Only second's after I stepped on the Covert Chrysler dealership's lot I was kindly greeted by Buck Ashcraft! Buck was super awesome to work with and incredibly knowledgeable about the type of car I was inquiring !!!! Showing off a vehicle's strong points and neat packages was easy to understand with him explaining! He made trading in my truck a breeze! Also I really appreciate Jonathan Alcala for making the process happen smooth. Thanks again too all the people at Covert !!! Love the new car!!

If you want the least stressful car buying experie...

If you want the least stressful car buying experience, ask for Albert. He understands the merit of treating clients with kindness instead of forcing a hard sell or a quick sale.

When I first came into the dealership, Albert was the only one to stand and meet me. Presumably, no one else thought I would actually buy a car...but I am glad Albert is the one who stepped up to bat.

We ended up staying about an hour and forty five minutes longer than the dealership was even open, just so we could close the deal and I could take the car home the same night. I appreciate that he stayed that late without a single hint of impatience.

Albert knew the answer to the vast majority of my questions, and always secured the answers when he didn t. He is new to car sales, but will be a quick learner and a solid team member. Nice hire, Covert Auto.

Overall, it was a great car buying experience. I could not be happier about who my commission is going to - a real stand-up guy.

The service center has a 2-3 day wait for them to work on your vehicle. During that wait, your vehicle has to sit there on their lot and they cannot accommodate any other arrangement. As a small business owner who needs the vehicle to operate, this does not work. I cannot shut my business down for 3-4 days so that my vehicle can sit idle on their lot. They were completely unwilling to work with me even though I could bring it in almost immediately once they could get around to it.

My review is for salesman Freddy Anguiano at Covert Dodge in Austin. We met with him in mid November about a Jeep Grand Cherokee. He was very professional and helpful, while not being overly pushy. He found the exact vehicle my wife was looking for and we picked it up on December 19th. (He was very patient with us as we took over a month to decide which trim level, colors, and features to go with). He has a warm personality and a depth of knowledge that is rarely found in sales today. We will definitely look for Mr. Anguiano the next time we purchase a vehicle!

Went here for new tires and to get a key for the tires. Long story short, they didn't have a copy of the key for my car so I left empty handed. 3 hours I cannot get back. The free shuttle service had an hour wait time. If I get a flat tire I'm stranded. The service tech had great service and so did the receptionist but I left disappointed by the Dealership again .

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've bought two ...

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've bought two vehicles from this location, & I can honestly say I've never been more disappointed. They gave me the run around on my warranty for nearly two years, AFTER I'd requested it be cancelled & the difference refunded within the first few months. Tried to give them a second chance, as they are a large dealership with Jeeps & very near to my area. I purchased a certified pre-owned, 2012..... which has already been back to have things fixed 2 times in the 2 weeks since the purchase. Now, attempting to drive through several states, our check engine light pops on & starts flashing. I've left NUMEROUS messages with the service center & nobody has returned any of my calls. I have been transferred around to 5 different people that immediately put me on hold & transferred me. I've been hung up on without getting a chance to speak. The customer service here is absolutely putrid & I am so bitter that I made the mistake to work with them again. I will NEVER refer somebody to this establishment, nor will I ever purchase another vehicle from here. This establishment should be ashamed at how you treat your customers.

5 stars for Kenneth and his team at Covert Dodge!!! I am so happy with my purchase and amazed at how simple it was for me to purchase; and of course it was all thanks to Kenneth!! He is so knowledgeable in his field, answered every question I had (and I had plenty), was very patient with me and my picky details but above all, he made everything so simple for me. I can't thank you enough for helping me choose the right vehicle; if ever I or someone I know is in the market, I will definitely point them in Kenneth's direction!! Great job Kenneth and the Covert Dodge team!

I cannot say enough about my sales person Robert. Robert went over and beyond helping me on my new Grand Cherokee purchase. It took me a month to decide. During this process I bet I called him three times a week. Always patient and kind. I normally do not write reviews, but his service was so outstanding I want him to know how much he was appreciated. Also outstanding service from Mr. Williams in finance.
Thanks Robert

Such a painless car buying experience. I have been dreaming about a Jeep Grand Cherokee for YEARS, so I already knew exactly what I wanted before coming to the dealership. Donnie helped us out and from the moment I walked on the lot to driving out with my car took about 3 hours. No haggle, no hassle, Donnie truly cared about getting me the best deal. They understand that buyers already do most of their research (know what a car is worth etc). Donnie was great - so friendly and a really good human. I recommend anyone looking for a new car to check out any of the Covert dealerships. I believe they truly care about their customers - not just making a buck. Thanks Donnie for helping me find my dream car!

