Terrible customer service! They tell you they will call you back and then they do not. After 4 hours of this, they transfer you to a different salesman, You tell him you want the car. He refers you to finance you fill out info needed. Salesman tells you he has car and will call you back. HE DOES NOT CALL YOU BACK! You try to call his cell phone, no answer, you leave a message. He still does not call you back. On Monday morning you call and find out they sold the car to someone else. This is a scam! More than 12 hours of my time wasted. STOP here, go to the Better Business web site in Dallas Texas, look at all the bad reviews!

Two stars because the front desk lady was nice, the bathroom was clean and we were assisted quickly and then it went downhill from there. The experience we just encountered with the sales manager and the salesman is unforgettable. Neither of them knew the difference between 4WD ( four wheel drive) and FWD (front wheel drive). We went in looking for a Ford explorer. Our salesman shows us a tablet with all the ones in stock. We told him we wanted 4wd and he shows us 2 different ones. We went out to look at them and they weren't there. Back inside my husband looks up what we wanted on the computer screen and sees that it says FWD or RWD no 4WD. Salesman is like "do you mind explaining the difference between them? This can be a learning experience for me" my husband's mouth dropped luckily he was wearing a mask. We explained what the difference was. The salesman leaves and the sales manager comes over and gives us a schpill then she tries to show us the new inventory and says she has "4 new FWD coming in soon." My husband says "no that's front wheel drive" she says "oh, yeah I guess you're right." Two hours of our lives wasted. I definitely think you should make sure you're employees are educated and know what they are selling.

went to the location to look at a car, was informed I should make an appointment, told them I was on my lunch break, waited 45 mins to see car, asked to see price, dealer added $250 for appearance fee, was told this was to make the car marketable, and $125 for title application fee, I can take title to Lincense office myself, and I am not paying them 250 to wash and wax the car.

May 2018 We were so impressed when purchased a car last year that when it came time for my wife to get another car she only wanted to go to one place, Drivers Select. My wife was looking for one specific vehicle at a certain price range. When we entered the dealer ship we saw Josh within minutes. He not only remembered our names but also remembered the vehicle we purchased and that it was for our teen daughter. This was March 2017! Anyway, Josh and new salesperson, Ricky demonstrated great customer service as well as a sense of urgency. For being a new guy Ricky did a great job with all the paperwork. He showed a lot of patience as I dealt with my bank, staying way past quitting time. We are good on cars for now but when the time comes you know where we will be heading!
Great prices, good experience. They have the process for test driving down to a science and it went smoothly. Wish it was a little faster overall, even though there's no negotiating prices- you still negotiate financing and it wasn't super fast. Plus, your salesperson may be with other people too- depending how busy they are. Left happy, great car and great price. I will buy future cars there.
I walked into Driver's select with everything going against me to getting a car that day. I was helped immediately and the process was smooth and quick. They managed to assist me with all my complications and also gave me a great deal on my trade in! The car I purchased was in great condition and is exactly what I wanted.
I have to say that my first experience was amazing, but I returned to finish a purchase the guy that was doing this ran my credit about 10x with different creditors WITHOUT my permission. This affected my credit and still is. Never returning to this dealership brand ever again. They advertise low prices, but don t tell you that they ll ruin your credit in the process just to get a sale. Horrible.

