We asked to see a used car, but when we tried to test drive, it wouldn't start. The salesman assured us it was no problem, the car had just been sitting, and that the battery was good. Now that we have purchased the car, the battery won't hold a charge and it constantly has to be jumped. The car is only four years old.
The salesman seemed pleasant but the finance guy wanted to push all kinds of additional charges and seemed angry that we wouldn't purchase. I wouldn't use this dealership again.
No problems, great communication and no delays. I would come here again even though I don't live in the area but is close to work. There is a Toyota dealer just 5 mins from my house but I would rather drive further and come get quality service, efficiency and a friendly smile from the Concord Toyota staff.

The service writer was a big help and they were able to fit me in on a Saturday morning without a appointment. I left the car and went for a walk to my local bank and also had breakfast at a close restaurant and before I finished my meal they called and told me my car was done. So I told them I would be back and pick it up in a few minutes and I walked back as I needed some morning exercise. The service writer and cashier were very polite throughout the whole process and very professional.
I have been using Concord Toyota for several years. Recently I was assigned to a different service person.
I took my V in for a 15,000 mile checkup and said I would wait for it in the showroom.
Nearly 2 1/2 hours later, I went to service desk. Found out that my car had been ready for well over an hour. Service person phoned me, but did not come to showroom to inform me that car was ready. My phone did not ring.
I hope this does not happen again. The service person ought to remember that a customer is waiting in the showroom and not just phone.
Very disappointed with the Service at this dealership. I booked a 2:15 appointment for an oil change and they said it would take 2-3 hours. What s the purpose of an appointment? My car has a warranty that they assured me would cover most of everything but failed to mention the $160 diagnostic that they charge just to tell u what s wrong with the car. They should inform their customers about that rather than just say you ll be covered . They are all about sales over good customer service.

Had a great experience at Concord Toyota. Found a car I was interested online and made an appointment the next day with Singh. He was great and provided me with all the information I needed and was easy to work with. There was no haggling required because the price was already great. There was no pressure to purchase the vehicle and he accommodated my requests. He also helped my daughter purchase her very first car at the same time. So thank you Singh for your wonderful service! I wish to convey a message to all perspective Toyota owners: Thanks to salesperson, Craig Selbach (and Costco), I am the happy owner of a new Toyota Avalon Limited Hybrid. This is indeed a "sweet car," and while I was initially lukewarm on buying this car, the deal was nicely sweetened by the July Toyota sales promotion plus the pre-arranged discount made possible to Costco members. Although there was a car color combo that I would've liked to have, Craig did his utmost best in searching the Toyota network. Instead, I was able to get my alternative colors, and now I just love my new car! In any case Craig "worked for me," and I would recommend Concord Toyota, and Craig to anyone!
Two times walking through looking at cars, price tags, different models, colors and not a soul came out to ask if I needed help. It wasn't 1 time but 2. Not my first negative experience there and so I went to Walnut Creek Toyota and got my new Camry!
Arvin was my service advisor,he explained what was needed and why and checked all my tires for tread depth. He was fast and professional.
It took longer than usual for servicing because half of the mechanics were at some sort of meeting so that made for a long wait.
Great Service. I took the vehicle in for a smog test. When I arrived they had all the parts needed for factory recall items that I was not even aware of. I was impressed.
I ended up leasing a 2020 Camry which I love. Great deal, helpful salesperson Lisa and efficient finance dept. Very smooth operation.
Service was fast and friendly, and while I didn't need to really be involved in anything for a simple 10k mile service, Dalton cared enough to point out that he immediately noticed rodent footprints under my hood, and advised a simple remedy of peppermint spray. I know they take great care of my car and actually value their customers.
Kunle Majowogbe was an amazing sales representative. From day 1, he was straight forward, friendly, and informative. He understood my situation and wanted to prevent both of us from wasting our time. He was not a pushy salesperson, instead, he was more than willingly to inform me and to provide me with information as I needed. Although, he was extremely busy, he made sure to check-in and to make sure I was informed of what was going on.

