I would not buy any car from here again. They sell you duds. We bought a car last month and it already looks horrible and rusted because of a defect they failed to disclose at the time of sale. I took it to them and they said sorry it s been one month and few days our warranty only covers 30days and 1000 miles.

No it was never repaired to standards. I feel it s shady they failed to disclose this car was broken into and tried to mask the places that were damaged. Make sure any car you buy from them look for hidden damages.

This review is difficult to write because I'm told my experience is very rare, and after learning about our experience, management did their best to right a wrong that couldn't be fixed. However, that doesn't change how terrible it was.
[Tuesday] My husband and I came in with interest in a particular car, Toyota Corolla, that we found online. We worked with Jay Cooper who helped us test drive a few different vehicles, when we decided our favorite was still the Corolla. However, the one we wanted wasn't quite ready yet. So, Jay told us we could put a $500, non-refundable security deposit down to secure the car, after giving all our information to finance the vehicle. He told us he would let us know well in advance when it was ready so we could come and test drive it and make sure everything was good to go. We did everything he told us to.
The next day we talked with Jay about numbers and financing. The day after that we reached out to him and clarified questions, I even asked if he had any sense of idea when the car would be ready (no, he didn't).
[Friday] My husband gets a call from Jay stating that there had been a policy change, and they no longer accepted $500 security deposit, so it was boiling down to first come first serve. 7 MINUTES later, my husband was there trying to fix this, only to find someone else test driving the car, and because they had keys in hand, they had the right to buy it--which they did. We did EVERYTHING we were told to do to secure that car. Had we know it was first come first serve, we would have acted accordingly. Had we know we hadn't secured the car, we would have acted accordingly. The second we DID know, we did everything we could, and it wasn't enough. We weren't even informed that the car was front-line ready and could be test driven.
Needless to say, we were devastated and I was furious.
Naturally I called management. They were confused as to why this happened because that policy was changed weeks ago. There was NO reason this should have happened and the salesman knew that. Of course, management did what they could to make us happy customers, but it boiled down to getting a different used vehicle, with more miles and slightly less quality for a higher list price. I will happily admit that the people we worked with next were as great as they could be to us. We tried to find the silver lining in what happened, but the fact is--it shouldn't have happened. We didn't want to buy a car from them after that, but our credit was already damaged and the financing was drawn up because of what happened earlier that week. Ultimately, we did buy a car through them, but I wouldn't recommend them after what happened to us.

You sit in the showroom with their computer, pick out car from their extremely large selection, and they pull it up to the door for you to test drive. You can repeat this process until you find your car! It only took 3 cars for us to find ours. No more driving all day, all over town in the heat!! This was a one stop shop!

I have to say that Drivers Select is new to us, but we had the best experience ever in buying and selecting a car. Our future vehicle purchases will definitely be through them!
It was really hassle free, with a great selection of vehicles that look almost as new.

Our sales person Greg Brown was so helpful, gave us great support, good advise and had the patience to show us all the vehicles we wanted until we made our decision. Besides, we saved thousands of dollars compared to the dealerships!!

I was surprised and happy to see their team spirit and motivation... you definitely experience a very peaceful environment from the moment you walk in.

