They treated us very well. Mr. Stem worked hard to find something that would work for us and even let us take a vehicle for the weekend. A great experience after going to other dealerships and being ignored or asked to wait for 45 minutes.

Where I bought my used Kia Optima Hybrid. The only complaint I have was unbeknownst to me was that they held the DMV paperwork for 4 weeks resulting in my not being able to drive for Uber because I did not have my registration card as proof to Uber that the car was in my name. Plus, I did not know, that as an option, I could pay sales tax at the signing to get new tags as well as a temporary registration card to start working for Uber the next day.

Spoke with Stuart in the service repair. My 2014 Ford Fiesta with 47,000 miles was towed here because this is where I purchased the car here 08/2017. Stuart calls me to tell me the battery is not working, and I will need to buy a battery from here for $185.00. He then says once I purchase the battery from him, I can then be charged another $185.00 to tell me what the problem is with the car. He can not tell me the problem with the car but says it will not be covered under the warranty. This has the feeling of the will make $400.00 off me before even letting us know that the problem is, especially since we have only had the car for just at one year. I do not think I will ever take a car her for a repair again 09/01/18. I did buy the car here and the salesman was more than helpful with the purchase.

Update: The shop is charging me $167.00 to not tell me what the issue is. 100% bad service. Feels designed to get money not fix the issue, or create repeat business. BEWARE

Scheduling the service was very easy and I really like the email reminders about my appointment. My service advisor, I can't recall his name, was very friendly and helpful. I like the free wifi and snacks that are available, as it allowed me to get work done while waiting for my car. I also appreciated the voicemail the service manager left thanking me for taking my car in. Overall, a great experience!

The management and salespeople are horrible, stay clear. I was interested in an $84k truck and could not get anyone to reply to emails and phone calls. Even truecar which is supposed to work to give you the best deal, they don't honor that. Ford is getting ready to cut 1,400 salaried white collar jobs- take notice Capital Ford, this means YOU! You don't want to update your website, like to play games, don't want to respond to customers. I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. And to Capital Ford management and sales people too lazy to work, Karma is coming.

I have been using Capital Ford for the servicing of my Ford vehicles since 1998 and I have been satisfied with their services ever since. The waiting room/area is clean and they do offer free snacks and drinks. They also give you heads up on what the repairs are going to cost and will ask for your approval first. If you get a better price on purchasing tires somewhere else they will price match to get your business.

I used to love Capital Ford. My parents owned a Ford Explorer when I was younger and they replaced that with a Ford Expedition which eventually became mine. When the Expedition finally was finally on its last leg, I purchased a Certified Pre-owned 2013 Escape. I have had a lot of issues with the car that I won't get into here. My disenchantment with Capital Ford, and FORD in general, is the new pricing for oil changes. The basic oil change ( Change oil and filter) is around $45. The next tier where they change oil and filter along with tire rotation and air pressure check is $75 but becomes $90 after taxes and service. The top tier is around $135 and there is no way that I will ever pay that. The final straw was this past Saturday after my two year old battery started to fail and they are literally the only place to take it to for replacement. It cost me $238 to replace a BATTERY. For anyone who doesn't know, the battery in the Escape (at least the 2013) is behind the air filter housing, so all of that stuff has to be removed to replace the battery. Places such as AutoZone, Advance Auto, and Batteries Plus cannot replace the battery because of where it is located under the hood. I am currently looking for a new mechanic for my car and my next automotive purchase will not be from FORD.
ADDENDUM: A few days after posting my review, I was contacted by someone from the Capital Automotive Group. We ended up having a conversation about my grievances, mostly being about the product and prices; not the service from the mechanics. I will give them credit for the work that they do and taking the time to make sure that the job is done correctly.

I went to Capital Ford because there was No Pressure to buy or haggle with the price. I test drove the F150 I was interested in and my sales person was very Knowledgeable about the product and I bought my Truck. I have been a Ford owner 30 years. My wife wants to purchase a new explorer we go to Capital Ford for the purchase. My Daughter is also looking to purchase one in the near future. Capital Ford is a dealership that is Customer friendly and very professional.

This is truly the worst experience of buying a car...

