Yesterday I went in for an oil change and my experience in the past has definitely been better. I dropped my car off while on lunch and planned to pick it up when I got off. With any service you get, it comes with a free car wash. I called my sales rep before I picked up my car to make sure it was washed. I was told that it was washed, but when I arrived my car was still dirty. So I was basically lied to. Now I m upset. I called to confirm and my car was not washed at all? You guys say it s your procedure to wash every car that s getting serviced, but what happened? I also felt rushed when dropping my car off and picking it up. I will not be returning. I d rather drive a little further and go to Acura of Plano for servicing.

I m generally not a fan of the car buying experience but he made is quick, easy and painless. I greatly appreciate it when someone can cut through the bs. He was upfront with everything, and had some sound advice to help narrow down the options. Definitely didn t get the cliche pressure sale tactics some folks give. I also liked the deal I got. I asked for best and final and he delivered. Last but not least, he minimized the wait time to bare minimum.

Their service team is the best, I always go there for oil changes and any issues with the car as they do a complete inspection and notify me if any service needed, the system automatically send a detail report with all the issues found and the service advisors are so helpful in explaining the issue in detail and taking care of the car, their waiting area is very nice with free wifi coffee/water/snacks so you can catch up on your work. Also love their drop off and pick up service to home, I keep track of coupon that they post online, very resonable price and peace of mind that a honda trained technician is working on my car.

The salesman educated us on the importance of this survey the first time he talked about it. The next four times he brought it up and the phone call reminder were overkill and annoying. The dealership needs to be exposed if it is true that you take $850 out of his pocket if there is a single less-than-perfect rating on a survey. His card says "Council of Sales Leadership Silver". If that is a merit-driven award it may be because no one wants to starve his children.
They quoted $27,000 online for a car. The final offer was for $39,000. High pressure tactics to sell you gap insurance, extended warranty, preventative maintenance program, fabric protection and all they show you is the car payment. You never see the detailed billing until you have signed everything. They tell you fabric protection is free, but the final bill showed $850. They create a false sense of urgency by telling you someone else is here to see the same car.
They put a charge in for pin-striping and splash guards, which were factory installed. The price you see is nowhere near the price you pay. Their Irving location had the same car cheaper. After I looked at both, the second dealer raised its price to match, not lowered by this dealership. Seemed like collusion.
They did give a hassle-free fair market trade-in on my car. The car salesman was wonderful. The business manager handles the financing. His name is Jae Kim. Beware. They also make in clear that they need a 5-star review, very important to them.
How do I trust your dealership? I bought brand new car from this dealer a year ago. But I came back for two warranty issues. In addition, my driver side door got paint scratches during warranty repair recently. When I tried to drop the car for body shop, there was no loaner car available. I had to go back next day. Please don t try to cut the corner to fix the mistake.
Excellent speedy service!. I was met with the person assigned to me when I arrived. He took my information in a very cordial manner. I made myself comfortable expecting to wait at least an hour or so. At 45 minutes my car was serviced, washed and waiting for me. I was so pleased because I had other things to do. Thanks Honda

Do your research. The car that they will show you first will sound like it's a great deal but it actually isn't. Look on their website first. I just purchased a 2016 civic (with scratches and paint chips that I didnxt notice beforehand - my fault and I'm a first time buyer too) and found out that there is a 2018 model with lower mileage same features for cheaper! I am very disappointed since I really trusted the salesperson. It may sound like they are really trying to help you out but after all they are all about the $$$. My advice, never trust all of they say so you won't get ripped off. Now, I am stucked with this for 6 years to pay. And yeah, they said it's all checked and everything because it is certified but the next day the tire pressures are low. Great >_<

Had my car serviced and inspected. I was dreading having to sit indoors for an hour but there was plenty of outdoor seating! The service gents treated me great and the young man who brought my car saw my limp and moved my car closer so I wouldn't have to walk so far after paying. It was a great experience.

Our sales rep Anthony was awesome very personable and tried really hard to find us the car we wanted. We settled on a car and took it home (after they stayed there until almost midnight). After sleeping on it we decided we bought the wrong car. We called Chris the new car sales manager in the morning explained our concerns. He could easily have said too bad, you bought it its done... But he didn't; he asked when we could come in to talk about our concerns. We showed up after work. Chris was out but the other manager said "What can we do to make you happy with your purchase?" after explaining our concerns (note there was nothing wrong with the car it was just different than we originally thought.) He asked "If I change these things will you be happy", after some deliberation between my wife and I we told him; no we would be settling and we wanted a different model. Again they could have said too bad. They gave a helper to our sales person to make sure we were 100% satisfied. After spending another 4 hours with us we found a car we are in love with. They crunched the numbers, got us our perfect car, lowered the payment, and did it all with BIG SMILE. There were several times where my wife and I were technically in the wrong and they did not have to help us; but they went out of their way to make sure we were completely satisfied. I also have to say thank you to KJ in the finance department for making the paperwork process very easy.
To wrap things up when we are in the market for another car David McDavid of Frisco will be the first place we go.

