had over buying a brand new vehicle with less than 600 miles have a service issue (resulting in no power steering when I was driving it). This should not happen to a brand new vehicle! Mine and my kids safety is at risk and Galles could care less as long as they get their money. That s all these companies care about anyway, the bottom line profit.

Ps. If you think 2018 is a progressive age where women are acknowledged, think again, the GM introduced himself and spoke directly to my husband without even acknowledging me. It wasn t until I spoke up that he acknowledged me. And even at that point he was talking to me like I was a 13 year old child.

Took my Chevy HHR in because it would not come out...

Took my Chevy HHR in because it would not come out of Park and the Engine was running high RPMs. They changed the transmission oil, swapped out a recalled part and told me it was good to go. A day later, I was having the same issue. Took it back and they said I needed to replace the BCM costing $700+ and that I will need to replace my transmission which is another $3K+. I couldn't afford it at the time so I took my car home. Looked on line for various fix actions and saw that I should reboot the computer for the car. I disconnected the battery from the car and let it set over 15 minutes and the issue resolved itself. Haven't had issues with it for the past 3 days..... Guess I saved myself $4k..... never trust these guys cause if they can't figure out whats wrong with your car they will simply guess whats wrong and charge you out the A** for it.

Had to make an emergency stop on the way home for a front wheel bearing. Service writer and mechanic were awesome. The manager Ron was terrible. Price was high. Come from a car family and know cost of parts and how long a service will take. Asked him to work with me on pricing and was told very rudely that I could go elsewhere if I didn't like the price. He knew he had me. Could not continue trip pulling a trailer load and have the front tire give out. Not from here so will never deal with this business again but locals beware. Go elsewhere. Have never been treated like this at any repair place.

Galles is the ABSOLUTE WORST dealership I have ever been to!!! I went to buy a truck and as I was finalizing my paperwork, they gave me the wrong amount for my trade in and they had to refile the paperwork. Then we had to wait the weekend before the GM was going to be in to approve our paperwork, then they tell us we don't qualify for a 47k truck! The worst part about all of this, is they ran my credit 6 times!!! I have never had an experience like this before! I took my business to Reliable Chevrolet and drove off their lot the same day with a 58k truck! I would definitely advise to go elsewhere for a vehicle!

I took my 2011 Tahoe in for routine oil, filter, lube, tire balance and rotation, and alignment check. I scheduled an appointment the day before. I arrived at the dealership at the opening time of 7:00 am. The service manager met me and I described my maintenance needs. I was given an estimated time to complete the work. The service manager let me know of the progress throughout the 1 1/2 hours to complete the work. The manager presented me the bill for the services which I understood the charges from previous visits. The staff was friendly, cordial and knowledgeable of my needs throughout the process. I plan to return for services as long as I'm treated this way. A very satisfied customer.

Took my new 2020 Chevrolet for it's first oil change. Upon arrival to the end, MY GOODNESS!! What can I say? This Chevrolet Dealership runs with EXCELLENCY. I drove in and received a welcome smile and professional customer service. No one was standing around like they were lost. It didn't matter that I purchased my Chevrolet from unReliable, Galles took great care of me as though I did purchase from there. Ppl are friendly, kind, helpful and take care of your vehicle needs like they should. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Galles Chevrolet. During Covid, chairs were provided for customers to sit on outside. Which I thought was nice. They spaced the seating. I DIDN'T have any issues. NONE. Micheal Cottone even explained my Chevrolet's health check-up without even rushing. He delivered excellent customer service. Just wish the other dealership was like Galles. GALLES CHEVROLET deserves more than 5 stars. They DESERVE 10+. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Charge you like magical monkeys in the Himalayas built your part. Don't deliver when promised won't take returns without charging you. Don't call you back when you're parts don't show up or even discount the parts for the inconvenience and money THEIR mistake cost you. Like any other customer service oriented bussiness would. I will go through a different dealer if ever forced not to just use aftermarket again.
Udate: 'the owner' responded saying they care about service and so on but when I went in to get these late costly parts. I was barely acknowledged and at no point has anyone ever even said sorry for the inconvenience. This place is the worst. Should have known when I walked in to a disgruntled customer art the counter on my first visit.

Very careful with the financial Manager Derek, a few months ago I bought a car at Chevrolet Galles Pre-Owner, 2801 University of Albuquerque. Manager Derek without authorization and telling lies used my social security to check the credit in more than 9 banks, today my credit is very low because it was reviewed without saying it was for auto financing, I just gave him authorization to check my credit with My bank and Manager Derek look for other banks thinking that people do not know about finance and bank loans. The banks did not approve the loans because the car was very expensive. When I went to claim him he told me that I could finance my car myself, and he never told me what the bank was. My credit was at 710 and Manager Derek looked for a bank that charged me 6% interest rates. Be very careful with this Manager, if you do business with him, you will lose a lot of money and time. Derek unprofessional.

I went to Galles chevrolet yesterday. I spoke with a salesman who asked what I was looking into getting. I presented him the add I saw online; he acted oblivious to the current Galles online offers. He then typed in the stock # on the add and it supposedly pulled up a 2wd 1lt crew cab silverado. But when I Google the stock # it pulls up a 4wd 1lt crew cab silverado. After the stock # mismatch I asked the salesman for an itemized out the door quote and he said no because I would just go to another dealership to have the price beat. (Which is bogus, considering our back to back emails, I was looking at Galles offers.) The reason I requested the itemized quote was to see the fees, taxes, and add-ons. When an individual is going to make a big purchase they would want to view the bill right? He then proceeded to the manager's office to see if they would honor the price I had requested. They refused, and would only continue on with their first offer (2wd 1lt crew cab). He also stated the dealership had used all the vouchers to this sale, it was first come first serve and they "didn't have any more." So why did he offer the 2wd if they had no more vouchers with this ad ending 6/30/2017?


I will not be referring anyone nor will I return. It was obvious this dealership didn't want my business.
