Barnes Crossing Cheverloet Buick GMC Review

About 5 hrs into a 14 hr trip, and passing through MS we hit a block in the road during the wee dark hours of the morning. The front passenger wheel was badly busted. The spare being one of the little doughnuts we knew this wouldn't make the rest of the trip. Stopping in Tupelo to wait for places to open up to try to find help. We made several calls in Tupelo to no avail. We tried a call to New Albany Buick dealership. The nicest man answered from the parts department. He was unable to help us directly, however he had an idea. He took my info and in just minutes he called me back with a solution. He would make no money for this assistance. He connected us with a used wheel and we were soon back on our way. We appreciate this man's assistance. I'm sure he was very busy and he could have easily given us the brush off. But he didn't, his help was greatly appreciated and he's our hero.

I went to BC Chevrolet in New Albany hoping to purchase ANOTHER impala 2ltz from them. I spoke with a salesman over the phone prior from me driving 30 minutes to go look at it, I let him know time was of the essence and i could not wait to have a car delivered, i stated that if it was not on the lot i did not want it. I got there and he immediately wanted my SSN, I refused & he then tried to get it by saying he needed my payoff. I told him i would give him my payoff per diem & etc, and we would work numbers around that payoff like every other dealership does until i commit to buying then we can run credit, & they could call themselves. He went to his managers and they would not give me an appraisal on my impala and would not tell me the price of theirs. DO NOT GO TO NEW ALBANY! I recommend you to go to Hyundai Mazda and let another salesman work through them. I was hoping to be a repeat customer today but Blackmon Chevrolet did exactly what I wanted to do and I purchased my 2018 Chevrolet Impala Premier today. I must say, approval isn't every customers concern.

The staff there is very helpful. If they don't have the car in stock they can pull it from any of their other stores. They'll help you get anything you need and give you a good price.

I have been purchasing vehicles for over 20 years and Barnes Crossing Chevrolet Buick in New Albany is by far the worst dealership ever. I purchased a brand new 2017 GMC Sierra. I immediately noticed the TPMS light on so I took it back three times. I told them that my ride was really rough to be a new truck. They told me it rode rough because I drove it rough, now mind you Iess than 10000 miles on it at that time. They finally made a repair. But the ride didn't get any better. So I continued to take it back. I asked them to contact General Motors because there's no way a new truck should be riding like this and I told them that I wanted General Motors to replace my tires. They told me that the field rep for GM will only listen to the service manager recommendations and the service manager thinks it's the customer not the tires.
So here it is a 1 1/2 years later. I took my truck back to the service dept. and one of the techs took my wheel locks and when I noticed they were gone I complained I had to convince them that I was not lying about my wheel locks because I only let Barnes Crossing Chevrolet service my truck for all of my services. So instead of apologizing.... they just gave me my wheel locks back to me in my hand and I ask why didn't they put them on and the guy said " oh I didn't know you wanted me to do it.
Now this right here is the final straw... after leaving there I went to Firestone just to get a 2nd opinion about my tires. Firestone inspected the tires and told me that 2 of my tires are cut in the inside to the wire and it's a safety risk fo me to drive it. Now tell me why Barnes Crossing Chevrolet in New Albany Ms couldn't diagnose that??? I can tell you why.... because they dididn want to have to replace my tires because I had been complaining about the tires and the rough ride from the time I purchased the truck. If you want a GM I suggest you go to Carl Hogan Chevrolet in Columbus MS. I WILL NEVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM BARNES CROSSING CHEVROLET IN NEW ALBANY MS

I purchased a new/used vehicle from this location and at the time it was a great experience. The first 3 months I owned the vehicle the dealership had it more than I did. Things were wrong and they tried to fix it. Had to take it back several times for maintenance and never got it fixed any of the times they had it. The people at the dealership are very nice but the fact that they took advantage of me and my grandmother who helped me purchase it is very wrong and I will not purchase another vehicle at this location again. I will definitely look to another location and dealership for my next purchase.

On November 1 my husband and I were on our way to Memphis TN. 2 miles from Barnes Crossing Chevrolet, New Albany MS, my 2010 Corvette all of a sudden started running so rough I thought my front end was falling apart! We pulled into Barnes Crossing Chevrolet service department. Their mechanic, Dan Cobb evaluated the situation and determined that there was a broken spring in one of the intake valves. The parts department found the part needed in Memphis TN, but wouldn't be in to New Albany until the following morning, Saturday. Mr. Cobb, who is normally off on Saturday took time from his off day to come in and repair our car so we wouldn't be delayed any longer. We were extremely fortunate to have Dan Cobb working on our vehicle and we think Barnes Crossing Chevrolet is very fortunate to have such a great employee working for them!

The sales people do not try to help you at all.They are terrible. We went there last weekend to buy a car and couldn t get any information out of the sales people of what our payments would be or what our interest rates would be. There were just adamant that they wanted $3000 down. Just give us $3000 down and then we can tell you something. They are a joke. Don t waste your time going to this dealership and having to deal with people that think they are above you or that think you were born last night.

It was really great! Sonny Cook made sure I got something I liked, could afford, and something good and safe for our whole family. I wasn't even sure I was going to be able to get a car since my credit isn't the greatest, but he worked diligently to male sure I got one. I absolutely love my Hyundai Elantra! I will definitely choose Sonny again.

I rode along with the technician to accurately describe the problem I was experiencing while driving my vehicle. Additionally, I informed him that I would be leaving for a rode trip the upcoming weekend, to which they made all the necessary measures to quickly replace my transmission. We were experiencing car trouble while traveling and stopped at this dealership. They were extremely helpful and got our car in right away to be looked at. Dan, our service technician, kept us up to speed as we waited. They had our vehicle up and running and we were able to get back on the road the same day.