My brother-in-law, Jorge J., my sister, Consuelo, and I went to Concord Toyota about three weeks ago and met with James Bass (Jim), one of Internet specialists, to purchase a Corolla. Our experience with Jim was exceptional. He went through all the details, answered all our questions, and how Jorge could possibly get a loan. After a long struggle of selecting the car that Jorge wanted, from his pickle-mindedness to repeated driving tests, to its final approval, Jim was there for us. But of course, our Ioan specialist, Mr. Garcha, is unforgettable. He was the most entertaining, knowing how we tried to bargain the car, yet exceptionally demonstrated a pleasing, and an understanding loan manager that we have met. I don't take the time to do surveys or reviews often. I've been dealing with Concord Toyota since 2014. They're great to deal with. I service my car religiously and always like staying while my Prius is being serviced. Their waiting area is open, clean, and work space friendly including ability to charge phone. I say this sincerely, I always bring work to do and they're always done faster than they estimate. I kid them saying "you guys never give me enough time to finish my work." I've recommended Concord Toyota many times to friends and colleagues as I never feel like I'm been given a line of bull. You're in good hands with these people. Nice folks to do business with and always efficient!!!

Always takes awhile to get the service done. If they tell you 3.5hrs, expect an extra hour delay. On a prior occasion the car had not been started after 3hrs into its scheduled appointment. Toyota needs to invest on more manpower. On the plus side, there are employees at this dealership with exceptional customer service.
I have been brining my car to Concord since 2013 and have always had good experiences. This recent service was a bit of a mixed feelings for me. I had called to arrange the appointment and was told one price and promised I will get shuttle services to/from work. I had explained my work has recently moved and is no longer in the shuttle range. When I get to the shop, I was surprised that the price is a few hundreds more than originally quoted because there are different type of services and they recommend the highest tier of course. Then I was told by the cashier that they do not provide shuttle to my destination. While I was about to call my boss to take the day off, my advisor spoke with the manager and came back to let me know that I will get the shuttle service. I appreciate that they were able to honor their promise eventually but I was also told it was a one time exception so I suppose I will not be able to use their services any longer.

Mr. Rolando provided us with great help to our purchase of the Privus V. It was very pleasant experience with no more than 2 hours at the dealer shop from entering the store. And that is including the time to bargain with Mr. Rolando, my wife's speciality. This sure worth our drive all the way from south bay to Concord. I highly recommend Mr. Rolando to any other future customers.

Scheduled a free maintenance thought it was for oil change. The sticker on my windshield said time to change the oil. Went in EARLY Saturday morning and was told I was using synthetic oil and I had another 4k to go before they would change the oil. Thanks for nothing guys.

I wouldn't have even came but salesperson named Eva Lied to me over the phone to bring me in, and they didnt have the truck I wanted. I drove from Sacramento to check it out and was assured over the phone that it was the truck that I wanted, only to come and have the script switched on me. Classic bait and switch. I felt safe during write up & pick up during this covid19 time. All employees had masks on & kept distancing best as possible. Cashier & parts counters had plastic shields for covid19. Had cleaned ball point pins. That was all good.
They used seat covers, wiped down surfaces before & after.
Jonathan Ramirez was my service advisor. Easy to work with. Explained work & costs. Cost was to estimate. Work was done perfectly. No spilled oil on motor or anything. Oil level perfect. I had brake fluid change done also. Technician did great job. Put all bleeder caps back on & cleaned off residual brake fluid on calipers & backing plates.
Car was washed, vacuumed & sanitized after repairs
I was most pleased with the service. No nonsense, needless up sells or anything like that.

I had salesman Rob (young guy from Martinez - this is for identification purposes). Everything started out great. He showed the Rav4, Camry, Highlander. Then he asked my timeline for buying.
I said about a month.
When he figured out he wasn't getting a sale today, his attitude became very abrasive. "Well, in a month all the 2016s will be gone and the rebate on a 2017 is 1000 not 2500 dollars." His speech became very fast, and I interpreted it as, "Let me get away from this guy. I'm not making a sale to him today."
Watch out for stereotypical car salesmen at Toyota-Scion of Concord!

