I have had my truck at service galles chevy now for the 4th time, they are trying to figure out how to fix my truck, it's a 2015 Z71 and must have a very rare issue because they can't figure it out, hopefully today is the day, dropping it off for them one more time, I'll post how it turns out later

The Salemen there was disappointed he got stuck with a me, you tell on his face. He pulled up the car I wanted to look at, and I mentioned another car at another dealer that was cheaper. I asked why. The guy was visually annoyed, but pulled up the other car stats. He then said theirs was more because it was "fully loaded." I asked what that entailed. He swung around and begrudgingly said "it means ours is fully loaded, that on is not." Really? Asked a question and he gets mad?? I told him my budget, and he said if I get ours down to that, do you want it? And I responded with more questions. I could see was annoyed, so I just said "sorry for wasting you time sir." And he just respondes with "yep" got up and met someone else. Not even a handshake or a come on back. Rude. Rude. Lone women find another place.
After the big move. In my opinion it was the right thing to do. Great location & great staff. Great vehicle's to choose from. All n all great sales staff. Especially a young lil lady that really knows her stuff. Thank U young lady for all ur help.
I will never do business with this place again. There finance team is the worst. I feel like i paid way more than the car is actually worth. At the time of the purchase i was tacked on extra warranty that i clearly stated i did not want.

It was a very fast and effortless purchase of my new Tahoe. Jr and Armando did a great job. I spoke to them about other experiences with other car dealerships and they ensured it would happen again. We have purchased from them in 4 other occasions and wouldn't go any place else.
My husband and I bought a truck a month ago and we bought it before the inspection was done so we knew it would take some time before we got it. Well we were told it'd be ready by today and we both left work early to go pick it up because we live 1 hr 20 mins away from the dealership. The sales guy told us AFTER we had already left work that they have it back in the shop and he wasn't sure if they'd have done by end of the day. EXTREMELY unprofessional and now we'll have the truck AFTER we've made the first payment on the loan. What a joke. Don't waste you time here.
I bought my truck in July and each time I go in for general maintenance I get treated like family. Staff are always friendly and helpful! When I first went to Galles Chevy I was impressed with the salesman,Ed, in the used car department. After much deliberation it became apparent that a new car lease was the way to go (mainly due to there used vehicles being priced well above blue book). I was given a new car salesperson, Ryan. Everything seemed to be going well and the leasing was taken care of after several hours. I picked up the vehicle the next day and then the problems started. They had to have a trailer hitch installed. They said they would contact me later that day or the next day to to set up the appointment. Well the next day came and went with no contact so I called them. Again I was told they would have it taken care of. I advised them that I needed it in a week as I had plans that required the use of the hitch. After the weekend I called them yet again and was given the same story. On Wednesday I had to call again because I STILL hadn't heard anything from the dealership. This time no one at the dealership knew who I was or that they leased me a car the week before. I had to threaten to come to the dealership and cause a scene before they finally found me in their system. I was told they would not be installing the hitch but that a local u-haul would be. They told me they would call over there and send a check over so that all I had to do was make the appointment. Luckily U-haul was able to get me in the next day. When I arrived I was informed that I would have to pay over $200 for the installation! Back on the phone to the dealership where I was informed they didn't send a check over and I should have picked it up. After an intense conversation they agreed to bring the check over. Finally, over a week after I got the car, the hitch was installed.
This brings me to today. Exactly one month after leasing a new vehicle and the first payment was due. I was concerned as I had not received anything from the leasing company (GM Financial). I called GM Financial and after many different people and much aggravation at them not being able to locate my account a supervisor decided to call the dealership. Apparently the dealership had never sent the paperwork to the leasing company which explains why they could not find my account. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE HORRIBLE !

