Worst service department I've ever been to. The service guys always ignore me and make me feel like I'm bothering them every time I've had to go here. I avoid this place whenever possible. This is the second terrible experience I ve had, also it s a bit long.
March of 2018. I schedule my Chrysler 300c in for the airbag and alternator Recall in February of 2018. I show up early to drop it off (0700) and tell them all the other things that need to be done, such as an oil change, air filter etc.

I talk to the service advisor and let him know that I would need a loaner for the day. He tells me they do not give out loaners, as there is a waiting list that is weeks long. I explain that when I set up the recall, I was told that it is first come, first serve for loaners. If I would have known I needed to schedule for a loaner, I would have done so when I made the recall appointment a month ago.

He begins to argue with me that this is the way it is, and he has put me as a waiting customer for my car. I explain that I did not need to wait on my car for 6 hours at the dealership, as I needed to run several other errands today.

He tells me that he can give me a ride anywhere I needed to go. I asked him if he was able to shuttle me around to different places today to get my errands done. He tells me no, that they do not offer that service. I request the keys to my car and leave the dealership. This isn t the first time I have run into service issues at this dealership. It appears that my service advisor doesn t know what Covert Dodge s policy is or is hording the loaner cars for an unknown reason.

It is important to note that the service advisor told me several times that he is trying to treat me just like everyone else. I have only heard someone use this phrase twice in my life, today, and several years ago when I was present when a guy was being accused of being a racist. I never accused him of treating me different, just asked him what the process was.

I called and spoke to the service manager, Bill, who explained that there WERE loaners available, and he was aware of the incident. Bill sounded very genuine and stated he would try and rectify the situation. We will see if Covert Dodge can get their act together. I m going to try and meet with Bill this morning face to face. I met will Bill, and he assured me that I would be able to get my card done. He rescheduled my appointment for the 26th, (which still has not come as of this writing.)

On 3/19/18, I bring my 2015 Dodge Charger to the service area for its recall. I had previously set up this appointment with the Chrysler. To my dismay, the part was not available, but I had not been contacted. There was courtesy call, and I had nothing to show for my loss of time. The service associate that was helping me said he would order the part and let me know when it comes in. What was the purpose of making an appointment? Unfortunately, I do not have days off to keep going to this service area. Not sure what the issue is with these guys.

I contacted the service manager, Bill, and explained the situation. I asked him why I had not been contacted and the appointment cancelled. He told me he would find out what happened and call me back. He did not call me back, but had the service call me to explain he had ordered the part and would again, call me when it came in, and we would, go from there .

Still waiting to see what will happen, and this will be updated when anything gets done.