Let me start by saying that my husband and I had been searching for the right vehicle for our growing family for months prior to visiting the Echo Park Drivers Select location in Grand Prairie. We drove up from Waco on a Monday afternoon with our 2 youngest daughters after having found 2 potential vehicles we wanted to test drive and after having established contact with one of the salesman at the dealership prior to driving up. Echo Park is an extremely large, and at times overwhelming, dealership. Has a bit of a "cattle call" feel as there are no traditional offices only cubicles with very minimal privacy offered for discussing details of a sale. That said, it was very nice and clean, they offer a variety of beverages and plenty of seating for their guests. There are thousands of vehicles for sale at this location and as such the driveways around the building can be very busy with cars constantly being pulled in and out for test drives by valets who are less than careful at times. We had to wait a short time for our sales rep, Chris, to find us when we arrived at the dealership and then had a bit longer wait when he went to pull the first of the two vehicles we wanted to test drive. He was very patient and pleasant to work with. We were able to look at the car at our leisure and take it out for a drive without any sales pressure whatsoever. The whole process of drawing up the sale paperwork did take quite a while but some of it was due to my forgetting to bring our insurance card. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time, are prepared and bring all necessary insurance paperwork with you, have a car or cars already selected to test drive, do establish contact with a sales rep and make an appointment prior to arriving at the dealership, and if you're serious about buying a car from them and are planning to finance fill out the application on their website before you ever show up. They do not negotiate price. What you see online is what you pay when you go to buy. There are a fair amount of "extras" available for purchase such as extended warranties, upholstery protection, etc that you will need to evaluate the pros and cons of for yourself before you sign the purchase agreement. Chris did an excellent job of explaining these to us and allowing us to choose what made sense for us. You can ask to see the total price with and without certain extras; Chris was very accommodating with us and showed us our options many different ways. Make sure you read everything thoroughly and pick the extras and payments that best fit your financial situation. While you are doing the paperwork they take your car in and clean it up, wash it etc and pull it up ready to go. Wish they had topped off the gas tank before we drove away (it was 2/3 of a tank full) but all in all we were pleased and we left feeling good about our purchase but exhausted.

This is my first time in Driverselect and first used car. I always buy new cars. Well, I am very pleased by this experience. The place is huge and very organized and clean. We were greeted by a friendly staff. They placed us with a great sales person his name is Naod Gebrebrhan. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I did not feel pressured at all. I already had in mind one car to test drive. I test drove a 2017 BMW 330i, which was amazing. The car drives great and looks great. Very low mileage and very comfortable. After the test drive he went over the paper work and the extended warranty. Checked my credit and figured out the payment options. I was out of the door after only 2 hours and 15 minutes. I have never took that short time in any new car dealership before. I was surprised and glad. Usually it takes half a day haggling and going back and forth to buy a new car. But not this time. Naod really worked hard to help us and we were very pleased by the service we received. Driverselect will be my place to go from now on. My wife is already thinking about coming here soon for a new SUV. I can t say enough about this place and our salesman. They pick there vehicles no more that 4 years old and in almost new condition. Great job guys.

I already knew what car I was interested in and had applied for financing before arriving so my visit was basically a test drive and paperwork...took about 2 hours. My salesperson, Josh, was great to work with. My only comment (being in sales myself for about 25 years) was that he kept telling me how many cars the business sold daily and how many he sold. It was a little offputting to me. I want to feel like I am the only one he cares about. Otherwise, everything was super.

My wife and I couldn t have asked for a better salesmen than Mr. Demeon Washington. I was hesitant about the car buying process, because of my past experiences, but this was hands down the best experience I ve had. We didn t have to deal with haggling. We didn t have to deal with the salesman ignoring what we want, in order to sell what he wanted. Just a true respect and understanding what we were looking for and getting us into it. The entire process (from selecting a vehicle, test driving, and the contract signing) took a little more than an hour. With a wife who is 7.5 months pregnant, this was extremely helpful.

If you are looking to purchase a new or used vehicle, I would 100% recommend this dealership. Ask for Demeon Washington. Professional, courteous, precise. . .

And he did my whole approval process through phone and didn t have me come in and waste my time like other lots have done me. He got me approved in 24 hours. Called me and got me approved for no money down and a affordable monthly payment on the exact vehicle i wanted, a red 2015 Hyundai Sonata with less than 30,000 miles on it. Dean genuinely cared enough to be concerned about my urgent need for a vehicle, and i seen it was more than just making a sale for him. i love their test drive route, it makes you feel kinda special the way they treat you there. When i walked in the but I thought i was in a convention and had to call Dean and ask if i was in the right place. Just a warm atmosphere. Call them today and ask for Dean specifically if you want a rep that will care for your need of a vehicle . He called me twice in the days after to see if i was happy with the vehicle. Thanks Dean