I explained in a panic that the movers were at my house and I was driving to Utah the next day and asked if he could expedite the service. Not only did he do a speedy job, but he did a 7 point check on my SUV to ensure I'd have a safe, no issues drive to UT. He was fantastic and I greatly appreciated his professional, yet compassionate service on my SUV. THANKS MIKE!
Mike there at Galles service department is the dopest MF'er around! He was very helpful and upfront about how long my diag. would take and let me know what the issue was in a very timely manner. He was honest about what it would cost to get my issue fixed without beating around the bush and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend 10/10 will use again & recommend.
When I bought my 2016 Chevy Malibu I was assured it was a Certified Used Car. Within a few days of getting it home it had an issue. They said it was a tire that was not balanced and supposedly fixed the problem. A few weeks later the problem was back. They said one of the new tires would not balance and that I would have to buy 4 new tires. They even gave me a quote at "their cost" that was more than it would cost me to buy them elsewhere. Finally after I sent the following note to Chevrolet corporate Galles begrudgingly replaced the tires. Now less than 100 miles later the car has the same problem. I took it in and 9 days later they called to say that it was a tire that would not balance and they replaced it. It does not take 9 days to replace a tire or to balance a tire. When I asked what the cause was of the tires going bad, they said they didn't know.
What I do know at this point is that I will never buy another Chevy and certainly never deal with Galles Chevrolet.
Letter sent to Chevrolet Corporate:
The day I got the car it had problems with a vibration. I was told it was a balance issue. Less than 400 miles later I had the same issue and now am told it is bad tires. The 172 pt inspection report shows a significantly different tread depth measurement than the dealer gave me today. It also shows that the car has a SIRIUSXM radio when it is not equipped with one. The dealer now wants me to buy tires at their "cost", a cost that is higher than the cost at other places including another Chevrolet dealer in town, Costco, and Firestone. I believe that the problem is that I was sold a car that was never inspected and I want both a complete 172 point inspection the car was supposed to have AND the tires replaced for free since they were obviously bad when I purchased the car. My attorney advised me to contact GM Corporate before filing in court.
Update 8/3/18 at 3:45 pm - No manager has called. When I went to pick up my car this afternoon it was heavily hail damaged. No one informed me of the hail damage and it was not on my invoice. They just asked me to sign off on the tire replacement and handed me my keys. I went out to the car and found it covered in hail marks. When I went back in to complain, the service manager came out and looked at the car and then asked for my invoice, pointed to a line on there and said that they were not going to do anything about it because they were not responsible for it and then walked away from me. It wasn't until I called after him saying that the next person he would be talking to was my attorney that he said that they would cover my insurance deductible. I have no words to describe how angry I am.
Update: No one called until Monday 8/6
UPDATE 8/9 - Drove the car for the first time since getting it home from the dealership and it is exhibiting the same exact issue it had when it went into the dealership. A vibration and noise that sounds like you are going over a rumble strip at 33 and 47 mph.
The service was great, however I was misled the day before as to the price of the oil change. I called on Tuesday to ask how much an oil change would be and was told $49. When I arrived I was quoted a higher price. I told my service rep that was not what I was quoted. She said the price I was quoted was with a coupon and most people calling had the coupon. I responded that if i'd had the coupon I would not have asked the man who I was talking with for the price. I would have gone elsewhere.
The rep graciously gave me the coupon price. Whom ever answers the phone should not quote a price without stipulating a coupon is needed, or ask if the coupon has been received. I like most people are on a budget. I prefer to be loyal to local businesses, but will always look for a price within my budget.
Again, the service rep I dealt with was professional and courteous. The service department was also quick and professional.
Had absolutely no issues representative helped me with everything I needed no issue at all! Also waited about an hour less than I thought I would be waiting!

I have yet to visit the Galles dealership but they have treated me with respect and worked with me on getting my new vehicle. They worked with me at every step, from research to financing to delivery. The sales team at Galles were very patient and willing to accommodate my schedule.
Twice I ve had horrible experiences with this dealership. No sense of customer service. No appreciation of customers time. Second rate dealership. Worthless tire warranty that is a rip off. can t do a simple oil change because their internet was down even though parts and techs were readily available. I understand the need for internet and technology but have you never heard of paper invoices I m sure you have some or can print some out but no let s just use no internet as an excuse to waste the day I took off of work to get this done. So I can lose pay for another day to take back to you again. Worst customer service in the world. Given no apology except that s there sorry that I feel my time was wasted . Don t buy anything from these ppl go to literally any other dealship to buy your car you will thank me later trust me.
How do you "fix" a car, but a car isn't fixed at all? I took my 2013 Chevy Sonic in yesterday to get my Chevrolet MyLink radio looked at since my screen was frozen and the radio wouldn't turn on. I left my car and they called me later to let me know that a replacement order for a radio would need to be acquired. They then asked if it would be fine to leave my car overnight with them and to get it fixed the next day (today). I said sure.
Well, today rolls around and I get a call saying that my car has been fixed. Once I get to Galles Chevrolet, I'm told again that my car is ready to go. I get my invoice saying that the radio was replaced as expected. I wait for about 10 minutes in the waiting room to get my car key. The moment I put my car key into the ignition, I'm expecting the radio to turn on like normal. But, what do I get instead? A radio that is "locked". I can't use the newly replaced radio.
I go back inside into the service department to tell them that my radio still doesn't work. I'm told that the radio they ordered had a "locked VIN" that they somehow couldn't access. Therefore, the radio that was installed can't be used. I have to wait the weekend and go back next Tuesday to get *another* radio installed in. I'm told by Assistant Service Manager Christopher Ortega that I would get a free gas fill up next week for the inconvenience.
I never thought that I could get my car "fixed" but have nothing fixed at all. Galles Chevrolet proved that it's possible. The inconvenience of bringing my car in during my work hours, finding rides to get home and to get to the dealership, and to be told that my car isn't fixed is more than immensely frustrating. If my car isn't fixed next week when I go back in, I'm changing my rating to 1 star.

