Horrible. I was lied to by a sales agent that my vehicle came with a second key. He assured me over and over that it came with one and when I left with the car he sent me an email saying it never had a second key, sorry . I ve contacted drivers select managers and even the head person of customer care and I was informed they would take care of it and my key was ordered October 2nd and would take 5-7 business days to come in. It s November 5th and nothing. I ve tried reaching out and no one at customer care answers the phone and Wesley (the head person of customer care) doesn t return calls. Super disappointed over something that could ve easily been avoided. Won t recommend anyone here.
Best Experience! Frank Traver was amazing to work with! There was no run-around. Frank was upfront with pricing and got us to the price we wanted within an hour. Frank was professional & friendly. On the day my husband & I picked up the car, Frank couldn't be there but made sure we were taken care of by the best. He arranged from John to take care of the paper work. John was an absolute delight and kept us laughing throughout the process ($0.07, inside joke :)).
When it's time for us to get a car again, Frank & John will be our first stop!
The only good thing I can say about this place is that they do have great selection of cars that are priced way less than what you would find anywhere else considering the condition and miles. However my car buying experience from here was HORRIBLE. I went in 1/12/19 and worked with sales associate Kameron G. I fell in love with a limited 75th anniversary edition Jeep Renegade with a panoramic removal roof but noticed there was a stain on the front drivers seat that looked like glue or something sticky that had dried up. I verbally expressed to Kam although I was buying a used car the stain would be a deal breaker for me because with this being my first car purchase I wanted everything to be as perfect. Kam said that he saw those kind of stains a lot and that the detail guys would for sure be able to get it out once they cleaned the car because it had not been detailed yet. I again stated that if the stain could not be removed that I did not want the vehicle. Everything came back with the same terms offered on the auto navigator. Left came back once car was cleaned to be told that the stain did not come out because they were out of Goo Gone that they normally used to take out those stains. I was frustrated and visibly upset at this point because my credit had been ran, papers signed and he knew this was a deal breaker. Kam grabbed his manager Chris P to see at this point what could be done. He inspected the stain, talked to the shop guys who he confirmed told him all they needed was the product and the stain would come out. Chris kept stating he was 100% confident once the product was in that they could get the stain removed and offered to write me a We Owe form. He stated that they could easily just put me in another car if it came down to that also. I was told Kyle in customer care would call on Mon or Tue the following week and that the issue was documented in the system. I hadn't received a call so I started calling and leaving messages on Kyle VM starting Tue 1/15. By Wed I called the manager Chris P and still no call back. I finally spoke with Myriam and set an appt to drop the car off on Friday 1/18/19. Went in Friday, the shop tried the same product they used the first time on the stain making it worse, Myriam said there was no documentation in the system explaining the issue and still the product wasn't ordered. From there everything just went downhill. No call backs from manager Vance Washko after numerous calls and left VM about the issue. He even gave me my keys at one point on one of the many occasions I had to go up there as if the issue was resolved for me only to get to the car and the stain to still be there. I had make a trip to reach him face to face on 1/22 because he would not return my cars and left voice messages. I drove back and forth 4 times and still only ended up dissatisfied. After 9hrs of being there 2/1/19 and 20 days later I still walked out again having to get another car, pay another down payment with a slightly higher rate and monthly payment and removal roof :(. All of which was not explained when they stated "we can just put you in something else" They also ran my credit thru Ally when I specifically advised only use Capital One. There was one other manager, the front desk guy, and the lady who helped finish the deal on 2/1/2019 that was awesome and a pleasure to work with. As for Vance Washko I'm not for sure how he still holds the general sales manager position, he lacks effective communication skills and does not show that he cares at all about customer concerns.
So happy that I was able to get into the car I wanted! Thanks to Josh Lopez, he was great in helping me throughout the entire process, he explained thoroughly and was patient with me! He is great to work with, I am beyond pleased with his business!
My Driver Select Experience: I ve been searching for a vehicle for a few months after my previous car was totaled out. I wasn t in any rush, but Driver select prices their cars competitively and below KBB value that I knew I was getting a great deal. After doing some research through Driver Selects online inventory I went to the dealership.
