I'm writing this review as a five star so that it is seen, but I can list a few things they are excellent at:
-not paying off trade-ins so their customers pay on the new vehicle AND the old one, BUT you only have one vehicle still.
- dodging customer calls about why their trade in has not been paid off
-deleting customer reviews when they aren't beneficial to the dealership.
So, if you like to be ripped off AND ignored I would definitely recommend this dealership to you!
Con artists. Lied straight to my face. Have a man pretending he is also interested in the car i am as well on site. Said this man is willing to buy the car for basically full price, and if I left the place the car would be sold. This man walked around so obviously pretending to be interested when we were inspecting the car as well, and when we were outside making a phone call consulting with someone he came out and started over dramatically "inspecting" the car. Only when we looked at the car was this man there. Called back next day, got different sales person, car is still there. Hah.
Great customer service! completed the purchase in couple of hours, Drivers Select gives 30 days warranty and found couple of issues and were fixed immediately, service department is awesome.

Our Sales Representative was Liz Robertson and she did an excellent job. No pressure. We came back on Monday morning still undecided on the car so she had both cars ready for our second test drive. If you are buying at EchoPark I would highly recommend talking to Liz.
Well worth the drive! We used their site to locate a couple of vehicles we were interested in before driving down. Once there, we were impressed with the size and feel of the facilities: bright, open, and inviting. The staff was accommodating. Our sales rep, Damian, was fantastic. Easy-going and helpful, and patient while we checked out our two candidates. There's a bit of an upsell on the warranty products, which is understandable. You'll have to decide whether those matter for your expected experience.
Gene, the sales manager, was also excellent. The vehicle we bought was missing the SD card needed for the navigation system, and the parts department had left for the day (we were there until after closing). Gene and his team made sure to take care of it.
We got the vehicle we wanted at a reasonable price through a smooth purchase process. It took us about 2.5 hours or so, all-in, which is far less than I've spent at more traditional dealerships.
I've sent several emails recently to the customer care team, and have received no replies. They're very quick to get back if they think they are making a sale, they aren't so interested in taking care of customers after the fact.
Update: it s been a week and I haven t heard anything. Now I m having a problem with the starter and it s been showing a parking lamp malfunction. These people sold me a lemon and have made absolutely no attempt to contact me or service the vehicle.
I give 4 stars because My original salesman really didn t care about me or anything I had going on! He was juggling me & other customers so he didn t have the time. It took the sales manager to come and show compassion & not only that, he got me into the car I wanted with a great deal!

We went to Driversselect on Saturday, September 8, 2019. As expected, we had a wonderful experience. We have purchased a vehicle from them in the past and it went great too. Our salesman was Dan Dasch. We had dealt with him on the first vehicle. He is professional, very nice, direct about what was needed to get into the vehicle, and willing to work with us and our personal situation, which in most car dealerships is not going to happen. Everything took very little time and we honestly had a great experience. We will always purchase our vehicles from Driversselect.
Hensay Qualah made my expirience of getting a first car very easy. He was very helpful, and kind. Drivers select offered so many cars to choose from with great prices making it possible for me to leave my first visit at driverselect with a car.

Large selection of vehicles and our sales guy was very helpful. It was a pleasant experience until I dealt with the finance manager that acted like a three year old because I would not purchase gap insurance and an extended warranty. He claimed I should really consider the warranty because the car we were attempting to purchase was a Mercedes and insulted me by asking if I had ever owned a Mercedes before. When I insisted on not needing the warranty he lied by claiming the bank may just turn down the financing because the car was for my wife and the note would be under my name. I was very tempted to walk away at this point but had drove 6 hours and had already waited 2 hours.

The sales associates I worked with at Drivers Select were fantastic, and I'm very happy with the vehicle and the price I paid for it. Despite this, I am giving Drivers Select a 1-star review for the following reasons:
1. There was a $259 delivery prep fee included that is not part of taxes or titling costs. If every vehicle on the lot incurs this fee, it should be listed upfront in the vehicle price, not included at the end.
2. I was forced to sign an arbitration agreement at time of purchase that was not disclosed before agreeing to purchase the vehicle. I was very upset about this, but I had already signed a significant amount of paperwork, gone through financing and had already given them a check for driversselect from the lender so I felt compelled to sign.
Very bad experience the whole place does not know what to do they really need people with experience. All they got is kids working here that don t know what to do or not..
Let me start off by saying Josh Lopez was an amazing salesmen! He patiently worked with me to provide me all the details necessary before moving forward with my purchase. Being a first time buyer on a vehicle purchase went smoothly thanks to the help of wonderful people like Josh! Great overall experience :)