Harry was great. He located several cars in my price range, brought them out for me to drive and he didn't breathe all down my neck. He was patient while I went thru my selection process and made me feel comfortable enough to seal the deal. I drove all the way from Waco, Texas to find a car and I have to say that two hour drive was worth it! The superb customer service given by Harry can't be found anywhere else!
I've had my share of bad experiences in the past... some with very shady dealers that are prominent and well known...that type of experience has delayed my buying a new car until recently. While looking for a premium used car, I came upon Driversselect. They have a very nice inventory of slightly used cars with pricing that is usually the most competitive from what I saw.
I contacted Jay about a variety of cars while I was still "sitting on the fence" as to what I actually wanted... I changed car makes at least 8x while trying to find the one. Their approach is very non hostile... super helpful and responsive when you need it. Jay was great to work with and easy... in fact the whole process is simplified by handling many administrative items over the phone so you can come to the dealership and finalize things within an hour. I also appreciated Jay's patience while I made my mind up... it meant enough to me to wait until they got the car I wanted... and they eventually did. Jay did a great job.
For anyone looking for a as good as new used car for a more then competitive price along with a no hassle sales approach, I would highly recommend coming here before hitting the traditional car dealer network.
Where should I start, I saw this place by passing on 75 south bound service road and I thought I would stop by with my hubby to see what they had to offer. We were looking for a car because we were in a rental due to the fact that our car was total loss by our insurance company. Well my hubby and I stop by there this pass Saturday and found a car I always want a Chrysler 200 S with only 3400 miles and it was a 2016. I even did a carfax and everything about this ride was sweeeeeet. So I was given to Trey a sales rep there and I have to say that Trey was awesome. I told him about my situation and he explained that they have customers that come in with this issue all the time. He ran my credit and guess what I got approve but the company want to make sure that my GAP was going to pay the remaining balance of my old loan, anyone knows it takes GAP anywhere to 30-60 days to finish up paperwork but he didn't brush me off he actually tried adding my hubby as a co-signer but I knew that was not going to work because he has no credit not bad credit but no credit but Trey Ross did not stop there he told me to try my bank and I did and they gave me the loan for the car. They required us to put down 500.00 to hold the vehicle until they received the check from our bank, which also went toward the down payment which was initially 1200 but we only end up paying 933 for the down payment because of my bank. So all I have to say about this place is if you want a good guy, good customer service, and a good honest sales guy go see Trey Ross Drivers Select down on Hwy 75
Easy, no hassle over pricing. Pick out the inventory you want to look at and all ahead and they will have the vehicle ready and waiting. You can show up and look through their inventory and pick the vehicle you want to drive. You have already had the opportunity to look through the vehicle with no outside interference. If you decide you want the vehicle go tell a salesman and the will write it up. Beware they are very busy on the weekend. Great experience.
0 customer experience! I m here to buy a premium car but the salesman react like I m begging for a car. There are so many ways you can tell me no bargains on the price, but the way they talk to you let you feel so uncomfortable. My car had a crack on the window, it was not spread to the driver side before I ask them to price the trade in value. After I got back to my car, they must pressed the window, the crack spread to the driver side and became really bad !!!!!!

Overall a good experience- I d go back, DeMeon Washington was the salesperson that helped me and he was great- thorough, attentive, very helpful. Do the research on the packages they want to add on and don t let anything get tacked on that you don t want.
They really stay true to the no hassle and no haggle. We worked with Brandie Thompson and had a very pleasant experience. She came in on her off day to take care of us and we really appreciate it. Before coming to Drivers Select we went to the Lincoln dealership in Plano and got a salesman who treated us like elementary kids with his number scheme. Mind you I'm an accountant . We haven't bought a car in ten years so had a little intimidation with negotiation but DS took all that away. Brandie was patient and did not change her tone when we decided to go with outside financing and removed the service contract. Overall, we drove away with a car feeling like we just scored a deal!
Lilia was so helpful! Ivan forgot about my appointment but she was able to get the cars I was interested in on site ASAP. This was my second time at drivers select and if you re not financing the vehicle through drivers select then your quality of service definitely decreases hence why Ivan forgot about my appointment. Lilia was nice but the others were very dismissive. I have great credit so my bank offered me 2.2% financing and drivers select offered me between 3.9 and 4.9% so of course I used outside financing. I was able to take the car to an independent mechanic for an inspection and pay with a cashier s check from my bank no problem. Lilia even made sure my gas tank was topped off and removed the dirt from the vehicle that my passenger unknowingly tracked in before I drove off with my new car. Great experience, definitely ask for Lilia!
I have always hated buying a car because of the process and dealing with car salesman. The experience I had at Driversselect was the best I have ever had. Nicole was the best and stayed and helped us with the entire process.
James Barker helped me get two cars in a 6 month period. He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He explained everything and made sure that I understood every step. Great customer service and I will definitely recommend more people to go to driversselect and visit with James.

