It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Everything was explained in detail and my salesperson John Shaffer did a great job and was very thorough. I will definitely come back.

As I read on another review, this place is certainly the fast food of car sales. One good thing about this place is the price of the cars. There's no need to attempt to negotiate because the price shown is the price you're going to pay. I like that about this place! I cannot stand car salespeople, and that's not a concern at Drivers Select. My assigned associate, Heather, did a fine job despite juggling me at the same time as other customers.
Tips for you...Make sure you make an appointment so they can have the cars you want to see ready when you arrive. Arrive timely, and still plan on waiting a little especially if you have to go on a weekend (I feel sorry for you).
Apparently, they make their money from financing and the warranty they sell. Because of my 800 credit scores and my knowledge of financing, I used my credit union with a 2.29 rate and I bought a more extensive warranty through my credit union as well. Heather treated me equally as nice had I financed through them and bought their warranty.
However, be prepared to jump through some hoops if you're using outside financing. You need to ensure they will document the title correctly for your lender, and they did that for me. Some lenders will not loan for Drivers Select because DS wants a cashier's check and I do not believe they will accept anything else.
One thing I very much did not like is that if you find a car you like, you can only have them hold it for 24 hours, which is a $500 deposit. If your outside financing does not pull through, etc. they're going to sell the car to someone else and keep your $500. They may just keep the $500 regardless if you don't show back up to buy it within 24 hours. I'm not sure because I showed back up in time with the cashiers check from my credit union.
Overall, my personal experience went well. I'm happy with my new car that I've had for 4 months now.

Overall experience here was good until the financing of the vehicle. I decided to finance at the dealership because they pull multiple rates (form multiple banks) when they pull your credit bureau. When they shop your rate they obviously will get multiple different rate pricings based off the lender's rates. As a third party loan originator the dealership does not get the direct interest from the loan. They get a "cut" or are compensated for the referral.

What I experienced during the financing was quite unethical and needs to be addressed. When they offered me the rate for the financing they didn't offer me the lowest rate that I had qualified for. For example, they might get three offers from three different banks and offer you the highest of the three. My assumption is that they didn't offer me the lowest rate because I declined their warranties, which they directly profit off of. After I mentioned their interest rate was too high for someone with an 800 FICO and 30% debt-to-income, they said they would try and get it lower. They then came back to me and said if I would accept their $500 warranty they could get me a lower interest rate. They were obviously able to do this because again, when they pull your credit they shop multiple banks and had a couple other offers that were lower than the one originally offered. The APR/APY I ended up with was almost a full percent lower than what they originally offered. This a very unethical way to do business, holding the customer hostage with a higher rate so you can increase their revenue by purchasing their warranty. Also, I left a comment in which the customer service manager (I believe Michael) called me and left a message. I called back and left a message, and he did not ever return my call. I am sure this is a daily sales tactic that they use to increase the company's revenue. Very unethical lending practice and unprofessional efforts to resolve the issue. You wonder why car sales gets the negative stigma it does. I worked in sales for years, highly productive, without unethical behavior.

Staff attentive, laid back feeling. The sales person will work with you as you decide on your selection.

I have bought many lexus vehicles from dealerships. We had a very positive experience with Driver's Select and it was exactly what I hoped for because my husband just HATED past experiences. The wheeling and dealing game was taken totally out and it was exactly the experience I hoped for.

The Lexus I bought is just beautiful with the exact features we were looking for Kyle Ford represented Driver'sSelect and was such a great person and professional. I will be back again for my next car and hopefully Kyle will be there.

After purchasing vehicle I noticed something I had not noticed. Kyle handled the small issue promptly. Now that is a great professional and great organization.

Tea sold me my car and she was awesome thru the whole ordeal of my indecisiveness! She s patient, friendly and not pushy at all,she s overall GREAT and I d highly recommend her too anyone I know looking to buy a car!