Super easy process. My salesman DeMeon Washington patiently listened to what I wanted and found a car I fell in love with. I felt heard, understood, and not at all pressured or obligated. It was the BEST experience I've ever had purchasing a car AND they beat the interest rate my finance company had given me and which was already a good rate. The price of the car was also excellent. If you are looking for a car, he's your guy.
My husband and I went to Drivers Select because of the huge inventory. We met Greg on the parking lot, and began to ask him to see cars. His first response was, have you all signed in... We had not.. he stated, he would help us, but didn't want to infringe if we were already assigned to a salesperson.. (integrity) He was very professional and respectful... not hounding like some dealerships. He was upfront, and left no gray areas in our negotiation and process, which was a smooth process by the way. The time was well spent, we got a really good interest rate not to say the price of the car, was better than expected. Lexus IS 250 was a good choice for us. I would recommend Drivers Select because of the inventory, prices and professionalism.
I have read some of the one and two star reviews and i can understand why if you do know what to expect from this dealership. First, this dealership sells a lot of vehicles everyday and they are always very busy. Their prices are cheaper than at most other places. There is quite a bit of wait time, do not expect to get in and out in a hurry when visiting here. Second, understand that if you have your own financing it is ok, but they do not take bank drafts, only cashiers checks. They prefer to do the financing, and yes their prices are low so they do make money on the financing. Our rate was not bad, but we came prepared for that, and have a refinance plan in place. As all dealers do, they will try and sell you gap insurance and extended warranties, choose what you think you will need. The Sales Rep Demeon was very helpful and did a great job for us. Explained everything thoroughly and was very patient and cooperative. We test drove three cars and purchased one. it all took about 6 hours. We believe we got great deal on the car we purchased and a very fair deal on our trade in. When we need to buy another vehicle we will definitely check
here first.
My experience at drivers select was the best I have ever had in terms of the great deal I received as well as the prompt finalization of the deal with no stress or pressure at all. My salesperson was Gene and both my wife and myself are extremely pleased with the service he provided. I visited the dealership on 1/8/2021. Gustavo Argueta was my sales rep. He was amazing! He asked me what I was looking for and initially it was the Infinity Qx30. He gave me all the pertinent details about the car and answered all questions regarding pricing, warranty etc.. I appreciated how knowledgeable he was about the vehicle and how quickly I was able to actually get in the vehicle for a test drive. After the test drive I realized that was not my dream car. I asked Gustavo about the Jeep Compass. He was very patient and again provided me all details about the vehicle and answered all my questions. I test drove the vehicle and knew this was the one. I wasn't quite ready to purchase as there were a couple things I wanted to take care of first. I explained that and of course he and his manager are in the business of selling cars so they gave me all my options and asked if I would like to begin any part of the process before leaving. I declined. They understood, were not pushy, gave me contact info and I left. Later that same day I decided I needed that car today. LOL! I called Gustavo and he was able to send me the application link so I could get that piece done before returning to the dealership. By the time I got back, everything was in process and it wasn't long before I was out the door in my new Jeep!! This was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. The dealership itself is spacious with plenty of areas for all families to practice social distancing and still be comfortable. Their refreshments were good and Gustavo even offered my friend and I fresh papusas (hope spelled correctly). If you are considering buying a vehicle from Echo Park, stop thinking and just go do it. Gustavo is the man to see. He is personable, listens to you and what your wants/needs are, and is not pushy! Oh one more thing...Pricing and mileage on vehicles here is pretty awesome as well. This was by far the easiest car buying experience I have ever had! Everyone was so professional and to the point. Was interested in multiple cars and Marla was able to guide me w/information and cool facts on each vehicle to narrow down my decision. The paperwork was to the point and I didn t feel obligated to purchase any additional warranties if I didn t want to. Mark was also great, and was nice enough to show me a few more features on the car after signing the papers. Definitely left a great impression on me after experiencing one of the worst car buying experiences I ve ever had at another dealership a little over a week before. Great place to buy a car and would definitely go back when it s time to buy another one!

