Terrible service. Convinced me to get service for my jeep which proved to be a cash grab. I called back 25 minutes after dropping off my car to get that service removed and I talked to another person who said no problem and would tell the agent I dealt with 'right away'. I waited till 30 minutes before my jeep was supposed to be ready for pick (no update calls during the day as I was told to expect). The agent told me he had received an email about removing the service, one hour after I called! He said it was too late, they already did it. When I finally got my jeep (the next day because they couldn't get it done in time like we agreed) I confirmed that my spare tire was rotating in with the other 4 and a separate agent said he thought it had been. I even told him I made a note of the tire on the back before I brought it in. He said he would talk to the mechanic and get back to me. Two days later and still no call. Definitely never going back there. If rather drive to St. Laurent where I bought my jeep than have the convenience of bringing it here as I live a 2 minute drive away.

We purchased a Grand Cherokee at Capital Dodge in September 2020.

The service we received from all staff we interacted with at Capital Dodge was superb, second to none we had experienced in the past at other dealerships.

We are extremely pleased with the efficiency and no nonsense approach that Capital Dodge staff provided to us. All were very knowledgeable and very friendly as well.

At the end of the day - we feel we have purchased an excellent vehicle at a price that could not be beat.

We highly recommend stopping by Capital Dodge to anyone on the market for a new vehicle.

We certainly will next time we are looking!

It was with trepidation that we forked over our $4K for the extended, extended warranty for our Fiat 2012 Sport, with a $100 deductible, a few months ago.

Over the weekend the "check engine" light came on. Today I had a 7am appointment. Brent took all the information from me, and had me authorized $100 + tax for the repair. When we next spoke just before noon, they had identified many individual items, running $350 in parts so far and the labor to install, cajole, etc., and there's more to fix in a week or two when more parts come in. Four different modules in the engine, back rotors, front shocks - all could cost a lot. Total cost to me: only $100 + tax. Nice :)

I was nervous about purchasing my first vehicle, I had alway thought car dealerships were a scary places filled with salesmen that would rip you off. I'm so glad I went to capital dodge because they proved that all wrong! My sales rep, Shannon, was not only incredibly knowledgeable and answered all my questions, but she also helped make it work for my budget and never pressured me to do or get anything I wasn't comfortable with. They made my first car buying experience great and I love my car. When I decide it's time to upgrade I will definitely be going back there

I bought a new grand caravan in early October 2020. I was impressed with the salesman Josh who worked with me to find a car that fit my my budget and Michael the finance manager. All in all was a very good experience. Also quite impressed with their seriousness in social distancing. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Hi, on October 10th 2018 I took my vehicle to capital dodge for the first time. I must say my experience there was totally awesome. The service advisor that I had was Mark Stuwart. He treated me with politeness, respect and common courtesy. Not to mention that he answered all my questions. Also all of the staff my wife and I spoke with was also very nice and respectful. Now my Suv is running much better now. I will be returning to Capital dodge for all my vehicle needs
I would also like to once again say thank you Mark for your extensive help on getting my truck back on the road.

Usually hate to put bad reviews but this experience is alarming and need to be shared , this location Took me for a ride on my warranty , went in to check in 2 recalls by chrysler they did not honour it as well want me to pay 4000 to change an air suspension pump claiming not covered under warranty , charged 50 dollar to check a key plus 20 dollars for the battery , very disappointing service .

Great service, never to high a pressure to purchase a car which is good. I ve got no problem purchasing another vehicle from them but they seem to call all the time when they think your vehicle needs service. If you know vehicles and you know the one you bought you know when and what need to be serviced. Also most modern vehicle tell you when it s time for a service.

Capital Dodge has to be the best dealer in Ottawa. They have helped my mom buy all her her cars and have helped me as well. It doesn't feel like they are just there to sell you a car. It feel like there are there to help you find a car that suits what you need. They are very honest and a great business. Ask for "Mo" he has to be the best in the business. I recommend it to all my friends and family so I would definitely recommend it to you too!! :D

Capital Dodge has been my dealer of choice since the early 1990's. Since then my family have purchased six vehicles from this dealership. The sales department have always dealt with me fairly and the service department has been pleasant to deal with.
My Fiat 500L pocket rocket, was purchased with the help of Andreanne who made the buying experience enjoyable, without the usual stress.
My latest acquisition, a Chrysler 300 was also purchased from Capital.
I find it important to keep control of service visits to avoid purchasing supplemental service work which inflates my service bill no end. Such as brake fluid flush, transmission fluid change, injector body clean.

