I would like to thank the guys at Capital Dodge, more specifically Mark and Donald. I come from a customer service background so I naturally have high expectations on how customers should be treated and these two did not disappoint! I had an emergency situation with a work truck and a crazy tight deadline to make. I called first thing in the morning, they were able to squeeze me in and fix the problem, in and out with 2 hours, and back on the road. They were polite and did everything they could to get me going, I believe this even meant taking a part off a lot truck ! Anything to make the customers happy ..... These guys have it figured out, Capital Dodge is lucky to have people like this. I will only be going to see them in the future for service. Keep up the great work guys.

My 300s and my Fiat 500L Lounge only get touched under the hood by them. I drive 30 min out of my way for their service. That says a lot.

I bought my truck from them 3 years ago, truck itself is full of minor issues but the bigger problem is when I bring it in to be taken care of. Iv been told twice now that I will be given a loaner vehicle for the inconvenience but when I show up I m told otherwise and at sent to the rental counter. The problem that comes with that is you have to be 25 to rent a vehicle, I m 22. So I made it clear when I booked my appointment for today about my situation, they said they left notes on my file and would talk to the right people and be taken care of, but none of this happened and left me taking the shuttle home and having to figure out how to get to work in the morning. You guys will sell me a truck but leave me stranded when it goes in for warranty or recalls.

In January of 2015, we had to replace our old Mazda as it was expiring quite rapidly in the harsh winter. We had identified a need for a pick up, and after performing significant Internet research on what truck would be best to meet our needs, it was time to visit the local dealers to see for ourselves what would be best for us. From the moment we walked into Capital Dodge, Shannon Duncan made the buying experience pleasant and easy. We had visited other dealerships in the area, and we can definitely say she was the most knowledgeable, friendly and laid back salesperson we dealt with! She was not pushy, and if she didn't have an answer to any of our questions, she got us the answers in a timely fashion. Thanks Shannon - the RAM has been great!!
The service staff are friendly and efficient. The appointment system work well. My rating is based on the result of the inspection of my vehicle. I was told parts needed replacing that were in fact changed recently on a car that has barely been driven and gently when it was. The pricing on parts was more than 4 times what I can get them for and the labour costs were outrageous. Estimate of 5000$ feels like it was designed to try and get me to trade it in. The evaluation even started with an opening line of "Your looking at having to change vehicles ...". This is not my first negative interaction with Capital. Shortly after buying my used car a few years ago, and having been told there was no prior damage previously, a simple car wash blasted about 10 square inches of paint off my rear passenger door and I was told it was my problem, because it must have been a damage repair AFTER I bought paint protection on the car to boot! Never dealing with Dodge or Capital Dodge again.
I really enjoyed my experience here. I dealt with Sam and she was super helpful and friendly, not pushy at all.

My recent purchase of a 2019 Jeep Cherokee was with out a doubt the best new car purchase experience that I have had. All questions that I asked were answered factually and there were no pressure tactics forcing me to make a deal.
The sales person Sam Degrechie was knowledgeable and extremely helpful during the process. Thee was no back and forth between the sales person and the sales manager - just and agreement to a fair offer and no up sell.
The service staff were great and the Parts Manager gave very good advice regarding tire pressure sensors with the snow tire package.

Recently purchased a 2015 Wrangler from Capital Dodge, The purchase was easy thanks to the support of the sales staff and manager. All the staff is very friendly and genuinely excited to talk to you about their cars. Although I knew what I was going to purchase that day they still had me test drive a number of different models to ensure I was getting the right one. The turn around time was amazing, had the car within 72 hours. With the amazing weather we had this weekend I just wanted to say thank you and that I am thoroughly enjoying driving my 2015 Wrangler with no doors or roof!

I came for tire and oil change. I mention again that my Dodge Journey had creaking front suspension. I mention this every time when I come in for oil or tire change. I also mention that on the driver side the switch for the passenger window is not working right. When I picked up the car, the only thing I know is that my tires where changed. Oil maybe? creaking front suspension still there. Switch still not working right, They did a recall repair on the cruise control. Well that's what stated on my receipt and also all the things I mention was repaired.
COMPLETE FAIL. I dropped off my van for warranty work in the early am with an open work order and and advised that I would be back in the afternoon to get the van. I show up to pick it up and first no one can find my paperwork, then they advise me they DIDNT GET TO IT. No phone call no nothing. If anyone can suggest a better dodge dealer in Ottawa for service. I'd appreciate it. Needless to say I won't be back, neither should you.

