This place was amazing! We arrived and were asked if we would like a complimentary room upgrade to a suite with a pool (the one we booked only had a jacuzzi). We were thrilled! I love the on site activities like paddle boating, tennis, archery, the public pools, hot tubs and arcade. It was so nice staying here, it is definitely an amazing choice for a romantic couples vacation.

Excellent food!! Nice room...diana's oasis was a little small. Did not like the fact that lunch wasn't included and the only place you could get food during the day was outside by the pool in the heat. Took the room tour that was offered as an activiry, and we liked the Garden of Eden Suite or the Champagne Tower Suites- both are spacious. Thought it was a little outrageous that there were over $90 of taxes and fees added to the room base price. Really Nice game room, room. Overall it was a nice place for us to spend a day or two to get away.
We reported our problems to the management by written letter after our first night in the room. We got NO response. The facility has suffered too long from deferred maintenance. The sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain, the heater in the bathroom was hanging loose from the wall. The outlet next to the bed was loose in the wall and would not hold a plug in. The outlet in the bathroom was not working. The paint was chipped. The light in the pool did not work. Paint was peeling off the bottom of the heart-shaped pool. The faucet in the champagne tub leaked hot water constantly. My husband burned his toe when he stepped into it to turn it on for the first time. The bulbs in all the lamps had been replaced with glaring fluorescent bulbs that could kill the hottest romance. The sauna, if you want to call it that was just a dry wall heater with rocks on top that took a long time to warm up and gave no steam or comfort. The place is aged, but some of that might be overlooked if it were at least clean. There were stains and spots all over the carpet in the entry way. There was so much dust in the AC it looked like a stuffed animal had exploded in there. I cleaned the filter myself, but that didn't help the vents. The carpet had a coating of dust all around the edges. The windows and window sills were so dusty I wrote "wash me" on them the morning we left. The ceiling fan had a cover of dust and it had compacted the dust to the surrounding walls and ceiling. The fireplace was useless unless we had bought a faux log for an additional price which the staff didn't even bother to offer.
Terrible, I will never ever stay here again. Once and done. I was expecting a romantic getaway and I was completely wrong. The first day we found a roach in our pool, complained, they went to clean our pool came back and stated there was no roach, even tho it was floating near my foot and was gone after maintence "checked it". Basically called me a liar. There were Cobb and spider webs near our champagne tower and to top it off woke up day two with ZERO hot water. I was furious, I went to the highest level of management TWICE for a refund, we paid $1100 for the weekend and received $100 back. Ridiculous! I've never been to a resort that was so expensive and yet the furniture is old paint is chipping stains on the carpet in every single room on every square of carpet, no sheets for the massage table and our fridge made the loudest most obnoxious lawn mower sound when tried to use it... I wouldn't recommend this place. Management handled my complaint terribly. Worst baecation I've ever taken.
We originally stayed in the Diana's Oasis and while I was taking a shower, I noticed there was black mold everywhere including the walls, ceilings, outside the shower and it was starting on the trim. My husband went to look and he said we are switching rooms. I spoke with Sarah at the front desk and she was absolutely respectful in every manner & did her best to accommodate us. She moved us into a new Diana's Oasis and that room wasn't as bad but still showed black mold. After speaking with Sarah again, she arranged for Liz to check another room, this time the apple room 521. She said she didn't find any old but she herself cleaned the shower again to be on the safe side. Both Liz and Sarah were amazing and genuinely concerned. The first room had an electrical outlet in the bathroom that was broken. There are cracks in the concrete. Also, we wanted to go do the paddle boats but there was only one boat and it was filled with water. Not to mention not one time did we have any maid service. Either way, we are gold members and clearly have stayed many times at all three locations. I've never had an experience like this but am completely disgusted with the room. We were celebrating our first anniversary and even though we got into the third room, it wasn't til midnight so therefore, we literally unpacked and went to sleep so we did lose one night of our two night stay. If it wasn't for Liz and Sarah, we would have left the first night. However, I am extremely upset and would like a manager to call me regarding this. When we were there, we did ask for a manager but they were not working at the time.
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend here for our trip at the Poconos. If you are going some place to have a "nightlife/club vibe" this might not be the place for you. We are both in our twenties but over the bar scene. We wanted a nice romantic getaway and this was perfect for us. The resort is kind of in the middle of nowhere. We stayed in the Lakeside villa which was kind of cheesy but we loved the view of the lake. We loved the size of the room. The bed was comfortable. There weren't any bugs that we saw or anything like that. There's plenty to do here over the weekend. They include the breakfast which is amazing and the dinner and dessert. I definitely recommend getting that included. We went to the indoor pool every night and we were the only ones there. It was great. So relaxing. We played archery, we used the pedal boats, we went to comedy shows every night and listened to the music there too. It wasn't that crowded when we were there but we didn't mind that at all. We got to enjoy each others company and it was perfect for us. My only regret is that we completely forgot to tip our maid and if there is a way for us to do this, please let me know!