This review is a little late, but better late than never. The service we received from Kenneth was exceptional. We had a car accident late last year and needed a new car asap. We really weren't looking forward to the usual routine of going to look for a car, spend all day at the car lot, deal with a pushy salesman, etc. We couldn't have been more pleased with the experience we had. Kenneth walked up to us as soon as we arrived. He was friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. It took us approximately an hour and a half for us to find a car, sign all of the paperwork needed, and drive off the lot. Though the car itself has been excellent, Kenneth was truly a joy to deal with. If we ever need another car, and we may need one fairly soon, we won't go anywhere else. Thank you for your hard work and keep doing a fantastic job!

Worst service department I've ever been to. The s...

Worst service department I've ever been to. The service guys always ignore me and make me feel like I'm bothering them every time I've had to go here. I avoid this place whenever possible. This is the second terrible experience I ve had, also it s a bit long.
March of 2018. I schedule my Chrysler 300c in for the airbag and alternator Recall in February of 2018. I show up early to drop it off (0700) and tell them all the other things that need to be done, such as an oil change, air filter etc.

I talk to the service advisor and let him know that I would need a loaner for the day. He tells me they do not give out loaners, as there is a waiting list that is weeks long. I explain that when I set up the recall, I was told that it is first come, first serve for loaners. If I would have known I needed to schedule for a loaner, I would have done so when I made the recall appointment a month ago.

He begins to argue with me that this is the way it is, and he has put me as a waiting customer for my car. I explain that I did not need to wait on my car for 6 hours at the dealership, as I needed to run several other errands today.

He tells me that he can give me a ride anywhere I needed to go. I asked him if he was able to shuttle me around to different places today to get my errands done. He tells me no, that they do not offer that service. I request the keys to my car and leave the dealership. This isn t the first time I have run into service issues at this dealership. It appears that my service advisor doesn t know what Covert Dodge s policy is or is hording the loaner cars for an unknown reason.

It is important to note that the service advisor told me several times that he is trying to treat me just like everyone else. I have only heard someone use this phrase twice in my life, today, and several years ago when I was present when a guy was being accused of being a racist. I never accused him of treating me different, just asked him what the process was.

I called and spoke to the service manager, Bill, who explained that there WERE loaners available, and he was aware of the incident. Bill sounded very genuine and stated he would try and rectify the situation. We will see if Covert Dodge can get their act together. I m going to try and meet with Bill this morning face to face. I met will Bill, and he assured me that I would be able to get my card done. He rescheduled my appointment for the 26th, (which still has not come as of this writing.)

On 3/19/18, I bring my 2015 Dodge Charger to the service area for its recall. I had previously set up this appointment with the Chrysler. To my dismay, the part was not available, but I had not been contacted. There was courtesy call, and I had nothing to show for my loss of time. The service associate that was helping me said he would order the part and let me know when it comes in. What was the purpose of making an appointment? Unfortunately, I do not have days off to keep going to this service area. Not sure what the issue is with these guys.

I contacted the service manager, Bill, and explained the situation. I asked him why I had not been contacted and the appointment cancelled. He told me he would find out what happened and call me back. He did not call me back, but had the service call me to explain he had ordered the part and would again, call me when it came in, and we would, go from there .

Still waiting to see what will happen, and this will be updated when anything gets done.

I had the pleasure (yes I said pleasure) of dealing with Express Lane Advisor Walter Randolph today. He was very polite and courteous. He took the time to explain everything that needed to be performed and even caught the fact that my vehicle had a recall. He was on top of it! He has to be the best service advisor I have ever dealt with. I will be back. Thanks for your help!

I came from 9 hours away for a vehicle that I wanted, and Chris Gates was amazing to work with! He had everything lined up for me before I got there, and most importantly, everything went exactly as I was told it would. No surprises, just a very seamless transaction. He answered all my questions promptly, and made it, by far, the best/easiest car purchase I ve ever had!

Covert Jeep has been a literal DREAM to work with ...