Ashton was very knowledgeable about each cars we inquired about; he knew specific features included on this car vs. that, and explained them objectively. He made a couple of attempts to "up sell" us (sorting results from most to least expensive, suggesting more expensive brands), but was not obnoxious or judgmental about it. He was friendly and personable throughout the transaction. We spent two hours looking at and test-driving cars, then another three and a half hours at the dealership finalizing paperwork (arrived at 3 p.m., left a little after 8 p.m.). About 30 minutes of that was due to the fact that my husband's excellent credit score warranted some personal intervention from the credit manager (Jose) to get a more acceptable rate than was automatically generated. The rest of the time included lengthy intervals when Ashton went to print paperwork or check on the detailing of the car, which apparently was done haphazardly, so he requested more time be taken to remove buffing cream, etc. Twice during our wait, a gentleman who may have been a sales manager stopped at our table and asked if everything was alright, and who our salesman was. After each conversation, Ashton reappeared with paperwork, or a request for insurance information, or some other bit of information.
So we decided to come back to Driver Select to purchase a Hyundai Sonata. We were looking at our options and were initially pleased with our salesman (George). We did not make a purchase the first time we came in and informed him that we would come back. Long story short, we weren't buying a car fast enough and George began to lose his patience. We finally decided on a Sonata and had him pull our credit. This is were it went down hill. He would not listen to our instructions about the terms we wanted or even attempted to remove the GAP & Warranty as requested. He even had a manager (Chris) come attempt to persuade us to leave it on the loan (around $3k in total being added). We told them "NO" about 5 times. They were not going to take "no" for an answer. This was a terrible experience. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Should of read my own review.
We purchased a vehicle from driver select back in 2016. I did not enjoy my experience here. The salesman that was assigned to us was going on vacation the next day and was very pushy to make that sale. Then they assigned us to another gentleman who was very helpful. We asked them if the car would be filled up with gas and cleaned before we took it home. They told us they would do that, so we waited...and waited just to realize they didn't do anything. We left because it was late and called them to inform them about our experience. The manager told us to bring it back in for a cleaning. We went back waited for 2 HOURS just to receive the car the same way we gave to them. I will never purchase a vehicle through them again. Poor service and a bad experience.
I recommend Driversselect (Echo Park) to any and everyone. Through the years, I have had the most pleasant experience working with Gene and more recently James for every purchase I've made. Last month I purchased a car for myself and the next day purchased one for my daughter. I was against buying the extended warranty for both cars because I felt it wasn't necessary. I fought the idea tooth and nail. Gene and James were so patient with me and thoroughly explained the benefits of purchasing the extended warranty. About a week after my daughter drove her car off the lot, her radio completely stopped working. It turned out she needed the radio replaced, with a replacement cost of over $1000, all paid for with no out of pocket expense, by the extended warranty. In addition to the A-1 customer service of Gene and James, they took time to act as educators. This is why I will continue to refer and purchase cars in the future from Driversselect. And remember, get that extended warranty!!
We're all busy. So when I was in the market for a vehicle I new exactly what I wanted and expected a no hassle experience. That's just what I received at driversselect EchoPark. Bobby Caudill was VERY respectful of my time and I was in and out in less than an hour. Moreover, he was very accommodating, had a great sense of humor and kept me updated every step of the way. Terribly frustrating experience. I still have not received a call back from the multiple VMs I have left because out of over 20 calls I have placed, only one was ever answered by a person, and she just sent me to someone s VM.
Firstly I chose the car we wanted online and was outreached to put a deposit to hold it until the only appointment time we could get that evening at 6:20pm. We arrived, drove the vehicle, and decided to purchase. We waited for a while and our sales person then came to tell us that it was taking a long time bc someone else had put a deposit on the same car the day before....but shouldn t that mean that the car would not have been available for me to see? Isn t that the point of the deposit? He then told us that she happened to be there at the exact moment that we were and that she was taking the car.
This was the only type of this vehicle they owned that met our requests in terms of mileage, color, year, and price. We decided to test drive a number of others vehicles and had our minds set on trading in our current vehicle (the only positive from this experience is that they gave us a good deal on our trade). In the end we settled on a vehicle of the same make but not meeting all the other checklist items that we had found in the first vehicle.
Another hour or so went buy and when it came time for the down payment, I asked if the $500 deposit would be put towards the down payment, and the sale rep turned around and said oh, I never even took it... . This now explained it all. That is why the vehicle I wanted was sold to someone else. I was internally furious but was so burnt out and had already done everything for the vehicle we decided on, so we just gave up.
Fast forward to almost a month later, I have still not received any information regarding my loan on the new car. Then one day I finally get 2 letters in the mail from the bank that our paperwork showed was funding our loan. They were both rejection letters for 2 different applications, saying that they wouldn t fund the loan. Obviously this is a concern. I texted my sales person multiple times, and after a call that he finally answered he said he would check into it. I never heard back. A few days later a texted again asking for an update. I got a text back saying you should be good . Seriously?!? I need someone to provide me information!!!
I demanded he get someone from finance to call me and provide me further information on what is going on. No one called me. I texted him that no one called me, and he didn t even have the decency to reply and apologize. I called and left VMs. No one has called me back.
I looked at credit report to see if a loan had indeed popped up so I could try to find out who was funding my loan since the original bank rejected after the fact, and I was SHOCKED! They ran my credit over 10 TIMES!!! Why would you run my credit so many times??? This affects my score.
I am so appalled by how I have been treated during this car buying experience. Starting with the car I loved being sold from under me bc my sales person didn t take my deposit that i authorized to secure it for me, to the absolute disregard of my financial concerns that I have been begging for someone to get answers on, to the inability for ANYONE at the facility to answer the phone or return my call. I have STILL not received a return call on any of my requests.
They are a HUGE dealership who has one concern, turn and burn. They are concerned only with quantity and not about the quality of services being provided. Would never go back or recommend to anyone.