For a dealership, VERY reasonable pricing!!! My last car was a VW, and I don't think I ever had a service appointment on my previous VW for less than $300. I have had minor issues fixed at Concord Toyota for less than $100! The one downside was that I left phone messages with their Service Dept. for someone to give me an estimate for a Corolla brake job. No one ever called back. So I took my car in. They wouldn't or didn't want to do a brake job until the brake shoe thickness got to their "red" stage! Reassuring that they don't want to do unnecessary work. And yes, they did have donuts two mornings that I was there! Overall a 4+ rating.
Had a problem with my sunroof on my Camry. Although the warranty passed by a few months they still covered it. Marty called me when the part came in and set up an appointment. Tony made sure to let service know that I was waiting for the car while enjoining their free breakfast. Unlike ATT Concord Toyota has great customer service.
The service and care was outstanding. The African American service manager took extra care so that my car was not damaged. He also was extremely nice and attentive. When the agency has techs to service my Mirai, I will bring it back for service. This time they were fixing the tire of my Mirai. The agency is very clean and safe. The location is very convenient too.

I purchased my car at another dealership, and needed work done on it to fix the sunroof. I was sent by the other dealership to Concord Toyota to have the repairs done, but they would not release my car so warranty would cover it. Jason at Concord Toyota really helped me out by getting my car released and ordering the parts. It was a frustrating experience, but he was adamant and got it all sorted out. Thank you Jason! At my last service appointment I was told that my car will be getting doors replacement as part of the recall. I was told the doors are being ordered (on thebday of my service) and I will get a call to set up an appointment. I never received the call. 3 weeks later I called and set up an appointment. When confirming a day before, I specifically asked how long it is going to take, because I had to pick my child up from school. I was told 3-4 hours. About 2 hours into my van getting done, I called to confirm it was going to be done fairly soon, but was told NO WAY! I was told that these recalls take a full, 8 hour day! Of course, I was upset, but after making a few calls arranged for someone else pick up my child. Literally, 20 minutes later I received a call that my van was done! I was furious! When I came in to pick up my van, no one could tell me who was the lady I spoke to on the phone that gave me an incorrect information...The next day I have noticed that the rubber that seals the window to the door is teared off. I called Concord Toyota twice and was put on hold indefinitely, but to no avail. No one called me back and it needs to be repaired.
Used to love this service center, but pretty horrible nowadays. I bought My 2006 Tacoma new from here a few years ago and took it here for every service and had no issues. Recently the customer service has been garbage. I have no problem with the quality of work as that is always A+. But the service people I have had to deal with when I bring my Truck in are incredibly rude, and the last time was the last straw, never gonna bring my Truck for service here again. UPDATE: Toyota called me after my review, the new service manager Cathyrine took care of me, truck runs great. The service was very good and the work done on the truck was great as well.
My wife and I drove from Lake County to purchase a car here and the experience was wonderful. The staff is extremely helpful, there is no pressure whatsoever. I cannot recommend this dealership too highly. If you want a Toyota this is the place to go. On, and an added bonus was the finance guy was an actual Olympic athlete at the Athens games. How cool is that?
I bring in my Sienna regularly for auto-butler and I set aside a whole day for it. On the previous appointment, I got back the van with a few stain spots still very obvious, and had to show personally to the details people, furthermore, one of the button caps on the leather seats was missing, which I, personally had to obtain myself from the installer. This time I got back my van with a broken lighter cap. none of these issues are ever reported, I had to find out myself. No more prepaid auto-butler for me from now on..
Something changed with this dealership in the last month. I arrived at 1:40 for my scheduled appointment that was set for 2:20. Did the whole check in process, which had changed. The guy couldn t find my name and had me open emails and texts that came from the dealership. When I showed him he finally found my name. Don t understand that one. After that went in to the building to inquire on getting the extended service plan. I stood there and waited for the staff to finish their gathering and discussing the pizzas they had ordered. Finally one nice guy asked in he could help me and bought me to the finance guy that sells the extended service thing. While I am talking with him I get paged to the service area. So I walk over to the service area. Keep in mind i was early and it s not even 2:20 yet. This is where it gets even more weird. The service advisor tells me that I was an hour early and now needs my car till 6pm. All in one sentence, I don t get how me being early had upset him. Me thinking he might have the wrong person say, what? He replies with we are busy with COVID you know. I say I can t wait for 4.5 hours for an oil change. So I go to reschedule my appointment. While waiting patiently to do that with the super sweet lady that does the appointments. I was cut in front of my yet another employee for him to get his stuff done. That was when the pizza arrived and they all disappeared including the finance guy. That is when I learned two lessons. Concord Toyota likes pizza parties more than customer service and there is a way better Toyota dealership about 5 miles away that likes to do work rather than eat pizza.
Ihad received a recommendation from a mechanic at Toyota Concord to have a replacement O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 installed due to the check engine light coming on and off and so that my car will pass the smog test. I called and had the part ordered with the service department as recommended on my quote invoice. The reason I contacted the parts department myself is because the service department apparently does not want to communicate orders to the service department, they prefer the customer do it. In addition, the parts department did not pick up their phone and I left a message. They did not call back until I called the service department back several times to let them know that I could not get in touch with them.
I scheduled an appointment to have the sensor installed as well as have a courtesy check, check the tires, check the squealing noise the car is making and have an oil change and a free car wash. We waited 2 and a half hours to find out that the wrong part was recommended and ordered and we would have to come back for another at least 2 1/2 hour appointment. What was more frustrating was that the mechanic did not go through the courtesy check list and did not have me ride with him to confirm the squealing noise and the car did not get washed. More could have been done for this 2/1/2 hour wait especially since the recommended part could not be installed. I feel as if all they did was change the oil and that my time is not important. I have scheduled another appointment 7/13/2019 to have the correct sensor installed as well as check the items that I had already requested to be checked at the previous appointment on 6/29/2019. I have yet to get a phone call to confirm that the correct part has arrived this time an the car squealing noise persists. The service advisor did a decent job and I don't think it is his fault that this chain of events happened.

