Do not Buy a car from this dealership! They are all scammers. From the top down to the bottom they will scam you with hidden fees and warranty scams and then they all cover for each other and send you from one person to the next. They will not admit anything and management condones the scams because when I showed them proof they did nothing. Three months of hassle to finally get charges taken off and not one sorry. Trust me if you do business with them you will regret it. I would post zero stars but it will not allow it.

It was an awesome experience- from the time I walked in- the woman, Ms Carla,greeted me as soon as I stepped in the building- she was very nice and made me feel at home. The sales representative , Randy Sandefer was AWESOME- AND even the man, Daniel, that handled my paperwork was the sweetest thing ever- I give all of you folks a huge GOLD # 5!!! THANK YOU- of course we know the employees follow their leader- so I want him to know he has an awesome crew!!

Awful! Awful! Carlock botched my financing. Did not follow through with the payoff on my trade in a relevant amount of time which hurt my credit! They also withheld my contract from me. If you try to contact them by phone they pass you around the room and no clear and concise answer to your concern is ever delivered. They are highly unprofessional and lack the knowledge needed to satisfy a customer. They also love hidden fees and any thing else you might allow them to sneak in. Please think twice before purchasing from there. I know I will not make the same mistake again.

OMG! Give the Parts department the credit they deserve! Big shout out to Will for providing great customer service and being very kind over the phone. This was my first time buying car parts for my 2010 Rav4 and I was pretty anxious about the pricing, shipping, and delivery time, but Will ensured me that everything would come as promised. He even offered a great deal on shipping. Highly recommend them! (Will deserves a raise.) Big hello from the Pacific Northwest. Thank you!!!

I was shopping for a new car for at least a month before I decided to stop by Carlock. Everywhere I went the cars where no good and I was being shown the cars that was in my range and they all where no good. Richard Carr had been trying to get me down and I was hesitant because I was thinking that with my credit I wouldn t get anywhere. Oh was I wrong got me in a 2017 with good monthly payments. I wasn t there long either. I would recommend this place to everyone. First time car buyer? Head on down to Carlock Toyota and ask for Richard Carr!!! He is the man!!

From the time I drove up to the time I drove away my service was fantastic. I went to another Toyota dealership previously and they did not measure up to the service that Carlock gave. I will continue coming to Carlock to service my Toyota Carolla!

I'm from out of state and had some transmission issues on 22. Called in to ask what my options were- the work was to be covered by tuscaloosa toyota. Tupelo handled the situation like champs, lined me up with the fastest tow I've ever had, fixed the problem in 1 day, cleaned the whole car, and made sure tuscaloosa had a check in the mail for me. Honestly, just the most efficient and courteous service I could hope for, particularly awesome because of the bind I was in.

I was just starting on vacation when a semi s tire...

I was just starting on vacation when a semi s tire blew right in front of me and took out my driver side mirror. I planned on completing my trip so I needed the side view mirror replaced. I was coming up on Tupelo so I thought, I ll give it a shot. Friday afternoon 2:00 pm and I call for the parts dept. I explain my situation to Kevin in parts and he verified he has the part, contacts his service tech Billy and tells me to stop in. I pulled on the lot at 3:00 pm and thought, oh boy, this will take hours. To my surprise, Billy met me at the door, took my info and took my 4 Runner straight in. They sat my wife, two dogs, and I in the waiting room and got us drinks and checked on us every 10 minutes. After 30 minutes they were done and had me on the road! I m a fan of Billy, Kevin, and Carlock! Great job guys!

If I could give a --- rate, I certainly would. Don't waste your time!! Our salesperson was Chavez and he was great. We told him we wanted their best deal, no playing games. Well, we had to go through the process which including meeting the sales manager. This man was rude & gave our salesman a look that would kill because we refused his offer. Then going out AFTER he had given us his offer and we refused, made a snide comment that the car was not saleable. It was a 2015 Toyota Highlander. Really??? It's not saleable but you price it? So, we left, went to Metro Ford & closed a deal on 2017 Ford F150 & 2017 Ford Explorer. Dealt with Hollis & Chip and they were nothing but professional! Great job and thank you Metro Ford!!

