Had a heating system tune up but they did not come with the filter for the heater and told my wife that the humidifier pad didn't need to be replaced. They had a check list which supposedly showed all of the work they did. When I checked the humidifier pad scale chunks came flying off of it and the damper was not opened, but that was checked as green on their list. I called twice to complain was told someone would call me back but that never happened.

We installed a high end furnace, AC, and hot water heater 6 years ago with Pronto and it was one of the best investments we've ever made to our home. The service from Pronto is top notch. This past week 6 years after our original install we had issues with our furnace starting up and they came out, identified the issue, and fixed it all in about 45 minutes.

I normally don't submit any sort of reviews, but since there was (to be honest) a bit of an incentive to do so I figured I would so you knew why we went elsewhere.
When our AC went out a month or so ago we decided to interview 6 companies to find a replacement AC unit. After a week or so of meeting with no-name companies to highly visible/well know companies it came down to price. Apples-to-apples, your price was significantly higher then the competition (and we did NOT go with the lest expensive). Your sales guy was GREAT - very knowledgable and likable but when when it came down to it, your price was do hard to swallow - so we went with a different company.
In the future if the need arises and we go through another interview process will will keep Pronto in mind on the hopes that your pricing will be more competitive at that time.

The gentlemen who helped us purchase and install an air supply system were awesome. Respectful, personable, and did great work. They answered any and all of our questions. They didn't rush us in setting up the work and appointment to install. Made us feel as though we were their only appointment of the day.
The installers were awesome. Respected our home and our space. Walked us through every step of the process with confidence and patience. They even explained everything they were doing and why and then explained again to my husband when he got home from work.
The pricing was less than the other comparable companies in town. The financing was easy and stressfree. They left our home cleaner than they found it. Layed down plastic in any areas they needed to walk or lay equipment. They were in our home for almost 10 hours and never made me feel uncomfortable or inconvenienced.
My husband and I would recommend them to anyone who needs any work done.

We had many issues with our 15+ yrs old AC (and heating system), and decided to upgrade to a new HVAC system. We first called them to fix the current AC and started asking around for a quote for the whole system update. We ended up going with Pronto because of their competitive price, high quality and excellent customer service packages. We even got a full rebate for the old AC repair.
The new HVAC installation took about 8 hours, and they walked through every detail, including the new changes, instructions and maintenance tips. I am very impressed by their efficiency and professionalism. Big shout out to Jesse, Jeff, Blaine and their team!

Same day appointment was fabulous being our AC unit stopped working. Service person was prompt, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We did need purchase a new unit and scheduled an install for tomorrow so hopefully all goes as smoothly. No complaints!

Wow! I just read the other reviews ( on YELP) and most of them are scathing. I am pleased with my experiences with Pronto this year. I have had my furnace and A/C replaced. This was a preemptive strike; there was nothing wrong with the old ones but I wanted to replace them before they failed unexpectedly. I got a huge discount and multiple rebates back from the utility companies. And, yes, I received ALL of my rebates. I am shocked at my electric bill. I ran the A/C all summer and the electric bill was HALF what I've experienced in other summers. (I keep thinking that XCel made a mistake.)
Special shout-out to Matt B. for being my favorite service technician. He's super nice and patient. He carefully answers all of my questions--and I have a lot of them. Best of all, I never have to clean up after him after he's left. You should see the mess that some other companies leave! I always ask for him to do my twice-yearly checks.

Who really wants to replace their A/C and Heating units? My furnace went out during the cold, cold winter weather. My A/C had been giving me trouble for a couple years. It was time to pull the trigger and purchase a new A/C and Heating system. After getting a few estimates, I decided to go with Pronto. I worked with Logan F. Logan is very straightforward and extremely responsive. The installation crew (Haso M, Chris R. and Gustavo G) were very professional. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Pronto!!

Vintage AC unit was dying on us. Pronto customer service was excellent. Technician came out and even wore booties so he didn t muck up my hardwood floors! He knew his stuff, spoke plainly. Gave me mains tips, system pros/cons. He had good warranty and industry background too. Very happy with service - would recommend!
This company has very bad service. They have too much business so they don't care about their customers anymore. The contractor Mike Rogers had bad attitude. He went to my rental property to give me a free estimation, but he didn't want to access the upper unit because the bad smell. Yes, the smell is not good, I admit this, but many others can go into the house and work there. Only him, he doesn't have any interest in this business just because the bad smell. He told me that he was not going to have his guys working under this condition. Probably he only works on luxury house. So you have a small old house in St Paul, never call him. He would show you disrespect and waste your time and money. I drove back and forth, in total 75 minutes to go there for nothing. I feel very upset.
Pronto was competitively priced and had excellent customer service. Henning was very helpful troubleshooting our old boiler and did a great job on the install of our new one.