This isn t your typical dealership experience. Typically, you ll go to a dealership and they are waiting around like vultures, however with Drivers Select, it s very low pressure and stress free. Unfortunately, I wasn t greeted immediately as one would expect to be, but it was a Saturday afternoon and they were slammed. After talking with staff at the front desk, my dealer Clayton walked up and started the conversation. Again, I can t say how stress free this process was for me. I was also impressed with the supersized iPad to help with the process of showing what car I was wanting to test drive and having the mobility to not be stuffed in an office.
The test drive portion of the visit was different since typically dealers will ride with you in the car. Having that time alone with the potential vehicle I ended up purchasing was nice. Was able to adjust to it at my pace, and not have a dealer trying to sell me on the vehicle. Seems like they have faith that the vehicle will sell itself, which from what I could tell they carry some nice vehicles.
After the test drive was all said and done, the finance portion was just as streamline and easy. They go over optional warranty/gap coverage, and their dent protection package. Clayton even went into showing different package building options, so I could see what my monthly payment would be if I opted in/out of the warranty/gap/dent protection. This provides that extra level of customer service and improves the buying experience tremendously. Takes away the sticker shock of a larger number for the warranty/gap/dent.
I would recommend and encourage them as an option when you go shopping for your next vehicle.
The call center is amazing but once your information is passed to the dealership the communication is terrible. I submitted my application on a Wednesday morning and couldn t get anyone to update me on it by Friday and I called multiple times. I was trying to do everything before Friday to come into the dealership from out of town to buy. It was absolutely frustrating to deal with the lack of communication. So much so that I took my business elsewhere.
DeMeon was amazing! It was sooo easy to get everything set up over the phone, he wasn t pushy at all and let me ask. My questions. I was planning on buying later this month but bought it same day just because of how great and easy he made everything. I love my car and am so grateful for everything!
I had purchased a 2016 Chevy malibu from them a couple years back. My sales guy was Mark Fink at their Dallas location. Everything for the most part was perfect. I was in and out with a new car quickly. Now for the one star review... i spoke to Mark and explained to him I was not interested in their extended warranty from the beginning. I explained this to him SEVERAL times. In the end he understood and he didn t mention it again. Our preview contract had no mention of any extended warranty. Since my husband was the one getting the car under his name I left to get my kids something to eat. My husband signed the contract and we left. On our way home I decided to look at the contract and to my surprise yay! Mark had added all of the warranties he kept annoying us about. I called him right away and he apologized for what he did. He straight up admitted to lying to us. Our loan went up from 19k to 24k due to all of the extended warranties he added. After looking at their reviews at several sites I noticed they were notorious for this. I still have the messages saved on my phone from where he was explaining to me how to cancel the warranties. I had never experienced anything like this prior to this situation. Please look over you final contract because this dealership will do anything to get you to buy the extra warranties. I forgot to add that their Regions bank we financed the car with lost a $2,000 payment we made. They didn t allow us to have online banking because we wouldn t open a checking account with them. I was forced to drive to nearby towns to make the car payments. It was either that or pay by mail. Thank God I paid at the bank because I was able to have proof of my payment. After they harassed us for non payment we emailed them a copy of our receipts and just like that the calls ended. I never got a call back or a response to my email to find out what happened to my money in the first place. So much for the perfect car buying experience.
I had a wonderful experience with Driver Select! After getting the run around from Kia, I put in an application online for financing which after Kia, had no hopes on getting. A finance guy, Paul Dhaliwal, reached out to me and helped me complete the application over the phone. We discussed particular cars that would marry my needs and fit my budget. I decided on a Chevy Trax and he worked my deal all day and finally got an approval! I drove out there, in the rain the next morning and I was after to tell him that I fell in love with this Buick Encore that I found afterwards. Paul was great. He pulled the Trax and went over all of the features and set me up for a test drive. He let my daughter and I go while he went to find an Encore for me to drive. After driving the Trax, I got into the Encore and it was love at first drive. I knew it right then and there. I had told Paul all about our horrible experiences buying cars and he was super understanding. He explained all of the warranties and extra warranties that we could buy if we wanted to. I had to come back later that night with my husband but I would say 80% of it was done on the phone! Maybe 90%! We came back around 6:30 and it was PACKED! SUPER BUSY!!!! Paul was helping other customers and had a wonderful lady come help us sign. He walked us out to the car and have one set of keys to me and another set to my daughter and told her to enjoy her new car. It was an amazing, easy experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. They only sell new cars with low mileage so you are getting a nice car for the price! Everything is the middle of KBB value too!
