Zero star. Customer service is very poor and very shady people. Don't let them give chance to speak will do a lot of tricky things like adding extended protection plans even if you don't want it. They advertise most of our cars are still in fatory warranty and again push to take extent protection plan. Never respond properly and say car was sold. If you really want a very bad experience in buying a car go fo this dealer.

Was promptly greeted after walking in. My salesman Eric was with me within 20 minutes. We reviewed the cars I was interested in and he set up a test drive. I got to take my time with each vehicle and even got to drive one of them twice, just to be sure that was the one for me. This place gets really busy so I reccomend going on a weekday and as early as possible. The prices and low mileage on the cars are exceptional and hard to find anywhere else. Thank you Eric Brinkley for making my car buying experience a great one!!! He went above and beyond to help me. He was super patient and attentive to my needs. I got the car I've been wanting and I absolutely love it!!!

Today we purchased our second vehicle from Drivers select. Roberto our sales agent went above and beyond for our family. We were thrown into a situation that our previous vehicle was a total loss. We needed to purchase a vehicle immediately, Roberto had us approved and in a new vehicle quickly. The customer service they provided to us was outstanding. They truly go up and beyond to ensure their customers are taken care of. The general manager Geremy Smith was so helpful. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great experience in purchasing a vehicle. Also ask for ROBERTO.

Should of never even attempted doing business with these people after seeing reviews. Larry Pelky THE CEO is a horrible person to do business with. After a whole day of back and forth on the phone he makes me drive 3 hours from Austin and when I arrive he states he sold the vehicle and has another one. Who does that ? If you were desperate for a sale you could of just said the vehicle was not available to begin with. Don t wast your time not energy with these people.

This is the first time I'm doing a review because I don't have no time to spare. However I'll make an exemption this time due to the fact that this dealer never gave me a headache. Everything was smooth, from choosing the right vehicle, financing, and after-sales. All of the car buying experiences in the past are huge disappointments. In-fact, I hated buying cars because of these horrible experiences. But things had changed this time. Driverselect is one of a kind and what made them stand out for me personally? It's the "sales rep" Mr. Charles McCormick. He's the best! He treats every costumer just like his "buddy". I just had a wreck and having a fracture in my leg i'm constantly in pain. I'm glad my car buying experience was totally opposite...it was pain free. I would highly recommend this guy to all of my friends who would want to buy a pre-owned vehicle. Thank you so much Charles! We had a great experience with Henry and Gene. They kept a great attitude while we test drove several vehicles until we narrowed it down to what we wanted. Both took their time to make sure we were happy with what we drove away with. I would highly recommend them for your next car buying experience.

Got the vehicle I wanted. Lemarcus was wonderful and took his time to show me every vehicle I asked about and stayed with me to answer any questions I had about them. He was very patient with me and my 3 small children. He was amazing at juggling multiple clients on a very busy Saturday. Thank you for your time and working with us.

Good car, lousy service.

We did find a great car and the price was pretty good. We tend to look all over the metroplex until we find the cars we are most interested in and then go to where those cars are. We buy Honda Accords, and there are hundreds of those available all over.

But one of the better Accords ended up being here, unfortunately. When we made our decision and were ready to close the deal, we were sure to get there right when they opened at 9 AM so we could be sure to get the car. We didn't leave with the car until about 5 PM. Little did I know that it was going to take all day long.

For part of this time in the morning we took the car to a mechanic for an inspection, and we left at 10 and were back at about noon, so two hours are on us. But after that we were just sitting and sitting for what seemed like forever. A few things to note:

- The warranty plan they sell is a ripoff. You pay a lot of money and it only covers certain major repairs that are highly unlikely to be needed for most cars.
- I think (but don't know for sure) that once we said no their warranty, we were lower on their priority list.
- We asked them to do a few things, and they did none of the things we asked. We tried to get new tires on the car (the treads were getting a bit low), and they said no. We tried to get a new battery (the tester indicated it was getting weak), and they said no. We tried to get new wiper blades and they said yes, but didn't do it. So remember, "no haggle pricing" means "no flexibility at all".
- There was disgusting junk caked on the center console.We asked them to clean the interior, and they assured us that they would do a thorough cleaning, but their cleaning was very superficial. The gunk was still there, so we cleaned it ourselves when we got home.
- We were getting it titled in the name of our trust, which created additional confusion and delays on their part due to the long name.

At the end of the day, we couldn't get out of there fast enough. What a beat down. Not going back, ever, even if they have a car we are interested in.

