Three days ago, half mindedly I decided to buy a car after driving an old, beat up car for about a year after my initial car was totaled. I was sure I wasn't going to find my car in the price range that I wanted it in but not only did I find my perfect car, but it was in my budget, it was super clean and it was exactly what the website had promised!!! The customer service was beyond excellent and completely exceeded my expectations. Our sales rep, Mary was kind enough to skip her lunch to accommodate me in her schedule and patiently took the time to explain, demonstrate and help me make my decision. My husband and I purchased a car with Heather in February. The process went well. It is unlike a dealership with constant negotiations, which we both liked. I had never heard of Driver s Select before, but my husband did research on the company. The downside is that it was extremely crowded on a Saturday. Sales reps were almost fighting for a room, which mean t the process took a bit longer than I would have preferred. So at the time of purchasing and after, I was happy with our purchase. It was not until after our purchase that I realized that this company is extremely lacking in customer service from the Sales Reps, to the Manager of Sales. This is the downside of not purchasing with a regular dealership. At a dealership, if you are not satisfied with one member in Sales, you will always be able to receive some form of help not here. After speaking with a few Sales Reps, I spoke to Gene, who is the head of sales. He promised to call me back and he never had. I even called back to remind him of our conversation, no response. I called on a Saturday before they were busy and spoke to another manager, he promised to call back on a Monday, no call. I spoke to my sales rep and asked her to see if my question can be expedited, nothing. It is disturbing that we purchased a car from this company and no one is willing to help resolved my problem, nor will they return my call. It is a slap in the face as a customer to be treated this way. Would I ever recommend a family member or friend to purchase from them? After my experience with their lack of customer, I am disappointed that we purchased our vehicle from them. No customer should be treated this way, not matter what question they ask during or after the sales process.
We had a very positive car-buying experience at driversselect. First off, the price for the quality of vehicle that we purchased could not be beat, hands down. Bruce was very helpful and straightforward with everything we needed to know. Also, with such a good price on the vehicle, we weren't expecting as much on our trade, but they gave us a very fair offer for our old car. One thing that was a little disappointing was that we pre-applied for a loan on the website several days prior to our visit in hopes of cutting down the time spent there, but we essentially answered all the same questions and went through the process all over again when we arrived. Maybe it would have helped if we had completed it a few more days in advance of our visit, but nevertheless it was a little disappointing. Also, we were a bit surprised that the vehicle we purchased was not covered under the factory warranty, since that is one of the major advertising points of the company. I don't know how often that happens, but I feel like that should be noted on the website which vehicles don't carry a factory warranty--particularly since that's one of the ways the company gets people in the door. Altogether though, we're extremely happy with our new car and will likely shop driversselect again.
I got my Camry here.. u get the price shown online which is excluding tax . Very good at paperwork and registration, I like the whole experience of buying a car here a year ago and I would like to go back again in future if for any upgrades.

When I purchased my 17 Pacifica I indicated to the dealer that the vehicle upon test drive had a slight vibration at the wheel and I could hear a grinding sound. Long story short, they had their certified technician tell me the noise was because my van is equipped with 20 rims. I took their word in good faith, now 4 months after my purchase. I took the van to a Chrysler dealer for an unrelated issue. I was still set on the fact that something was off.
I got my vehicle back today, sure enough. Both front struts and mounts alongside with the wheel hubs needed replaced. This may not sound like much but with labor, etc. My repair bill was $2,800 USD!! Thankfully my wife convinced me to get the extended warranty at purchase, this eased the financial burden.
I am not pleased with my experience, I do not recommend this place nor will I come back for a future purchase (in the market for a truck). By the way, they told me they would mail me the missing remote controllers and set of wireless headphones that were missing. Only received 1 remote.
The mats were missing, they gave me universal ones that would fit a sedan, not this type of minivan.
So for the little bit of money you may save at this place, save yourself the burden and go get yourself a certified used vehicle from a reputable dealer.