I never thought I'd buy a car from driver select. I remembered them from the days of the jingle with the non standard cars and non-standard buyers. My salesperson was excellent, he did everything we could to make sure that I had a good buying experience. When I Banished with the 2015 Lexus that I ultimately purchased, he followed up with me to make sure that everything was okay. I will definitely buy a car from these guys again. The only thing they could have done better was pick me up from home give me a meal and sell the car for free. Then that would have been a perfect buying experience. Hahaha
The car purchasing process can always be a nerve-wracking one. However in the experiences that I and my significant other had driversselect took a lot of the nervousness and uncertainty out of the process. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and attentive to our concerns. They even through and free floor mats for the vehicle. I did research on the vehicle we were interested in and found the price at driversselect was around $1,000 less than the Kelly Blue Book's listed value or similar models. Driversselect made the financing and entrance finding process very easy and their customer service program for any issues when they find in the months preceding the purchase are a great asset in the overall purchasing experience. I would recommend them two friends and family interested in purchasing a used vehicle.
Overall had a good experience at drivers select. The prices are really good and they have a great selection of vehicles. My salesman Adrian mora made finding the right vehicle for me as easy as possible, he didn t pressure me at all and respected my wishes. The knowledge he displayed about the vehicle s features was great. Am so happy with my experience compared to other dealerships/salesman.
Had a great experience, Robert was very nice and helpful, he worked with us till we got great financing!! I got exactly what I wanted and this was the first dealership to do that after looking at so many. Time took longer then expected but that's because I went on a Saturday which is their busiest day. I would suggest driver select anyday!

Are you guys done after selling the car? Customer satisfaction does not matter at all? What about the commitment from the sales person during the car purchase agreement? This is my first deal with driverselect and it didn t went well I guess. I am pretty sure this is definitely will affect the future customer and the internet review of your business.

Great experience! Loved Sidney. I will only go here for any car in the future. I never felt cheated, or like he was trying to upsell me. He was amazing. Get your car at drivers select, and ask for Sidney! Make sure you act fast on a car you like though, they go quick here!
Like many other low reviews that Driverselect has gotten on here, I got the same poor experience. I arrived there and test drove cars. Everything was going pretty smoothly, but once I tried to purchase the car, my agent became rather distant. He took all my information but due to difficulties in their system, I could not continue with my purchase. I was told that he would send me my quotes and financing information. He did not send anything or reach out to me. Called him the next day to remind him about the purchase and he told me he would call me back in 5min. He did not call me back. The day after that, the reception followed up with me and I requested about the purchase. While she promised me to have my agent contact me, you can probably guess, nothing materialized. This has been the most frustrating dealer I have ever dealt, and it is a shame for a company to treat its guest like this.
From the moment I walked in the door to leaving with a new car - Paul was excellent in listening to my needs and helping me find a car that exceeded by expectations. The whole process was amazing and Paul made the process seem effortless. I would highly recommend going to Drivers Select for your next car - buying a car can be stressful - however, Driver's Select, and Paul, took all the stress out of the process. My experience was transparent and easy. Trey Ross and everyone I talked with was knowledgeable, nice, accommodating and really tried hard to answer my questions and make me feel knowledgable in my purchase. I would recommend this buying experience and Drivers Select to anyone.
Watch out. The prices are low, the trade value is decent, but the deception is hidden in the fees and warranties. If they add any weird fees, ask the salesperson/manager to remove it, and if they don't then walk away. This review would likely have been avoided if someone named "Amanda" did not avoid responding to customer email or phone calls she's not interested in.