I have had nothing but a bad experience with Capital Dodge. I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler that is still under warranty that has been in need of service for over two months. The service department has put parts on order but can't give me even a timeline for them to arrive. This has been going on for months now, and when I call or drop in to check , they simply tell me " no ETA on the parts you will just have to wait like everyone else" So it seems there are others that are awaiting parts to repair their Jeep?? Pretty sure once this is fixed, it will be my last Jeep and last trip to Capital Dodge.

Right away, the salesman, Tommy, asks us about our needs, not the payment, which is pretty rare at a car dealer. He listens carefully to what we say and by doing so, he's able to show us exactly what we are looking for. He did such a great job that we bought the car! John, the manager was really nice too. In fact, 5 years ago, he was a salesman at the same car dealer and we bought our truck from him. Since then, without any surprises, he was promoted as the manager. Ask for Tommy, you will not regret it!

So I bought a truck from this dealership 2 years ago. I told them at that time I like having new vehicles and that I'd be interested in buying a new one in 2 to 3 years. They told me if I was willing to buy a new truck from them they would buy back the truck with no negative equity. THEY called me last month saying they'd like to buy back the truck if I was interested in purchasing a new one. I thought, wow these guys are on the ball. I get there and they tell me that my 50000 truck is worth 25000 while selling a same year, lower model with more kms out front for 35k. Then tell me that the bi weekly payments I said I'd be willing to make, which were no problem over the phone, were actually 100 more bi weekly. Unreal. I told them 4 times over the phone, just don't waste my time, well they did. Then they offered me same truck I had, with less options for more, these guys are frustrating, mostly because the other Chrysler dealerships are even more greasy.

I just recently moved to Ottawa. I had a few issues with my Fiat 500, two dealerships in the Montreal area didn't repair my car properly. (One actually totally missed the real problem). Finally brought my car to Capital Dodge to have it fixed and they did an incredible job!
Brent was really friendly and did an amazing job on keeping us posted and worked hard for us so it wouldn't cost us too much. My car had some major repairs done and I couldn't be happier on how everything turned out. Thanks again!

Quick response to initial query - low price advertised on website and kijiji
Test drive set up for next day 24 hours + later
Vehicle is not ready for test drive and none of the electronics in the car are functional
The salesperson is not knowledgeable about vehicle, also appeared not to know how to drive a manual vehicle and had me drive it off the raised curb
When negotiating purchase, we were informed of a mistake in the pricing. The dealership would not honour the original posted price. We were not informed of this price difference even though it was noted and fixed that morning . We had checked the price online that morning as well as it had not been changed.
When continuing to negotiate sale price, the salesperson, upset with us pushing on negotiations and trying to get the price back to the original advertised price, told us that he really didn t care how much we paid, as he was only making $400 on the sale regardless of price . Didn t really give the impression of caring about us or making the sale.
After purchase, we got home and realized that we had not asked about or been informed about dealership policy on licensing and plating of vehicles. I immediately sent an email to the Sales Manager and salesperson asking to clarify this so that we know if we need to bring our own plates (some people have multiple year stickers).
Two days later, I have received no response. I called the dealership that day and the next to follow up - no response.
The day following is our pickup day and I call the dealership again. The call is answered, but our sales team isn t in the office yet and can t be consulted.
We go to pick up the vehicle and are asked to walk around it to inspect it and we note three blemishes in the paint - two scratches down to steel and a scuff mark on a brand new vehicle! Our salesperson expresses his doubt that they will fix it for us and we are encouraged to set up an appointment with the Service department to get it fixed.
We are then sent back to the sales manager who apologizes for not getting back to us on our questions as she has been with customers back to back since she got in at 1pm even though we sent our questions in by email days prior.
We are charged for a new plate and sticker
The sales manager informs us that we will be getting a welcome package from the parts department, but will not be getting it that day because the parts guy is not in.
We schedule an appointment for the bodywork for two days later. When we come back to drop off the vehicle for service we pick up the welcome package, which is a tube of touch up paint and printed pages to tell me to buy dealer parts. (Why even mention this as a feature?)
One week later the vehicle is ready for pick up (again) and we go to check the repair - which is far from perfect (One chip is still visible with no clear coat applied and the section of door sill that was painted has several raised particles in the fresh paint. On a brand new vehicle!! Service tells me "dust extraction isn t the best at the body shop. I guess it s good enough for Capital? Unwilling to let them do more damage to my car by fixing it , I take it and leave.
Driving home I notice there is no sound from my subwoofer. It's 10 minutes to 6pm. I call immediately and reception forwards me service, where I sit on hold until 6pm (closing) and am pushed to voicemail. I leave a message. It is never returned.