This was by far the easiest way to buy a car. Josh Lopez made the experience so easy and unlike other dealerships he was very honest and true to his word about every detail on the car and finance. They went behind my back and did a loan without my consent. Even though I gave him a dealer letter from my bank. After purchasing the car I realized it was higher rate. So not only did they lie to me, they did another loan behind without my permission. After confronting the salesmen on via text message he decides to disagree with me. Also blames my bank claiming that they changed the loan. After arriving to driver select and asking for return policy the manager says they don t have one. Also does the same thing and blames the bank. After calling my bank they said that they never used the code for my loan and did a completely different loan.
Overall pleasant experience. A few issues I had, though. There were a few scratches on the car, one of them pretty deep, that weren't disclosed to me while talking about the car. I noticed once I got to the dealership and saw the car in person. Online, it stated that the windows were tinted, and they are not. And, I was there for a while and wasn't offered anything to drink. But, the process was really easy and mostly painless. Nic was great to work with, and we appreciate his help.
Set up everything over the phone with Chandler. Drove 3 hours to pick up the vehicle and back on the road in a little over an hour. Will be buying from them again.

Drove 2 hours to test drive a car that was posted online. Made an appointment with David Chapa who decided to stand me up for my appointment, even though I texted him TWICE the day I was coming, and I texted him when I had left and was headed that way. So, after taking the time to drive down, I had to wait a half hour for someone to help me. When I finally got to test drive the car and it smelt like a cigarette. Would ve been nice to have posted that in the listing or at least communicate that with me over the phone before I made the trip down. Safe to say I will never purchase from nor recommend someone go through DriverSelect. Sucked!!! Go somewhere else. Their low prices are a reflection of how much they care.
I had a great experience at Driver's Select. Josh Young was my dealer, he was always available to answer any questions I had and was very flexible working around my busy schedule. He was attentive and ending up finding the perfect car for me! I didn't feel pressured to buy, but I knew everyone there was working hard to get me the best deal possible.
I loved everything, I did the app on the internet, got a call I was approved and all I need to do was come in and sign and drive away in less then one hour. Kevin was my sell person and was excellent. This is the second car I have gotten from them, but this was the best service I have received from one of the best salesman there. Worst used car dealership you can t even imagine. This is a big size operation with too many salesman but their process is extremely slow and confusing. It took us half an hour to meet our salesman that we called ahead of our arrival time and another to test drive a car which turned out is not the car we chose.
We eventually found the car in a car lot by elimination process, yes you heard right, no storage system. We found so many scratches and dents on car body which it was surprising for them as well.
I wanna jump into conclusion: it is not a right place for buying your next car. Don t let them fool you by their business look. They have no idea how to operate this business.