My car shopping in driver select was one of the best. Car salesman Paul Michael gave us great customer service and top notch satisfaction. We walked out driving with the car in less than couple of hours. Thank you driver select and big kudos for Paul. Thanks again.
ECHO PARK, Grand Prairie-TEXAS is one of the best car show rooms that i have ever been. Had a really Pleasant Experience with them I had bought an AUDI A4-B9 which was in Pristine condition. The Sales Person Jeff Jewell was very nice person and took care of me very well, over all i had a really good experience here. This is a No haggle price showroom so they tell all the costs upfront and they dont charge you with all the crazy fee's once you are about to buy a car and they took care of all the documentation for me since i was an out of state customer from Kansas.
The only draw back i have seen was that they have very limited financing options and they are very particular that you have to get it financed with one of their approved financial institutions i had a credit score of 77* and had a approved loan of 2.4* from my bank still i had to go with their financial institution with lowest interest rate of 5.3* since i liked the car very much i had to go with that interest rate and have to refinance my car after Tags & registering the car .
First of all I want to thank Kyle Bryant for his outstanding customer service, I'm 4 hours and a half away from the dealership and he helped me throughout the course of the purchase through phone. By the time I got to the dealership I was in and out within 2 hours or less thank you very much Kyle for making the purchase so easy and simple but most of all SUPER fast and for your great service. I will recommend him to anybody he has a great personality, great sense of humor, but the best part he's very professional on what he does and gets you the deal you want for the vehicle you want.
Called ahead to set up looking at a vehicle, person on phone said no appointment necessary just show up . Came in to look at a vehicle and was informed that without an appointment I had to wait 30 plus minutes. Informed to please wait and someone will be with us. We felt like we were being placed in the cattle-call wait system. Thanks for wasting our time, we will purchase our vehicle elsewhere.
This was my first time buying from driversselect and I wish I had found them sooner! I have never been so pleased with the entire experience surrounding buying the car. Other places have left me so frustrated with up-selling, hidden fees and surprise charges once we get to the financing portion, but driversselect was completely upfront with super competitive prices. It is like shopping at the Disneyland of car dealerships!! All the employees I met and observed were so helpful and pleasant. I worked with Paul Dhaliwal and Charles McCormick and they made the process to easy and pain free. I couldn't be more pleased with the service from start to finish. When I am ready to buy my next car, driversselect will be my first and only stop!

My experience at Drivers Select was nothing but positive. I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted and wasn't rushed or pressured to find or buy a car either. I had been to a few dealerships before stopping here and will most definitely be a repeat customer in the future. Their prices are set, no haggling required, and terms of the financing agreements are clear. As a first time car buyer I was super stressed at the thought of taking on the beast, but at the end of the day I walked away happy with my car, the terms, and was definitely impressed with the professionalism of the people at Drivers Select, especially Trey who helped me throughout the whole process! 5 stars!
I went in to see their inventory of Mercedes Benz GLE 350 they had one 2017 great mileage, they said no accidents, one owner, the salesman brought it around, I immediately went around the SUV and stopped in my tracks at the trunk, and said is this a misfit suv, I must be being punk d or the car had some kind of damaged to the door to the trunk!! Here s why I asked below.
I love the car I got from them! They were excellent help, especially Brandi, with whom I worked. I had a bizzare thing happen that I won't go into, but it was almost certainly outside of their control and they were EXTREMELLY accomodating and helpful to resolve the situation, giving me multiple choices on resolutions. Couldn't imagine a better car buying experience. As always, do your own research, google the VIN, etc, but this is a great place to start.
Everything real easy, NO pressure, honest and up front. The extended warranty they offer seemed pricey to me, but my overall experience was great. I don't know that I will ever go to a dealership again.
Chandler was my salesperson. He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I test drove 5 cars and was prepared to give up, but in the short amount of time he gathered enough information to have a good feel for what I was looking for. He had me drive MY car and he nailed it. It was the perfect match for me. There was a door ding in the back right quarter panel and that was fixed and you can't even tell any work was done on the car. I highly recommend Driver's Select and Chandler.