He was not friendly and acted like we were wasting his time. The whole experience left us not wanting to buy a car from here. Do not waste your money at Drivers Select Echo Park in Grand Prairie. They do not care about you or your hard earned dollar. I live out of state, the best deals were in Texas so I chose to give this dealership a shot. Car was great financing was decent and I was out within a couple hours. Two weeks later, my local DMV has not received any title or registration information from Drivers Select. I call their "guest loyalty" line and nobody will pick up the phone. I have left numerous messages on the line over the span of (4) FOUR!!! days with no returned calls what so ever. I have left emails, called their sales line, and short of driving 4 hours away I have no choice but to wait. I have 5 days left to title my care before paying penalties (which driver's select does not seem to care about since they got their money already). I usually do not leave reviews but I am hoping somebody in the dealership sees this so I can just have my questions answered! Until then, this will go down as the worst dealership experience I have ever had. There is 0 follow up support after the sale; completely unacceptable.

I won't lie. Even as I was making the 500 mile drive to Driversselect from Louisiana to purchase the exact car I was looking for for the best price I could find, I was nervous. It seemed too good to be true, and even my bank shared the sentiment and advised me that if anything felt "wrong" or "shady" I could turn them down.
Wow! What a surprise when I got there. This place is the future of used car dealerships. Insanely large inventory and they move cars all day long - so they don't focus on making a big profit off of each vehicle like your local dealer. Not only that, they gave me a legitimately fair offer for my trade in (within $500 of the KBB trade-in value) despite it having 200k miles. Good luck getting more than a few hundred from your local dealer for something that's been driven that far.
I was there for a couple hours max and on my way back home that evening. I would absolutely recommend to anyone - If you found the car you want here for a really good price and you're skeptical or apprehensive about it - Don't be. You won't regret it.

Pros: great cars at great prices, great environment, work with great lenders.

Cons: very pushy about extended warranty, like never ending. Will show someone with great credit 750+ a 5-6% rate when they first show you the deal. If you say no they scurry to the back and turn it into a monthly payment game. If you finally get strong armed into the warranty(which you can buy directly through ally for half the cost) they will show you a way better rate. I tried to use my financing which I was unable to as they don t allow it. I purchased elsewhere.

The video on their web site says it all. They can sell for less because they have streamlined their sale process and you will see it in action. Made a reservation (Saturdays are crazy at this place), the car was ready for us when we arrived, did a test drive, previous research already told us the price was very low so we could avoid that entire negotiating process, we filled out the loan paperwork and were done (shout out to Bruce for making it easy). CarMax and AutoNation claim to have no haggle pricing but Driver Select had MUCH better prices. Could not have been easier to find a great deal and buy a car. Congrats to these guys for actually doing what they say they will do.

I know it s one of those things in life that takes awhile, but I was there for 8 hours and that s with already being prequalified and knowing the exact vehicle I wanted to purchase! Car buying experience was fantastic, that s where it all goes downhill. When I bought my car, it was missing the map SD card so I got an IOU in writing from them stating they would get me one and it would be there within the week. It is now about 5 weeks later and I still haven t received it. Every call I make to the sales person I worked with who promised it to me and their customer loyalty department is not answered or returned after leaving many voicemails. Me and my husband purchased a dodge dart which we absolutely love, low miles, the price was great but car buying experience it self wasnt great when we got home to lock the car the key didn't work we only received one key and was told that an additional key would cost 185 which is ridiculous you would think it would come with two keys! I called them the following day which i told them we changed the batterys put that did not fix the problem. Later that day my husband got a call telling him we needed to go back to sign corrected paperwork because we were over charged on gap. So we went signed more papers, told them about our key problem again for them to just put a new battery because apparently we're not capable of putting a battery in right. Which it did not fix the problem and told to take it up to dodge! Happy i got a good deal but also glad the experience is over.

From the first call with Josh at Drivers Select to the signed contract the experience was awesome. He had the car I wanted and had the approval at below the payment I wanted within hours. He kept to his word and contacted me daily until the car was ready to be picked up. There were absolutely no surprises. I've bought over 15 new cars the last 20 years and this was the best experience I've ever had. I will proudly recommend Drivers Select to anyone wanting or needing a new car.

