We have purchased two vehicles in less than a year from here and have been pleased both times! We dealt with Mr. Eddie Johnson both times! He s the best and we think of him more as a friend than just a car sells man! So if you are looking for a vehicle, give our friend Mr. Eddie Johnson a visit he ll do you right! Carlock Toyota of Tupelo. Very nice and helpful people. Richard Flood was my sales person and he was great. He took the time to help with any questions. He took me to the other lot to see the other car I had been checking out online. I went with the Toyota RAV4 and I really like this vehicle and when I learn all the things it will do, I am sure I am going to love it. Friendliest and most customer motivated dealership I ve ever visited. They aren't in a big rush to sell you a vehicle and get you out the door. They honestly seem to care about what you think and they make sure you don t leave with unanswered questions. I would recommend them over any other.

My experience with this dealership was great! They had someone waiting when I pulled into the parking lot and they asked what I needed and directed me straight into the building. Someone came out and asked what I needed and they got right to work on it. They have a very nice waiting area with drinks and I also saw popcorn . I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needed work done on their vehicle.

I wish i could give 0 stars to this. bought 2 cars from them 2008 corolla and 2012 Camry in 2007 and 2011 respectively. The sales person was great then when you get into the finance room that is where the hidden fees apply. On the 08 Corolla there was a lusterize sealant package that cost some $300+ on vehicle delivery, i was handed a bottle of wax and instructions on how to apply!! These people give toyota dealership a bad name! BEWARE!

I purchased a 2020 Supra at Carlock Toyota. The purchase experience was very stress free. Mr. Flood was great to deal with as were the other people involved. I had a small issue with the car that was solved promptly by the service manager. I enjoyed dealing with them and the car is fantastic. I ve owned 13 Toyotas over the years and have not had any major issues with them.

I made an appointment with Ken for a test drive and fell even more in love with the Explorer. The buying process was simple and quick compared to some dealerships. They were all very helpful and I would definitely buy from them again!

As an employee I highly recommend you seek employment elsewhere. I have been selling here for four months and management still refuses to hand out commission slips. They also book trade ins in as rough trade whether they are or not in order to offset their auction loss (stealing from salesman), this was told to me by a member of management. They also allow employees such as Quincy Ward to bully, lie, and down right make it impossible to work there. I don't know why he is allowed to work there, I think he's their friend or they feel sorry for him. Needless to say I won't be returning and I highly recommend you don't either.

How do we start... THANK YOU!!!

We placed an order with this Toyota Dealership via the web. We bought the left and right sun visor and we selected next day shipping via FedEx. Items were shipped however, due to a computer glitch parts were sent second day instead of Next Business Day. Of course, we did what most of us would have done, we called their customer support and let me tell you, customer support was simply outstanding, phenomenal. We totally understand that issues with computers do come up because we have been working in the IT industry since 1998 so we suggested just getting a small refund. The gentleman @ Carlock Toyota of Tupelo gave a full refund on shipping. We were left speechless, we paused for a few seconds then offered to pay half the price, he said no: Sir, it was out mistake, we will take care of you. Wow, we @ A & R Computes, LLC are humbled by his action and we thought it would be nice to let the world know about it. We used to buy our Toyota parts @ Cavender Toyota, San Antonio TX, however from now on, Carlock Toyota of Tupelo will be our source for parts for out 2007 Tacoma Pre-Runner.

PS We had not had those sun visors for about 7 years We love them and here is a picture of our 2007 Tacoma Pre-Runner.

Took car in for and scheduled oil change and to have the car lighters checked. Was told it would take about an hour. After about 3 hours, car not ready.Tim was very helpful and professional. Ashley on the other hand was loud, aurgumentative, and very unprofessional. She may be better suited for back of the house and not interacting with customers.

Once a customer enters their private information, a generic Someone will contact you soon message appears. Why claim to display a price in exchange for personal information and then lie?
Carlock, if your dealership is making blatant lies on your website, what does that say about your in-person ethics and tactics?