Smooth and easy process, we initially called on one truck, but ended up driving four different trucks. Damien was very responsive from the initial phone call and very patient with us every step of the way as we decided on our purchase. Damien was understanding, knowledgeable, and not pushy throughout the entire process.

Terrible customer care, I have not heard back from anyone since June 8, voicemail and online portal requests do not seem to go through. I do not recommend outside city residents to purchase a vehicle here. They have not followed through on their "weoweyou." Long wait to sign paperwork, 2 stars for the kind tone.

Gene Kakoma is a great guy and seller of vehicles! I love the business model and you can't go wrong when buying a car here because you still have the factory warranty. Used cars are the best because new cars are a horrible investment due to depreciation. Save yourself the 30% and buy it here!

My experience was fantastic at the Airtex location in Houston! I was in a real bind since I live in Dallas and needed to sell a vehicle quickly. Ty was expedient and efficient with his quote and since I didn't have the title he said I could file all of the paperwork in the DFW area. We forgot our garage door opener, CDs and a dvd that were in the player. I called Samantha and she grabbed the opener and totally emptied the 6 CD changer and the DVD player and shipped them so that we received them the next day!! She went above and beyond regular customer service!! Great job!!!!
My husband and I went in on Saturday and we re quickly greeted by the staff at Drivers Select where we met with Austin Chambliss who went above and beyond our expectations. He is super friendly and was able to answer all the questions we had as first time car buyers. It was super busy as can be expected for a Saturday but Austin was attentive and made sure we got taken care and let us test drive several cars and treated us like top priority even though he has taken care of other customers as well. We returned a few days later and Austin made sure to greet us with a smile and already had everything ready to go for us. He and his team even stayed after hours just to make sure we were taken care. I cannot day enough good things about Austin and how smooth and stress-free he made this experience for us, we will definitely be sending all our friends and family who need a new vehicle to Austin we are so greateful for all his hard work.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS COMPANY 10 STARS I WOULD!!! I dealt with Mr. Charles McCormick at Drivers select lets talk about the WOW EFFECT!!! He delivered an unbelievable experience that i will never forget! He never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured at all. He was extremely friendly, genuine, honest and such a good person all around. These guys aren't your typical car salesman they actually care about you and your family by making sure you are set up with the car that you will love and within your budget. Charles was probably the friendliest person i have ever met and i definitely will be sending friends and family his way. When he was going back to the finance room or even to pull up the car i was looking for he never once took his time he was constantly hustling! Literally running back and forth from their back office or outside to get my new car i couldn't believe what i was seeing!!! I was searching for a great deal on CarGurus for a used Lexus nx200t F sport. I requested to be contacted by several dealerships, but I found one car that looked like the perfect one for me so I decided to call the dealership- Drivers Select in Grand Prairie. Gustavo Argueta answered the phone, I told him what I was looking for, we communicated via text, call and email to get the deal done, I showed up at the dealership, signed the paperwork and that was it! Best car buying experience ever with Gustavo! The whole team at Drivers Select was incredible. We also met coach Chris, who was one of the managers. He did a great job of making sure we were happy with the purchase. He answered every call, text and email quicker than any other dealership I was working with, he was so professional, knowledgeable and sincere. We will buy from Gustavo Argueta and Drivers Select in Grand Prairie again! Excellent service all the way around!
We started the day good. We are greeted by the receptionist and had to wait a little bit for our salesperson as they were busy. I came in there with a car in mind that I wanted to buy. I brought my truck in for a trade as well, they proceeded to check my truck to give me a trade in value. In the middle of this, they could not locate the car I wanted and told me it might be on a test drive but could not track the vehicle, something about them having tracking issues with their cars. We proceeded to wait a while because I really liked the car (2020 dodge durango RT) sales person finally came back and told us that the GM had taken the car for the day and it would be back tomorrow, weird but I still wanted the car and proceeded to the finance side. They gave me that high APR% at the beginning. Mind you I have a great credit score. They rushed back and came out with a better rate but it came with their must by warranty and I wouldn't get this rate with out their warranty. I did not want that warranty because it was useless in my eyes and chose to opt out. They came back with a whole different rate, too high and did not want to let that warranty go. They became less interested in me and gave up. I really wanted that car but their no haggle pricing is BS after they want to add an extra 5,000 to the original price and you get the lowest possible trade value. Wasted my time for nothing.