DeMeon at Drivers Select was a huggggeee help! The process was easy and the interaction felt genuine the entire way. Definitely not your typical car salesman feel and very authentic. I d recommend Drivers Select a thousand times over!

As far as car buying goes, it was a pleasure purchasing from this dealer. They are very upfront with their pricing and fees. Think CarMax but with better prices (at least on the model I was looking at). The downside is they don't have as much inventory and you are supposed to make an appointment (they prefer you narrow it down on a couple of cars before you arrive). Brandie was my sales rep and she was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and made the entire experience effortless.

My experience was great! First thing I would recommend is to make an appointment. They make their money through volume so it get's really busy. Make an appointment and tell them what car you're interested in. If you have found THE car, to be on the safe side put 500 down to hold it so it doesn't get sold out from under you. This can happen because like I said their cars move quick. You'll go and they'll give you keys to a car and you basically test drive it on your own, drop it off and if you have another car in mind they'll repeat the process until you find your match. I can't find prices anywhere that could compete with them. They also offered me 1000 over the suggested trade-in for my car because they can resell the car nationwide. So something that might not be popular in Texas but is still popular in say California like a hybrid can still get you top dollar. I read one review that said 4k in dealership fees, not sure where that came from! It's less than 500 when I bought my car. Once you find you're car they do the transaction right there on the spot provided it's not completely packed. It takes about 15 minutes to sign all the paperwork. They give you the keys and you're off! It's a great business model. Ask for Marla, she was very helpful and didn't give up on me even after I left the lot without a car. She followed up with other cars I would like. All in all it was a great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great deal and a quick transaction process without all the hassle and haggle.

Bought our truck there 2 years ago and it seemed like a good deal until....it comes the time to trade in it and I realized we bought a warranty we didn't need so we cancel it and wait for the refund before we can trade in our vehicle, we continue to call and ask where it's at and get the same answer 4-6 weeks. Now at 60 days later I call the bank carrying the warranty and they told us they cut a check to drivers select 60 days ago and they have had it. No one told me after I emailed and called several times. Now I can't get a response or an answer from anyone, they are just holding our money hostage. Don't buy here, there dealer fees are through the roof as well as scamming you into buying a warranty.

This is a lie! You never emailed him and if I need to I will post all our back and forth emails about this situation. My husband tried to reach you several times with no answer!!! Not my fault you responded to me! You did not ever email him until today after this review.

DO NOT BUY HERE! They will make you think you are approved and can take the car home, make sure you read the agreement because they have it in fine print that if the financing does not go through they can ask you to bring the car back, they do not explain that to you nor even mention it at all. They make it seem like all is good and you got the greatest deal in your life. However after 30 days they will call you and tell you the bank did not approve your loan, so you have to bring the car back! Guess what? Surprise! Surprise! Your credit has been checked like 100 times and now you have no car. They will also lie to you telling you they will try to work something out and will get back with you in an hour, we ll sit down because you will get tired of waiting for the call. Then the next day they will call you and just ask for a co-signer bc the loan did not go through. So pretty much your screwed and they don t care. Be sure that I will get to the BBB, news, all social media and an attorney. This is just people that care to SALE a car and make money but have no integrity.

This car buying experience was just as Lilia Galindo said, from her first phone call to the final signature on the contract. Lilia was the awesome at making me feel comfortable about buying this car. I told her my conditions and she said let me try it. WOW! I find myself driving my dream car of many years, Lexus RX350. I am ecstatic. Wasted 3 hours. When I was about to see the car, they said it s no longer available. Could have told me an hour back but then it was sold just now . No better experience than regular dealers. Looked like bait and switch. Also they did this after taking a copy of my DL and insurance.

Horrible service! Got handed off to 3 different sales people and ended up with the sketchiest guy named Tommy. If you re looking for an enjoyable car buying experience stay far away from this place.

Feels like a used car revolving door kinda place. Sales staff not very knowledgeable and the Maanger we spoke to didn't seem to care about our concerns. In addition, the vehicles were obviously not cleaned or detailed prior to making them available.