Worst experience ever. The first time I came here was on Saturday morning. I waited for more than half an hour before some one shown up. It is understandable since it was busy. The guy name Josh, asked if I wanted to purchase the car on the same day since he got many customers waiting. I told him upfront that I wanted to see and test drive the car since I have not ever tried it before I made my decision. He seemed unwelcome and asked me if I could come back another day because I am not ready to buy it. I am kind of unhappy since he is not willing to help me and walk a way. However another guy showed up and asked Josh to show me the car. I waited for another 20-30 mins before he brought up the car, but not the trim l want. Nevertheless, I am able to test drive it.
So I gave another shot and came back next week. I waited for nearly an hour before another guy showed up. He actually called me and told me that he would be there in 10 mins. In fact, it took him 20 mins ( I am still okay with it). After telling him the car I want. He actually checked through the phone to make sure the car still there. He asked me to wait while he went to pull the car out. I waited for another 20 mins before he showed up and tell me that he was not sure if the car is still there and went back check it. I am done and walked away. This is so unprofessional. Basically, I waited for an hour a half for nothing. I understand how Driverselect works but this is unprofessional!!! Never come back here again.

My purchase experience with DS was outstanding. I worked with Josh and the overall experience was excellent. After looking around and test drives, to me, DS had better inventory and prices. I have not used the service contract, and hope I don't need it, but from what I read, looks good. I have purchased two vehicles from DS and had similar experience both times.

I had an appointment on Monday 12:30 to see my Mazda. Unfortunately I came late an hour and I felt bad about that, but the front desk lady was so nice and scheduled us another appoinment, we waited another 30mins (which was understandable, they were short staffed due to what s going on now) we were helped out by Edward S and we received quick service and I went home with my dream car an hour later. I was expecting an email so I can help give 5 stars for Edward s service but I hope the management will see this review and recognize him, really helpful and patient sales rep!!

Also, another thing I like about this dealership is that they take this Covid situation seriously, you feel safe being there, everyone wore masks, free masks and gloves were provided as I remember. Comparing to the other mazda dealership i went to in Richardson where no one wore a mask(even though they had it). Driver Select or Echo Park . You guys are definitely are 5 Star!!! I will recommend my people this dealership!

I have been shopping for a van for over 6 months. Even used, the pricing was over our budget. I found just the van I wanted, with all of the bells and whistles, at a price over $3500 than anyone else at DriverSelect. Jeff Jewel was THE most laid back sales rep I've ever met. With most of our paperwork completed online, it was just a matter of the test drive and decision. Jeff made the process quick and painless. I highly recommend this dealership. They only sell gently used, low mileage vehicles that are practically perfect.

Great deals and helpful sales people! It was frustrating that one car we were considering did not have a clean CarFax which we discovered after we had decided to buy, but once discovered there was no pressure to buy so we came back another day for a different car. Cars move through very quickly so you have to be prepared to buy, but the deals are solid.
They are great at selling you a car but then after that their customer service is terrible. I've been trying to reach them for almost 10 days and no one answers the phone and no one returns calls.

DONT WASTE YOU TIME HERE!!! 3 days I'll never get back...worst car buying experience I've ever had. My salesman was "new" and had no clue how to sell a car and provided misleading information that most would have believed...I almost did. Luckily for me, I brought along a friend that works at another dealer, just to make sure I wasn't getting screwed over. That decision alone saved me thousands of dollars!
After 4 hours of ridiculous negotiations, we finally agreed to terms, but it took a sales manager getting involved for that to happen. I was told the truck was being detailed and gassed up for me, that's why we were supposedly waiting another hour after the deal...but, after driving off the lot it was obvious that the truck was not detailed and only had quarter tank of gas!! Shortly after, TPMS light comes on (Tire Press Systm) and front tire sensor isn't registering PSI...truck is noticeably pulling left and vibrating over 70mph. At this point I'm furious....and then I notice a nice big crack in the windshield that wasn't caught before! How does a new truck get sold in this kind of condition?!! It was too late in the evening to deal with anything at that point, so I had to drive the almost 2 hours back home, just to come back the next day.
After speaking with customer care, I drive back the next day to drop off for repairs....This is not what anyone wants to do the first day they buy a new truck! They give me a rental that smelled like cat piss and told me to come back the next day...again, I don't live close at all! So, I come back the next day and was told everything is repaired....but when I looked at the truck, the windshield was still cracked!!!
This dealership wasted 3 days I'll never get back and never once took the time to compensate me or offer anything at all for their mishandling of this situation. If you want a reliable vehicle, knowledgeable sales staff and quality customer service....DONT COME HERE!!!