You would think all of these things would be caught by a technician during the PDI (that is built into the price you pay) or sales before delivery instead of by the customer when they are presented with their new vehicle. It's nice I finally got to drive it a week and a half after delivery....

I would NOT recommend this dealer EVER for anything. Sales, Service, and their body shop were unable to do anything correctly or competently the 1st time. Go ANYWHERE but here.

Went to the dealership to check out Grand Caravan's to support our growing family. Went inside to talk to a salesman about the used inventory and met Josh. He was incredibly helpful and managed to help talk the wife out of a Caravan and into a Journey. Had minor technical difficulties with the vehicle in the first couple of days but the service department at the dealership was spectacular and took great care of it with no issues since.

John Broussard's easy-going manner and great knowledge of the Capital Dodge inventory made our purchase of a brand new Ram a stress-free experience that ended in a great deal.

We closed the deal after closing time, but Mike Skaff stayed late to go through all the paperwork with us and was extremely friendly and helpful throughout.

In addition to great service, Capital got me behind the wheel of my new truck in less than 48 hours.

On pick up, John pointed out a scratch that the detailers noticed and said it would be fixed at my convenience.

All-in-all, we had a great buying experience at Capital Dodge thanks to John, Mike, and the rest of the Capital Dodge team.

After having a glimpse of it (2014 Town and Country limited) on the net, we went to this dealer (Capital Dodge) because our car was waiting there for us... Mike Leblanc was the one to introduce us and although we did consider other options, Josh made it plain that we were meant to be together! But even though love may be blind, it isn't cheap and we wanted to be sure that we could support this T&C with TLC. It was Mike Skaff that sealed the deal and made it official.
This commitment will see us return to the dealership regularly - Jack had something to do with this - and we are hopeful that the honeymoon stage will last until we feel we can never be separated.

He's very helpful, knowledgeable, entertaining and gets the job done. He's not pushy with any recommendations in terms of repairs or maintenance. I gladly come see Nick every time I come to Capital Dodge.

Buying my Grand Caravan was painless but living with it has been anything but. It's a good thing that I bought the extended warranty as I probably would have had to declare bankruptcy to pay for all that has been repaired. When I bought the van I was worried about rust as Dodge has always had a problem with this so I purchased the rust protection and the extended warranty for rust. What a waste of money!! The extended warranty isn't from Dodge but from a third party, which are notorious for not paying up! I also asked the lady if I had to do anything to maintain coverage and was told no. after two years the van started to rust. The service manager just told the service department to make a note of it in my file. Two years after that the van is a rust bucket, with rust appearing at almost every single joint on the van. An estimate put the repairs at over $6,000.00. I'm stuck with the repair as it turns out that I was supposed to have the van inspected every two years by the dealership and have them sign and send in a report. This was never done as I was unaware of this and Capital Dodge never informed me or helped me out with this. They can estimate your mileage and call you all the time to try to sell you service work on your vehicle but I guess ensuring that your money spent of warranties is not a priority, they already have that money, they just want more.
We are now shopping to replace my wife's car and I will use my bad Capital Dodge experience to ensure that it doesn't happen to her, and believe me we won't be buying a car from Capital Dodge for her or my next vehicle.

