Went back to this place two weeks in a row. The first week they told me they wouldn t negotiate on price. Went home to find the price was lower online. Talked to another salesman named Terry the following week. He was too concerned with closing three sales at the same time to sit down with us and have an actual conversation. TWO HOURS went by when they came back and told us they weren t willing to work with us AT ALL. He then got to be very rude. I wasted two hours of my life waiting around for him to not be helped in the end and for him to get nasty with me about the situation. HORRIBLE customer service and a whole lot of greed. Didn t even get an apology for all the time we spent there waiting. I actually can t believe how we were treated and not only have you lost a sale, but we will never be returning.

The hardest working salesman in the business is Davon Williams. Davon was so patient with me. When I wanted to give up Davon kept pushing me and encouraging me to stay the course. Just when I thought all hope was lost He called me to say come get your new car. I left Capital Ford in a 2019 Ford Fusion. With all of my challenges, no way in my wildest dream I would be able to get what I have . Thank you Davon Williams for believing in me and working hard for me.

Very shady business practice! Read all documents carefully before signing! I saw one of their cars advertised on AutoTrader for a really good price. I called them and told them I wanted the car at that price and made an appointment to see them. They had the car out and I told them I wanted it at the price I saw on AutoTrader. I showed them the ad. The price on AutoTrader was $29,672 or $8,713 off list. They agreed to that price and started the process which took hours!. By the time I'm ready to sign I'm exhausted from waiting. I look it over and see on they put $8,850 on the rebate line. I didn't realize that this amount included my down payment of $5,000! They stiffed me $4,863! Plus they charge $99 for air in the tires, a total ripoff! They give you this song and dance about how they treat customers like family. Total BS! I should have left and came back. Plus after all the time waiting they didn't even prep the car right. It still had debris on the cowl from sitting outside for 6 months.

I went to Capital Ford because of a recall on a vehicle I had purchased there some time ago and Ron started telling me about the opportunities and benefits of trading up. I told him what I would expect for a new vehicle and he took me around looking at many vehicles until I saw the one with the features I wanted and the perfect color as well. The total process took approximately 90min from start to finish and he even filled the tank up for me. Great experience, will definitely consider Capital Ford and Ron for my next vehicle purchase.

We looked around many places for the car we wanted...

We looked around many places for the car we wanted.internet searched etc.
Capital Ford had the second car we were going to look at.
The first car was sold . We stopped by a few other places that were on the way , and found that the cars were misrepresented in the internet ads.
When we came to capital , we were greeted by Ron , and he made us feel at ease . No pushy sales technique , and showed us what we wanted.

I went to Capital Ford to diagnose and fix a problem that my Ford seller location didn't even attempt to diagnose when asked. My service adviser, Michael Young, was attentive and noted all the details of my problems and promptly worked to get my vehicle in and returned to me as soon as possible. I was kept up to date on the repairs with daily phone calls and my car was returned to me on the date promised. The issues have been resolved and my car runs like it is brand new again. I haven't been too thrilled with this purchase due to all the issues I've had with it, but now I know where I can take it to ensure my concerns are heard and my issues addressed.

My service van has been a 2002 Ford Econoline E250 van (with 413,000 miles)

It still runs perfectly, but I have had no air conditioning for a few years and as the business has grown, my need to carry more inventory, tools has increased as well.

I knew I had to upgrade, update my service van. I knew I wanted a high roof van, now to research and find the best one to buy.

I looked at the Mercedes Sprinter, Nissan NV cargo, Dodge Promaster and of course the Ford Transit 250.

The Mercedes was ruled out because of the cost and expense and availability of quick, efficient service.

The Nissan was a viable option, but ultimately ruled out because of space and limited configurations.

The Dodge Promaster was ruled out because of concerns about cabin, seat, driving comfort.

I really researched all of these and the Ford Transit 250 came out ahead in every category.

Now that I decided on which van was best, I had to find one with the features that I wanted.

This began a long process of nightly internet searches, looking all across the United States.

I emailed, called and spoke with many dealers and wholesalers from all corners of the country.

Many were not professional, or misrepresented the facts and condition of the vehicle. I was getting very frustrated with the process. Each day I would get back into my extremely hot, hot van for another 10-12-14 hour day.

Then I found the exact model I wanted.
Ford Transit 250, high roof, long wheelbase, extended.

It had all the options I wanted... 3.7L V6, cruise control, rear view camera, etc.

Now, to call the dealer.. Capital Ford in Raleigh NC.
I called and spoke with H.D.Griffin.
He was courteous, professional and took the time to answer every question I had.

I told him about my situation, my long, frustrating search and my quest for honesty, integrity throughout the process of the sale.

He said that I had come to the right dealer and he was the right man to meet all my needs.

I told him that he would have to drive this van himself and report back to me that "it was perfect", "flawless", and that he would "sell it to his wife or daughter" without hesitation.