Covert Jeep has been a literal DREAM to work with as far as car sales go.... this was mine and my husband's first experience going through the process of purchasing a new car and we had quite the journey to say the least. to make a longgg story short, we live in south austin so we first walked into south point dodge/jeep and from day one it was an unprofessional disaster. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO SOUTH POINT! regardless of where in Austin you live, don't waste your time and do yourself a favor and work with Covert Dodge/Jeep to begin with. i SO wish i would have known to work with Covert from the start instead of wasting 2+ weeks on South Point dealership and it would've made the entire process wayyy less of a headache. In the end, Jonathon at Covert Jeep saved the day, literally. He sourced out the ONLY jeep compass altitude with the additions i was looking for in the state of texas. and made the entire process fairly seamless. he was professional, timely, communicative and so genuinely nice as well as honest, which is hard to find someone you trust in this industry. thanks to him and Mitchell we left with our brand new Jeep Compass Altitude on saturday may 26, 2018 and couldn't be happier! i will definitely be referring this dealership to friends and clients in the future! thanks again Covert! y'all are the best!

ONLY BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP IF YOU HAVE TO!!!! ...

ONLY BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP IF YOU HAVE TO!!!! Be aware that you will not get a return phone call or final documentation on your purchase. I bought my husband a jeep at Christmas and have yet to get final documentation. We have called and emailed almost weekly and still have not received it. We have talked to the salespeople (numerous ones) and to the sales manager many times. We are assured that we will receive promptly. BUT AS OF TODAY, STILL NOTHING...AND NO RETURN TO MY EMAIL. They do not care about return business and this is so sad. I paid them in good faith, but they do not seem to have the same ethics as I do. I would love to just return the jeep and buy from someone else. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY FROM A CAR DEALERSHIP IN ALL MY YEARS! We live out of town or I would park in their front driveway and warn people. I have never written a google review, but this warrants it. A TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP AND EVEN WORST MANAGEMENT. Would love to get final documentation.

By 2pm yesterday we had visited 4 car dealerships and I had given up on finding my dream truck and just wasn't up to a "full contact" price negotiation followed by a finance manager arm wrestle.

However, my wife talked me into driving over 90 miles to Covert because of one of these reviews. I've never thought much of these reviews but that has changed.

Mike M. (Our sales man) had driven to another Covert lot to get the exact truck my wife had called him about and the truck was at Covert Dodge when we arrived. Mike knew the truck top to bottom and was very informative but most of all Mike was a great listener.

Honestly, I would rather have anal surgery than spend 2 hours on a car lot but this was totally unexpected. I actually enjoyed having someone tutor me on all the installed options and spent more time doing that than sitting inside with the finance lady! I got the truck I wanted, very close to the price I wanted and I have learned the value of honest online reviews!

First timer here for purchasing a vehicle, and if I can just say Covert really out did themselves with giving me a tremendous experience in & out! Kenneth Arriaga helped me out while I was down visiting the dealership and he was absolutely wonderful. Fully attentive, and an outgoing personality to top it off, working with him was extraordinarily pleasing and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend giving this place a shot, you won t be discontented.

We came in on a Monday evening 3/26/18 and were helped by a salesman named Trey. Nice guy, got us $3000 more for our trade-in than the previous dealership we went to. We told him what we had been pre-approved for and he was able to get us the car (certified pre-owned) we wanted without all the back and forth. Left happy customers and recommend this dealership if you re in the market for a Jeep, and ask for Trey if you re interested in having a nice and relaxed car-buying experience. Thanks again!

Called in 3 times. The lady I talked to took my name and number told me someone from the service department would call me back to set up an appointment nothing all three times. So I tried the website to setup a service call and guess what no response. I am the service manager for a air conditioning service company and I find this ridiculous. Taking my business somewhere else if this wasn't so annoying it would be fun. How can you run A business like that and keep your doors open.

In response Dustin I have already made arrangements with Nyle Maxwell on getting the needed service work done and have no desire to attempt
to have a discussion at this point after the fact. Thanks

I had shopped at 4 other CDJR dealerships over the...

