I have a 2010 Chevy Cobalt and they had a recall on them because the keys were falling out of the ignition. I took my car back home to Ohio over the summer so I could get it fixed, but they never got the parts in and still haven't gotten the parts. When I drove back out here for school, I took my car in and they had the parts in less then two weeks. They got my car fixed in an hour and half and the workers were AMAZING! I could not thank them enough for everything!

Worst experience ever I advise anyone trying to get help with a car weather it's buying a new one or used AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP worst employees ever they are very rude when I explained to them my situation they seemed bummed and mad as if I was burden to them or something I was there 2 hours waiting on a simple credit check i finally got frustrated with waiting I got up went and got the guy "helping" me turns out he was too busy having a conversation with another employee laughing having the time of his life while am over in the office waiting for at least an hour like an idiot worst customer service I've ever experience it's wonder no one has ever recommended me to go to this location AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!

I took my vehicle in to get the oil changed it they had good service. It was done fairly quickly and they didn't try to charge me an insane amount for the synthetic oil. But they also asked me if I would be interested in trading up from my new car because they were interested in buying it. I went in today to talk to Ashley, who called me and said she would be in to talk with me. When I went in, another salesman said she left for the day, even though we had an appointment. First red flag. Then the guy who didi end up helping us kept skirting around my question of the value they would give me for the car. Then he got up to check something and the next thing I know ANOTHER random salesman sits don with me. Yet again he isn't answering my direct question and I'm starting to get upset. It took FORTY MINUTES for an answer. My fiance has class in an hour and a half and we live on the other side of the city. He very pressingly asks for my social and tells me it will be very quick. Now I've been sitting for 15 minutes and when I look over, he is sitting with OTHER PEOPLE!!! I am a full time college student and a full time worker, completely self sufficient. My time is valuable and these people wasted it like I was just a way to pass the time. What kind of salesman are employed here? I felt like i was just being passed from one stranger to another and wasn't being taken seriously. When it comes time for me to buy a car, i would rather drive 800 miles to Idaho where I got my car now then drive 10 miles to Galles Chevrolet. I will also be putting this review on ANY AND ALL websites and telling anyone who asks to stay clear of this business, if you can call it that.

I had an 11 am appt. to unlock a radio, arrived at 10:30 to get checked in. I waited for over 3 hours and kept inquiring about my car as I was told it would only take 90 minutes. Whats the point in having an appointment? Finally, they said it would take another three hours, mind you I was supposed to be at work and had to cancel a meeting. Then I told them I would leave it if they can take me to work which was less than a mile and a half away, and they said no, we don't do that here. I talked to several people in their waiting room and they all had way more complex issues than me and they were being helped way before me. I just wasted over three hours of my day and 2 hours of vacation I had to use and still didn't get my radio unlocked. Heading to Reliable, they will do it cheaper and said only 45 minutes, max. Never going back to Galles for anything.

Service department is unprofessional and appointments are never handled in a timely manner. Also the quality of the work is poor. Took my car in to have an engine oil seal fixed under extended warranty and they gave me the car back with the AC system empty and some kind of pressure sensor disconnected. They fixed the AC at no charge but it took them half a day to even look at my car. The fix only took them about 45 min. They wasted my time and don't prioritize fixing their past mistakes to keep customers happy.

the service sucks,, i took my car there last year to get my car fix. they did not fix it right like they should.. they replace the head on the engine and strip out a bolt on the valve covers so it had a bad oil leak when i got it back so i took it back. they just put alot of silicone on the valve cover to stop the oil leak.. i just found out they did that after a year. i replace the valve cover on 2014 chevy cruze, when i replaced it i tried to tighten that one bolt, now i have a bad oil leak from that one bolt... the service manger was rude with me.

I have nothing but great things to say about this location. Having two children born with a rare disease I needed something dependable and affordable. Shawn in sales took care of everything for me. Sadly the motor mount broke a week before I had to take my son to Denver children's hospital, but Mike in the service department set up a rental for us to use. Now being back they are going to find a loaner vehicle until the part can be made and sent to their location. Absolutely great service though.

I should have never bought an American car, especially from Galles. I only had my car 4 years and there have been so many problems with the engine and battery. All the expenses I put into this vehicle for these 4 years this car better last me another 4. I went in to discuss "options" on why my car has issues and all they wanted me to do was buy another one when my car loan payment ends next year. Sorry I will never go here again for any service or a purchase.