A bunch of crooks. I came in looking for a low payment on something with lower km's on it, and after being shown sevrel options I was told the lowest payment I could get was way more than what I told them my budget was. I was brought to the conclusion that I would not be able to get any better than that. After signing I went shopping around and they were not telling me the truth, I found a vehicle at $60 less bi/werklw somewhere else.
I was told that it was too late the car is mine I already signed. After calling omvic I found that I don't have to go through with the deal but Scott topde I was stuck in it and refused to give my deposit back.
Moral being, do your shopping before you come see these guys there so hard up for money they have to keep deposits to make bank.

Recently, the A/C on my 2013 Caravan died. Normally this would be a warranty issue but we were over the 60 000km so I assumed I was out of luck. Expecting a huge repair bill I contacted Capital Dodge with the hopes that there might be some way to reduce the cost of the repair.

I brought the van in to Capital Dodge and after diagnosing the problem, Assistant Service Manager Ryan Rodney called me to inform me he had arranged for the part to be covered by Dodge as a good will offer and, add to that the labour costs would be reduced! What was a $1600 repair came all the way down to under $250!

I can't thank Capital Dodge enough, and Ryan Rodney in particular for helping me out! I was very, very impressed with the professional service and the willingness to go beyond the call of duty! Certainly made my day!

I just want to say THANK YOU to Ryan Rodney Assistant Service Manager In my opinion he should be the manager as the current one does not give a damn about customers or know anything about customer service!! After being refused a warranty claim and calling to find out why and only given the 1-800 customer care number and no further explanation or help I decided to go back into Capital Dodge just to have someone explain to me why it was denied. It didn't seem fair. Luckily for me Ryan was at the front desk. He was honest and forth coming He wasn't exactly familiar with the situation and reasoning but did not give up there. He took the extra few minutes made a few phones calls and managed to get hold of someone who could help. He was determined to get me an answer and that was all I wanted I wanted to feel like someone there for once gave a damn about their customers Ryan Rodney is the only reason I would ever ever go back to Capital Dodge He in my opinion went above and beyond what was required. He made me feel like a valued customer Capital Dodge had better hope you never lose him or you will be losing a lot!!! He is the prime example of what TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE is all about!!!! THANK YOU SO VERYMUCH!! I appreciate all the time and explanations and most importantly you listened to my concern and realized I was just looking for an explanation I wasn't complaining! I heard Capital Dodge services off-make vehicles and decided to take my Subaru in for an oil change while in the neighborhood. They're staff was quick to greet me, friendly and my SUV was ready in record time! The cost was on par if not little better to my regular dealership visit. Living and working in the west end and not having to travel downtown for an oil change, really made my day. I will definitely be coming back.

** Update** I came back again for their "get the salt out" package on my Subaru and I must say it was the best detailing I've ever had! Now I pretty much live in my car (commuter) and I have a very active labrador who loves mud so Capital certainly had their work cut out for them when they started. I've tried those detailing specific places before, but the care that went into my SUV was more than I expected.

I have used the services of Capital Dodge Kanata, Ontario, to my satisfaction for four years. After six years and 91,000 km on my 2014 JEEP Cherokee Trailhawk the break system was serviced. Three month later after 2,000 km newly installed front breaks had to be replaced and one month later and only 1,000 km both the front and rear breaks needed another replacement. This time I specifically asked not to use the same "cheap" parts and I asked to use exactly the parts originally installed. This was not done. The next dealer's faux pas was loaner car provided by PAYLESSCAR rental company. The offered WHI Dodge Grand Caravan had the USA plate MI DYQ7102, 52,526 kms, was dirty and damaged from the outside and tires were totally worn-out. After my refusal and inspection done by Dealer's manager I was given new and clean rental car from Enterprise rental company.

I had a fantastic experience here.
My new Jeep I bought elsewhere 2 weeks ago had many cosmetic and fit/finish issues identified over past week or so. I wasn't happy.
I arrived here, never been before, no appointment.
One of the sales guys listened to me, and looked at problems right away. Then Ryan the associate manager took over. Ryan is awesome and completely took care of all my issues. Great listener, empathetic and couldn't have asked for a nicer guy.
My car was immediately brought into a bay and all issues taken care of.
Ryan and his staff made me feel like a real person and was handled as well as could hope for.
I highly recommend anyone to go there for their service.