I had shopped at 4 other CDJR dealerships over the past month or so (1 in person, 3 online) looking for a particular Jeep Grand Cherokee that fit my budget. The first dealership I sat down with couldn t get the numbers right but agreed to call me if anything resembling my specs came through. I hadn t heard anything in 10+ days so I called back to see if they had found anything. No, but we have this higher package...blah, blah... . So when I just happened to click the get more info button on Covert s page, I didn t think I would hear back like 2 of the dealerships, or worse, get spammy emails with incorrect opening headers to address my name like another. Instead, Mike Kozlowski politely emailed with a simple, non-spammy type format that seemed more personal, and sent a follow up text asking me if I had any questions about the vehicle. It wasn t the exact JGC I was looking for, but I was pleasantly surprised again when he was able to find one *in less than 3hrs!* in an online inventory search across other dealerships. I thought it was possible in this tech age, but had been let down in previous attempts by that other dealership. Mike made sure everything was on point with my specs for the new-found Jeep and even got me a good deal with my trade. When I drove in to see the vehicle I planned on buying, he had his finance guy come personally talk to me. Conrad was a nice guy and assured me the financing institution I picked was a good one, before I had even signed any paperwork. He did do a good job trying to offer more insurance packages once it came down to signing things, but he wasn t pushy or aggressive when I declined. I appreciated that. After I accepted all the terms and it was time for me to swap vehicles, Mike even offered his personal, reusable HEB bag for me to put my gear in. Yes, it IS the little things! Even though both gentlemen were just doing their jobs , they still made this car buying experience more pleasant than my previous ones. Two thumbs up for Mike and Conrad! I hope they get a good kudos from their managers at Covert. I will definitely refer anyone looking for a CDJR vehicle to Mike! Thanks Mike!

Call Trey Bearden - that's the guy you want to help guide you through this experience. I was looking specifically for a used wrangler and emailed the dealership through the Car Pro USA referral website that claims to give you VIP treatment if you do so... Well, I actually got VIP treatment, no BS, no pushy sales, just simple guidance and information to help me make the best choice. Wasn't expecting to roll off the lot with a new vehicle but everything just seemed to come together as far as price, timing and service, so I pulled the trigger and rolled out in a great jeep! Trey and Mike in finance were a huge help in putting my mind at ease, which made me feel a lot more comfortable with my decision to finance. Anyhow, I was pleasantly surprised with my entire experience, it wasn't like all the horror stories you hear about.

This review is strictly for the Service Department...

This review is strictly for the Service Department.

Initially, I had a great experience with Covert CDJ, but it has gone downhill quickly.

I initially brought my 2010 Jeep Wrangler in for recall notices and everything went great with the service. They had my vehicle back to me the next morning and all was good.

Cut to about three weeks to a month ago, I scheduled an appointment online for service. 1st issue: my name is incorrect in their system. Finally find it (last name listed as first and vice versa) and make the appointment. I opt for my own transportation when making the appointment because it was only going to be a one-day, maybe overnight, completion.

Cut to the day of the appointment and I drop off my Jeep. Clay ends up being my Service Advisor and I can tell he knows what he s talking about. He gives me the rundown on what to expect. Confirms that it should be done by the end of the day, if not by the next day. Keep in mind this appointment was made for a Thursday morning at 7:30 AM. I have Thursday-Sunday off work so this is perfect timing. I give Clay my phone number and he informs me I will receive a text message to opt into messaging with him. 2nd issue: At this point I ve given my phone number to Covert CDJ three times now. Once for the recall notices, once when making the appointment, and another now with Clay.

3rd issue: The day goes by and no calls or texts from Covert CDJ.

4th issue: Friday morning comes and goes and I still don t have any calls or texts, so I decide to call at about 1-1:30. I give my phone number for a fourth time to the person that answered the phone for the service center. She forwarded me to Clay s line and I had to leave a message. Again, I left my phone number on the voicemail. Five times now.

About fifteen minutes go by and I receive the opt in text I was told I would get the day before. I opt in and receive a message from Clay telling me a tech is just now looking at my Jeep. 5th issue: Did Covert CDJ forget about my vehicle? I tell him to keep me posted on what the tech says.

6th issue: Into day three, a day after I was told I would have it back at the latest. I get a message from Clay telling me what the repairs will be and cost estimate. I give the okay for service repairs at about 8:30 AM. 7th issue: The rest of the day goes by and no follow up from Clay or Covert CDJ.