They keep the car to some other location and we need to call them and take appointment so that they can have your car available in the office for test drive.
Even after calling and taking appointment, It took 1 hour for them to attend us when we reached there.
The Guy started the conversation with line first line as "Before we start I want to clear few things!!
1. We do not negotiate.
2. We do financing from our partners only".
That was shock as we did't even said Hello and greeted each other.
I told him that I moved in to US 3 months back from other country. So he said "You will get the Interest rate between 10% to 14%"
I said "I do not have good credit score as I am new here. But I am getting Car Loan with Interest rate 5.75% from DCU."
He said "No we do financing only from our Partners. If you are OK with it then only I can show you the car" And he was not ready to show us the car and take the Test drive. Then we told him that in this case we will pay in Full and will not go for Finance. So he agreed to show us the car and go for test drive.

I was able to browse online through mobile to effortlessly find the vehicle I wanted and preapply for financing. Joshua McKay with Internet Sales called me almost instantaneously, and was then incredibly responsive via text messages--both while I was in route and at the dealership. Joshua made my first car buying experience pain-free and unintimidating. He was straightforward, honest, and professional. I cannot recommend him and driversselect enough to first-time car buyers!

I went into Driver Select knowing exactly the car I wanted to purchase. My husband and I waited about 30 minutes to get set up with a sales associate, and she went and got the car for us to test drive. Immediately after sitting in the car you could tell it was a smoker s car. I told Lilia, the saleswoman, that I didn t want a smoker s car. She told me she would only show me one more car. I understand they sell cars FAST and want to work fast, but not many people want smoker s cars which is why this specific car is $3000 less than others the same make and model.
We also found out later that Lilia s shift was close to ending. I understand wanting to go home on time , but to get frustrated with me because I didn t want a smokers car was annoying to me.
We waited about an hour for her to get another car for us to test drive, but she came back and said that one had been purchased. (Two days later the car she said had been purchased was still on the website, but the one I eventually bought was taken off that night.)
After getting ready to buy the next car I wanted Lilia told us my mom (the co-signer of my trade in) would have to come to the dealership to sign off the car. She told me that AFTER I told her I didn t need to finance through them. It seemed fishy to me that she waited until after I test drive and was ready to buy to tell me that. I told her that wasn t an option because my mom lives 2 hours away, but she said there was nothing she could do.
We left without purchasing a vehicle after being their for over 4 hours, but then noticed the title to my trade in did not have the co-signers name on it, only mine. So we drove back to the dealership, spoke with the head of sales, and had purchased the car no problem within 45 minutes. I m not sure what was taking Lilia so long, or why she didn t want my money, but at the end of the day I got the car I wanted and it s in great condition.

Bottom line is if they have what you need, it's we...

Bottom line is if they have what you need, it's well worth the imperfections. You have to know a few things going in:
(1) book an appointment or you'll probably wait a lot. It's very busy on the weekends.
(2) The in-house financing is above market rate (so refinance it after) and it won't be easy to bring your own financing with you. So either pay cash or suck it up and use theirs.
(3) It does take longer than you'd expect to make a purchase once you give the okay. Expect 2-4 hrs
(4) They do have a short warranty, but forget that. You really need to thoroughly vet the car before you buy. Bring someone who knows cars if you don't. Approach it like a cash purchase from a private seller and take as much time as you need to determine it's mechanically sound. They won't pressure/rush you, and that's very good. If something isn't right about the car (things missing/not working), don't buy it. Assume it comes as is and they'll not fix it after the sale. Remember if there's a manufacturers warranty still running you can get the dealer to fix something that's broken if it's covered. But you're probably better off waiting for a different and better car.
(5) Do your homework. If you have questions about what features the car has, look them up by VIN before you go. There should be nothing they can tell you about the car you're looking at that you shouldn't already know.

If that isn't enough to convince you, they will give you TOP pay for your trade-in. Purchasing my new Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited was NO hassle at all! Manager Gene and Sales Rep Tommy C. are the two men that will make your next purchase easy, fast, and possible! This dealership is like none other, there literally is no competition!

Update: Geremy from the outlet called me up and ordered the original part. I am changing my rating and posting this update because of his mature, calm and great way of handling the situation. I thoroughly had enjoyed the buying experience, but was put of by the customer loyalty staff not getting me the license plate bracket which fits my car.