**Update: I never received a call from any "general manager" and I ended up trading in my car during year 5 for a better one. Never again Galles, never again.

My engine light came on a week ago and I took my car to the dealership (not in Abq) that I've gone to since I purchased the car. They wanted to charge me for diagnosing the engine but a family member who's a mechanic said to call and ask about extended warranties. I called to a Chevy dealership in Abq and received the same info. I then called to Galles and spoke with Leonard. He kindly asked for my VIN and mileage, said I had power train warranty and to bring in the car right away. I went to the dealership within the hour. Leonard was there waiting for me, checked in the car and the mechanics solved one problem but found another (which was not mentioned by the other dealership). They scheduled me to fix the other issue and gave me all of the details! I brought my car in the receive the second repair and it was done sooner than I expected! Everyone was super nice, very helpful, and deserves a gold star! And...they washed my car!!!!

On a different note, the new location is nice! The waiting room as WiFi, two big screen tv's, complimentary drinks, and is clean!

My wife and I recently purchased a 2020 Silverado Trail Boss from Galles. Honestly, from the moment we walked in we were treated like family by Annette and her team. She's highly knowledgeable and helped us consider some similarly trimmed alternatives, just to get a lay of the land. From start to finish, we never felt any pressure from her or the team to make a purchase, and she went above and beyond from a customer service standpoint. They actually allowed us to take the truck home to see if it fit in the garage! That's unheard of this day in age, but the shoe fit, and that ultimately helped sell the truck. Not to mention, we made the purchase pretty late in the afternoon/early evening, and between her and Juan from finance, they made the process incredibly enjoyable and speedy, considering how late it was. They all worked until 8 PM, which shows the efforts they go to (and Annette had even come in on her day off for us!). Highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Galles. You'll be treated like family from the moment you walk in, and you won't regret it, whatsoever. We love our truck. Pics to come!

I'm a person that will always let someone know when they do a fantastic job and not one that will post something when something goes wrong. I am familiar with most of the businesses in Albuquerque and I must say Galles is the best and coolest place I have ever dealt with. Galles deserves the highest ratings that are out there. I would give a zero if I could. We went for service and had to return because we did not have service contract. The young lady, Mercedes, took info without verifying service contract. When service was done they wanted to charge us. If they would of done there job correctly we would of been notified before service was done of issues with contract. We have two Chevy s and they have lost our business. Bad customer service is a deal breaker in any situation.

Based on my experience, this dealership is very well run; also facilities are new, very clean, and nice.

My Tahoe broke down while driving through Albuquerque and I had to get it repaired ASAP. Mike got me in and kept me updated every step of the way. He worked out the details with my warranty, and had my car ready to pick up well in advance of the time he quoted.

I shopped around and I liked that they were looking out for the fact that I was on a budget. I got the brand new car I wanted and a good price. Thank you for all your help to our seller and the main manager. It was greatly appreciated. I sent a customer who bought a car a week later. My neighbor also bought one there also.

I left my information two days ago and they still have not called me back. The same day I called Galles and was told I did not need an appointment and could come in anytime. On Friday Sept 7, 2018 I went into dealership for PM on 2012 GMC Seirra truck, an oil change and air in the left front tire. I didnt make an appt because i was not sure what time i would be able to take it in. It took over an hour and when i got the truck back it seems ok but when i got on the highway and the front tire started to shake. I was unhappy when i left the dealership...i notice the oil had gone up in price by $20+ dollars. I dont feel that the oil used was anything special or anything as it was 5W-30. I am unhappy with the service for the price. on top on that the person who handle the transaction was focused on something else instead of on my vehicle. I had ask questions about my vehicle and it status of maintenance. I will be looking for another place to do my maintenance on my vehicle.

Stopped in for an oil change while visiting from WA State. Turn around time was good while I waited. Price was fair.

Unfortunately oil was splashed on the underside crossmember. This left oil spots all over my in-laws concrete driveway.
Took it back to Galles and they sent it out back for a pressure wash.

Several days later when using the windshield washer fluid I discovered the tank was empty. Turns out the washer person blew the pickup hose off of the washer tank, letting it drain out unbeknownst to me. We were too many states away by then to bring it back.