8th issue: Now into day four, but it s Sunday and Covert CDJ is closed. Of course, that was not communicated to me. So here I am, without a vehicle to go to work on Monday. No one offered me a loaner from the dealership either so now I have to call into work. I send a message to Covert CDJ through the text chain asking for a follow up, knowing they re closed, but I wanted to make a point when someone saw it the next day.

Day five. I receive a message from Clay apologizing for not responding as they are not in operation on Sundays. He tells me he hopes to have it completed by the end of the day... Hopes? It s day five. 9th issue.

About noon or so on that Monday, day five, I receive a message that my Jeep is ready for pickup. I head to the dealership and pay while they [try to] bring my Jeep around. The guy that went to get it tells me, It s dead. Let me get a jump start. Really? He gets it jumped and explains there is a small bit of buildup on one of the battery terminals.

Cut to 20 minutes later, I make a pit stop before getting home. When I go back to start my Jeep, it won t turn over. 10th issue: it s not the buildup on the terminal, it s the fact that the battery cables were never tightened back on after service.

I get a call a few days later letting me know if I was unhappy with service, please call Bill (Service Director). I call and leave a voicemail explaining that the service was good and I m not unhappy, just disappointed, would like a call back, and I don t want this to happen in the future. Still no response a week later.

Unfortunately, Covert CDJ has lost my business.

I went to look at a Jeep and tried to negotiate a better price as other places had lower prices. The sales men were overly cocky saying that "I would find no better offer" and that I could look around but that "I'd be back to buy from them". I bought a brand new Jeep 2 days later at Bluebonnet Jeep for less money and worked with nicer people.

Now, here s a dealership who really provides outstanding customer satisfaction! I am completely honored to say that it was a pleasure doing business with Covert because everyone from the sales consultants to the business manager bend over backwards, jumped through maximum hoops to seal the deal!

I was able to finalize my newly purchased Jeep Compass Lattitude last Wednesday, which I am completely in love with! My sales consultant Manuel was very kind, found me exactly what I wanted and even stayed late to make sure I went home in my new Jeep! The sales manager John and business manager Peter were both wonderful because they went above and beyond to seal the deal by all means and were very understanding of my situation. They were very genuine in assisting me with making sure I did not leave their dealership disappointed as I did with another dealership earlier that day.

I am so pleased with Covert Chrysler Jeep Dodge, and would highly recommend them to anyone else looking to purchase a new car! If I could rate them more that 5 stars it would be my pleasure to!!! I would like to say to the team, job well done from a very happy customer!

Sincerely,
Ms. Scott

The sales reps here are phenomenal. Trey Bearden never gave us the impression that we were trapped or pushed into making a decision. We went to several places that day and each seemed like they would not take no for an answer. The other places were helpful but at the same desperate to make a sale. My wife had specific requirements in what she was looking for. The other places did not have they vehicles that could meet these requirements so the pushed what they had. Covert had a wide range of vehicles that met the requirements that allowed my wife to pick from options she hadn't considered. After purchasing the vehicle of my wife's dreams, Trey was also nice enough to show her how operate all the features and even paired her phone for her. Rusty from financing was able to work with our budget and even beat the other banks we were approved through. Oh and yes the picture of the fish he caught can make anyone envious. I would highly recommend this team to anyone.

The Covert team is wonderful to work with! I recently traded in my last car for a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jonathan made the entire process a breeze. I inquired about the Jeep on a Tuesday evening, went in Wednesday after work to test drive, and left in my new Jeep that night. The team stayed later to get all of the paperwork done and to make sure I was able to leave with my new car that night. I would definitely recommend Covert!

Buying a new car can is very stressful and exhausting. We walked out of many dealerships due to same old song and dance they put you through, and they couldn t even find me the exact car I wanted.
Saw Covert Chrysler online and not only were their prices the best and upfront, we had the pleasure of closing the deal with Dwight Pullman. They had the exact vehicle with specs we wanted and after looking for over a month, we knew we were getting a great deal and they gave us additional $ of the purchase price for Military. We had a deal. Drove up same day from San Antonio, Dwight and Covert Team were waiting and had everythIng put together with exact deal we agreed upon over the phone. No surprises.
We were in and out and it was easy peasy. Dwight was knowledgeable and friendly and well worth the 2 hour drive to give him and Covert our business. This was 6 months ago and now we are going to see him again for car #2

Had a great experience with them. Specially with these Covid-19 issues they made it super painless to buy a vehicle. Javier the Salesman was helpful and was more than willing to ask about negotiating the sales price of vehicle. Peter the Business Manager was amazing and had no problem with explaining every little thing on the sales contract. Did everything by phone and They delivered and took my trade in directly at my home. I Definitely recommend buying from here or even just come on down or call.