I just had the most amazing car buying experience at Echo Park....and I never do reviews but this one is worth leaving so everyone knows. I purchase a 2016 Lexus in October. That original experience was stress free with no dealer wheeling and dealing . Straight forward pricing and quick paper work so I wasn t there all day. When I got the car home to Houston there was a broken piece of plastic on the bumper. They had Echo Park in Houston look at it and see if it could be fixed, instead they offered my money back or a swap for another car which we did. 45 minutes of paper work and I walked out a happy camper. Can t say enough good things about Jeff, Caitlin and Vance! Ask for any of them and they will help you find the car of your dreams! Well worth the drive from Houston!
My son bought his first car today from Driver Select. He dealt with Ryan, who was very patient, not at all pushy, answered all our questions. We liked the fact that they only deal with vehicles with clean carfacts reports and decent mileage for pre-owned vehicles.
Friday June 19 I became a proud owner of a 2011 Jetta and I love the car and appreciate Lilian for assisting in the process. She was great and made the process seamless and painless. For many weeks i've been scoutering the internet for a specific car. One day I came across an ad for a mazda cx3 and I rushed to put in my information because it was exactly what I was looking for. My swift, easy and no pressured experience was with Selwyn Smith. He made my experience extremely easy. All that was needed from me was a thumbs up and he did all the harder work! Aside from the wonderful service recieved I was also very taken back by the vibe of the whole dealership. I didn't feel rushed into anything and everything was completely up to me. She even called us to let us know someone was test driving the car we were interested in so we wouldnt waste a trip to the dealership. My brother bought a Lexus from Drivers Select, and when I needed a car he referred me to Ivan. Ivan, and I had several phone conversation before I came in, and he was always quick to respond. We found the car I was looking for within the budget I determined. I also bought the Ally warranty , and it s already paid itself off. My radiator needed some work done to it , and I went in the Cadillac dealership, and as soon as I told them I had the ally warranty they put me in a nice loaner car, and had it fixed immediately!
Beware, this place does not accept outside financing. Their loans have interest rates almost double what you can get at the bank but they will "lower" your rate if you purchase 3000-6000 in add ons. We took our business to another dealership.

I bought a car from here and am very happy with it, only because it is the car I wanted. Aside from that, this was the absolute worst car buying experience I have ever had. NEVER would I have imagined that a car salesman could get me so heated. They almost literally would not take "no" for an answer on gap insurance. Are the kickbacks from ally auto really that good that you would force their gap insurance down your customers throat? My salesman stated that he was so adamantly suggesting (forcing) me to get gap, because he was concerned for me, and he wouldn't feel good about himself if he didn't sell me the gap insurance because I "needed it". I'm sorry, but if you're reading this, I bought NONE of what came out of your mouth, and I think you know this. You would've been better off if you just told me straight up that you are incentivized to sell GAP, and you'd sweeten my deal if I accepted GAP, instead of pretending like you cared about me. I cannot stand liars.

The 30 day happiness guarantee is a joke. I was promised things upon purchase that were never delivered. I left my new car after purchase for 15 days and came back 5 times, and absolutely nothing was done that they promised. I will never buy a car here again. I'm also going to personally make sure that I spread the word about this bad experience to prevent anyone else from going through the same frustration that I did. Love my new car, hated the experience.
Yesterday, i went to buy new car and first thing i told the front desk upon arrival is i have no appointment and the lady said no problem but you have to wait for 30-45min s max . After 55 min s i asked her any idea how long more will take because family came after me without appointment salesman came and they went inside and I know they don t have appointment because i asked them and her answer was you re next in line . After 5min s another lady came from inside the office and told me sorry i have three more customers and you may wait until 11pm - she was very happy when she told me this !!!! First you re not open until 11pm, second STOP lying (one told me i am next in line and then other lady which is from sales told me there is three more .
YOU NEED TO EDUCATE YOUR EMPLOYEES and hire good quality but not kids without experience or doesn t know the way talking to to customers. In same time when someone told you i don t have appointment it s very easy to say we do apologize but we are fully booked for the day and we prefer to book an appointment or if you would like to wait but there is no waiting time frame . Customer will understand this is his/her fault because came in without appointment and you gave your recommendation but don t lie.

Well to say I stay 6 hrs away from dealership in Baton Rouge, Louisiana this was a real EASY experience. Once I contacted dealership a rep got back with me immediately. I drive 18 wheelers cross country and rep made it happen. Took his advise about others customers and caught me a short 2 hr flight ($62) since they are close to airport. Filled out info, gave him info bank had gave me for approval on Tuesday and by Wednesday had green light to close deal. Rep sent me a very detail video of truck inside and out of truck. After that I got on phone with dispatcher to get routed home from North Carolina cause I didn t wanna miss this deal. Made it home Friday afternoon, took nap, caught flight, took Uber to dealership, 2 1/2 hrs later (he was with customer) I was in route home a happy customer. Mike was transparent/upfront on everything from start to finish. I will say anybody looking to buy a car check them out cause vehicles are quality, low miles, below KBB value and just a few yrs old. Glad I ran across this steal of a deal 2017 Chevy crew cab, 12k miles, and only wanted $34k compared to dealers back home wanting between $42k to $48k. Crazy thing was one of the trucks back home was almost identical only thing different was back home truck had 200 miles more but still 12k and they had the black leather I wanted but the$7k less difference for me to deal with tan leather was fine with me. I ve gave a few friends heads up to check Mike out if they need car and if I decide to get another car I will call Mike first
While the service was good, they are absolutely unwilling to work with their customers. Prices are final, and no matter what flaws you find the most they may take off is $100 or so. They say this is because they only price them 200 or so over what they are bought for, but if they make a bad buy you are expected to pay for their mistake. Will not be going back.