I am from out of town and my Sienna van was acting up and also needed serviced. The people at carlock toyota took me in and were extremely nice and courteous and showed me where i could wait while my vehicle was being serviced. They kept me informed of an iasue that i brought up to them and they always kept checking back with me to let me know what was going on. When i need a new vehicle i just might have to make a trip to Mississippi just to buy a vehicle from them because my experience was so great

My wife and I bought a 2016 corolla and loved it. Five days after we bought, we had a head on collision. The car kept us safe and our insurance along with the gap insurance the Tupelo dealership talked us into it took care of most of it. We are now buying a 2017 corolla and couldn't be happier. The Tupelo dealership were very kind and so helpful!

Everyone in the service dept. at Carlock Toyota was very helpful. Even the Sales Consultants were helpful. Mr. Heath and the other gentleman that helped me with my car were patient, helpful, and really explained in detail what was going on with my car. If I'm ever in Tupelo and I need either one of my Toyotas serviced, I will definitely be going to Carlock Toyota!!!!

I was traveling over 300 miles to a wedding in Oxford MS from Tenneseee and as a female traveling alone your biggest fear is your car breaking down and it happen to me. Fortunately for me I was 5 miles from CarLock Toyota in Tupelo. It was about 4:00 so the end of their day. They were awesome. A young man named Blake in the service department was truly kind and Honest! They Knew I was nervous and he was very reassuring that they would help me figure it out. The bad news was there was a problem and not cheap, however, the good news was they could fix it. I was able to rent a loaner and make it to Oxford for the wedding. Blake was very helpful spoke with my husband and texted me what they had found wrong. I was able to check with my mechanic back in TN and was reassured that CarLock was right on the money about the cost of the problem and that it needed to be done. I Highly Recommend CarLock Toyota of Tupelo MS.

While moving from FL to visit family in NW Arkansa...

While moving from FL to visit family in NW Arkansas, we started to experience issues with our battery. Pulling in, it was determined that our alternator needed to be replaced. Our service advisor saw that we were moving and we had 18 month daughter with us. He immediately made our repairs a priority and got in and out in 3 hours so we could continue on our way.
Thank you for the great service, friendly staff excellent prices. The staff were all friendly, and even offered to let our daughter climb in one of the old jeeps that they had on display.

I had a vibration in my driveshaft on my tacoma. They said that there was an extended warranty on my model truck for that. I took my truck here and they told me it was my tires causing the vibration, so i got tires. There was still vibration so i took it to another shop, and sure enough my driveshaft was warped. Dont use this place for their service department.

Very disappointed in Carlock Toyota of Tupelo, MS. Patrick took a lot of time, trying to sell me a vehicle. I get it. You're a car salesman. I felt pressured into agreeing to by a new Rav4. Luckily, I came to my senses and 1) realized the "deal" was actually not that great before I did anything permanent, 2) realized I shouldn't buy a car based on feeling pressured by a car salesman. I did not go through with buying the car. Thank goodness. However, during the process of them trying to sell me the car, Patrick agreed that they would not be running my credit while we were throwing around numbers. He specifically agreed to not run my credit score. TOYOTA RAN A HARD INQUIRY ON MY CREDIT THREE TIMES. Three!! This has affected my credit score. And I didnt even buy the car. Thanks for offering me a terrible deal, and dropping my credit when I didnt even buy anything.

Really bad bad bad bad service I wish I could rate no stars they will go through your stuff make sure you get all you important documents, i was asked whats my name? I responded, you Want the owners name or my name he replied the owners so I gave it to him he wrote it down right in front of me and when they where done servicing the car! I see my full name and address and I'm not even the owner they went through my stuff that was in there his dumbass though I lied to him or something so anyhow I go back to the dealership and asked to speak to the manager and surprisingly all he had to say was we're sorry we will make sure this never happens again! Like we have 5 diff Toyota cars all from Memphis dealer ship "chuck Hutton toyota" best customer service and satisfaction, ONE THING FOR SURE THIS IS MY FIRST AND MY LAST TIME GOING TO CARLOCK TOYOTA OF TUPELO THEY SUCK ASS

We were stranded about 15 miles north of this deal...

We were stranded about 15 miles north of this dealership after a flat tire, with a very tight deadline to meet to sign depositions at court in Fayette, AL, about 1 1/2 hrs away. I was traveling with 2 dogs on a cold rainy day...but the staff here could not have been more wonderful! They got us in and out with a new tire, and also balanced it. They were extremely gracious to both me and the dogs! I will remember this particular dealership most fondly, and am extremely appreciative of their courtesy and kindness!!! Billy and Cory were especially helpful, but everyone we encountered was very pleasant and welcoming. Made what could have been a terrible day turn around completely! Thanks to everybody at Carlock Toyota in Tupelo, Ms!!!! You surely did make a difference to us!