I brought my car in for an oil change, and 2 hours later I am still here waiting. If there is going to be a wait that's fine, but when that wait is longer than the movie Braveheart then expectations should be set up front. Next time I'll go to one of the many places on 121 that charge half the price and do it in less than half the time.
I worked with Ali Nodeh. Overall, I'm very happy with the Honda Odyssey. They have some new restrictive features in Honda which take some getting use to. Dealership was very helpful and overall process was smooth and fast. They were kind enough to overnight my plates to my house so that I didn't have to drive out from Garland. Ali was extremely professional and polite and was able to get everything done for me quickly in a few hours. We had a minor hick-up in the paperwork and Ali was kind enough to drive all the way out to my house personally to get things fixed quickly and papers signed. It was enjoyable experience and we already have put 2000+ miles on the new 2019 minivan.
Went in on a Saturday Noon with a prior appointment for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation. Was in and out in around 70 minutes. Eric Delgado was my service advisor. Their process seemed to be streamlined with lot of visibility. This is my first visit to their service department.

Chaotic during construction. It's not apparent that they still sell new cars (they do). There is no car showroom and the former showroom floor space is filled with small round tables and chairs. While walking around, nobody asked if they could help me see any cars. In the parking lot where you would formerly see many new Hondas lined up, it also felt like a used car lot with a relatively few new models mixed in (all new cars are apparently in a lot in the back).
Service bay is busy, and the wait is long (as it is with all dealerships), regardless of making an appointment. The coffee carafes have been empty each time I've been here, except for luke warm decaf.
Overall, a definite decline in service experience. I hope it's short-lived as they complete construction. It would be a shame to have all North Dallas dealerships feel so glum.
I didn't go to David McDavid of Honda in Frisco to buy a car. I went to look at my options. But from the moment I walked into the door until the time that I signed my finance paperwork, I knew I made the right decision. My salesman was Marvin Waterman and I'm ecstatic that I met him that day. He answered all my questions and made the process of test driving to finance as painless as possible. We spent the better part of the day there, almost 6 hours, and after test driving three different cars I finally found the one that I would drive home. I will forever be a McDavid customer. Their level of professionalism is astounding and their customer service from greeting you to taking you through the buying process cannot be matched by any other Honda dealer. Five Stars for this dealership!!! Go see Marvin...you won't be sorry. And buy a new Honda while you're there!!!
I will never go there again. I walked in with Capital One per-approval since I had issues with my credit about a year ago. I told them Honda is not going to approve me I had issues with them recently. They said to fill out a credit app. They said it's a soft pull so after I filled it out I told my salesperson Andrew I have credit monitoring I don't want to see any inquiry. One of his manager walked in and said with a smile he never had such thing soft pull for car dealers. I told him your salesperson is the one saying it. He said Capital One requires a application so I said OK just Capital One. Andrew came back when can you come in tomorrow. I said late after work. He congratulated me on the new car. Next afternoon, he texted and said Honda didn't approve due to previous issues with them. I asked him why they went through Honda when I told them not too. His answer was in effort to better serve you to give you a better deal possible we had to try. Why would they try when I told them I had issues recently with that bank! They are so desperate to sell their car. I dealt with John Pomroy, JP Kinman and Andrew and all three didn't care what I said. They cared what they wanted to do. I wish I could give them 0 star.

I bought my car from this dealership and I have had problems with the car not starting. I took it back while still under warranty and after some diagnostics, they told me the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. It was under warranty so they replaced the battery with a 3 year battery. 9 months later, I began having the same problem with the car and again am being told it is the battery and now I have to pay $129 for the battery. Car is out of warranty so now I have to pay full price for a defective battery that only lasted less than 1 year. Rude service manager and upper manager said after I pay them their money, then it will be guaranteed for 3 years. Just wanted the money. I will never come back again for anything. They lost me and my family. This is bad practice. I wonder if the battery had lasted for only 2 days past the warranty period if I would still have to pay. What is wrong with this picture?
I had the manager reach out to me on this matter and he got this resolved. They were gracious enough to refund me the cost of the battery and I now have his personal cell number in case I have any further problems with my car. All in all I am more than pleased that they made things right for me and I now have a new respect for this location and the service they provide. I will continue to bring my CRV to them for service as I have in the past. I have had 5 CRVs and this is the first one that has given me any problem. I look forward to buying another car from them should the need arise. Thanks again to David McDavid for taking this matter seriously and helping me out by making this right. Keep up the exceptional customer service.