So, we don't have our car back yet - they have a crazy number of cars in line to be repaired (450+) ahead of us. So, it'll be another few weeks. Reason for the 5 star - the service department was awesome when our car engine did bad things & we were towed in. We had been on our way to pick up my MIL's ashes for her funeral 2 days later. Needless to say it was a very bad day. When we told the service department what had happened, they immediately took my husband in their courtesy vehicle to the funeral home to take care of that, while I took care of the car getting in the service que. We would've settled for a good cab company name as we don't live in Austin. The employees were awesome jumping to our rescue that afternoon. For that alone, they get 5 stars. Many places would've given us a phone book and said to call a taxi since the funeral home was a bit farther than the courtesy vehicle typically drives in the area. Thank you Covert's!!!

Don't do reviews very often but always feel compel...

Don't do reviews very often but always feel compelled when someone or a business really impresses me. Recently leased a Grand Cherokee Overland. San Childs was the sales representative. Sam made this, by far, the best car buying experience I've ever had in my 30 something years of buying cars. Sam is a true professional and obviously comfortable in his role. I was trying to decide between a couple different makes of cars, narrowing it down to the 4 Runner and my the JGC. So, that entailed several visits to your business and Sam always found time for us and was understanding and accommodating and his impressive knowledge, practicality, and affable low key/nonpushy approach made it a very pleasant and confident experience....something that's been atypical in my past experiences overall. The precise model I wanted didn't exist on your lot. Sam found the perfect one in Fort Worth, initiated a trade for it, was there the next day. I spent maybe, and unbelievably, only an hour there that day finalizing the deal. And most of that was just friendly conversation. Mr Greer in finance was exceptionally fair, accommodating, expedient and obviously well experienced and had the contract worked out even before I got there based on about a 5 min discussion a couple of days before. Amazing. Even Edgar Cruz who was not involved in the sale took it upon himself to help answer a few questions about the car a couple days later just before your closing time. The whole experience was great and I appreciate it. Also sent similar message to the Car Pro show site which I used. They emailed back saying they weren't surprised, about the quality of care. Thanks again. BV

I recently purchased a Jeep from Covert and every time in the last few months I've called the Service Center, they are unhelpful and basically tell me that they are "super backed up" and can't take my Jeep in to get worked on... not in one week, or two weeks or five weeks. Not only do they say they are "super backed up" over and over, they act like I am putting them out by having called a business to ask if I can pay them for their service. I have spoken to one person several times (which for his sake, I'm not going to call him out by name) and he continues to express his annoyance that I would call to see if they can squeeze me in. I'm letting everyone know that if you need to get a car repair or service, go somewhere else because these folks have too much business! Use another good local business instead.

Thank you to Kenneth Arriaga and the team Covert Dodge ! We had a great experience from the start. Kenneth made sure to do the research comparison for to help us make the best decision for us. He was extremely knowledgeable in the product. We walked out with a shiny new Dodge Ram pickup. This says a lot coming from long time Chevrolet truck owners. Nothing felt forced. Kenneth knows the right questions to ask and made sure we had all the info we needed to make a solid decision. We are very happy with our new truck and especially with Kenneth and his professionalism. Thank you!

What a rip off. They charged me $160 + dollars for an oil change, yup $17 per quart. No car wash, no car cleaning. I just moved here from Seattle where for $70, you got oil change and a complimentary car wash. The staff were also not very polite, and they pretty much rush you in and out. Never, ever coming back. Also, my wife and I both buy new cars every two years, so you lost that too. Disappointing.

I have to add to this. A few weeks later now, I start smelling oil, and now smoke. There is a puddle of oil under the car in my garage. Please keep in mind this is a 2017 Dodge charger, pretty much brand new. So not only did I come to find out they charged me double, but now screwed up am oil change. Calling my lawyer tomorrow. These people are in professional, and don't belong next to a car. They have endangered my family and myself, and should be held accountable.