This was by far the worst experience i have ever h...

This was by far the worst experience i have ever had at a dealership. I took my Toyota 4Runner in to have a recall on the airbag fixed. When I called to schedule the appointment, Brandon answered and told me to bring it in at 9:00 the next morning and ask for him when I arrived. Once I arrived their staff had no clue who I was and what was going on. 4 different members of the service department approached me all asking why I was there and I told them Brandon scheduled me an appointment for 9:00. Brandon was nowhere to be found. Each worker went to look for him with no luck. Finally they get me to come in and sign paperwork for my FREE rental car. As soon as pulled out with my rental car not even 5 miles down the road the Tire Pressure light came on. I stopped checked the tire pressure, and it was fine. So I continued. Waited all day for a call saying my vehicle was ready and never received one. So I call them at 5:45 and asked if my car was ready and when they closed. They said as long as I was there by 6:00 they could get my vehicles swapped. I arrived at 5:50 and was met at the front of the lot by a sales associate and was told that they had already left for the day and to just bring my rental back in the morning. I tried to explain that the tire light was on but the pressure was fine. He acted like it wasn t a big deal and Sent me on my way. On the way home I noticed that the car was pulling to the left pretty bad so I pulled over and noticed the tire was losing air pressure. We (husband and I) immediately stopped and put the spare tire on in the sleet and snow on the side of the highway. The next morning when I arrived to return the car, I was approached by Brandon who said he had never had a rental returned on a spare and went to go get someone to help. I explained to them that the tire pressure light came on not even 5 minutes after I left the lot. They preceded to tell me that I would have to pay to have to tire replaced because I signed a waiver saying I was responsible for all damage to the vehicle. He told me he would only make me pay for the new tire ($158 plus tax) not the mount. I was given the opportunity to talk to the manager and I did. He said he had no clue who the sales person was that told me to take the car and bring it back the next morning and made it clear that he wasn t interested in the fact that I was told by a sales associate to bring it back the next morning. They then directed me to the checkout and I was then told my total was $202. I m assuming the still made me pay for the mount of the tire. They rushed me through the whole process only to find out that they were supposed to check 2 recalls and they only checked and fixed one. I took my Toyota to then to fix a recall that was supposed to be free and left there spending over $200. I was very disappointed in the staff and the service. I will Never do business there again and will let anyone know who asks how my experience was.

Recently bought a brand new car. The power steering started messing up so they got a new part order. i was told on Friday it would be in on Monday or Tuesday, i called Thursday because no one had filled me in on what was going on. They said it would be in that next Saturday. well that meant i would be waiting even longer. Then now on Wednesday they called and said to bring it in today or it would be too busy so i took it up there. when i got there in my lunch break they said o do you have to go back to work we don't have a rental. why didn't they tell me that when they called. So i left and was told to bring it back at 8:30 in the morning and someone would take me to work, well they did but in my car with my gas. Then when they got it fixed they parked it with the key inside with one of the windows completely open...? its a key-less entry Camry it wont lock with the key in it....this is the second time that I've had the problem with them driving my car and them not filling the gas up i even had to put gas in the rental the first time they looked at my car for a day. needless to say i pissed. and ill still have to deal with the service department because i get free tire rotations and oil changes for a while.

This was our first time to purchase a new vehicle ...

This was our first time to purchase a new vehicle and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Mr. Chavez answered all of our questions and walked us through each step from test driving, reviews, and then getting financed. We went in to all this with not so great credit and Mr. Corey literally worked all day on getting us financed where we needed to be. Not to mention, we have two young kids (5 and 1) that were getting very restless during the buying process and the staff all helped to keep them happy and occupied. We did not make this easy for them at all they made my dream car come true! We will definitely be back!