I brought not one but two vehicles from this location. The first one was a suv and the second time it was a sedan. The customer service was excellent. They were very helpful in answering any questions we had. The price was amazing in comparison to other places we looked at in regards of year and mileage of the vehicle. No red tape. Very up front with everything. The vehicles were in great condition each time. The process was easy and straightforward. No Haggle. The price you see, is what you will pay for.

Destiny is one of the sales rep and she was amazing. Whatever problem we had with our vehicle, she went the extra step to make sure it was right.

I was hesitant about getting a new car because I new it would be a difficult, and uncomfortable process as it had been with other dealerships in the past. I soon found out differently, thanks to Lilia G. at Drivers Select. She made me feel comfortable and at ease and gave me hope throughout a very short process compared to the few I've had before. As we all know a car buying process is long with the paper work, the banks, the appraisal of a trade-in, and all that good stuff, but most of this was completed before I showed up the next morning to pick up my new car. I've worked in a call center so I know that 3 minutes of waiting alone, feels like an hour, but Lilia was attentive and kept me informed on the steps being taken while we waited. I'm ecstatic with the choice I made to get a car from Drivers Select and most importantly I got the car I wanted for a payment I could afford, all thanks to Lilia G.

I bought a car here, but wouldn't send anyone I care about here. I have my own financing and the dealership did everything in their power to stop me from using it. When I requested a purchase order to send my bank (a common request which many other dealerships have been happy to comply with, I was sent a poor quality jpeg attachment which was not a purchase order and told via email "This is our only form of a purchase order. Any other form of action requested from an outside lender is not in our capabilites (sic) or in our business model. We follow 0 stipulations with outside financing." When I did finally purchase the vehicle in person I was presented with a purchase order to sign. I suppose in the 24 hours between the email and my arrival at the dealership they suddenly acquired this new purchase order.

This dealership models itself after CarMax & Texas Direct Auto, but fails to deliver on their ease of use & customer service fronts. They boast that 80% of their customers use their financing, but it seems this number is only so high because they take deliberate actions to make themselves hostile to outside financing. I could honestly continue this review for another ten minutes, but that wouldn't help anyone. Steer clear.

Process took about 2.5 hours, so there was some waiting around at location.

The process of test driving a car and buying one is very simple at Drivers select. The agent doesn't even come with you for the test drive nor try to force. The only thing is you should've done some but of homework via their website to determine which cars are suitable and then goto them with at least 3 4 short listed and test drive. Having been to other dealers in other states too, this one was one of the best experiences.

Trying to buy a car and wait (after agreeing to terms) is 2 1/2 hours and counting.

Seems like interesting concept, but disappointing in how unorganized they are. For a place that advertises quick check outs, no haggle pricing and uses technology, they could use some help.

Not sure I d buy from them again (if I wait long enough to actually finish this transaction).

Great used car buying experience for our college bound daughter. Kyle did a great job making the process simple.

They are scam artists, and will try their best to sell you a lemon and push on you all the paperwork trying to get you to sign without reading. I m still dealing with the repercussions of a vehicle they sold me which they were not able to fix under their warranty because they didn t know how and now I m stuck with a car that needs an extra $6,000 worth of repairs.

My daughter and son in law had purchased 2 vehicles from Drivers Select and encouraged me to check them out since i was in the market for a different vehicle. I am so glad i did. What i saw on line was exactly what i was able to see in person and test drive. Matthew Fink was my sales rep and really went above and beyond to make sure my purchase went smoothly. Matthew was very polite, professional and provided good information to make sure i knew what my options were. I drove 2.5 hours one way and had to make 2 trips......but i tell you this, its was well worth the time because got a newer vehicle in mint condition and the price was amazing. My payments and insurance both went down. Best car buying experience I've ever had. Highly recommend Drivers Select.......,and ask for Matthew Fink.