Went there yesterday to check out an SUV and the guy who took care of me seemed like he wanted to help and layed down an estimate of my payments on paper for me. I didn't like the estimate so I rebounced with a counter offer. It was low but I was trying to make a deal and expected a counter offer from him since the car had 2500 miles. He got up and talked to his manager and brought back the same offer on paper. I got up and he just told me this is the cheapest price you will get, I checked all the other dealerships. I drove an extra 10 miles and found the same car $1000 cheaper and with 0 miles. Hope you all check other dealerships before you show up around here.

Bough my first new truck from J. He was friendly, attentive and forthright about the sale. He took into account my financial situation with my last vehicle. Constantly blowing up my phone with calls and texts to see what we ca make work. Did have to ignore some of them because I was at work. He searched all avenues to get me into a truck that I was looking for. I knew my vehicle was not a valuable trade in but his dedication was impressive and showed strong character. I am pleased to have him as my salesman and would recommend not only friends but family as well.

P.S. Your new electronic deal signing screen that you use in finance needs some more bugs worked out had to redo the signing a few times. It didn't bother me having to do so but it sure did stress your finance guy Chris Mcdaniel pretty sure he wanted to take a Louisville slugger to it.

I typically hate shopping for new/used vehicles as I always seem to get talked into something that I didn't really want but sounded like a better decision at the time. J listened to what I wanted found me two vehicles that matched my needs and the next day I drove away with a new truck. He was not pushy with my decision allowing me to re-evaluate what was best for me. I now have a 2500 Dodge that I plan to drive until the wheels fall off. Very happy with the process here. The only reason I dinged it a start is a simple error in the finance department has me returning to the dealership simply to run my credit card. Mistakes happen and no one is perfect, just inconvenient with my schedule for the week.

Took my car there because the transmission was not...

Took my car there because the transmission was not shifting right. It was still under warranty so I wanted to get it taken care of. When I dropped it off I was told it would be at least a week and was given a loaner truck to drive. I told them to also take care of the recall on my car while it was there and they said they would. 5 days later they call and tell me they had updated my transmission control module, my HVAC control module and took care of the recall. They test drove it and could not replicate my complaint. So I go pick up my car and had already missed 3 hours of work to do so and when I get one block down the road it is shifting worse than when I took it to them. Not only that when I get home from work later that night I look in the trunk for the wheel chocks they were supposed to install per the recall they supposedly took care of and there are none. These people did nothing to my car because it was warranty work and they were not going to make any money out of it. The service department are crooks and will straight lie to you. Stay clear of this place if you need your car fixed.

They do not hold true to what they say. I called to put money down on a rare(ish) pre-owned vehicle with the intent of coming in the same afternoon to complete the purchase. They "claimed" they do not take deposits and it is first come first served in person only policy. After arranging my schedule, on my way to the dealership later that day, they texted to say - there was another person who drove the vehicle the previous day, did not purchase, but was coming back later in the day to purchase and that they put a deposit down already so the vehicle was "already sold". It is what the EXACT same situation as I requested and that I wanted to avoid. Beware of what they claim as store policy, as they interpret their own rules however they see fit.

Took my Dodge Ram in for recall work, and to fix m...

Took my Dodge Ram in for recall work, and to fix my horn because it had stopped working. First, after verifying my appointment with them twice, I got there and they had no clue about "why" I was there. I had purchased the "everything, bumper to bumper" vehicle warranty during purchase of my truck. I was told it would cover everything! Well, I was told that they thought mice may have played a roll in my horn not working! My truck stays in an enclosed air conditioned, sealed garage. I do have trips I make to my ranch property. At any rate, they couldn't show me physical proof, because they said they had brushed it out! They told me because they thought mice had been in the engine compartment, that I would have to pay the 700$ horn component myself! My warranty was invalid! I NEVER saw proof of mice, and I find that extremely hard to believe because I take care of my vehicles inside and out. On top of that, I had been told they would pay for me to have a rental car from Enterprise, because it would be a week of repairs. Well, a month after I turned in the rental car,and paid my extra(because I wanted more than a base rental), I received a call from Enterprise saying Covert had refused to pay the remainder of the base rental fee! Since they turned down my high cost warranty repair, they weren't going to pay for the rental car either. No one here knew what anyone else was doing. They were rude, and I feel they took advantage of me because I was a female. I had to just take "their" word! What a horrible way to conduct business! I would never suggest this dealership for any kind of warranty work,or all too often, "recall" work! Never again, and that very expensive extended warranty I purchased has been worthless. If they decide they won't accept it ,you'll be stuck with huge out of pocket bills. Terrible service practices and rude employees.