Original Review: I bought a Car from them on 22nd June 2020 and have been trying to reach them since July to get a License Plate bracket from them. I had clearly told them my model and that they need to install it. Its so irritating that today they gave me a universal plate bracket which apparently doesn't fit my Car easily and they refused to fix it. They say I have to book appointment to fix a basic license plate bracket. I checked outside with garages and multiple ones denied that this plate bracket will fit. Really poor coordination from Guest Loyalty Team. The entire positive experience I had while buying it is fading now cause they couldn't fit a license plate bracket before delivering the car to me

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE- DO NOT COME HERE- My salesman Johnnie and his manager were EXTREMELY unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. I wanted to buy a car here last week and they REFUSED to sell it unless I got an additional 4k insurance policy added TO MY PURCHASE from a third party. AVOID AT ALL COST. I gave the experience 1 star simply because the staff was friendly and because of the "no haggle" sales experience. The price was good but that price comes at a sacrifice for service and quality. Shortly after purchase, I notice a suspension problem with the car. I called my salesman, Cody who advised me that he would schedule a service appoint and would call back. He did not call back and after 2 days of him dodging my phone calls and text messages I decided to take the car back to the dealership. On the way back a piece of the undercarriage cover fell off and it drug underneath my car until I reached the dealership. Upon arrival, I asked for Cody however, I was informed by a customer service representative named Destiny that she could help me with getting and appointment to have my car looked at. I explained to her that I could not drive it in its current condition and she agreed to take it back and have the mechanics look at it. In the meantime, I found a Sales Manager named Joseph and told him the story of my growing frustration. I explained that since this was beginning to go so bad, that I would like to consider just going with a different car. Joseph assured me that this was not possible unless I was willing to trade it in and potentially lose $1500 in tax, title and license fees. Not being able to mentally justify losing $1500 in less than 72 hours over a poorly vetted vehicle, I decided that it was going to be a battle that the dealership was not going to allow me to win and furthermore, I had no more energy to fight. After this discussion, Destiny reappears with the car and says that the undercarriage cover had been removed and the new piece would need to be ordered. When asked if the mechanic had checked the knocking noise from suspension she explained that they would have to check that when I returned for my appointment. I gave her my contact information and waited for her call. This call never came. Eventually, I decided to call her to check on the status of the part order and appointment. Of course I was routed directly to voicemail. A day later, I received a phone call from a Mariam stating that the part was in and I need to call back and set an appointment. Of course Mariam did not answer but a Mike eventually did and to no surprise, did not have a clue how to set an appointment or confirm available times but would check on it for me and would call back. He called back a few minutes later with a 10 am appointment time for the next day. I returned to the dealership on Saturday for the appointment and again met with Destiny. I meet with Destiny again who takes my car back to the service department. Destiny returns with the car about 1.5 hours later to explain that the cover had been replace however the suspension issue has not. She explained that Echo Park could fix the issue but it would take 2-3 weeks because it is a factory warranty issue and they the car would be shipped to an MB dealership for repairs. She explained that the reason for the long wait is because the MB dealership doesn't give Echo Park priority because they are also a dealership, this is the reason that it would take so long. Echo Park offers no loaner cars so I would be out of a car until it was finished because they offered no loaner cars. The ridiculous notion that I have only had the car 14 days and to have it repaired would have been to give it up for 2-3 weeks with no substitute or compensation. The alternative was to take it directly to a MB dealership, because it still was under warranty and have then repair it. In essences the 30 day/1000 mile warranty is just part of the factory warranty. Never again will I purchase there and I do not advise anyone else to do so either.

There were several vehicles I was considering that were sold before or during my visit, but Brandon kept an open line of communication and gave me other options to review and ultimately test drive. I ended up walking away with a car that had more features than the first option and at the exact price I was wanting to spend. Very happy!

Joy Moore has been great to work with and she wasn t pushy at all. That s one of my issues with car dealerships. She was very responsive and kept me updated through the entire process. The sales manager was good to work with as well. He helped secure a lower rate than i received through my approval I got from CapOne. Dealing with them exceeded most of expectations.