Waited 20-30 minutes for someone to value my trade-in, Salesman by the name AUSTIN comes back with a very low trade-in number. He tells me how they will match a CarMax trade-in value from a day earlier, then when I show the printed CarMax offer he tells me his manager says 'no'. We wasted time and gas coming from Garland. Place seems like its unorganized and too many people waiting at tables for help.

March of 2020, traded my car, not here. Cancelled gap insurance and was told it goes thru dealer. 2 months of calls and messages not returned, to finally be told they can't help me, it has to go thru other location. SAME DEALER, and it takes them 2 months to finally say we can't help you!!! THIS is NOT acceptable customer service!! Buyer beware, they will sell you what you want, but apparently dealing with things after the fact is a different story all together, they got their money, so they were done with me!! Keep this in mind when going there and buying from this lot!! And below is a picture showing they've moved to the location I was trying to get help from!!!

The overall experience of buying the car was good. The wait time was very high, which can be improved. Clayton was friendly and helped me to select a car in my price range. They are pretty transparent. They did not give me any room for negotiation :(

I will NEVER buy a vehicle anywhere else... This doesn't even feel like a dealership. I wasn't ready to leave when i was done.

Nice place, not over prices and friendly staffs. But they donot update their website regularly, so had to go there few times just to find out the cars i were looking for is already sold.

We had the best experience with drivers select. We were buying a car for our daughter and had been to multiple car dealerships and had been looking online for weeks. We were tired of the shady cars salesmen that kept trying to add on charges after we thought we had come to an agreement. The other problem we kept finding was the cars we were looking at always had something wrong with them or were not in very good shape. We drove across DFW to drivers select and it was the easiest process ever! No hassle pricing, and the car was in the best shape of anything we looked at. Low miles and looked practically new. We will be using Joshua McKay at drivers select/echo park again and will be recommending him to all of our friends and family.

My experience at Drivers Select was GREAT!! My salesman Paul was so patient with me and answered all my questions. I did not feel pressured at anytime and he made sure I was knowledgeable about my contract terms. I have a 2017 Chevy Malibu for a very low price and I love it. One star because I love the car. Also because I'm not allowed to leave no stars. They brag about being "no haggle no hassle" or whatever.
Salesman was extremely rude and pushy. I had my own financing and I guess he didn't like that. Insisted that he run my credit to try and find a "quicker" loan (my lending officer was taking more than 20 minutes to respond.)
When I told him I didn't want my credit run again, he basically told me that I didn't know what I was talking about. He worked at Wells Fargo so he knows more than me about credit. He googled it to show me. Seriously.
At the end of the day, I ended up waiting till the next day because he didn't have the drafting paperwork. All the while he taunted me saying that "These cars sell like hotcakes - I can't guarantee it'll be here tomorrow."
Heads up - check EVERY inch of the car if you do decide to purchase from here. My backup camera wires have been rigged with electrical tape and it voided my manufacturer warranty - just as the dealer warranty expired as well. How convenient. I won't buy from driversselect again. Nor would I recommend them to a friend.

It was the best car buying experence that i have ever had. This place really knows what the customer wants and needs. If you want an easy car buying experence, then this is the place to go. Jeff Jewell was awesome through out the whole process. Go in and ask for Jeff Jewell and in no time you will be driving off in the car you want, not the crappy car no one wants to drive.

Lilia Galindo is a very helpful rep. My vehicle died and I have no family or relatives friends close by to help out. I needed to get mobile fast! Ms Galindo was extremely kind and had a great positive attitude that helped me during this small crisis. She helped me pick out a suitable vehicle that was within my budget, referred me to a great agent to help find a cheaper insurance policy, and even arranged a ride for me to pick up my new vehicle which was a life saver since I had no other way to get there. My rating last week would have been a 5 but obviously a company is much nicer when they have your business versus when they are in the wrong and you want your money back.