This is truly the worst experience of buying a car for me -- ever. I bought a 2017 Acura RDX and paid $34,000 CASH on January 9th. It is April 5th and I still have not received the title to the car. I have had to call this dealership every week since February to get the license plate or the registration. I was told initially this was an error on the part of the dealership because they sold me a car whose title had never been released. I have to not only call every week but on multiple occasions speak to the Director of Finance to get any type of response. Each time I called I was told 'its on the way" or "its in the mail" or 'we are on top of this" -- all the while nothing was in the mail. At one point I spoke to a salesman who said "i am really sorry. they are having lots of problems here in management and they can't get their act together. You are not the only one that has had issues." I wish I had known this before I went to this dealership because nobody should have to stay on top of getting a title or tags or license plate to their car by calling every week for months. I would steer clear of this dealership. I am very disappointed. I filed a report with the BBB and now have to contact an attorney. I would definitely steer clear of this dealership -- they just don't care about the person(s) buying their cars.

We purchased our 2017 Explorer at Capital Ford new in 2018. They have handled all warranty issues promptly, courteously, and professionally to our satisfaction. Our latest problem is that our older daughter drove our explorer to Myrtle Beach this Friday, and when she stopped a warning light came on advising of an issue with the cooling. On Sunday, we called Capital Ford in Raleigh and advised of our situation. Ron Lumley contacted Beach Ford in Myrtle Beach and arranged to have our vehicle towed to the dealer there, AND arranged a loaner car for us. Rob Hannon at Beach Ford met with me and arranged everything very quickly. He was very courteous and friendly; arranging local towing and the loaner. Due to these efforts, we were able to get back on the road quickly. Couldn't ask for better service. They far exceeded our expectations!! I will purchase my next car from Capital Ford!! I recommend Beach Ford to our Myrtle Beach friends!! Also a big thank you to Tim Michaels for being a great leader to an amazing team.

I received great customer service from James in the Service Dept. who helped me with my Ford Fusion 2016. I had an oil leak that was covered under manufacturer's warranty and he was extremely helpful. I did not have a way to get to work while my car was being repaired and he very kindly helped me to get a rental vehicle while my vehicle was in the shop. The service was prompt and everything was covered!

Extremely disappointed in this company. They will not honor there warranty. I was allotted with a 30 day 4000 mile warranty and within two days I hear a noise Nd when they thought it was a cheap fix they were ok with it but as soon as they found out it was going to be 2000$ they took it to there dealer and tried to say there's nothing wrong. Mind you that I have had a dodge dealer look at it and and off road shop. So they have pretty much said that these well know shops have no clue what they are talking about. Save yourself a headache.

I recently had an awful experience at Crossroads Ford. I went to Capital Ford on a whim, I am glad I did. Reggie Grimmes took amazing care of me. Kept me informed on every step and actually got me excited again about getting a vehicle. Also when I had issues with t he car 24 hrs later and was told I was not able to get a loaner, I called Reggie and he took care of everything. I will be a loyal customer for life. I visited Capital Ford Inc and worked with Brian Clifton, he is an excellent sales consultant. He was able to answer my questions regarding the Ford Explorer I was interested in. He was very knowledgeable and great to work with. I would say total hours I spent was less than 3 hours including test drive of 2 SUV s and went home with my NEW 2021 Ford Explorer. Thank you Brian Clifton and Xenia Murphy for all your help. You guys are great to work with!!!

This is the worse experience ever in dealing with a dealership. I will never go back to Capital Ford, and anyone who is in contact with me, will receive the same feedback if they are in market for a vehicle. Do yourself a favor, go someplace else, ANY PLACE is better, buy a Volkswagen if you have to , at least they treat you right even after the sale is completed. After purchasing a vehicle with extended warranty for my business 2 months ago, the transmission gave up, no big deal, I was patient and understanding since I knew I purchased an extended warranty and stuff happens. Well, 2 weeks after taking the truck back for a 5 day repair job ( at maximum) they did not even diagnose the truck, or call me, email me,etc.2 months later I still do not know when my truck will be fixed, what is even more disturbing, their service people DO NOT KNOW EITHER!!! I emailed the General Manger, no response, I called 10-15 times a week for 4 weeks, they do not even have the decency to call me back...what a joke of a way to do business with a repeat customer!!
At this point, I have no other option but request assistance from my attorney to attempt receiving any results, or response. My business lost thousands due to their horrible service after purchase , which proves that all they want is your money and they are on to the next pray, its all just a numbers game for them.
Again, don't be like me, call a different place, ANY PLACE...

Mr. Jimmy White is an exceptional sales person. He is not a pushy person and really caters to the needs of the consumer. I was all over the place switching colors, makes, models and he just remain calm the entire time. Some people may not have done that but thank GOD he did. He called back a few hours after leaving the truck and stated there was nothing wrong with my vehicle! It was very obvious he did not take his time to check out the issues. Very disappointed!