We also stayed at the Mt Airy Casino for the second half of our trip and I was not as impressed. This is definitely the place to go in the Poconos!
Pros: Hotel room is spacious Employees are very friendly and helpful Parking is great Indoor pool is practically your own private pool Archery Pedal Boats Trails Entertainment Food
Cons: Room is kind of dated but it's still clean It would have been nice to have a towel rack in the Lakeside villa suite. we wanted to hang out towels/swimming suits and had to do it on the balcony outside instead of in the bathroom like most hotels
The worst experience Ever ! I hated it so much I could not wait to leave. The hotel was so nasty it felt like we were spending two nights at a motel. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
In our room the blankets had holes and the room looked liked it had not been cleaned since 1950. They could of at least dusted the place! There was dust everywhere. The television looked like it was brought in 1999 and it was so dirty. The walls were not cleaned and the mirrors were stained. I would not call myself a neat freak, but come on !! Tons of people come these places and we know why. At least make me feel like I'm getting my money's worth and clean the room or at least get new sheets omg ! My bed covers looked like they were brought 20 years ago!
We arrived late and after our key was given to us, there was no one to direct us to our rooms (outdoor rooms). The grounds security was on his phone paying us no mind despite him seeing that we were lost. We were extremely annoyed by that because it was a long drive there. The bed was supposedly a king bed. Yet, it was round and way to small for my husband and I. Our feet was hanging off the bed. The heat was not working and we had to call a repair man to come turn it on. Winter time and we entered a cold room.
The food/dinner was terrible. Seriously ! We had to go to a diner nearby to get some decent food. Expensive and terrible. I don't mind spending money on food but it has to be worth it. If your Caribbean and know good food this was not it. Salt less, no season just blah! My husband was forcing himself to take it down seeing as how they make you pay in advance for the meal. If your a food person like I am don't bother! The only thing that pleased me was the breakfast. Also the view in the dining room was great. It was overlooking a beautiful lake.
The waitress/staff were pleasant but did not seem happy to be there. Yes, I get that it's a couples getaway, and they are trying to give off that romantic and quiet feel..but come on !! The music alone in the main building where the dining area was would either annoy you or put you to sleep. I noticed that all the couples kept starring at each other and wandering around because they were so bored. You could but so only spend so much time in your room. After a being in a room for so long you want to come out and have fun.
They had a souvenir/sex shop. Not entertaining at all. They have to step their game up if the want things sold in there. We walked out with nothing and neither did the couples leaving before us and the same time as us. You could hear a pin drop in that little store. People were wandering around there after dinner cause there was nothing to do. That was our outdoor entertainment. We ended up just staying in our rooms till checkout the next day.
Not what I expected at all. I could not wait to go home. Again, the out door scenery is beautiful but everything else sucks!
Clean the pools in the rooms people have to get in there after the last guest .as much money as this place costs it should have professional pool cleaners come out and clean the room pools. Went for anniversary would not come back again!
Room was clean. We did have an issue with shower - water pressure was very low and water did not get hot, which was needed after being out in the cold all day. We reported it but no one came to fix it. Jucuzzi tub worked just fine. Maid service did not bring us new wash clothes on 2nd day and did not show up at all on 3rd day. Bed was super comfy. Front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly. Food was good. Entertainment was decent. Located 20 to 30 minutes from some really nice ski resorts.
Nice stay room was nice Diana's Oasis. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The in room pool was neaver cleaned. Water was green and had fake rose pedals (from the last guests) floating at the bottom of the pool. Maintenance guy came twice and I had to point out what he missed.See before and after pictures. Dinner at Sooners was absolutely terrible. I got the dish and chips deep deep fried and my wife got the steak which was rubbery pot roast. Did bother going there for breakfast.Staff apologized and gave me a discount at check out. I would recommend the champagne tower rooms.
Very nice accommodations! We were upgraded to the champagne suite and loved it. My only complaint is all of the taxes and fees they add on without explanation.
This place was great the room was incredible we had our own pool and jacuzzi we hardly ever left the room the bed was very comfortable the decor in the room was very nice and clean. There was so much stuff to do in the resort to mini golf a tiki bar archery and at night we went to the night club they always had something going on at night. We had a really good time I will definitely be back there again.