Picked up vehicle from service. $650.. repair not an issue. It is the sale of "you get a 21 point vehicle check"..not exactly sure how many check they perform..the obviously don't include tire pressure check and lamp check...a front driver side front light burned out...not one tire but all were different pressure.....the purchase from this dealership was not easy either a year ago..check everything before you leave.

Best part was that Richard helped me out with a Chrysler Good Will warranty option that I was not aware of. It saved me a pile of money! Great service Richard, Thanks!

Great car buying experience at Covert Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram! Had to make difficult decision to downsize from a truck to a Jeep and the team here was awesome! Dylan Scott never pressured me and never felt like a "sales" guy. He worked hard to earn my business and they even found a better finance rate than my bank. Go see Dylan. You wont be disappointed.

I randomly stopped at Covert as I was actually heading to another dealership and spotted this one with all the pretty Jeeps. I told Edgar exactly what I wanted (basically as close of a replica from my totaled car as possible) and he nailed it. He took great care of me, was very knowledgeable and was extremely patient ( I ask a lot of questions and things kept coming up delaying the buying process). Edgar is awesome to work with and I highly recommend him!

Very Unhappy!!! Never take your vehicle into the service department unless it is free! I recently used a coupon from the Covert s Chrysler Dodge website for a full synthetic oil change plus tire rotation for $59.95, only to find out that since service adviser recommended I purchased a set of new tires for $1,000, which I couldn t afford, this voided my coupon. When it came time to check out, Covert proceeded to charged me $102.99 for an oil change! After some harsh word and my refusing to pay, Covert did reduce the charge of the oil change to $78.04. But he did stress, repeatedly, That since I didn t have my tires rotated, I couldn t use the coupon. And my truck took 6 quarts of oil instead of the 5 quarts which were advertised in the coupon, so I was charge $11.99 per quart. When I asked why he didn t tell me this before, he said he did, and I didn t want new tires. I am a senior and had to save up just to have enough to pay what I thought would be around $65.00, like I had paid in the past. I was very upset and had to pay Covert $78.04 just for an oil change! I was not happy, but the new oil was already in my truck so what recourse did I have. I was taken advantage of, so be careful when dealing with this dealership!

NEW REVIEW: Check engine light came on in my husba...

NEW REVIEW: Check engine light came on in my husband's jeep for the oil pump to be fixed/replaced. It's covered under warranty so we thought we'd give Covert a 2nd chance to fix the issue and redeem themselves. Service department is STILL AWFUL. We took it in mid April I believe, and they called and said all that needed to be done to fix the light was an oil change because whoever changed the oil previously over filled it. Ok whatever just fix the issue. Go to pick up the jeep and are surprised to find out that we have to pay for the oil change (no problem there) but they also charged us a diagnostic fee of almost $200. This was part of warranty work so we should not have to pay for the diagnostic fee. Fast forward 3 weeks and only 206 miles later and the check engine light comes back on FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. Clearly they didn't "diagnose" the problem properly and just wanted to make some extra money. We will not be coming back here again to purchase or have "work" done on our vehicles.

My husband took his Jeep to the Covert Chrysler Jeep Ram service department for work that was covered under the warranty. They called him to (of course) tell him of all these other things that need to be fixed on the Jeep as well, but proceeded to say those were not covered under warranty and would cost us $1300. Thankfully, my husband got the warranty departments information and called them directly to check that this was, in fact, not covered under warranty. The warranty department told him that it was covered and the dealership needed to fix it. Ricardo in the service department did not like that we called the warranty department behind his back, and after my husband escalating the situation up to his manager, told my husband that "this time they will fix it under the warranty, but in the future it would not be fixed under the 7 year power train warranty, and to not expect it to be." We purchased this vehicle from this dealership, paid for the highest warranty, and it was certified by them stating we have a 7 year power train warranty. The jeep is 6 years old with less than 70,000 miles on it. Integrity lacks here, and I will never purchase a vehicle from any Covert. Apparently a $50 deductible really means you pay the $50, but we will charge you for everything we use to fix the car totaling almost $100. Your service department is the WORST I've ever dealt with.