We purchased a car through this place and thought our loan was finalized when we drove off the lot. The salesman calls back 6 days later to say they could not verify the loan so we had one option only or we could bring it back.
We decided to bring the truck back as we no longer wanted to proceed with a loan that DID NOT exist.

We have called Drivers select countless times because all we want is to return the truck and get our down payment of $4,100 back. We are trying to be nice but all they are doing is trying to put us in another vehicle and we don t want that. That down payment is not theirs it was supposed to go to a truck that we don t own, so naturally we want it back.
The managers are trying to charge us a 10% restocking fee of $2,500 fo having the truck 6 days. I have called Kenny, Mike, Jay and Gene and no one can give us any answers.
Had they simply just given us our down payment back I wouldn t have written this review or filed with the BBB.

We had a great experience at Driversselect. My husband heard their ads on the radio, but we had no idea how different it would be! No pressure, but very helpful, and we made a decision after driving two cars. Love our new Caddy, and Tyler was the best!

This was the easiest car buying experience that my we've ever had. We selected a car from the online inventory and submitted details of our trade-in on the driversselect website. Within a few minutes a salesman contacted us and gave us an estimated range for our trade-in, then setup an appointment for us to test drive the car. The car was ready for us when we got to the lot on the day of the appointment. Our trade-in car was appraised while we test drove the car that we eventually purchased. The appraisal of our trade-in came in on the high end of what the salesman originally estimated from our online information. One of the best things, is that the price that you see online is what you pay. No negotiating, "let me talk to my manager", and other dated dealership practices.

So, that was the process. The salesman that initially contacted us was the only person that we dealt with during entire car-buying process, other than the receptionist at check-in. Again, this is a great improvement over the old dealership model where you're passed from salesman to manager to financial team. My wife and I were very surprised and impressed with the professionalism of the salesman, Luigi Fuentes.

Josh is simply the best. This is my second car purchased from him. I definitely recommend Josh at Drivers Select. He simplifies everything and got me in and out quickly. Gives you more of the family feel than just a customer. Great new location as well!! I love my new car!!

Kristopher Hester was my "Experience Guide" as they call it here. Awesome buying experience, no pressure to buy, friendly staff, they'll give you a hat for a review on here if you buy a vehicle, very large inventory! The complex is very large and atmosphere is very open. Kristopher also gave us all the time we needed when my wife and I needed to crunch numbers privately.

My sales person was Jeff. He actually reached out that Monday after I went online. And just to keep this review short I messed up. I tried a different dealership and they tried to get over on me. So I came here, which I should have at first and it was maybe 2 1/2 hours later I got my beauty 2015 Infinity Q40....Thank you so much Jeff for being attentive me, I really do appreciate it! Driverselect I would recommend to anyone!!

Salesman (Austin) was very down to earth and he makes you feel like you re at home. Very nice and very professional. He also Makes sure that you have everything covered and all your worries tend to fade away closing in on a deal. If you re looking for a car, I highly recommend coming here

Recently bought a car and it was a great experience.

BUYER BEWARE!! The price you see online IS NOT the price you pay at the dealership. Drivers Select adds additional fees to the price of the car after you've arrived, test driven the car and decide you want to purchase. The online price is only to get you in the door. They hide these additional fees in the line item descriptions on the Purchase Agreement. For example, they have a line called "Accessories" and "Doc Fee", which add hundreds of dollars to the final price. There are actually no "Accessories" that you actually receive. When I asked the sales person what that was for, he said that is was a "delivery prep fee". Not sure what that means. In addition, you are charged taxes on these additional charges. Bottom line, the price you see online IS NOT the price you pay at the dealership. Beware!!

Parking is tough. Parking lot can be like a mad house. Definitely suggest the valet.

They would open your credit so many times that make negative effect to your credit.
They opened my credit report 6 times at a same time although I've never allowed them open and require my credit!

