I bought my car from this dealership and I have had problems with the car not starting. I took it back while still under warranty and after some diagnostics, they told me the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. It was under warranty so they replaced the battery with a 3 year battery. 9 months later, I began having the same problem with the car and again am being told it is the battery and now I have to pay $129 for the battery. Car is out of warranty so now I have to pay full price for a defective battery that only lasted less than 1 year. Rude service manager and upper manager said after I pay them their money, then it will be guaranteed for 3 years. Just wanted the money. I will never come back again for anything. They lost me and my family. This is bad practice. I wonder if the battery had lasted for only 2 days past the warranty period if I would still have to pay. What is wrong with this picture?
I had the manager reach out to me on this matter and he got this resolved. They were gracious enough to refund me the cost of the battery and I now have his personal cell number in case I have any further problems with my car. All in all I am more than pleased that they made things right for me and I now have a new respect for this location and the service they provide. I will continue to bring my CRV to them for service as I have in the past. I have had 5 CRVs and this is the first one that has given me any problem. I look forward to buying another car from them should the need arise. Thanks again to David McDavid for taking this matter seriously and helping me out by making this right. Keep up the exceptional customer service.