I have bought a 2015 Lexus RC350, when we test driven the car, we were not able to use the navigation system, I was told by my sales rep, Nicole, that they take it out so it does not get stolen. When we paid for the car told them to put the SD card in, we were told, we owe you one, we will have to order it. It will take couple of days, and all we have to do is stick it in the slot. Its been over 3 weeks, no sign of the SD card, so no navigation system. I have been calling the dealership and leaving the messages but have been given a run around. I hope this will get their attention.
*EDIT* 2 months later I have not been reimbursed for the SD card. I have emailed a contact at Driversselect and still haven't received a response or refund. I have also tried calling Nicole, Wes, Kyle and haven't received a reply from anyone.

Well, I just wanna say that Cam and Gene took great care of me. I picked out the car that I wanted online, submitted my application remotely and given an answer within an hour! i was given a great interest rate and the monthly car payment was below my budgeted amount. Everything had to be done remotely until I could make it into to town (I work as a Flight Attendant) so flexibility was very important. When I came home, all I had to do was come in, sign the contract and leave with a brand new Mercedes C300! It took all of 20 minutes to complete the deal (this includes me test driving the car before I signed). The service was so good that a couple of weeks later, my nephew came in to purchase his Altima. And who serviced him? You ve guessed it....Cam and Gene!! I appreciate the great customer service and how these guys paid attention to detail and tailor made a deal perfect for my needs! I highly recommend stopping Drivers Select/Echo Park. You won t leave disappointed.

I have bought an Audi A4 with them. Everything was good, sales staff was nice. But at the time of handing over my keys one of the key was not functioning. I asked about same, they promised to get the key checked fixed and sent to me ASAP. It s almost 45 days I haven t received my car key. Called numerous times on the customer care left VM with phone number but haven t received any call back. Just dropped another email at their customer contact page, fingers crossed. I am very unhappy with their after service customer care.
Update on June 12th: Still no clue if the key. Somebody called me from driverselect loyalty team couple of days after I left review first time. Made big promises to send me car key. But nothing happened after that. Finally today reached driverselect but haven t seen kind of customer service or sense of urgency from these for my missing car key. Have spoken to lady from service. She has dialed some numbers to get the key and I feel little positive to get the key this time. Let s see if I will get the second car key for which I have already paid two month back. Fingers crossed.
Update on July 16th: Locksmith came after one no show and messed up my car. Car started showing a warning error code. It s been more than 3 weeks. Still no response from the locksmith neither driverselect. These guys don t return calls neither respond to emails feels like they are ignoring intentionally. Worst experience and I have to still drive with faulty. Very unprofessional service department.
I m giving 3 stars for salesperson Jeff. He wasn t my salesperson but he helped me more than my actual salesperson, Salim. I was there yesterday and financing didn t work the way I l d hoped. I tried to get my salesperson to call me today and never heard from him. Jeff couldn t see my info since he wasn t assigned to me but he was more helpful and responsive than Salim. I felt like an inconvenience to Salim who wanted nothing to do with me or my business. I would highly recommend Jeff if you need a salesperson.
We bought our car last month and our experience was great! Robert is a very good sales man and had a lot of patience with us! A manager as well, I m sorry I don t remember his name right now. they both did everything to help us to achieve our goal of purchasing the car, in conditions that were affordable for us. They were such a blessing in our lives. For sure our next purchases will be there again.
Awesome experience at EchoPark! I was able to schedule an appointment for a test drive over the phone. Spoke to Michelle. She was very friendly and got the appointment scheduled quick. Once we arrived all staff were super friendly and very helpful. Harold, my sales representative, was spot on. He had the car ready and took the test drive within minutes of arriving. Thereafter, he was very thorough in detailing all aspects of the sale including the financing information, information on the vehicle itself, and post sale information. I was helped by 3 different employees throughout my car-buying experience at Driversselect and they were all delightful, respectful, and so helpful! Everyone was personable and wanted to help me however they could but weren't breathing down my neck either. I was well-informed of the wide variety of vehicles to choose from at Driversselect Dallas but didn't feel at all pressured or nagged to buy a vehicle, unlike some experiences I've had at other car dealerships.
I purchased a BMW 428i a little over 2 years ago. At the time I did not want to purchase GAP insurance. The saleswoman Ms.Duarte, spoke logic and persuaded me into getting the GAP insurance. I totaled that BMW 2 weeks ago and that GAP insurance saved my butt. They are wise at Echo Park. They most certainly know what they are talking. My advice is to get the GAP. You will not regret it! Wish I could give less than 1 star. I went with my niece to buy a car. The first "salesman" told us we could only look at 2 cars because he was was very busy. She ended up liking 1 of the 2 but her fiance had her car, but was on his way to bring it for trade in. He told her that he had 2 other customers and that the car she wanted would be sold by then. He then left and told her that he was going to take care of his other customers. We left and went at other cars at other dealerships , but she really liked that first car, so (against my protesting) we went back and asked for another salesman. We had to speak to a manager and he said he would take care of us. I have to say, the manager was very nice. However, we waited several minutes for another salesman and at one time I looked over and saw one making fun of the way I was sitting. (which was crossed arm ) . He gestured like I was "pouting". I assure you I was not. I might have a little frustrated with the situation at this point, but still willing to work with someone. In the end, we did get a nice salesman who worked with us very well but a deal could not be made. I would not recommend Drivers Select. I HATED the whole concept, it was very impersonal, I feel like this type of dealership is the type that doesn't really care about their customer, especially given the type of salespeople they hire. If I was ignored AND made fun of in my experience, what is happening with others?
Bruce roath went above and beyond to help me get into a great car. The process ended up becoming complicated with my trade in, and he was able to smooth it out professionally with the old leinholder. Highly recommend based on how well the company operates.
I liked the sales people we worked with, but the detailing of my car was horrible! They said they took it back to get scrubbed up and we pointed out it appeared the previous owner spilled A LOT. All of the spills were there when I got home. I have been detailing my car all weekend
They have really good prices for there cars but I had a really bad experience today. I had to wait for an hour for the test drive and my agent could not locate the car in the lot and he asks me to look for the car by myself in the lot and call him after I find the car as I did not have an appointment. The car was listed in the website but even the front desk had no clue if the car was already sold or not.