I could never get in contact with anyone for the vehicles I was interested in. I would email back the info that they requested in my trade in and heard nothing. Tried to call the sales person and without saying hello or knowing who it was he told me he'd have to call me back. I submitted another inquiry and still heard nothing. Submitted a survey stating all this and still heard nothing. Guess they're not that eager to sell cars or make customers.
Paul was great! He helped make the experience as smooth as possible. Most of the details were handled over the phone so that there was a minimal amount of time spent at the dealership. I'll definitely be back for future purchases.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD YOU GO HERE TO SEE MULTIPLE CARS! If I could give zero stars I would. I've driven large trucks my entire life. I decided to go from a truck to a car for several reasons, but mainly for the gas mileage and I had multiple interests. I spent longer waiting on the dealership to be open then actually being helped. The second I told my salesperson I wanted to see multiple cars (5 to 6) I was told, verbatim, "We aren't the kind of dealership that shows multiple cars." Effing really??? You're a used car dealership, right??? So, I blew out, expressed my issue to the manager as I was leaving, who never said a word to me. So.... My business will ALWAYS go elsewhere.

We waited 4 hours to look at a car and then, sorry car is sold . Then they said we could show you another car but then they wouldn t make it the same price as the other one they made us wait 4 hours for. Very Poor customer service.

Very upset, the service was great and they worked with you but honestly hated how long they put you on wait and skip to other customers. They need more staff, now it comes across to a even worse problem. The Finance managers never sent my VIN inspection to Oklahoma to release the title. It's been over 6 months since the purchase and Oklahoma residents usually get their title with the lien holder name on it but they held it.
Edit: second time here and jesus I guess these guys don't get paid commission. They move so slow, took 30 minutes to 45 minutes to even see the damn car.
If you know what you want and they have it then it's kind of a painless experience. They don't have cars at the location so you must know what you want set an appointment and they'll bring them to test drive and purchase it. It's huge and busy. You won't get the absolute best deal but you won't get totally screwed over and you won't have to haggle.

My sales person Larry Pelky provided me with Outstanding service!! I went online to inquire about financing and recevied a phone back within 1 hours. He asked what I was looking for, how much I was going to put down, and what I was looking to pay for my monthly payments. After providing him with all of my information Mike told me he would call me back and he also kept me informed on the process throughout the day. I pretty much did everything over the phone and sent over all documents thatt was needed which worked out great for me. When he called me back the SAME day I had applied for financing to tell me I was approved for the car I chose which was a 2013 Nissan Altima. Not like the other dealerships I went to that tried to put me in a car that wasn't my choice.I didn't have to put down any extra money and my payments are in my budget which is wonderful. When I got to the dealership I was in and out within an hour. I test drove the car, and finished up all the paperwork and was out the door. I would definitely buy another car from here. After being informed about the availability of the MB C450 sedan , I made a 92 mile trip to the dealership, test-drove the vehicle and proceeded to complete a credit application. I noticed that the sales person did not return and I inquired at the sales desk as to the reason for the delay. The alleged Sales manager said someone had come in a earlier to purchase the vehicle. Naturally, I was upset that I had been to the dealership twice without the car I wanted and that MY credit was "pulled". They kept me waiting with no update and later proceed to tell me ... " Sorry the car was sold to someone who came at 4pm". He asks me to look at another car.
The fact that driversselect cannot manage their inventory is one issue, but having a Sales Manager who cannot understand the ramifications of the customer's unpleasant experience is another. I was very disappointed by the dismissive and very unemphatic attitude by one of the Sales Team Leader.
I should have read the 1-Star reviews before coming to this dealership. It appears someone responds to the 1 star Reviews. I now understand why people use the " used car salesman" metaphor.
I will likely go to a Mercedes Benz dealership after this experience, the car may be more expensive but I can be assured of a certain level of professionalism and customer experience.
Transaction went well, we purchased the car we wanted. Go see Luigi, great guy and easy to deal with. Will go out of his way to help find what you are looking for.