Mark Richardson, the reason I would give five stars. The dealership cost to fix my transmission, the only reason I took a star away. Thank you Mark, as always, for your commitment to great service and never being pushy trying to sell what I don't need. Dealerships need more service reps like you, the only reason I still bring my car there after almost 7 years (for once, will have to shop around. But will be back.) And dealerships, do a better job of competing with the mom n pops shops out there. After all, these are your vehicles! You should have the easiest time fixing them. You aren't helping your service reps.
Mark helped me out, I had missed my appointment by a few minutes and he was super understanding. He provided excellent customer service by hooking me up with service deals that I really needed. I look forward to returning to get a new toyota from this lot as they are very professional.

This is not the best dealership for servicing your car. I can't comment on their sales people but their servicing management is horrible at best. The sour taste is entirely from their process of accepting drop offs of cars. When the average wait time to just drop off your car is 20-30 minutes consistently, there is something wrong with the picture. I have been to the dealership many times to drop off my car for the day, and it's always crazy that they make you sit in your car in a line to just to get someone to process you. From my experience, they assign cars to different agents, but one agent will go out of their way to NOT assist customers assigned to another agent. They'd rather hang out and talk to each other than to help all the customers waiting in their cars. Reason I kept going back was because I had prepaid maintenance service. I'm done with the prepaid plan so no longer have to deal with the dealership anymore.
October 2019 update: Gerald assisted me on my latest scheduled service and he also was courteous and informative as Jonathan was previously. He was clear about what the service entailed and reviewed all the fluid and part statuses. Thanks again!