The only reason I didn't give the entire experience a 5 star, or an excellent, is because they persisted in trying to add all these warranties and insurances I specifically said I did not want. I understand they have to sell this stuff, but I don t like it when people do that. When I m clear on something, and give an explicit response, then that s my final answer.

Outside of that, the overall experience was great and would recommend them even though they re all the way in Grand Prairie.

Although I ended up purchasing elsewhere, my car shopping experience with Eric at driversselect was great and I would recommend at least visiting this location if you're in the market for a lightly used car. Driversselect offers a no pressure, no haggle shopping experience which is a huge relief from the usual dealer experience. There were plenty of cars to see and test drive on the lot, and constantly new stock arriving. Prices were reasonable as well. The rest of the staff was also very friendly.

It was the best car buying experience from driverselect. Steven donaldson has helped me from the begining till then end. He was very professional and knowledgeable, he was able to get me the lowest intrest rate without submiting my profile to too many banks. And he hold the car for me till i get all the paper work done. There was some scatch on the car he was able to get it done very professionally and fast . Even couple days after buying the car i was still able to get some of the information regarding the maintenance and he was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone because of the best customer service and best deal on the market ! My 2016 infiniti qx80 was 3k cheaper than the market .

Sales process was a nightmare !

No problem with the car and price.

I really liked the car and price of the vehicle - only reason to go ahead with the purchase but the sale process was horrible. It was all lies.

Sales guy (Silvestre Alcozer) want to sell driversselect's finance, even though when I said I have outside finance approved from DCU. He said it will be a soft inquiry on my credit and he can provide the best rate but instead went for hard inquiry, not 1 but 5 inquires from 5 different banks. It got my credit score down so bad from 730 to 705. And he said I was not approved. Seriously ? With 730 credit score. No reason to lie here. After I insisted to talk to his manager and why he does not accept outside finance, he agreed to accept DCU - this process took two days.

Also as I was visiting Dallas on Saturday on business purpose, I requested if I can pick the car by providing the electronic copy of the cashiers check and the physical check will be directly mailed to driversselect from the bank (DCU) on Tuesday. But they did not accept it, instead when I visited on Saturday to test drive, he tried to sell their finance with higher rate and asked to refinance in order to pick the car on same day. I did not agree to it and I had to drive back again on Tuesday with DCU's physical cashier's check to pick up the car after paying a $500 deposit to reserve the car.

On Tuesday before driving to Dallas from Austin to pick up the car I texted Silvestre Alcozer to get the paperwork done but he said he is not working on that day. So I asked him if he can ask someone else to look into it as I was on my way already, but there was no response from him after multiple text messages and calls. That's so FRUSTRATING. Finally I have to reach out to customer service. And I really thank Greg Brown as he stayed late after hours, went over all the paperwork and handed the vehicle smoothly.

Greg at driversselect was awesome to work with. Very professional and honest and not a pressure salesman. Our experience was a great one. I was a little hesitant because it didn t seem like the normal dealership. But we would definitely buy here again because I like the no haggle price and getting what you want at a lower price.

This is where I was introduced to Hans, my new BMW, by Chris Salva. He was my lovely salesperson. He had my new baby all detailed and sitting up front for me. After an extended test drive and some time alone, I felt we could go home together. This is a new way to purchase a vehicle. I chose my new car online, filled out my application, and was called by Jay in finance within 5 minutes. He was able to get a much better rate then my credit union! Gene and Jay went over my loan options with me, and I obviously chose an extended warranty and gap insurance. Hans will be protected for 75,000 miles at any BMW service center, and I will receive a loaner while we apart-all for a VERY low deductable. The best purchase experience ever. They have quality vehicles for very low prices, only to be beat by their excellent customer service. I highly recommend Echo Park to everyone. Stop the silly car lot games and go to my new dealer! You will only enjoy your experience as much as I did.

All around great experience from first contact on website to the personal one on one attention. Jeff Jewell is a a real gem for this company! Really like dealing with just one person the whole time. The facilities are open and inviting, and you can tell everyone enjoys working there. Prices cannot be beat, either! We drove over 250 miles one-way and were not disappointed. Highly recommend!