Brought my car in for a 40 point inspection a couple weeks ago. I went to get my tires changed elsewhere and they were not able to take the lug nuts off as they were over torqued. After a bit of a struggle, we were able to get them off however one lug nut broke caused by them being over torqued. I called Capital dodge to see what could be done, spoke to 2 people about it, then was told I needed to talk to a manager?? All I was hoping for was a new lug nut, nothing else. They should consider giving their employees the power to take care of a complaint themselves, especially if it's only going to cost them $5. Not to mention the guy on the phone couldn't care less about what I had to say. I will gladly take my business elsewhere from now on.
Just bought a new truck and I was very pleased with the experience at the dealership. I dealt with Tommy Xing and Michael Skaff. Tommy was the salesman and was very professional and easy to deal with. I told him what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. There were no games, no waiting, or back and forth. Dealing with Michael for the paperwork was the same, information only and no pressure for upsales. Capital beat the dealer I was going to buy from in Toronto. I got a huge discount in addition to the Ram Truck discount!

The lady on the phone that does the booking for appointment, oh my my, full of attitude, really bad service! i have lots of problem with the car so far, customer service is poor, i want to get rid of the car and NEVER purchase from Dodge again!
We recently got my girlfriend's vehicle serviced at Capital Dodge and dealt with Nick in service. To be honest, we went in with a bad frame of mind and were upset because our car was acting up, but after dealing with Nick, we knew he would take care of it. He ensured that he would have his best tech put on the job, and he was always updating us with the status of the vehicle. There is also a rental car company right in the dealership that had good rates so we weren't left stranded. I would recommend Nick in service at Capital Dodge to anyone needing vehicle repairs, Chrysler or not. He turned a bad situation into something positive.

I bought a new 2019 Dodge Ram Laramie last week at the Palladium Drive store and couldn t have asked for a better experience. My salesman Josh Ovington was great. Service was arranged quickly. On arrival there was no waiting. I really appreciated the complimentary Uber to get me back home. I heard back within three hours ar so with a detailed description of the issue and an accurate quote. The car was ready the next day. Quick and friendly service.
Garbage told 3 hrs to change 5 tires on my jeep waited an hr till they told me my tires are not there that should of been ordered 2 weeks ago then asked for them to plug the tire waited another hour to find out they just went on lunch. Dont go there

Our latest adventure begins on a cold day in mid-Christmas Break, on a freezing rainy day, brightened by the welcome smile of the front desks' Gail Goulet, who sized up our request quickly and set us up with the Sales Depts' Connor Smythe, a friendly, knowledgeable, well organized soul, with a passion for excellent customer service. After looking at five good Grand Caravan's, we narrowed in on the one that met our needs best, and Connor respected our criteria and budget, and facilitated our ability to work out a good deal on a great pre-owned vehicle. Then it was the business offices' Maryann Renaud turn to impress us with answering any of our questions and explaining the rest of the car buying process, in her warm and engaging way. We just got the van checked by an outside mechanic, and everything the Capital Dodge delivery & safety team had said and done was confirmed 100% correct, and we could not be happier or more impressed. Recently I needed a part - Husky Winter floor liners. Brian and Eric were super knowledgeable and helpful. I was asking about the price, and they informed me that their price on this product is near cost, and they also 'price-match', if I found a better deal. Good policy. I did find a small savings from a Canadian parts supplier for a Black Friday sale, and Brian did match it. Products are in stock, or arrive in one or two days (as was my case). Excellent job guys. Thanks very much. Husky liners will extent the life and clean looks of my vehicle, from Winter's fury and salt stains.
Got a good deal on my truck, but high pressure for the overpriced extras, and strong sense of the old car sales stereotypes. Didn't leave an honest and trustworthy impression at all.
Bought a vehicle. Told it would be ready Saturday.
Go there Saturday from a couple of hours drive away. Vehicle not ready. Not even at the lot but in the compound.
Told it will be ready Tuesday. Vehicle still not ready. Not even started doing what they had to do.
Told they would send a message with pictures of the presents you can choose from when you buy a new car. Never received a picture.
All in all a disappointing experience.
Not likely to purchase there or recommend anyone purchase there.
Hands down best transaction ever. Not my first vehicle purchase but most certainly the easiest. Told them the budget. Went in test drive and walked out next day with it. Met the budget. No hassles, no games. Just honesty and a dedication to meet my needs. Job well done Sean, Tony, Johnny.