Logan came out within an hour of a call made to Pronto, fixed the air conditioner (mouse nest - chewed wires!) and now we re back to normal feeling cool and comfortable.
I moved out of town and needed some work done on the house I'm selling. They were able to take care of the work and get payment over the phone with no hassle. Work was done promptly extremely happy with the service. Also needed an invoice and a special form sent to me via email took only minutes to get excellent company to work with.

The new system looks awesome! They did an excellent job, everything is nice and tidy. The sheet metal bends are crisp, the wires are tied back and piping looks great. They definitely paid attention to the details.

Peter was terrific - arrived exactly when he said he would, quickly diagnosed the problem (clogged condensation line), took care of everything and cleaned up the area beautifully when finished. He also made sure the HVAC systems were working before he left and gave me advice on how to prevent it from happening again. Instead, I just signed up for the Pronto VIP Program so they will check my furnace and A/C twice a year - including the condensation line. I made sure I get a Pronto sticker for my furnace so I know who to call in the future!

Pronto has excellent customer service. We received two email notices ahead of the day, a confirmation call the day of service, a photo of the tech. who was going to arrive, and a prompt appt. arrival. Eric was pleasant and helped explain the contract that we had, since it was new to us. He was also prepared with extra filters and changed them for us, removing the dead mice in the process!
Helpful, recommended different options and scheduled someone to come out to give me an estimate on a replacement AC unit while service person was still there.
Travis showed up exactly when Pronto promised. He was exceptionally professional and friendly. Got along very well with my dog, which is a concern for any dog owner in a situation like this. Great service, I'm very pleased! Travis is great!

Pronto replaced our water heater last week and returned to handle a small warranty issue. Great service.
I called Pronto thinking that I would need to replace my water heater. Sean came out and informed me that my water heater was fine but the issue behind my lack of hot water and low water pressure had to do with the old (galvanized) water pipes. Sean replaced the old water pipes and now everything works great. All the work was completed at a fair price. Very satisfied customer!

We had our furnace red-tagged (meaning it was dangerous to run) on a Friday at noon. I called Pronto at 12:30 and they had someone at our home by 2 p.m. to give us an estimate. If we had made our decision to go with Pronto a little quicker, they could've installed our furnace the very next morning. As it was, they were at our home at 7 a.m. on Sunday. Doing the installation at no extra charge!

To cap a small radiator in a 1920s home ( to remove and tile under) they quoted me $1500. This would take 2 trips and I would be surprised if it was an hour each time (just remove, drain and cap). Ridiculous.

I called last week to have an A/C unit looked at in a home that my husband and I just purchased. The tech that came out new we were first time buyers and could see that we were young. He tried to tell us that our A/C had a leak and that we would need to spend another $800 to know where the leak came from, on top of the $150 I already paid for them just to look at it. I had AIRKINGSMN look at is as they are who our home owners insurance set us up with and they were amazing they cleaned the dirt out that was never even looked at by PRONTO and he cleaned it and our air is operational. There never was a leak they were just trying to scam us for our money. I'm sure we are not the first. I would never suggest this company to anyone.

Matt Brust went above and beyond. When others told us our A/C zoning system could not be fixed and had to be abandoned, he tracked down and installed a replacement control panel, restoring the system to original function. Very pleased with Pronto and especially Matt.

The consumer hears too often the negative side of dealing with a contractor. It was such a pleasure to have found Pronto that excelled in every step of the process.
Greg was on time for the initial consultation which was a step in the right direction right off the bat. After a complete site inspection (inside and out) a proposal was made. Every question I had was answered and the reason for the system being presented was justified as the one to meet my requirements and the issues of my residence.
On the day of installation the crew was on time, surveyed the job site and took steps to protect my property before any work was done. The job was completed on time and the site was cleaned up. I was given a tour of the equipment with detailed instructions for operation. No question I had went unanswered. Follow up communicaiton was received from Pronto to ensure I was satisfied.