I had an absolutely awesome experience buying my car at Drivers Select!!!!! The Sales Rep., Derek, was never pushy! I never felt like he was rushing me into making a decision right away. When I was ready, it was fast and easy!

I would totally recommend Drivers Select to my friends and family if any were looking to buy a car.

Did not buy a car here. The sales associate I had, Joshua Lopez, was arrogant, insulting and inconsiderate. He "assured" me that I wasn't going to be approved for my loan outside them and he has ABSOLUTELY no business talking to me about my situation. I have excellent credit and work history. He had no right to talk to me like that. Overall, everyone in general had a "stand-offish" attitude with no respect to the customers whatsoever. Lucky for them, their car selection is good, which is the only thing keeping any business because it is NOT their customer service.

Echopark in Grand Prairie would not accept a payment from State Farm Bank on a vehicle purchase. They said they did not work with State Farm. Amazing that you don't have to accept money from a banking institution.
Shame on Direct Select at Echopark for such poor judgement.
State Farm has been doing car finance since 1989.

I got a great car from this place. That s the only good thing I can say. As far as the car buying process.. man... this was my first time buying a vehicle and I went in with outside financing which apparently was a huge mistake. I wanted to see what deal they could get for me compared to what I had. The deal they had for me wasn t better so I told them thanks but no thanks.... $2800 for an extended warranty? Come on man lol. So I got the purchase order from them and went home and got the check for the amount on the purchase order. That s when the BS started. They had me talk to one of their finance manager who told me they could beat my financing Because of their relationship with the bank when I saw the application they just changed my info to say my rent payment was $1. They started telling me they couldn t accept my check due to various reason.. money won t be deposited right away.. my bank needed the title.. none of which was true. I brought in a cashiers check for the full amount and they just gave me BS why they couldn t take it. I read some other reviews on here and everyone that tries to do outside financing or pay in cash has these issues. All of this to get me to finance with them. I ended up having to do it because I wanted the car but I ll be refinancing the loan the same day that it books and I have a payout amount. The way you guys handled this was absolutely ridiculous. I would ve appreciated if just told me you make no money if you don t get the financing rather than having me bring in a cashiers check then making up new reasons why you can t take it.

If you want to save money, you should consider this dealership. But if you don't inspect the car really well, you will spend the money you save trying to fix all the problems that the car has. Most of the vehicles are off-lease so expect things to fail due to wear and tear like the battery, which I had failed in mine, windshield wipers, and some new tires. Don t even try to put a deposit down, you can call and they ll say they will call back the next day to get a deposit from you, don t expect that call because that is not going to happen. They will also try to add a $550 Perma Plate charge that covers things that you can clean with $10 car cleaning stuff from Walmart. We were there for 4 hours and the salesman were probably talking to us for a whole 10 minutes. And if you pay with your debit card and cash, they'll take the cash and charge the card even before they give you the contract to sign. Customer service is nonexistence, don't expect anything after your purchase. My car's battery a few days after and I called, they said email them the invoice and they'll reimburse. Never got any call back or any email updating it. It's been almost 10 days since that. My car has a missing navigation SD card and they said they'll mail it in 2-5 days. It's been almost 3 weeks and it's nowhere to be found or heard of, they'll just tell you it's in back-order. The "we owe" paper is useless.

Edit: they ve reimbursed me for the battery, sd card is still nowhere to be found. Customer service manager never left an email or phone number to be contacted.

Edit 2: customer service left a response a few days ago on here, I have yet to be contacted. I also called them sometimes last week, they said they would escalate my file but nothing happened.

Edit 3: emailed them at customer.care@driversselect.com and SD card was sent the day after. Got it today (09/15) and it works fine. Review was changed from 1-star to 3-star.

Timeline: I bought the car on 07/18, got a "we-owe" paper for the SD card. Battery was dead and had to be replaced the day after. Called them about faulty battery on 07/23, said they would reimburse me, got the check in the mail on 08/17. SD card got here on 9/15.
Left a bunch of voice mails and never got a call back, only after the 1-star review that they reached me and try to resolve the issue. If you want them to reach you quick, update your reviews and the rep will reply to your review.

Worst experience ever!! We get greeted by a salesman named Harry, completely rude and a smartass. Just wanted to go in and purchase a car but the way he treated us made me want to leave asap and sure enough I did and went to another dealership and had the best service and got an even better car for a better price. Don't know what was up with that guy but he needs to get checked. Save your time and money and go up to an actual dealership these guys are just sharks.