He said no problem, immediately took it for a drive. He called during the drive and gave me a complete description of his driving experience.

He completely understood how scary it can be to buy a vehicle in another state.

He personally oversaw every aspect of the buying process, including having the van delivered to me in Tennessee.

I had high expectations of my new van. I had spent endless hours researching, so I knew the facts and figures.

I was still blown away when it was delivered.
I immediately had a safe job in Kentucky.
I got behind the wheel and off I went...

It's such a joy to drive. Quiet, smooth, comfortable.

I could not believe the experience. It is like driving a new Ford car. It's that easy and comfortable to drive.

The technology, the design, the rear view camera, great.
Having cruise control is wonderful and feeling the air conditioner blow that cold breeze is awesome.

The space is amazing, being able to stand up... straight and tall and walk around in my van is fantastic.

Now I just have to pick out the proper cabinets and shelving, so I can use it everyday to meet the needs of my customers.

To sum it up

Great buying experience. Horrible service after the sale. Had a few issues with our new F150 Truck purchase. When my daughter carried her vehicle back to Capital after the sale she was greeted with disrespect and was given the run around. Made several 150 mile round trips for minor service only to be met with gross disrespect each time. This was our first purchase at Capital and will be the last. Great at taking your money during the sale but don't expect service afterwards. Would not recommend Capital Ford to anyone, unless you don't care about service after the sale. Very disappointing experience.

DISHONEST is how I would describe this dealership ...

DISHONEST is how I would describe this dealership s service department. I brought my 2006 Ford F-150 in because it was making a whining noise on acceleration. I was told by James Challacombe that it was caused by a bad torque converter which was coming apart distributing metal throughout the transmission. As a result he said the vehicle needs a new transmission which will cost $4700. I declined the repair and took it to a transmission repair shop that has been in business for 46 years (Teds) They looked and listened and said the noise was coming from the front of the engine, not the transmission or torque converter and was most likely a bad pulley. They recommended Westgate repair and Westgate diagnosed the problem as the pulleys which cost $500 total parts and labor. I feel this is an egregious lie by Capital Ford in order to rip me off. Some people might have fallen for it. So that s why I m leaving this review. I also tried to call them several times so they can explain how this happened and no one picks up the phone.

I bought a 2013 Chevrolet 2500 from these people for a great price and with great service until it came time to pay, I lived in another state and they insisted that I would go home with the truck. then wait for the check at my home, and drive all the way back to them to give them said check. I wanted to mail the check to them, however that wasn t even the real issue. When I returned to the dealership for the second time I arrived with my check in hand and we finalized the transaction. The manager was kind enough to offer me some fuel for my journey to witch I accepted, a worker took my truck to the gas station and when he returned my drivers seat would no longer adjust and my heated and cooled seats would not work as well . I told them about this and they denied responsibility but had service come out to look at it and see what happened, they could not figure it out and after capital ford not accepting responsibility I chose to leave and head home. When I got home and called to see if they would take care of their own fault they denied my calls so I took it to my own local mechanic who found it was $1,400 in damage, caused by someone
(the worker)adjusting the seat all the way back and crushing the connections! what a great trade off, 4 Hours of my time and $1,400 in damage for $20 dollars of fuel. Thank you capital ford

Unbelievably horrible experience on an attempted purchase of a Jeep. This review is in reference to how the dealer treated us and not Brett Dippolito or Doug Creech. Those two were great!! Brett had worked a solid week finding us a Jeep for purchase. Spent many hours calling on phone and texting to find the right Jeep. We even went out of our way to use Brett because of our prior dealings with him. A Jeep was found and brought to this dealer from another for purchase by us. My wife called and spoke with Doug C. and we informed him that we would be there to sign paperwork and complete the transaction. When we arrived the vehicle had been sold from the time we talked with Doug C. to the time we arrived. Could not believe a dealer would do this to a returning customer. I had bought two trucks from them in one day. Apparently the managers right hand man sold the vehicle without anyone's knowledge. By the way right hand man...Nice pants!!( 70's Plaid look). Guy looked like he was dressing from a 70's Burt Reynold movie. It was the only humorous part of the experience. We have traveled hundreds of miles to complete the deal and this is how they treated a returning customer. On top of that the sales manager was attempting damage control and made it worse. The plaid pant assistant manger never apologized and basically ignored us. I would have purchased other cars in the future from them but after the treatment we received I will never darken their doors. Worst dealer in the Triangle. This was horrible dealer treatment and no fault of Brett Dippolito or Doug Creech....Both guys treated us well and were victim to unscrupulous dealer practices. Use caution and stay away!!!

I have decided that after being a lifelong Ford man that I will no longer purchase any more ford trucks. This 2015 Expedition EL is the sorriest vehicle I have ever purchased and I will no longer buy a Ford.