I took my car in again today (Tuesday). I decided to wait in the waiting room. About an hour and a half later, I was told that the newly replaced MyLink car radio works. I say great. I check the radio. It works, except there's one component that should be working that isn't at all (the volume and source switcher on the steering wheel). It's a small component, but if I expect something to be fixed, I expect the entirety of components to be working correctly. If something isn't working at the time of replacing a part, please communicate that to a customer.
When coming back to the service center to explain that the MyLink still didn't work like it should, I got a little lecture about how the workers at Galles Chevrolet are the middleman in this and that sometimes parts don't work how they should. I understand that completely. The annoyance from a customer's end comes from the lack of communication in regards to whether a part works completely or not before letting a customer drive off with a car that isn't fixed. In the first case, it was obvious that no serviceman TESTED to see if the new radio worked in the first place. In the second case, the radio worked, but there were still components of it that did not work as I drove off that should have been TESTED prior to me driving off with the car. Please do not tell customers that a car is READY to be driven and picked up without having tested a part!

I was looking to buy a new 15 Tahoe, and went to three different chevy dealerships in Albuquerque. I came into Galles and was immediately greeted, the staff was great to work with. Anthony Esell is the salesperson who helped me in my purchase of a 15 Tahoe, he was very polite and never pushed purchasing. The manager Chris Ruth came in and introduced himself and made sure I was getting the vehicle I wanted. The paperwork took a little longer then I had expected but I am very pleased with Galles Chevy's service and couldn't be happier with my purchase!!
I ordered a new 2019 Silverado High Country late last year from Galles and learned a lot about what it takes to get a new vehicle from the factory. Through the whole process I called and stopped by the dealership many times. Every time I stopped by, or called, I had one or two people checking on where it was and what was going on. One time the sales manager called GM right in front of me, with them on speakerphone, and relayed that his customer was wondering about the status of his truck. It ended up being built and was waiting in a rail yard waiting to be delivered. Everyone was very helpful during a frustrating (for me) processes. The moment it arrived I received a call from my salesperson and I immediately went and picked it up. There were some bulletins that came up with the truck and they got it in and fixed the issues. Not much later the infotainment system was glitching out so I took it back. They reset everything and I was on my way. Most recently, yesterday, I took my truck in for its first oil change. Masheyti has been my service person from the beginning and, as always, was very friendly and professional. She got my paperwork done and let me know she would come get me when it was done. While waiting Don, the service manager I believe, who I dealt with a fair amount , recognized me, greeted me, shook my hand, and asked how the truck and I were doing. Very good customer service! About 30-45 minutes later, Masheyti came and got me as my truck was done. She informed me that the oil was changed, tires rotated and properly inflated, and that there was another bulletin that was addressed. Through everything from the beginning of my process to my scheduled maintenance, Masheyti and Don have been very professional and helpful. Awesome customer service, thank you.
I have not gotten my plates yet and it's been over 3 months!! Everyone seemed very nice and genuinely helpful to me in my current situation at the time. But only because their motive was to sell me a vehicle obviously. I traded in my old BMW with a V8 for next to no money at all and I signed the papers before I realized the car they sold me was very far out of my price range. The Chevy Equinox came with a big tear in its front bumper and its so much slower than my old bmw . Aside from that the salesman is creepy he won't stop making passes at me he even sent me a message on Facebook!

Just had my 2009 Saturn Sky serviced at Galles for a General Motors recall on an ignition switch.. The experience was great and always has been. I've been going to Galles ever since I purchased my car and have always been met with on time, courteous service---and my problems---which have been few---are always resolved. Actually, most of the time I'm just going for regular maintenance-----which also means they are taking good care of me. Thanks again Galles!