I worked with Harrison, he was very helpful and courteous, did not pressure me to add services. I got a fair offer on my trade and within about 4 hours drove with the new car.

If there was an option to give this a 0 star review I would. This was hands down the worse experience at a dealership I ve ever had. My husband and I walked around the lot looking a potential cars to buy. We narrowed our search to 4 vehicles. We go inside and sign in as required. Once our sales guy came he looked at us and said what do you need . He did not introduce himself or even attempted to make us feel comfortable. I explained we had a few cars we wanted to look at. He said we were only allowed to test drive one vehicle, and if we weren t buying today he wasn t interested in helping us. I will NEVER be back to another Drivers Select.

The people that work at driverselect just off of I-20 and Frontage Rd in Grand Prairie, TX are excellent!!! Every employee that helped me was courteous, intelligent about vehicles and truly cared. I recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. I speak highly of the managers and employees. Giving them top 5 stars. If I could give more stars I would!!!

I was forced to buy a car after I struck a deer and the insurance totaled out my vehicle. Due to financial concerns, I was unwilling to purchase a new car, but I wanted a late model with low mileage. I shopped Drivers Select, Car Gurus, Carvana, Edmunds on-line, and local car dealers. I kept going back to the Drivers Select website because they had only late model cars with low mileage. The local car dealers did not have a large inventory of the cars in which I was interested, and the cars I found had higher mileage than I wanted with prices that were higher compared to Drivers Select. Jeff Jewel at Drivers Select was very helpful and attentive to my needs and did not hesitate to return my calls with answers to my questions. I drove approximately 150 miles to try out several cars from their inventory and settled on a Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring with all the bells and whistles far below the prices I found at on-line sites and local dealerships. Most people thought I had a brand new car because it is in such great condition. It still has the new car smell and is still under the original warranty. I LOVE MY CAR!

I will suggest that if you find a car you really like on-line at this dealership, you need to go as soon as possible to drive and look it over because these are such good deals that they don't last long. Two of the cars that I looked at on-line were gone before I could get there, but I am satisfied that I got the right car. The atmosphere is very casual, the salespeople are ready to help, but if you like to haggle and negotiate, this is not your place to shop. It is almost like going to a supermarket. Shop the deals on-line first from the large inventory in the price range you can afford, then go to the dealership to try your choices out, and then pick the one best for you. I am convinced that this is the way to buy an almost new car.

It was horrible dealing at driverselect. I finalized a vehicle , it was a Nissan altima . i was about to buy but someone hit it in the lot so they said they will repair and let me know. I contacted everyday whether the car is repaired or not . Finally after 4 days it was repaired and ready for sale.I used to drive form Southlake to the location to talk to these guys. I applied and secured a very cheap loan from dcu. DCU was asking for a sale purchase agreement before dispatching the check. I told the same thing to dealership but they refused to provide it before they get check from bank. that was a deadlock situation. i asked dealership to provide sales purchase agreement to bank as this is a very normal practice when you buy car and take a loan from 3rd party bank but they refused. i offered a $2500 down payment upfront to dealership and asked them to keep the keys until they get the check from bank given they provide sale purchase agreement to bank but they still refused. This was very strange. I said ok i will go ahead with your finance then , they asked me to fill a credit application and ran a and check on my credit . I was still happy , at least i will get a car after struggling since 3 consecutive days at the same dealership. They asked me to wait saying they are doing paperwork and car detail and i will get car. I waited for 3 hours and suddenly a manager comes and says that they sold vehicle to someone else. that was disgusting and totally unprofessional . i immediately logged in to their website to check if vehicle was still listed, Oh boy it was still listed. So i got two hard inquiries (dcu and dealership ) and wasted 6 hours at dealership and came home without a car. true unprofessional-ism

I ve been looking for a good deal on a nice car for awhile. I was a little difficult to work with because I wanted a specific vehicle, but Naod really worked with me to make sure I had a good deal and drove home in the car I wanted.

This place is super nice too. They walk you through what vehicles you want. They take you outside and let you check out all the vehicles and even test drive them. Naod was very patient and understanding with me which I really appreciated.

The car I bought was in excellent condition too. Honestly was not expecting the vehicles to be in that heat of shape with the prices they had. Overall the process was smooth and now I have me a nice car!