Voicemail and e-mail sent to manager Jerry Mosley requesting a courtesy car for my trip. Never received a response. Ford Motor makes great cars, but Capital Ford's culture leaves much to be desired.

Just before they do the oil change and tire rotation I'm told it's going to be $150.00 ? ?. I believe they knowingly and willingly try to deceive their customers.

I'm a regular customer at Ford for my cars, I have noticed that with the Works package the technician is not really completing every thing on the check list, not topping off fluids, check tire pressure, I have one tire that loses air every 2 months and I know it does,When I left Ford on Saturday the tire light came on the next day and I checked the tire pressure and none of the tires had the same pressure, But I did have to pay for 8 bolts , I was told they were swollen,Suppose I did not have the money for the bolts...I 'm very disappointed and felt like I was being bullied into buying the bolts.I know I need a new battery because you told me this back in the winter, but now that I have the works check list it says the Battery is Good.. Not happy, may have to go out to Crossrords in the future.

My experience was terrible. I talk to a salesman all week tell him I don't want to make the hour and a half trip down to their dealership without being approved for the vehicle I want. So all week long I keep asking him if he can get me into the truck I wanted, and he keeps saying yes. I drive down there just to be told no we can't get you into the truck you wanted. He even sent a doc. over saying the dealership was going to give me 3500 in rebates and Ford motor was going to give me 4500. When I get there they come out where the dealership is giving me 1000 in rebates and Ford Motor is giving me 4500.

Staff were polite and courteous, waiting area was pleasant and well-stocked. Three star rating is due to the fact that I was told my service would take "less than an hour". An hour and a half after that, I was told that an additional problem would take another 45 minutes to solve. It took another hour and a half before my car was ready. I understand that new problems and supply issues can cause delays in service, but in the future I will be asking for a loaner for anything more significant than an oil change. Less than an hour in a waiting room is fine, three hours is not.

Edit: After my second visit to Capitol Ford, I'm taking my rating down a star. This is a self-inflicted wound for them. When some mid-level customer satisfaction person called to ask how my visit went I told him that for the second time the actual wait time was more than double the estimated wait time, and that I would not be coming back to Capitol Ford for anything more complicated than an oil change unless they could give me a loaner. To add insult to injury, the excuse this time was the same as last time, namely that while the part they needed was "in stock" it was at their "warehouse" and the travel time to get the part was the cause of the delay. Either they need to add 60-90 minutes to their time estimates because apparently all their parts are off-site, or they need to come up with a better excuse.

At this point I'm only going there because they are very close to my home. If I find a nearby place that does Ford warranty service, I won't be coming back.

I came in for a service recall, customer service and everybody was nice. they were finished with my vehicle in a pretty good time and I thought everything was smooth. literally the next day started noticing noises on my vehicles that were never there before I brought my car in. I called and asked about it they set a new appointment so what was supposed to be the next Monday. Show up Monday trying to look at the issue and they say my appointment is not until the 23rd and there's nothing they could do they are all booked up for the day. So now I have to wait another week riding around not knowing what's wrong with my car . I hope im not getting the run around really going to say has nothing to do with the recall. Smh. We'll see how this goes

We are tremendously happy with my 2011 Escape. It has been on numerous long-distance trips and has not only handled nicely, but has been great on gas mileage and has offered a very comfortable ride. I am very happy that we chose this vehicle and also Capital Ford. Our sales rep there was very attentive and worked beautifully with us throughout the entire process from beginning to end. The support staff after the purchase was great in training me to set up the stereo/phone system. When I am ready for a new vehicle, I will definitely return to Capital Ford. MANY THANKS!

Took my 2015 Ford Focus in for an oil change, and told the gentleman that I left my keys with that I would be interested in getting a quote for trade in value. They finished the oil change, and I was instantly contacted by Jim Pitts who was a pleasure to work with!! I had negative equity in my Ford Focus, and not only was he able to work out an amazing deal to help with the negative equity, he performed a miracle to get me into a brand new 2017 Ford Escape, with a payment plan comparable to what I had been paying for the Ford Focus. Jim Pitts is personable and professional, and he actually cares about whether or not you will drive away happy. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I couldn't be happier with my Ford Escape! <3

The service was fine. They serviced my car in a timely manner. Other ford dealerships in other states wash the car that is being serviced as a courtesy and wonder why this location doesn't.
Also, Ford needs to stop calling me to get me to sell my car. They have mailed me letters and called me several times and I have said no over and over again.