Customer service is not the best. I was over charged for a simple sevice. The GM website said they participad in a service special. When i asked the guy he said he had no clue. Didnt even bother to check if it was available. I paid my bill and did not get my keys. Had to wait more time for my car. Not a good place

Worst experience ever....we had our truck there for weeks and weeks. Poor or little communication with the service advisor. So when we finally got it returned to us, the security system wasn t hooked up and when we complain -they got upset with us for complaining that the problem! Really? Then to make matters worse, when we got our truck back the second time -our power locks were disabled and we gave up! We would never take our vehicles there again or buy a car from there or even recommend them to anybody! From the service advisor who was eventually fired, to the Service manager, and then the general manager, nobody gives a * and had a horrible attitude for us wanting to get what we paid for and what our insurance paid for... we gave them $3000 + and they couldn t get it done right!
I purchased a 2014 Chevy Silverado in October 2014. My sales transaction was good, and I was very happy with my purchase. With my experience I was sure that I was going to refer friends and family to Galles. After a few days of activating my OnStar services I found out that my new vehicle had recalls from June 2014 that had not bee addressed by the dealership service department. I was under the impression that it is the responsibility of the dealership service to keep up with the recall of the vehicles they have on their lots. Now I have to take time off from work to get the recalls addressed. With my personal experience, I ask my self "Is this the kind of service I will be receiving from their service department as needed?"
In addition, I had requested the bed of my new truck to have a spray on bed liner. I was informed it would take 4 hours, when I took the vehicle back for the service I was informed it would take 2 hours. Apparently, the time frames given were INCORRECT. I waited 6 hours. How difficult is it to update your customers on the status of service?
Honestly, I'm hesitant to distribute the referral cards given to me.......

My wife and I purchased another low mileage used truck from David Bridwell and are quite satisfied. This is the second low mileage truck that we have purchased from him during the last 3.5 years. The entire difference there is that there is a relationship between the prospective buyer and the sales personnel. Finally, there was an unusual experience when another salesperson, by the name of Christopher, helped get a temporary license plate mounted on the car, as Dave was with another customer. He told me a little about his life and avocations, and did not even mention cars! Apparently, there is a loyalty to the other salespersons and a respect for their clientele. I suspect that Dave would show the same for Christopher's clientele. Rather amazing.

I am not please with the sales person that I had. he tells me that he would call me back but if not tomorrow. so I guess tomorrow has not come for him yet. so I am upset with the service that I had gotten so now I am shopping around for another car dealership. thanks any ways. the positive side about this was that Debbie that answers calls for the sales people was so nice and helpful every time I called.

Worst experience my daughter and I have been through! Never again dealing with this company nor recommended. They pushed my daughter to buying a new vehicle which was not her price range than didn't wanna cancel the deal but tried selling a used for something we didn't want, tried forcing that it was our only option we had no choice but to agree with something we didn't wanna drive off with because the "GM VICTOR" that has no right to be a gm was very rude and didnt let me speak as a customer i decided i was going to call the owner about the rudness, not to mention they were unsure about the bank they financed through, insurance issues which we got billed for after they said it was paid, it was excuse after excuse lie after lie asked for contract that was sent to bank could not provide. Finally they cancelled the car deal my daughter got her orginal car back but was still given excuses for her registration back. VICTOR GM never came to talk to us and apologize nor acknowledge us while we were there but has the nerve to call me the following day accusing my daughter of having drugs in the car because she left house hold stuff in the trunk. VICTOR should not be a gm and still not refusing on contacting the owner concerning his actions!

I bought a used car from gales chevrolet on lomas and not even a week later I started to have problems with the car. I took it back and asked them to take a look at it and to please fix the problem. They refused to look at the car and told me I had to take it to the dealer that made the car. I tried to explain that I had just bought the car from them a week earlier and they basically told me that it was not their problem. I had to take it to the dealer that made my car. They also felt that gales chevrolet should have fixed the problem instead of sending me to them. They are very unprofessional and I will never purchase a car from them again. Do not go to gales. All they want is your money and once they have it they do not care about you anymore.
I've been having issues with my car and took it to the dealership in Los Lunas. They only thing they can figure out is how to screw you. Ended up coming here because I know enough to know the other place was a bit shady. I am so glad I did. They fixed my car to where it runs better than it did when I first got. And pretty fast too! I will definitely be a repeat customer. They were very courteous and professional. They were very straightforward about what was wrong wand what they needed to do to fix it. Galles is the place to go!

Customer service was terrible. I walked in saying I wanted a used car and I almost signed the papers before I realized they were selling me a brand new car that was over my price range. When I started to question and argue, they started asking personal questions. I was very uncomfortable and unhappy with how I was treated.

One they got us into a truck but didnt read all the paper work after signing for like the rate financing and so fourth , also was told to bring it in the following Monday for a quick check up and to di some stuff shouldn't have been more than an hour or so and wind up waiting 3hrs !!!!!!