The dealership had nice enough folks, but I was sorely disappointed with the lack of attention to detail. Hopefully other out of area customers will have a better experience.

What a nightmare experience.

What a nightmare experience.
I purchased a pre owned vehicle with 16,000 miles on it and in no less than 13 days after I purchased it I was on my way out of town and it broke down on me.
I immediately had it towed back to Galles, in hopes they would help me out. Instead the sales manager Christopher was nothing short of rude to me. Instead of listening to what happened he started shaking his head and telling us there was Nothing he could do for us.
He then sent us off to another manager who instead of apologizing for selling me a lemon car, went on to turn it around and say this is what happens when you purchase used vehicles...
In my experience 13 days and a vehicle with 16,000 miles should NOT be giving you problems.
I repeatedly told them I didn t feel safe in this car and none of them seemed to care nor did I EVER GET ONE APOLOGY.
All I got was multiple men telling me it s already sold, so sorry..
Luckily it s still covered under warranty, so Jeep is actually taking care of it. Bad news, I ve found out the fuel pump needs to be replaced (along with other multiple problems) and Jeep can t get another one until the end of August, because of all of this I will be out of a car for 2 months...

To say I m angry is an understatement, not only would I never go back but I m also considering getting an attorney and filing a complaint to the better business bureau.

I bought a car 5 months ago. It had a recall so they couldnt give it to me the same day I bought it. When I received it I took it to my insurance company and I was told by my insurance representative that this isn t the vehicle I sent him a picture of the vin # is different. So Galles gave me a different vehicle then I choose and did paperwork on. 2 months later paperwork was fixed and my finance officer was no longer employed with Galles. 5 months later no plates have been received and I m on my 6th temporary tag. Onstar and satellite radio don t work cause it s still hooked up to the old car the original car I choose but never received. Onstar gave me a refund for my one year supscription and told me to go after Galles Chevrolet for messing up so bad. I ve called Galles over a dozen times the secretary promise me 3 times a GM would call me but nothing. I ve also left 2 voicemails for the GM with no returned calls either. This is a joke I guess it s time to get an attorney!!!!

Our family was on a road trip from Denver to Phoenix for a youth hockey tournament. Our vehicle had engine problems 60 miles outside of Albuquerque (2007 Chevy Silverado). On Star arranged a tow to the Galles dealership. I called ahead and explained our situation and the helpful service gal put us in touch with Chris to go over our options. Chris explained they would be ready to work on our vehicle when we arrived. When we arrived they immediately took our truck back to the service bay and started working on it. They serviced our vehicle quickly to try and get us back on the road to make a 6:00 hockey game in Scottsdale. Unfortunately when we got the vehicle back it was still showing engine errors, Chris quickly had Enterprise bring a rental over for us and we took that for the weekend. Chris kept us updated throughout the weekend on our vehicle status. He called us early Tuesday morning to let us know we could pick up our vehicle knowing we needed to get on the road and get back to Denver.

I really appreciate the helpful service people at Galles from the gals that answered the phone and helped connect us with Chris to get status on our truck.

Galles Cheverolet has got to be one of the most crooked, dishonest service centers I've ever encountered. I would give them negative stars if I could. My service airbag light came on earlier this week. I initially though it to be a bad sensor that sits right under the front bumper, easily accessible. I had no way of knowing which of the two could have gone bad or if it were another problem all together. I looked up the sensor in auto stores and on line, anywhere from $60-$80 dollars. I thought to myself, there's no way if it is a sensor that it could cost more than $200 to replace it. Part and labor included. Boy was I wrong, after charging me $116 for them to plug in their computer to my truck and find the error code and tell me it was the front left sensor, they quoted me $526 to replace the sensor. Their sensor price, $272. Plus 2 hrs labor!! I couldn't believe that they could even look me in the face and tell me that. Absolutely crooked and incredibly overpriced. I'm amazed they see any business at all. I grudgingly paid the $116 diagnostic fee drove straight to O'reillys auto parts, purchased the sensor for $80 and installed it myself in 18 minutes! They had the balls to tell me it was gonna be 2 hrs labor!!! It took me 18 minutes and I don't even know how to change my oil! Absolutely terrible service and worse business ethics. Crooks at the most.