They were friendly, helpful and provided great places to sit and coffee to drink. They sanitized my car before letting me test drive and Roberto Young worked with me on getting the car I wanted for the price I was willing to pay. The only reason I give 4 stars is because it took a really long time (several hours) to actually be able to purchase the car. Otherwise, it s a great place to buy a high quality used car! I love my car so far! :)

Great place to buy a car. They have a wide variety of inventory. Sales staff is friendly and courteous. Had the car I was interested ready for me to test drive. I have bought two cars from Drivers Select.

Absolute terrible experience.. driver side floor mat was missing when I took Car home.. but it was there when I did test drive. Chasing customer care for last 10 days.. guess what ..numerous voice messages. But no update yet. Sales person not picking the call for any queries.

I had the most horrible experience with them. A used car was priced more than a brand new one after they added their insurance - gap insurance and 2 other insurances which was close to $6600. They said the vehicle was out of manufacturer warranty and that we had to purchase their insurance.

Apparently, I had to have a car insurance to even test drive their vehicle. I was not allowed to drive the vehicle and it was not even well maintained. Scratches all over the vehicle.

Kyle went far and beyond to help me and my husband get a once thought unobtainable car. He was constantly updating us with new information as they happened. He made us feel valued and welcomed during our visit. Tremendous costumer service and very detailed while explaining the paperwork. I will definitely ask for him during my next purchase. Thanks Kyle. DeMeon Washington helped me to narrow down and select the SUV I wanted to take home. He was very patient and understanding. The large selection of vehicles at Drivers Select can make it hard to find the right one. DeMeon introduced me to vehicles that I never even considered. I love that he took the time, and I felt good about my purchase without any pressure. I will recommend him to my family and friends.

This was by far the best car buying experience. Charles Bright never tried to hassle us into anything, answered every question honestly and fully and did everything he could to make us feel that we got the best bang for our buck. DeMeon Washington was absolutely wonderful. After searching on line I knew exactly what I wanted. He showed me what I asked for and once that really did not work for me he showed me other options based off of my requirements. He is very knowledgeable about what is in inventory and the makes, models and specs. He made the car buying experience fun and it felt like my little profession brother was setting me up in my future car. When it came to paperwork he took care of it quickly and got me exactly what I asked for. I will be back in 6 months so that my daughter can select her new car and we will only shop with DeMeon.... he is family now.

We bought 4 cars from driver select, the last car we bought they said it had a clear record and no accident, about 2 months later I got into an accident and after going through the insurance I found out the car was in an accident and they never told me! Be careful everyone before buying from them.

Was happy with the whole process but have since discovered the agent who sold us the car LIED to us !! He told us we could finance the car then pay it off with our credit card ( we get airline miles so wanted to purchase this way ) when I tried to pay it off , found out you can not use a credit card !!! Now paying finance charges on top of purchase price !!! Very unhappy. Will be contacting the manager !!!

I found a great car! My salesperson Ayesha was patient and accomadating and very knowledgeable about the whole process! Late model with low miles and a warranty all for a reasonable price! I'm satisfied and thankful that my experience was a good one!

The actual car buying process is pretty standard, but since you re buying a used car, there are some minor hiccups that they claim they will fix within the week. After 3 weeks of going back and forth with them, still no resolve on getting the issues fixed. We like the vehicle, but these minor problems that were supposed to be fixed immediately have been tossed to the side since apparently they get their money so now they could care less about you. We are about to bring this thing back just out of principal of them not holding up their end of the bargain.

Legitimately had a great experience buying a car for my wife at DriversSelect. We were skeptical that the cars would be damaged or that the salespeople were going to push all kinds of extended warranties or other add-ons. But nothing of a sort.. we saved lots of money, the cars are very clean, they are practically coming out of the assembly line.
The car we bought was so much less than what we initially expected to spend. Thank you DriversSelect and Big Chris!
I can't imaging shopping for a car anywhere else. And by-the-way I live over 300 miles away.
Definitely recommend them! At the very least pay them a visit.