I give Carlock Toyota in Tupelo MS. one star because I thought they were the best. Boy was i wrong. I took my car to them paid almost $2400 to get it fixed. Now they say I need to pay another $375. Since when does a tune up not include wires. I asked them to tell me everything I needed done on my car only to find out a few weeks later they didn't do what I asked. My car is still missing. Now the guy is saying they won't charge me labor wow are you serious I shouldn't have to pay for wires either. From now on I will definitely take my car somewhere else after they do my wires. I will gladly sue them if my car is still missing after the wires are done. I don t care about them being friendly. I want my car fixed correctly. We wanted to buy a truck a few months from now. But we will go anywhere but here. Get a second opinion they rip you off with these prices

When I arrived at Toyota I had no ideal that would be there about 5 hours. I was there to get an old change, brakes replaced and to check out what was going on with my engine. When they got through with my car and brought it back around to me. Let me tell you that it was a white car, it was clean on the outside but when they brought it back it had black grease all over the front and back side of my car. The young man Tim Turner who took my car in and made a record, new that it was wrong for them to leave oil on my car and tried to wipe it off, but smudge it more into the paint. I will never take my car up to Toyota of Tupelo Mississippi again.

Eddie Johnson!! Always a pleasure to do business with you sir! I bought a 2007 sierra from them this time. We worked out a great deal between Mr. Eddie the Finance Team, and myself. I left happy and confident that I had gotten a good deal. The service there for me has always been exceptional. My wife and I have purchase 2 vehicles there one being a new 4runner. The buying process was POSITIVE. I purchased a truck at a good price, and received a fair trade-in value as well. That's giving credit where it s due. The NEGATIVE came on the back end. They needed a title on my trade-in, a month after the deal, and treated me like an ex-con in the process even though I was cooperative. No tact whatsoever. I have no plans of ever doing business with them again, and I have no idea why anyone else would either.

Only one star because I had to use a star. I needed a part for my truck by Friday last week. So I could make it to work Monday. I ordered it with over night delivery so I could get the part ASAP. Wednesday morning almost 24 hours later I received an email saying the card was fraud and I needed to change the billing and shipping address to match. So I got it taken care of. Stressed that I needed the part by Friday. Even asked if it went through, so no more issues. Thursday evening I still haven t recurved an email saying the part was ordered and shipped. So I called again. The guy said that part just got there!!! ??? So I explained again. I had to have the part for work. He emphasized that I would get it Saturday. So as you know. Saturday and Sunday pass. Now it s Monday evening after work and still no part. So NEVER. I mean NEVER BUY FROM THESE CROOKED SOBs Even if it s beach front property in Tennessee.

I had service and an inspection (which included an alignment check) done at this location and two weeks later I had to get my two front tires replaced due to damage caused by my alignment being off. They then decided not to inform me that if I came in at the milage on the "next service suggested" sticker that they put on my windshield, that my service plan was going to be expired. I live 30 minutes away from Tupelo so it was an hour round trip, to basically be told "Oh sorry buddy you're flat out of luck." Needless to say I would not recommend getting service or vehicle inspections done at this location.

A big mistake to have bought a vehicle in this dealer, everything started well, but as soon as I signed the contract everything went down hill, the sales rep stopped working there (they say) and nobody took care of my papers, they just said , we sent your papers in the mail and so 1 month passed, after calling and calling many times finally someone answered and told me that they had not sent my papers for the registration of the vehicle (after 1 month) then finally sent them , But they sent them to a wrong city, i spent another 2 weeks calling and trying to found the papers , and when I spoke to them they were angry because they had already sent the papers (to a wrong city) I finally found the papers and tried to register my vehicle but the papers were not Signed in the right place, then I called them and they told me that everything was fine (false) and now they are 2 months without being able to get the license plate of my vehicle, it is not fair that once you sign the contract, They do not care anymore. This has been a nightmare, I will never go back to visit this dealer. Now I have to pay surcharges because it's already 2 months since I bought the vehicle and I could not get the license plate of my vehicle. I spoke to 4 different people at tupelo Toyota and all they do it's say , your papers are in the mail .

My experience at this dealership was horrible. Basically I committed to purchasing a vehicle, lined up financing and scheduled a time to pick up the vehicle and the sales person sold it from underneath me. Literally, I was waiting to sign the bill or sale and had the money wire set up. To top it off, he texted me to tell me this!! This really happened. I called the manager and general manager to complain and did not receive a call back. Really? Go somewhere else, anywhere. Hope all those visiting Toyota execs get a chance to read this about their dealership closest to the new plant.

Very unprofessional sales team and a rude manager. I was the first customer in the morning to start looking for a vehicle (the salesman opened its lock for me and no one else was there looking at it at that time). The price and trade value was finalized by me. But all of a sudden I come to know that the vehicle is already sold. I don't know why the manger finalized the price for a vehicle with me if he was selling it to someone else. The manager said a VERY RUDE sorry and I am very disappointed with his attitude and un-professionalism. I don't think Toyota wants a display of such an un-courteous behavior by their managers. I have no problem if you sell it to someone else but why you wasted my time if you don't want to sell it to me. The manager was called by the salesman to finalize the price and the manager knows that who he will sell the vehicle. They should not waste the time of their customers like this.