I have had nothing but bad luck with the service department. Please save your money. I am so discouraged and so tired of bringing in for one thing, having that one thing not be corrected properly and as a result something else going bad that I will drive halfway across the city to even have my warranty work done by anyplace other than this one. Be warned. It is so bad I will no longer even be buying any brand that this dealer services for fear of needing work done there.
Dealer does not give you the price of the vehicle that you want. I had been to Kanata Honda, Toyota and Kia and they all told me the price of their vehicle. They are too greedy that they will want you to close the deal on the same day you walk in. I talked to the manager about the possibility of trading in my car and he gave me numbers to see what I am willing to accept to close the deal. He mockingly told me that I haven't really done my research since the prices that he is enticing me is truly above the price of my vehicle. This is true but without him giving me the price of the vehicle I want, the trade in value is irrelevant. He can give me a trade in value of $100K but sell the car I want for $150K. They will just recuperate the "more trade-in value" from the price of the car once they offer it to you. At the end, he mocked me because I have my pen and paper with me and is ready to do my calculation (perhaps out of desperation).
Folks a word of advice: Don't deal with dealers like this. You only need to consider how much is the actual price, how much is the interest rate or total interest you have to pay on top of the price and what do you want out of it. The rest are just fancy thing to grab your money. If they don't give you this info or avoid to give this info, walk out. That's what I did.
I highly do not recommend this place to anyone.
Bought a 2018 Dodge Grand caravan from Sam degrechie great experience
This was hands down the best experience my family has ever had buying a vehicle. The sales reps aren't pushy and they never make you feel uncomfortable.
We bought our winters tires here, as well the winter floor mats. We were in out in under 15 minutes. The service team was just as good as the sales team.
All in all, I highly recommend this dealership.
Went to check out used Infiniti. Nathan greeted me, got the keys and off we went to see the car. I didn't like the interior so not interested but Nathan was very helpful, personable and witty. I would certainly deal with him in the future, he's good with people!
I would rate this place ZERO stars if it was possible. We went in looking at vans for our growing family. We were immediately shown a used vehicle. It was fine but I could tell they just wanted to sell me what had been sitting on the lot. Then they pulled the classic I have someone else interested coming to look at it. I can t believe they actually thought that would work. So we said we wanted to talk it over. They then suggested we put a deposit on the van to secure it and if we changed our mind, the agreement we would be signing would be null and void. We were brought into the finance office. The finance lady was getting all this paperwork and she said she would have to keep our original ownership of the vehicle we were possibly trading in. This immediately brought up red flags. So we wanted to confirm we weren t purchasing the vehicle and explained that the sales guy had suggested we come and put a deposit down while we decide if that was going to be a suitable fit. She said no we were in there to buy the vehicle. We immediately got up and left and the finance lady was visibly upset and annoyed with us (they were just about to close for the day and were hoping for a quick sale). THE CHERRY ON TOP OF THE CAKE was when we were leaving, they were putting up a SOLD poster on the front door with our last name on it. I was in shock with how SCUMMY these people are.
The next few days we spent at Dilawri Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram on Hunt club. We walked in immediately, were talked to, shown NEW vehicles and were given world class service from start to finish. We got an amazing deal on a new van and the best warranty package. I will be dealing with Mike from Dilawri from now on.
Maybe the staff should stop judging people by the way they look when they come in there and stop shopping out of their own pockets. I was not asked one question about my lifestyle or what I needed. As someone who works in sales myself I can spot those slimey sales tricks from a mile away but this was just beyond disappointing.

I recently used the Express Lane oil change service. I was in and out within less than 30 minutes. They recommended tire rotations (there was a special reduced price when combined with the oil change.
They checked the air filter, showed to me and stated that the replacement can wait until the next oil change. This made me feel that they are considerate of me (my budget) and my vehicle, compared to other service centres who are always trying to make us spend.
I am very satisfied, very professional outfit at Capital Dodge on Palladium Drive in Ottawa ... well done Tristan!!!
Went in for an oil change with my son, wait time wasn't too long and work was done well. Kaitlyn Leighton was so helpful and courteous. Staff there is definitely the reason I keep coming back for service.
When it comes to service on your vehicle you can t ask for anybody better than Capital Dodge Chrysler. They also have a very good parts department that is staffed with very knowledgeable and pleasant people to deal with.
Had many problems with the service department here. I made an appointment to have a recall done, and they took over 24 hours to call me and tell me that turns out they can't do anything until they order the parts in. They knew well in advance about what parts would be needed. The worst part was that I needed to rent a car from them since they don't offer loaners and they refused to cover the cost of the rental for the day they wasted OR the day they rescheduled the recall for. This was not the only incident I've had with their department.

My review comes a little late, but here it goes! I just wanted to thank capital dodge very much for their wonderful service. I needed a lot of work done that cost me quite a bit of money. I was able to get free windshield wipers. They were even honest and told me that I did not need a tire alignment (even though I was at the proper km's). They found a few wires and things (sorry not a car expert) that were about to cause problems and they fixed them on warranty. I am very happy and although I did not purchase my car here, I will be back for service and perhaps another car in the future. Thanks!
We just bought our 2nd truck from CD and dealt with Eddie this time around. Eddie was great to deal with. He was always quick to reply to all of our questions.... there were a lot, and helped us find the truck we wanted. I would recommend dealing with Eddie if you plan on buying from capital dodge .