Thanks Naod , We chose driversselect, because of the best deal on the SLT 4-wheel drive Ram. Much lower than competitors. We arrived late on friday a afternoon. Made an appointment with them, rescheduled for the next day and then come back 30 minutes later and told them never mind we need appointment for today. no problem and then Naod come around the corner. I think we were in a pickup truck in 2 hours it seemed like. Honestly I couldn't tell you how long it took. Naod was so nice, professional and Swift. I'm a 35 year contractor and there's a saying.

I wish my rate could follow suite of this 4 stars but unfortunately, I had a horrible experience. Strike 1 - I called ahead and made an appt to see two specific cars they had on the lot. We got there and had to drive 3 cars because the sales person, Selwyn had retrieved the wrong vehicle. Strike 2 - Selwyn had finished all the paper work and it was put in line to be approved. Selwyn said we could run over to grab something to eat while we wait. He had the cell number and email in case something went wrong. Well, he text the wrong person. I sure hope he didn't share sensitive information to the wrong person? Strike 3 - something did go wrong. Very wrong. Selwyn wrote up the wrong vehicle. We waited all that time just to find out the saleman, Selwyn enter the wrong vehicle. Not to mention how upset we were, but then a sales manager comes over, not to apologize for Selwyn and the BAD, unacceptable screw up that occurred, but he began to lecture us on how long it takes to buy a car. Huh? That was it?! Apology not given or offered? No attempts were made for this HUGE mistake? Well, I know to never return there again and I will be happy to share my bad experience with anyone willing to listen.
We went to Young Chevrolet and were very happy dealing with professionals who even dress the part.
We brought car from drivers elect and there navigation chip was missing they promised 2day or max 5day will put the chip in but almost 4week now but every body give us run around Wes or Kyle or Chris I call you tomorrow but they never do .we have to file to BBB .they promise lots of thing when they want your money after that they don t know you.

I was very impressed with the sales manager Paul Mbungo. He was a great communicator, straightforward professional and has exceptional people skills. He had to take over my case from another sales person who wasn't very good. Paul was able to turn the situation 180 and really take care of me and my wife. I hope coorprate reads google reviews. I certainly hope Paul gets promoted to something bigger. He gets what customers are looking for. Definitely a great asset to thr company. I am spreading thr words.