UPDATE: Later on I was called by their another manager Mr. K and he very politely offered me another similar used vehicle. This manager was very courteous and the same salesman Mr. Q, very patiently worked with me on this other sale. Finally they were able to make me change my mind and I bought this similar vehicle.

Managers are horrible and lied to me about them looking at my car. Wanted to charge me 1600 dollars for parts that didn't even need to be replaced. Made me wait 3 1/2 hours only to tell me they pulled a plastic lid off my transmission and only one person was in front of me. Never dealing with this company again. Lazy and poor quality.

I originally posted on September 6th; this is an update to my original post as can be viewed in the paragraph below. Chris (parts manager) contacted me the next day, and ernestly apologized for the shipping delay. He assured me he would overnight the part to me using FedEx, so as to guarantee delivery. I know sometimes things don't go as you expect, and in my world, a company and person are as good as their word. I recieved the part today as he said I would; Thanks Chris and Carlock Toyota.

After reading several reviews, I see I am not alone. I ordered a bumper guard from this company on August 21, they were very quick to process my payment. Fast forward to September 6, 2020, I still have not received the part, I have been told it is in route, and delayed with no announced delivery date. In the interim, I have received orders delivered by FedEx, and UPS. All of these items were ordered after I ordered the bumper guard. This dealership chose to use USPS, they should be using a carrier that can handle the volume they ship. Will not order from them again, and most certainly will not refer to my friends and acquaintances.

After talking me into singing up for a "scratch an...

After talking me into singing up for a "scratch and dent" service that was supposed to cost $20 a month for a total of $1,000, I discovered that the finance lady at Carlock snuck in a total of $5,790 worth of scam services. They did this without my knowledge or permission. It took me months of grief and red tape to get my money back, which I did finally get back today in the form of several different checks. They did not help in the process, and the only way I was ever able to get someone to call me was by emailing the corporate office. I would call, it would go to voicemail. I would email, they would ignore it. If I needed to talk to Carlock, the process was to call or email corporate, and they would then in turn make them call me. If I hadn't moved out of state, I would have been in there in person demanding answers. What Carlock did was no different than theft. They are the cliche scumbag car dealership that you hear about. Also, the 2015 Jeep they sold me had a dangerous transmission problem that would cause the vehicle to surge forward all on its own when slowing to a stop. Totally blew me off when I called them about this also. And although a minor detail, the super expensive $400 spare key was never given to me, although they kept promising to mail it. I'm glad that I traded that piece of crap in for a new RAV4, and I'm glad that Steven's Toyota in Harrisonburg Virginia were nothing like these trashbags at Carlock.

I have already posted a review and it is not on here. Here goes again. I came in because my check engine light was on. The charge for diagnostics test is 120 if you don't have an extended warranty. I had a lot wrong but only got one thing fixed. I had my thermostat replaced and they put a gallon of antifreeze in. I ended up paying 395.00 for a tbermostate,gallon of antifreeze and test. They take advantage of people. I am a 62 year old woman.

Do not go here. Never in my life have I been treated as if I were some peasant. The staff is horrible, they seem like criminals let out on a work release program. The place just feels sleazy and cheap. But I'm kinda glad they were so horrible, bc it lead my wife and I across the street to Carmax. Go there for the wonderful staff and much much cheaper prices. The Carlock expierence is the worst, do not go here.

Bobby is a great salesman, we did not have any issues with him. He made sure we were pleased and showed great customer service. Our issues arrived on the financial department. Initially, they would not run the credit and chose to give us quotes that would satisfy them. It was not until we demanded them after the 3rd quote to run the credit, that they actually ran it. At that point, they still gave us another quote a high APR. It was at that time we requested that they inform us of the credit score, they stated that it was excellent credit 740+ (which we knew). However, the APR still did not match the credit score. At this time we asked to speak with the financial personnel directly, once we did he reluctantly gave us an appropriate APR. We wish the experience beyond Bobby was not difficult.

I bought a Toyota Sienna from another dealership but it had one minor issue and a recall. Greg from Carlock made the process so easy. He loaned me a rental and kept my vehicle for one day.