Great service department. Very busy with lots of people to help. I pulled right up and was almost immediately assisted. I had my oil changed and tires rotated. I was quoted an hour, and I think it took a bit longer than that, but when I went to pay, the service attendant said he would comp it because of the wait. I was completely shocked and so grateful. I had my three children with me (5 yr, 3 yr and 1 yr). They had enough to keep them entertained and plenty of space to walk around. I will definitely be going back.
Got new Honda civic 2016, and i had worst bad experience in this showroom, the car i got was just good from outside, under the car the whole molding was damaged, usually you dont see under the car how's the condition, this happened immediately after next day of my purchase, i have to stop in middle of highway, this showroom sold me this car as honda certified and has 7 year warranty, when i went next day they said dont worry you have warranty, what if there is no warranty and someone purchases a car and next day you get an issue you don't repair it for free? i got so many rude answers from this showroom, and there will be a reply to this review when i called them to escalate they dont even care, these review replies are just to attract customers and to showoff they care them, no matter how many times i go here they always try to rip off you from different services,

This is the most unorganized dealership ever. I had so many problems after I bought my car that were completely their fault. Empty promises were made. I had to make like 3 trips there to follow up on things they messed up. I ll never refer any one to go there. Glad I have my plates so I never have to go back.

There scheduling is awful and worthless. It will always take same long time if you go with appointment or without appointment. They won't honor other Honda or sister dealerships coupons! Staff member will force you take/buy unnecessary services.

Went for an oil change for my 2012 honda civic. Excellent service but the wait for horrible. 2.5 hours for oil change is ridiculous. I checked in at 2:20 Wednesday evening...I will get an appointment next time
Mark Ladd gave me a pretty reasonable deal on the new 2017 honda crv. His service was exceptional and he provided me with great insight on the inside and outside feature of the vehicle. I was a bit upset at first with the trade in value for my car, but given the condition of the car, it seemed like a fair estimate. Definitely recommend Mark Ladd as a salesman !

Within couple of hours, i was almost ready with all financial requirements taken care by Honda itself. The best thing was that no one forced any decisions...
Minor formalities and by the end of the hour, I had the keys to my Honda Civic. At the end of the day, not a bad deal wherein you get a car well under your budget with all the amenities on high end car.

I bought my car at David McDavid of Frisco and I have always received a great service from them. -Sergio is my service rep and he always responds to my questions and treats me with courtesy and kindness.
Took my 2019 CRV 17K miles in today for B1 Service. Had booked an appointment at 730am. Arrived at 7:15am. At 8:35a, get text that additional services needed: alignment and NEW TIRES! I opted for alignment as the car is 17 months old, however new tires are 17K miles? And the option was to replace with Hankook, which were the same tires. Why would I want to put another set of tires that would need to be repaired at 17K miles? I declined the tires and then sat for another 1.5 hours. 3 hours for a tire rotation, alignment and oil change is too long.
VERY disappointed that new tires on a vehicle purchased brand new need replacing at only 17K miles. As someone that currently owns 3 Hondas and has been brand loyal for 30 years, really irritated me that Honda is putting trash tires on a $36k vehicle. Very disappointing. Not McDavid s fault, but they are the dealer and should alert Honda.
Very pleased with the service from the Service Department at David McDavid in Frisco. They do a great job explaining what needs to break done and why. Some dealer's service departments appear to overcharge for their service. I have always found David McDavid in Frisco to be priced competitively with other smaller shops around town.

Made an offer over the phone to a salesman named J.T. and he said he would call back with an answer to my offer. It is nine hours later, and I have heard nothing from him. His phone goes to voicemail so I will buy my next car from another dealership.
Service was good when I was in the process of actually buying the car. Except for when I wanted to finance through a specific lien holder, and they convinced me it would be easier to finance with them and then refi through the other lien holder. Absolute LIE. Once I drove it off the lot they were impossible to contact when I went to refi, and they also wayyyy over charged me on warrantees. Bottom line, they have nice vehicles, but know what you want when you go in, and don t let them tell you you can t finance through who you wanted to finance through to begin with.
Kelvin is personable, and he ensures that I 'am satisfied with the level of service that he provides. Before working with Kelvin, I regretted purchasing my vehicle from this dealership. My salesman was wonderful, but the finance managers have a mien of derision, and it marred my purchasing experience. Nevertheless, I look forward to working with Kelvin in the future.
