Andrews Jewelers Review

My fiance purposed to me on December 23, 2012 with the most beautiful Christmas gift I could have ever asked for. My ring is beyond stunning and everyone that admires it compliments how unique the setting is and many say it is the most beuatiful ring they have ever seen. Our wedding is July 20th, 2013 and we knew that picking out our wedding bands was one of the most important details of our big day. Andy custom made my wedding band and paid very special attention to the fine details that my engagement ring had to replicate the exact design in my band. He even went as far as creating hearts on the underside of my ring to remind me what our special day was all about. Overall, I was very impressed with the service and quality of product that Andrew's jewelers provided and would highly recommend any couple to share in the same experience.

Andrews Jewelers is the best in WNY. We have been dealing with Gina for 8 years and the staffs knowledge on diamonds is extensive. The design that Gina made for my wedding ring surpassed any dream that I had. We will never deal with another jeweler in WNY and I recommend them to everyone. If you go to another jeweler for engagement/wedding/diamond jewelry you are truly missing out.

Andrews did a great job repairing my pearl necklace after the safety clasp broke. They replaced the sterling safety clasp with a stronger white gold version that otherwise looked almost identical to the ornate clasp that had broken. The ladies in the store are very friendly, bright, happy and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Both my engagement ring and wedding band were purchased at Andrew's Jewelers. Not only is the quality of my rings impeccable, but the service we have received has been exceptional. I would highly recommend Andrew's. Their staff is as friendly as they are professional, and they continue to go out of their way to make our experience a positive one.

After a few days of searching for the perfect engagement ring, I arrived here with still no idea of what that could be. I met with Erica, and in a few minutes she was able to show me a couple of options that really hit the spot. I was so surprised of how easy she made it seem, that i wished i had stopped here from the beginning. Defintely a great place to stop by when in search of a great ring and great service.

I went to Andrew's jeweler's for the first time back in 2004 to browse for engagement rings. They have an AMAZING selection and the staff is very friendly/helpful (and patient). I ended up designing my engagement ring using several of their in stock rings as inspiration. The end result was beautiful and I treasure it to this day.

The original design of my ring was focused on making the band portion of the ring decorative. Budget constraints dictated that we purchase a plain head for the diamond to sit it. In 2011, it was time to swap out the plain head for something more decorative so back to Andrew's I went.

Again, the staff was SO HELPFUL and patient. I knew I wanted a halo to surround my existing stone. They also suggested pave stones for the prongs underneath the halo. I NEVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT! Now my ring is my DREAM RING! I get compliments on it all the time from strangers. It's so unique and, most importantly, it's EXACTLY what I wanted.

Occasionally, a small stone will fall out of my halo (not Andrew's fault... it's the nature of the pave setting) and they replace the stones no questions asked. It's this kind of continued customer care that really makes Andrew's stand out.

The staff at Andrew's attention to detail, is impeccable. I sent them an idea for my fiancee's ring, and they custom made it perfectly!!! So Satisfied!!!

I received a pair of earrings recently as a graduation present from my parents, who had gone to Andrews Jewelers to buy them for me. The earrings are gorgeous - and Jason helped them pick out exactly what I wanted. The service that they received was exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with the earrings that they bought. My husband and I have been customers of Andrews Jewelers for approximately 6 years. We moved to Florida 3 years ago, yet, save our jewelry needs, be they repairs or new purchases, until we visit Buffalo. We have purchased items selected from the case, as well as, worked with their design department. Jason is great! He listens to your needs and aims to please. No pressure. No trying to convince you to buy something you don't need/want. Most importantly, they are honest, offer a fair price, and amazing customer service. I just want to say that Andrew went above and beyond during this difficult time. I took my ring in to get a diamond replacement and everything got shut down. The ring looks amazing, not only did he replace the diamond, he cleaned it to make it look practically brand new! I advise if you need your ring taken care of to take it here. Definitely recommend!

Andrew was so nice and knowledgable. I had a repair to make and he reset a diamond pendant I had. The process was easy and his judgment was great. The staff was wonderful!