I saw a vehicle online for a really good price (which honestly made me suspicious) emailed to confirm the vehicle was available and was told that it was. A couple of days later I was contacted by the sales rep via phone, and was told that the vehicle was still available. As a victim of hurricane Harvey, I lost my previous vehicle to the flood so I needed a new car. Before I traveled from Houston to Dallas, the sales rep called me again to confirm if I was still coming and that the vehicle was still there. He wanted to get my information over the phone to run my credit, I told him that I would call him back but never did. After driving five hours to Dallas, I stopped by another dealership to look at them the same vehicle, while I was there I was contacted by the sales rep again to confirm that I was still coming and that the vehicle was still there. 10 minutes later I left the dealership that I was at to go to Drivers Select. When I arrived, I was told by the sales rep that someone put a deposit down on the vehicle that morning! He tried to get me into another vehicle that I was not interested in. I feel like this company uses bait and switch to lure customers into their dealership. I was not happy with my experience and left the dealership. I purchased a brand new vehicle from somewhere else.

Buying a vehicle at Driver Select could not have been easier. Our Sales Rep, Paul Michael, was helpful, thorough, and attentive throughout the entire process. Paul Michael was able to work a deal for us, stayed within the budget parameters we set, and got us into 2 "New to Us" cars. Once we got to the dealership, the longest part of the deal was getting 2 cars detailed and delivered. Will definitely return to purchase again.

Had appointments, drove 1hr to the dealership, had to wait around 1 hour to finally get someone came out and serve me ( I had appointment!)

Picked a car, placed deposit. They ran my creadit report and submited finance application. Told me to pick up the car the next day. Then the next day this guy Jose called me say the car was sold to another person. (What???!!!)

Then I call him back. He simply blocked me. What a dealer!

Try all effort to avoid this unprofessional dealership, and this salesperson Jose!

This was my first car buying experience and I have to say it went very smooth. When I first expressed my interest in a car, Chris Scheu helped me from the get go. Living and working in Austin, it was difficult to schedule time to visit so the first car I actually inquired about was sold a couple days after. Chris would continue to inform of new identical models that would arrive however I was looking for a particular package. When I finally found the one I wanted, I took it upon myself to take a Thursday off and drive up there and Chris made time to help at the drop of a hat. As I mentioned I was a first time car buyer and Chris made me feel comfortable with my purchase, with no pressure and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I spent a good amount of time at the dealership sorting out things with my bank and throughout it all, Chris was patient and very helpful. Coming up from Austin during the morning and forgoing breakfast, he even invited me to the breakroom and let me fix a plate of food that they had brought in for their employees.

That Thursday I purchased the car, and I had to return to Austin without the car, then drive to Houston that night for a family emergency. On Friday I then took a bus from Houston to Austin in the morning and he had all my paperwork ready for me to get going and the car waiting. It was as smooth as could be in not only a first time car buying experience, but also during a difficult time with my family emergency situation. Thanks for helping me out Chris. I recommend visiting Drivers Select and asking for him. They have a great inventory to go along with their great customer service.

The company does a great job when you want to buy a car. They answer the phone, they feed you as you wait, etc. I was pretty happy with the process until I decided to drop my GAP protection, which the salesman assured me was no problem. I have paid more each month and now the value is more than I owe. BUT, when you need something from this company, all you get is answering machines and no call backs. I have spent several days over the last month trying to get this done. Maybe they delay the process so you end up paying for a couple more months. I received an email wanting all this info, then next a response that I needed to give them more information. It is none of their business if I choose to have or cancel GAP insurance. I can cancel health, homeowners, etc. with no explanation and no stalling. I began this process in July and it still isn't resolved. I do not recommend this company. The only way I could talk to a real person is to press sales...and then of course a human answers. I then asked to talk to a manager and of course, none are available. It is customer service like this that eventually destroys a company.

Bought a car about 2 months ago (Mini Countryman), the sales guys as always are kind, but the post sales team is really the worst. And as it's obvious, the sales guy (Joshua) didn't want to deal with any post sales issues.

First, they hit my credit score 7 times with different lenders without my consent, when I asked the sales guy (Joshua) he never offer to remediate it.

Second, they didn't provide me with a safety package/spare tire/jack or even the wheel lock, so if I had a flat, I was screwed.

Never return any phone calls, the phone number for complaints/claims they give you in the warranty/paperwork doesn't work (disconnected), it's really hard to get in touch with any customer service employee.

In a nutshell, prices are good but they will try to stick to you an extended warranty package in your deal and if you don't choose one, they don't want to close the deal. They won't accept your own lender or pay in cash.