Update. Staff reached out to me and informed me of more options that were not discussed in my first encounter. I decided to give them another chance because I really liked the car. We came back and got a slightly better deal and settled on that.
After several weeks of visiting multiple car dealerships in DFW, Houston, Austin, Arkansas, and online, I stopped by Driver's Select since it was near my Credit Union. I had never purchased a vehicle there before so I didn't know what to expect. I worked with Salesman DeMeon Washington and the process was a smooth one. He was patient, knowledgeable, and pleasant. I purchased a super clean car within 3 to 4 hours. At no time did I feel pressured or duped. I left the dealership feeling like I made a good and decision.

I never thought car buying would be easy until I stepped into Drivers Select.. Although, I had started to get frustrated at the thought of the process, Vance (my sales rep) made it soooo simple.. We've bought three cars from Larry P. at Drivers Select - a 2016 Kia Sedona, 2016 Nissan Frontier, and now a 2018 Infiniti Q50. Larry has excellent customer service and always thinks of the customer first. He does things that are like, "Wow, that's so considerate! What the heck??" He's a really great salesperson. DriversSelect is nice and all, but he is the one who really makes the sale for us, beyond price and everything else. Plus, he speaks Spanish! I highly recommend asking him by name.

Our sales rep was awesome I got out in about 3 hours the wait was not long at all , unfortunately I m giving it a 4 star because the vehicle that I purchased there has been giving me trouble with the dash board , not to mention that I purchased a vehicle from a dealer so I wouldn t have any problems and for the first month that s all it gave me , vehicle is in great shape other than the dashboard which I feel like they did a horrible job at fixing ... cant really blame them but the vendor doing the repairs. Drivers select has been doing a great job at trying to fix my dash , all thanks to Miriam , nice lady and polite ! Hopefully I don t have anymore trouble.
I enjoyed the no-hassle experience I had at Driver's Select. Josh was very knowledgeable and experienced in all things finance and helped me get a good interest rate and car loan in my name only, which was important to me. Everything about this place was very straightforward and I liked my car dealer so much I was convinced driver's select profile-matched me with him before I came in! :) I will be suggesting driver's select to my friends. I only gave it a 4 because I wish the process was still slightly faster after I decided yes I would buy. Love my Acura!

Great car, price, but awful customer service!!! Brought a check from another financial institution to FULL pay the car and bring the car insurance information, and waited all afternoon for service. Very disappointed!! They have so much business that our business was NOT their priority. They forget time is money
My only complaint is that when I first went, it was Saturday, and the place was a nightmare!!! SO busy. I had lots to do that day, so I.couldn't just wait around for 20 to 30 minutes just to get started. Wish I could've had an actual appointment that day, because I work during the week. Also, parking was weird, with some lanes blocked. Having said all that, my experience with Lisa on Monday & Tuesday was GREAT!!!! She really worked hard to make everything work into my budget. I lLOVE my Mini Countryman!!! I will definitely recommend to friends and family. (But not on a Saturday!! )

Walked in at 930am Monday morning and drove away at 1030am in a new-to-me car. No hassle. No pressure. I paid cash, which I'm sure helped speed things up. I'm definitely going back when I need another car. Highly recommend.
Horrible service. I have a family friend that drove from midland to grand prairie to purchase a vehicle, the salesperson robert was a complete rude, disrespectful individual. Wouldn't shake their hand and acted as if just because they wouldn't take the deal they were first offered that they were ignorant. They wanted a 5 year loan and they kept trying to push a 3 year. They left. With no vehicle. They had a customer with perfect credit that works out in the oil boom with plenty of income to spare, and they were treated poorly.