Absolutely terrible experience. Would not recommend at all. Appointment was made for 8 AM on a Friday, promptly dropped off the vehicle for the set appointment time. Made a phone call same day at 5 PM to check on the status of the vehicle and they said they had never gotten to it and couldn t until Tuesday of next week. Why let a customer s vehicle sit in your lot with no intentions of honoring appointment? Very dissatisfied.

I generally dislike the whole car buying process. From pulling up on the lot and being swarmed buy sales staff, to having to deal with the negotiating process. I'd have say in working with Justin this was my most pleasant car buying experience ever. He went out of his way to make sure we got the right vehicle for our family. Very low pressure and a very nice and personable guy. I'd highly recommend if you are looking for a car here then ask for Justin by name.

My sister recommended I try a gentleman she used (John Blackwell) to purchase a car after the transmission went out in my old one. I was very nervous, but John held my hand through the entire process. He has become a good friend and the first person I call when I have a car related question. His customer service in amazing! I recommended him to my other sister when she was having trouble with her car. At this point he has sold my baby sister a car, has helped in the purchase of my last two and will probably help my older sister with her next vehicle purchase. He's a great guy and really tries to be helpful.

I bought the 2013 Ford Fiesta in 2013, have had it in for service numerous times for the clutch/transmission, have often had to wait a month or so for the "new, improved" part, and call back to follow up for service. They offered to initiate contact with the Regional Ofc for me, that never happened. I did it, they acknowledged it is a lemon, said they would buy it back from me... THREE MONTHS AGO. I have been making repeated calls. The car sputters and jerks, doesn't ride smoothly, has been dangerous to drive at times, gets less mpg, and I have wasted so much time on this. I also need new tires, which I didn't want to have to purchase before turning the car back into them, but may have to since I've tried to contact everyone I can and am still waiting for an answer. The service people seem nice, but that hasn't gotten the problem taken care of!

I have had a problem with my car since it started ...

I have had a problem with my car since it started at around 30,000 miles. I have a 2015 Ford Focus titanium and the clutch assembly had to be replaced because of the "jerking" and "jumping" it was doing as I accelerated on the gas pedal when pulling out. This problem was well known to ford and I even had letters mailed to me about it being a problem that they were aware of. The problem was fixed finally and it's been fine until about 3 months ago when I hit 63,000 miles on it. I took it back to the capital ford service center and they said "well there is a definitely a problem of it doing the same as before, but we can't fix it because it's not under warranty." I've called ford and complained, even have a case number for the manager to review and I still haven't gotten a call back regarding the problem!! This service center has been nothing but disrespectful not wanting to fix a part that has been known to ford since the day I got it!! I am a dad with kids and if this car causes me to get hit by another car when I can't pull out properly in time then they're really gonna have a case against them! Congrats capital ford for having horrible service and not taking safety seriously when it comes to taking care of your customers!!

Started the process over the net and told my sales person I needed it to be quick and painless because we had just lost everything (home, belongings, and car)during hurricane Florence and we d be driving 2 hours one way to do the deal. Started out exactly the way we wanted it to be but that lasted about as long as it took the detail shop to detail our new truck. The truck came out absolutely filthy so they sent it back mind you we had been there for 3 hours now. When the truck came back out after an hour it was even worse than when it went back. Obviously the detail shop has something against using water during the detail process because obviously they had tried wiping the dirt off with an obviously dry rag because they managed to scratch the clear coat from top to bottom. The owner and sales manager came out and agreed that was completely unacceptable and they would try and find another truck identical to our purchase. So they found one that was similar but was a different color and sent the sales rep to a car wash to clean the truck. Finally After 2 more hours we finally signed the new paper work and brought home our new truck which I will have to detail in the morning because the inside and outside is still dirty. All total we spent more than 6 hours on a process that should have and could have been done in 2 or less.

I purchased a new 2019 Fiesta ST on March 15th. My sales person was Raymond G. Raymond was knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to deal with. Definitely one of my better car buying experiences. I do not recall the Sales Managers name or the Finance Managers name but they were also pleasant to deal with. All were very professional and helpful. The one area that could have been better was the vehicle prep for delivery. All in all a great car buying experience! Thank you Capital Ford.

He explains everything really well he didnt make me feel like he was pushing me to make a choice gave me some really good sound advice . even though my first choice wasnt the better option i can say i am excited about my new car and greatful for a great salesman . Most times as women we sometimes feel intimidated because some times we get preyed on at dealerships because they feel like we dont no any better I didnt feel that way at all . Overall it was a good experience with sales rep Kels. He was very kind and patience individual, looking to assist wherever he could to please. Sales/financial rep Emeka was exceptional in his assistance as well with suggestions and options. Sales manager Andrew had the patience of a saint and the persona of a well-rounded professional.