We had a wonderful experience at Driversselect. It was the best vehicle purchase we have ever had in all our years of buying cars. Due to life changes our credit was not so good but Driversselect worked with us and gave us the vehicle we needed at a monthly payment we could afford. We did not have to wait for long, an hour and a half or so. While we waited we were approached continually by staff, to make sure that all was well and to see if we had any questions. They are professional, honest and patient. Everything was agreed upon before we got there so we did not walk into any surprises. The vehicle we chose was waiting outside for a test drive from us. It was fantastic!! Thank you for all your help. We love our vehicle and will be back for our second vehicle by years end. We have already told family and friends of our experience. Again, Thank you!!

This is the BEST place to buy a car! If you can ask for Nicole she is absolutely amazing and will work hard for you on getting you the car you want and the best interest rate. They also have a wonderful warranty on their cars and after researching others realized that this one was way better. This place was huge and I had trepidations about it, however my wife and I were greeted by the most friendly, helpful and HONEST!! Sales associate, Enrique Porrata he made our visit very pleasant. When my wife wanted a second look at the first car we test drove, he just smiled and went and brought it back. The other person, Customer Sales Manager, Wes Wilson took care of one issue immediately with a friendly demeanor, he also took time to come out to my car to help me learn some of the electronics. This has been the easiest car buying experience I've ever had. I found the car I liked online, spoke with Larry on the phone to see if it was still available. I had already secured financing from my lender, but he suggested seeing what DriverSelect lenders could do for me. They ended up giving me an even lower interest rate. By the time I arrived at the lot, the car was ready for me to test drive. Upon returning from the drive, Larry walked me through all of car's details. No sales pitches were made, no "magic" numbers were hidden and the process was very fast. I have told my family and friends to go there for their next car and will definitely get my next car from them.
I am the type of person who doesn't like the techniques used by most car dealers. You know, the tricks they use, going back and forth to the manager with the offer, haggling over the price of the car, the amount of money they give you for your trade-in and then the final hosing you get in the back end (no pun intended) when you go with the financing at the dealership.

The salesman Mr Frank Traver, was incredibly helpful in facilitating the whole transaction, completely transparent with me. He was most helpful in dealing with my "directness" on how wanted the transaction to go. He delivered the car clean, full of gas (almost) and provided all key information in approximately two hours.

Update: Had an issue with my car that wasn t checked before being put on the lot. The customer care (which you care for the customer) Mr. Wilson was rude and wasn t concerned about my issue at all! But Chris (sales rep) took the time to help me and instruct me on what to do to fix the issue. Their customer care team never answers the phone and I see how they could be careless if their Director or manager is careless.
I had a great experience working with both Chris and Gene. Chris was very patient as I test drove a few cars and Gene was excellent on getting me a nice deal. I would definitely recommend Drivers Select and these two gentlemen.
Bought Mercedes that was front end damage wasn t told and ask for car fax didn t get that either took to Mercedes-Benz Dealer and cost to fix front end over $1000. Spoke to Joseph sales manager he said a refund was coming for $500 it s been 3 weeks now and he ignores my emails and calls. My brother bought car this is my second from them. NEVER AGAIN watch them ask for car fax and verify car ain t damage didn t let me test drive car. Horrible horrible Ignoring customers.