A little over 2 years ago I walked into Andrews very excited. I was going to purchase a ring to propose to my then girlfriend. They had come highly recommended by someone I trusted and had heard amazing things.
I knew next to nothing about rings other than what they tell you to ask for and the sales staff was very friendly and helpful. We found a ring that matched what I was looking for, it looked beautiful and worked inside my budget. Everything was perfect.
Fast forward to this year and things go south. I know have the ring and am looking to sell it. Why not go back to the place I bought it from I thought.
Well I stopped in one day in December and was told by the nice girl at the desk that they were busy and I should try after the holidays. Thats fair I thought. I wasn't in too much of a rush.
So I contacted them today to see when I could come in to finalize this and be done with a tough period in my life and move on.

Now the person on the chat was identified as Andy Moquin. If not the owner he is related to him. I was told bluntly and plainly that they no longer do buy backs. When I expressed my disappointment in hearing this, I was told what must be one of the rudest responses I've heard in a long time. There is truth in his statement, but this person had no idea what the situation was. I never went into detail of why i was looking to sell back the ring. It was never asked by him and I didn't even get a chance to share. I will include a screen shot of the comment with this post. For all he knew my wife could have died and I was a widower, but no he chose the rude route and handled this the completely wrong way.

If this is the way they conduct busy for customers its a real shame. It gives the impression that they just want your money and don't care about anything else. I have the feeling that if I went back to him saying a needed an anniversary gift they would have rolled out the red carpet, but instead they show you the back door. Again I understand his comment and there is great validity and truth in it, but that isn't something to tell a customer, especially without knowing the facts of the situation.

There are plenty of good reputable jewelers in Buffalo and I'm sure to pay them a visit next time I'm in market for quality jewelry. There's a chance I might pay more, but there's also a chance I will get treated with a bit more respect.

I would NOT recommend Andrews to anyone. I spent $16k on an engagement ring and he offered me $6.5k to buy it back and then backed out of it. Took it other places to sell it and apparently the certification is through an entity no longer accepted in the US. Can't get an offer on it anywhere. I am thoroughly disgusted.

I love Andrews Jewelers!!! The staff there are super nice. We purchased my engagement ring and a watch so far. They are super knowledgeable and very helpful. I cant wait to purchase our whole wedding ring set. I love that when I come in they offer to clean my ring anytime. They are very helpful with exchanges. They are very professional but also make it very comfortable to shop. Not pushy at all like other places. I would recommend Andrews Jewelers over any other Jeweler. I always feel uncomfortable walking into jewelers, I feel like I am just a price tag but ever since I started going to Andrews I have never felt so comfortable when Gina is working. Gina makes me feel like she truly does care and would do anything to make me happy. I work in the customer service field and to have an employee like Gina is very rare to come by, her customer service skills are A+ and her knowledge about the industry leaves me 100% satisfied with all my purchases I make through her. There is no one else I would go to. I am now life time customer!

I recently visited Andrew's for the first time looking for a gift for my wife's 30th birthday. Not really sure that I was looking for, I met with Elizabeth who made the process for me (which I have found in most other establishments to be rather annoying) quite relaxing.
She went over countless pieces with me and with a few small suggestions I made regarding my wife's taste, Liz found the perfect gift. I would highly recommend Andrew's, from the most discerning buyers to someone who is looking for a charm from a bracelet.
Also, it never hurts when the person you are working with is just as attractive as the jewelry :)

Went back to Andrews 13-14 years after purchasing my wife s engagement ring to upgrade the diamond. They made the process super easy and gave me the best prices than anyone else in the area. Sarah was great to work with.

They helped me to create custom jewelry using heirloom diamonds that were passed down through generations. It started with a drawing and turned in to a wax prototype, which I approved before production. The result speaks for itself.

I am recently married and my husband got my beautiful ring from Andrews! It was a complete surprise when he proposed and the ring was absolutely beautiful! Vikki helped him with the whole experience, and even now is so attentive when I stop in to get my rings cleaned. She goes above and beyond all the time! Thank you for all your help!

What a great experience shopping at Andrews! I am not a rich person and they treat me like I am one of their best customers. I drive from Gowanda to shop and will not go anyplace else (I pass A LOT of other jewelry stores along the way since its about a 55 minute ride from Gowanda to Williamsville). Victoria is awesome; superb customer service, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend my friends and family to Andrews for all of their fine jewelry needs.