Went in to test drive a Ram truck. Told the rep I had just one hour but didn't seem to care about it. After 35 minutes he still hadn't asked for my driver's license for the road test. The salesman was pushy, arrogant and after he asked me a question, didn't really want my answer. I was insulted by the treatment, told him I'd had enough and he laughed as we left. I'll give them a try for service on the new Ram I bought because they're closer and really hoping for better service. Maybe I just got the worse salesman because the one I asked for was not in.

I went into Capital Dodge last September, 2014, looking to buy a new Jeep but not knowing if it would be possible for me to purchase a new vehicle at that time. My 2005 Jeep Liberty, bought at Capital Dodge in 2008, had served very well for six years but was starting to show some wear after nine years of multiple drivers/passengers and it was time for me to look at getting my OWN new car.

Although I hadn't made a prior appointment, I was greeted warmly at the front desk and the Receptionist introduced me to Shannon Duncan who just happened to be available. That Shannon would be the salesperson to assist me, quite frankly, made the whole process of buying a new car transparent and enjoyable for me. From the very first time we met, Shannon understood both my desires and concerns about a new vehicle purchase, yet she was patient, professional and pleasant to deal with--I never once felt pressured in any way.

In fact, after we toured the huge Capital Dodge car lot and I made my selection, Shannon went to work right away in sorting out the pricing and financing particulars. She kept me completely informed throughout and I was able to speak with other Capital Dodge experts, who also were most informative and helpful. I won't go over every detail but it's clear to me: the entire Capital Dodge Team really know their stuff!!

Once the financing details were finalised a few days later, I brought back my Liberty to Capital Dodge as a trade-in at fair book-value. Shannon handed me the keys to my brand new 2014 Jeep Wrangler with a big smile and warm handshake and I drove a Victory Lap around the Palladium Automall loop before departing Capital Dodge that day!

After almost a full year, driving my Wrangler is ever more a thrill and truly a capable Jeep. I have only a softop but had no issues with the extreme cold of last winter during several inter-city road trips. Summer driving with the roof open or top fully down is simply a real pleasure...actually it's way more than that...so many 'Wooohooo' moments! So very many thanks to Shannon and the Capital Dodge Team for making it happen for me! I already know that I will be returning to Capital Dodge when the time comes for trade-up! And I fully expect to be a customer for life too. Capital Dodge earned my highest recommendation-- 5 Stars, all around!

Brought my 2014 Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab today for scheduled maintenance and recall regarding tailgate lock. I've always brought my truck to Capital Dodge for service since I purchased the truck. I always return to this dealer as I find the staff courteous and professional. As any service agent will do, they will recommend additional service to be done, however, what I appreciate is that they respect your decision to decline if you choose to do so. In such cases they just note the recommendation on your invoice. One thing to note is that they are obviously following Covid-19 guidelines and that is appreciated.

Bought a new Ram Sport Quad Cab through Chris MacCuaig and I was very satisfied with the whole experience. Chris got me a great price and dealing with him was low pressure and hassle-free, unlike salesmen I've dealt with in the past at other dealerships. I had a spray-in box liner installed before taking possession of the truck and dealt with Eric and Brian in parts. The liner was sprayed properly and the truck was ready when promised. I've already referred a friend to Chris.

Terrible customer service. Took my tires when I sp...

Terrible customer service. Took my tires when I specifically asked for them back (5 times), refused to give them back to me, made me pay for the unrequested service, then denied giving me a refund. When I asked for the tires they told me there was "a shed outback I can go look through". I work for a car dealership in Toronto and this customer service was simply appalling. Dana was the service adviser, Kyle the service manager was so unqualified and unapologetic. He informed me Dana was "having an off day" and "that doesn't sound like something he would say", lastly for me to "have a nice trip back to Toronto" while motioning me out the door. When I asked simply to receive the $20 refund. I purchased my vehicle here, and am so disappointed I cannot continue to service my vehicle there due to their complete lack of customer service.