Concord Toyota provides great service. I had take my Pruis to Antioch Toyota for months and they were not willing to make repairs since my warranty had already expired but I reported the problem on several occasions way before the warranty expited. I took my car to Concord and they took car of the problem immediately.
My experience with this place was not very nice, the van I bought and about a month later now needs a new battery, brakes and some work ! Don't buy from them , my van was very dirty and I had to pay 300 dollars to have it detailed, my salesperson was very nice and friendly ( nicole) as well as the person in finance, he was very cool guy.
And as you can see below the " owner " only responds to 5 star reviews and that should say a lot

I traveled from Stockton to look at the vehicle. This was a challenge, since I had no car. So bus to BART and then to Concord where Lisa picked me up. Took it for a test drive and decided to buy it. It had very low mileage and was in good condition for a 6 year old car. After a couple days a undiscovered problem popped up which the Stockton Kia dealer was able to correct in about an hour. Lisa had a check for the repair to me in 2 days. I have been driving it for about 3 months now and am very pleased with the car and the customer service I received for Lisa.
I want to give them -5 stars. Not very happy with this dealer. Waited almost 20 minutes for someone to help me, I had to go inside and find someone. Agent explained to would not even go down $500 dollars on a vehicle because the prices are set from the east coast. How is east coast going to price the bay area. Here is a good example, 2013 4Runner in sales for $29k, I offered $25.5 they refused said never, not even going down $5 even. I checked the vehicle after 2 months and still on their lot at the price of 24k now. This dealer sucks.

I have had Toyota's bought from and serviced at Concord Toyota for over 30 years. I have always had great service. Derrick is my "guy". He always helps me with any problems I have had! Most recently I had an air conditioner problem which was repaired for free because "we should have done it correctly last year"!
The car salesman Hakeem was very patient with us and dedicated to helping us with everything we needed since we were first time new car buyers. They answered all of our questions and the manager came over to make sure we were doing ok. The only issue we had was with the car detail they provide after we bought the car. We live in Vallejo and we bought the Toyota Camry at night (the detail place was closed) so we were able to schedule a time to get our free detail a few days later, especially since the car was pretty dusty. I asked if we could go to Vallejo Toyota but our Salesman told us to come there and he would take care of us. It was raining when we got there. 20 minutes later he brought us our car. There was still a bunch of leaves around the tire area and mud on the car. I pointed it out and he said he "drove through a puddle". We got in the car and realized they didn't even clean it. The only thing they did was vacuum some leaves by the gas pedal. The dash was still dusty and there was the same smear of make up on the glove box. So basically, we drove from Vallejo to concord to have someone fake clean our car. It was really annoying and shady. Don't fake clean it and then lie. We could have stayed in Vallejo and actually paid to have it cleaned correctly instead of paying bridge toll and gas for no reason. We spent 24,000 and couldn't even get them to wipe the dash off. Shady. i would have respected it more if they just told us that we couldn't get a free detail anymore. I was really excited to get our new car waxed and shiny on the inside. Oh well.
We have purchase four cars from Concord Toyota. The Service has been outstanding! The sales department has always been helpful and never pushy. Service and repairs when necessary have been thoroughly explained and completed in a timely manner. Next car will be from here too.
They always seem fair and don't usually try to rip you off from what I can tell, which is a little surprising for a dealership. Plus they have many amenities for waiting or a shuttle. Leasing my new car was a great experience. Amer helped me almost immediately when I parked at the dealership, and I felt like a valued customer the entire time I was there. When I have gone to other non-Toyota dealerships during my car search I have felt ignored and not taken seriously as a woman on my own, so it was very nice to be immediately helped. Amer was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in, and I felt like he understood what I wanted and needed in a new car.

I had an appointment with Craig. I went in excited to buy a new car... he was paged numerous times, but I was still waiting 45 minutes later. Ended up getting assisted by another rep. She said she would email me the cost. I had to reach out twice through email asking for follow up. I never got a response. Apparently they didnt want my business. Needless to say I bought from an entirely different brand dealership.
I originally came to Toyota looking for a used car, however I walked away with a brand new 2020 Corolla! It was definitely the last thing i expected and everyone who helped us were great and very patient. Before we even stepped inside the building we were greeted outside by Jose who shared us around the used and new vehicles. We stopped at the 2020 Corolla and after he told us the Memorial Weekend deal they were having it was too good to pass it up. After test driving it we were directed inside to go over our options. Not gonna lie waiting for the finance guy took a very long time, but it was expected due to the amount of people in that day. Overall, everyone who helped us were very nice, communicative, and helpful. Specifically Jose, Angel, and the other finance guy which I didnt catch the name of.