YOU'RE BEING WARNED! Dont EVER deal w/ this dealership. They're the reason car salespeople get their reputations for being liars & cheats.
My Dad, (a senior citizen & a veteran) & his wife ( a retired educator, also a disabled senior citizen) went to this dealership to buy an anniversary gift for themselves - a Lexus.
Part of the reason they chose this dealership was because of what they PROMISED/VOWED to them ...
Let me explain.
My Dad & his wife really wanted for me to be able to buy their trade-in Toyota Avalon if I wanted it. CARLOCK TOYOTA promised they would give me first option on it,- at the trade in price they were given when they got the Lexus from them.
The Day they made that promise to my dad, he phoned me to tell me about the deal he had made. The next day, I phoned the dealership to begin discussing that option.
However, it was right in front of the Memorial day weekend, so I knew I couldn't do anything until the following week on Tuesday. Remember, my dad is a veteran?
That being said, I was in daily contact w/ the sales person Kelley, that my dad told me to talk to.
Sometimes, Kelley had to go talk to Cory to get my questions answered. Sometimes, they had to discuss it w/ the manager Brad, also.
You have to understand here, that my dad lives in Mississippi, and I live in Montana. There's a lot to discuss about a car that is sight unseen by me before I commit to buying it.
My point is, everyone in that dealership knew- ABSOLUTELY KNEW- that I was interested in that car. They promised me on the phone that it would all hold until the following week, because the car had even been processed yet. These were their very words.... IT HADN'T EVEN BEEN PROCESSED IN YET.
On Tuesday and Wednesday both, I called Kelley with very serious questions about the car that made it obvious I was leaning towards moving that way. By Thursday morning, when I phoned, I was ready to sign the papers and make a deal.
However, I was told at that time, that the car had been sold to someone else THE NIGHT BEFORE!When I called them out on it, they said Cory had been the one who sold it, and that he no longer worked there. Very suspicious words, in my opinion.
Now, I get making a buck. I am sure that the thought of selling it to someone for more than was promised to sell it to me for was appealing. I'm not against making a profit.
What I am against, is being lied to cheated on.
More than that - lying and cheating a veteran and a senior citizen.
They did not bother to call my dad or me to tell me they were having another offer made on the car by someone else.
They never once, made it clear that I needed to hurry up with my decision and make it sooner than Thursday. I was led to believe that the car was being held for me.
Not once, when I was on the phone with Kelley DAILY that week, did she mention that someone else had put in an offer. Nobody showed that courtesy to my dad or myself-in keeping with their original promise.
They simply sold it to someone else for a little bit more money.
I read the other reviews, and I wish my dad would've read them before dealing with them also. It appears , that they have a history of lying and cheating to their customers.
When I phoned and talked to Brad about this, though he sounded contrite on the phone, and claimed that he was sorry that this is happened, he would not answer any of my questions as to how this had happened.
He simply said Cory doesn't work here anymore, making it sound like Cory was let go, but that didn't make any sense....
Consider that they were saying he was the one who had sold this car supposedly, just the night before somehow, miraculously, without anybody else knowing it?

I was in the market to buy a new car. Went to Carlock Toyota in Tupelo, MS expecting great service. I was met with a new sales associate with a great attitude and a true want to help me find my car. I would give him a 10/10 on attitude and service; however, my paperwork was filled out incorrectly which caused the financing company to red flag my account. This led to 2-3 days trying to fix my account. He also did not give me my drive out form. After fixing that mess, I went to pick up my application for title, which had the incorrect name on it. This led to me being told we did not finish all of our paperwork and had to come back up to the lot the next day. Upon arriving, I was handled a new application for title which was corrected, and had NO paperwork to sign whatsoever. I am unsure if this is establishment is filled with untrained employees doing their best who make nothing but excuses for their mistakes or if they truly do not know what they are doing. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone, because the service was severely lacking. I will say one good thing, I love absolutely my car!

I tried to order some parts from this place but that did not work out too well. On July 7, 2020, I placed an order for 6 spark plugs and a spark plug wire set. The eta was July 13. July 13 came and the parts have not shipped. I checked the order status online and it showed Ready to Ship. I called the parts department somewhere around July 17 and they said it was going to ship the next day. Those parts have not shipped. I called back on July 27 but this time to cancel the order. They offered to overnight those parts to me the same day. I agreed because I needed those parts. They have not shipped those parts. On July 31, 2020, I called back a third time and this time to cancel the order. They offered the same thing as last time, but I said no. They canceled the order and I got my refund. I went to a local Toyota dealer, paid $30 more, and walked out with 6 spark plugs and a spark plug wire set the same day. I would rather pay a little more than waste my time ordering form this place. Stay safe and have a great day.

Terrible dealership, they have the sorriest, inconsiderate, and cheapest GM Jim Surrett. Staff is wonderful but management is horrible! I recommend anyone to go to Barnes and Crossing they have the best deals, plus they have top notch customer service. I am CONFIDENT that you will not be disappointed with them.