Inspect your car really well, I probably should've been more careful to avoid having those issues but I would never EVER would buy another car here again.

UPDATE: I Did send an email to this "Customer service" guy Wes W. which seems more like an autoreply bot. If you want to buy a car from these guys, first try to call customer services as a test, and see if you phone call gets through. And that's what you'll expect afterwards.

Chris Pouncy and Joseph Hanlon were able to take a terrible buying experience from a traditional dealership and turn it around completely! We stopped in Friday night, and though there were no associates available to assist us (because they are by appointment), the Sales Manager, Jospeh, took the time to pull a car we wanted to see and allow us to consider it. We returned today (with an appointment), took our time considering which car to purchase, and once we decided - guess what. They didn t try to haggle us with higher interest rates (because the price on the car was crazy good - that would have been a place they could make some profit.)

Long story short - it s a different experience and worth the trip.

My experience started off bad. Originally got an 2016 Audi which broke down only 4 days after I drove it off the lot. Also the looked over the paper work which has an extended warranty and gap insurance added for about $4000 extra dollars. They don t tell you the warranty and gap is optional!! Needless to say I was very upset at this point went back in and spoke with the manager and re work my contact for a different car since the Audi broke down. Things turned around once I worked with Asia who is very nice and professional. If you want the best deal possible ask for Gene. He got me the deal and car I was looking for!

We recently bought a car at the Grand Prairie location. Our sales representative, Demeon Washington, was fantastic. Mr. Washington took time to understand exactly what we were looking for. He listened carefully and worked hard to help us find the right car. When we told him we weren t going to buy today and would come back, he was gracious and helpful. We never felt pressured to make a decision. I felt Mr. Washington was very respectful of our wishes. Five days later, we came back and test drove 2 cars. Again, Mr. Washington was very helpful. We found the perfect car for us. The next time we need a car, we ll call Demeon Washington first.

Robert was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! He was very thorough in explaining step by step what was going down (it s been over ten years since I ve bought a car so I was a little rusty) and he was incredibly transparent with all of the information he gave. He and the company as a whole also were very careful to follow social distancing guidelines and take health precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved in the process. In the end, I walked out with the car of my dreams with the payment plan I wanted. I genuinely can t wait to buy another vehicle from him!

We were allowed to test drive the cars alone. There is no haggling the price is what it is which was okay since they already have the best prices around. The whole process was quick and painless. Worked with Greg Brown to purchase a Pacifica. Greg was professional and excellent throughout the process. The first two gentlemen I spoke to, not so much. They failed to send the additional photos we requested over two days. On the third day, I spoke with Greg and he owned the entire process. Despite the rain, he went out and took pictures and video - this was important to me because I was driving 10 hours to purchase the vehicle. I needed confirmation that it was in good shape. Greg made it easy.

After getting the sales quote finalized, less the warranty upgrades, I made my deposit and headed out on the road to get the car. We set an appointment and Greg had the car cleaned up and looking nice. He gave me the keys for a test drive and I was out the door after signing paperwork. The test drive took longer than the paperwork!

Very easy car buying experience, especially after I found Greg, who was willing to sell me the car! Great job Greg! You helped make the drive worth it. The car exceeded my expectations.

Ask for Demeon Washington. One of a kind car salesman. He will respect and treat you no differently regardless if you look like you would buy a car or not. He encouraged me to test drive every car I had in mind (4-5) and even pulled them up side by side so I can make a distinct comparison. Unlike other salesman I dealt with in the past, he wasn t pushy and didn t talk endlessly with no room for me to talk. Everything he said was important, knowledgeable, and concise. I never felt overwhelmed or under-appreciated. He s a super chill guy and very efficient. I usually don t trust people easily and am very skeptical, but I would not have come back here on another day to buy a car if it wasn t for him. I even took the time to write this review which I never ever do.

Brandie was phenomenal and exceeded ALL expectations of what I thought a sales rep was supposed to be!! Very thorough in answering my questions and all of the questions that I didn't think to ask. 2 days ago, I met a great car sales man who talked me through all the details, finance, and quality of my new 2018 Kia Sportage. Mr. Greg Brown guide me step by step of how to finance to save money, took his time with me and no rushing involved. He answered my questions and let me address my concerns without making me feel like I'm pressured or uncomfortable. Also, if you're a negotiator like your price to be a certain price, he's your guy. Today I love my car and don't have any problems with it. Nice company too to purchase your first veichle!