Terrible experience. Purchased my vehicle and when I came to pick it up there were 2 parts missing from the interior (they were there when I took the car for a test drive).
I let them know about it before I left the lot(!) and they said they would call be back to help me get a new one. It has been nearly 2 months since then. I have tried calling numerous times and everytime I call they say the guy in charge of those things is unavailable and I will get a call back. Never happened.
If you re looking for a place that ll treat you with respect AFTER you buy a car, stay away from this place!

Dealer only financing. Their cars are priced low, they make that difference up on the back end charging a hirer interest rate. Do not accept outside financing. My rate 2.75% compared to theirs, 5.9. No deal.
I had the pleasure of being assisted by Marla. I can t speak highly enough about her professionalism, kindness, and patience. I submitted my application online, and within minutes she reached out. I gave her my information, and called back minutes later with an offer. The exact amount provided over the phone, did not change upon arriving at the dealership.The transparency throughout this process is very much appropriated. Marla would definitely be my co too, once I m in the market for another car.
If there were an option to give a rating of ZERO I would! The complete lack of communication within the customer care department is insane!! Buyers beware!! Post sale they do not care ensure you experience and relationship with them remains pleasant! The customer care is a complete joke!
I bought my vehicle on Tuesday May 26th. By Wednesday May 27th (less than 24 hrs after having the car) my right front tire had to be replaced due to the tire being rotted which caused it to pop. I contacted the dealership and received a follow up call the next day (Thursday May 27th) from Myriam Gonzalez of the guest loyalty team. She advised me to send over a copy of the receipt for the replacement tire I purchased so I could be reimbursed. I immediately sent the receipt via email to her direct email address she provided me. I was advised by Myriam then that the reimbursement process would take 10 business days.
It has been almost TWO MONTHS and I have yet to receive my reimbursement or even receive proper follow up! I patiently waited the ten business days and even gave it an extra couple weeks. By the end of June I began to call Mayriam to follow up on my reimbursement request and to this day (July 23rd) I have yet to hear back from her! I emailed her, left her countless messages, and each time I call her or the guest loyalty number NOBODY answers the phone or returns voicemails. I had to finally reach out to the sales department on July 9th to have Jay get in contact with the guest loyalty center so they could follow up with me.
I received a voicemail from Wes on July 10th who stated the request was forwarded to the home office in North Carolina but the status still showed it was in "holding". He stated that he was unsure why the request had not been completed but hopefully he'd get an update that same day. If he did not have an update that same day he advised that he'd follow up on Monday July 13th with an update. His exact words were "we'll get this pushed through whatever we have to do'. Sorry for the delay". I called Wes back that same day Friday (July 10th) to let him know that I'd received his message and looked forward to hearing from him by Monday July 13th. I felt better at this point thinking there was finally going to be a resolution coming soon. Little did I know that was just the beginning of another set of countless call and voicemails to Wes and the guest loyalty center once again!!
I did not hear from him Monday, so I attempted followed up with Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and even last week. Each time I received NO RESPONSE! I even sent an email on Friday July 17th to the customer care email. The same one that Wes advises customers to use to contact him when they have an issue in his responses to their google reviews.
This past Tuesday afternoon I called the sales department and a sales agent told he he'd put in a request for someone to follow up with me either that same day or first thing Wednesday morning, and also for Tory to follow up with the guest loyalty team to ensure that a follow up was completed. As I am sure you can imagine that follow up NEVER came. I called again this morning and talked to Jay who assured me I'd hear back from Mayriam by 5pm today. Well, it is currently 7:00pm and once again I have yet to hear from ANYONE!
Jay also told me that they used to handle reimbursement issues at the dealership, but as of a couple months ago that process changed and the request must go through corporate. When I asked for a corporate number to be able to follow up with them directly I was told that he was unable to provide me with that information.
Throughout this two month ordeal I have been neglected, deceived, and lied to. I have been more than patient and understanding, but at this point enough is enough. I am no longer accepting excuses, lies or the runaround any longer. I do not want a response advising how you apologize about the experience I have had. The only acceptable response is that the check is on the way. I want my issue resolved immediately!

Lots of cars. Sales experience was pleasant. Very different environment than other dealerships that I've been to. They don't negotiate the price. You pay the price + taxes + 300 for other fees.