2nd time staying we went all out and got the champagne tower room and it is great plenty of space to move around has the 7 foot jacuzzi and the pool a very big shower and a big bed this time around seemed a little less comfortable (a lot more firm) but look forward to being back again maybe trying another room next time
Went with my wife for our anniversary. The pool in the room was amazing. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The Jacuzzi was great! The dinner buffet Friday night and the breakfast buffet were too good; I overdid it. Steak and lobster night could have been better (lobster was a little overdone), and some of the gift shop items were a little overboard, but if that's the worst thing about a resort, that's not worth taking away a star, IMHO. Plus, the service was super professional and courteous. Definitely would go again!
The customer service was the worst I have seen particularly those at the check in counter. You ask simply question and the attitude was as if you were bordering them. The rooms I stayed were nice although I think it was over priced. For almost $1,000 I spend staying there, I could have had a better time at half the price if I had taken a ship cruise. There was no activities that I can remember. So, my overall impression is negative
Its a new experience being in that part of Penn. and the timing was just right great weather and their is so much to do around the area, need to spent more time and or come back again BUT NOT BEFORE MAJOR RENOVATIONS TO THE RESORT (OUTDATED)
As soon as we walked in we could see it was not maintained. Old and rundown. A hole in the wall the size of my hand. Sink was clogged, star lights didn't work, the sauna didn't work. The worst part was the chimney was clogged and when we lit the fire log (damper was open) it soon filled the room with smoke while we were in the pool. So by the time we came out of the pool area we walked into a thick cloud of smoke. None of the smoke detectors worked. Now everything we had smelled like smoke, it's late at night and we have to get dressed, pack up and get moved to a nother room. Not a good experience for the money we paid, even if it was free. This is the same thing that happened about 20 years ago when we first came here.
I booked one of the better rooms in the resort. I saw bugs in the room and I m the pool area. Sleeping in the beds made me itch for days afterwards, had to check for bedbugs afterwards. On top of that, horrible customer service. Tracy @ Ext. 1981 was the representative i was speaking to and she was rude more than you can imagine. The resort charged me an abnormal amount of resort/property fees and had no way of explaining what the extra fee was for. I woild not recommend staying at this resort.
The room was very nice, pretty clean. I did not see anything dirty in the room. The atmosphere of the resort is super romantic and fun. The woman at the front desk was super nice and helpful. 5 stars for the room and staff. The food in the dinning room was very low quality, school lunch time foods. The menu looks fancy but the food is not the best. The dinning room also needs updates as there are old carpets and 70 s style chairs and tables. I would not recommend eating at the resort. Other than that the resort is super cute and romantic.
I went here for my birthday and it was so beautiful! I was super excited for the heart shape jacuzzi! I like that they have entertainment too. I love the mirror on the ceiling. The staff was nice. I didn't like all the bird poop around my room. I didn't like the smell when you 1st get there. Glad I always bring cleaning supplies with me. All in all it was nice and I really need to come back in the summer time to really get the best experience.
There is no kind of service they provided ridiculous staff members and the receptionist . Just try another resort better then this definitely and you are worth it
I love the fact that there are a lot of activities on site and nearby. Outlet shopping and dining options are also easily accessible. The wifi strength is good. The rooms are comfortable.
This was our second time back this year we stayed in the champagne tower, last year the Diana s oasis sweet. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, and the amenities just make you feel at home. The rooms are older but the retro old school love vibe just ties it all together. The staff remembered us from last year and everyone was super friendly as always. We are sure to be back in the future we have found our forever home away from home!
Once we arrived our door will not stay closed we had no privacy until security came and had someone fix it once we came back from dinner our door would not open for about an hour we had to have security come and let us back in not romantic at all
Rooms need to be updated. Our pool had a whole in the middle, mirrors in the room wore dirty, shower had hair in it, fans need to be dusted. Food was horrible need to fire the chef. The place is beautiful and relaxing but rooms need to be updated.
Omgggg.. I had an awesome experience here at paradise stream. I went for my honeymoon on November,2019. It was the best experience ever.. I was skeptical at first but I m so happy I chose this. From the check in - check out awesome ... The CXO Patrick was amazing with all the games we played, tours and etc. We will be going back soon. ALL INCLUSIVE BEST OPTION.
We Stayed at Paradise Stream from 8/22/16 until 8/26/16. We Booked this trip very skeptical threw Groupon with all of the mixed reviews, like most people looking and reading. But let me tell you, We Could not have been any happier with the entire stay. We have 4 children and only get away NEVER, so this was really important for us. We Stayed in 2 of the 5 rooms they offer, The Lakeside Villa and The Garden of Eden Apple Suite. Both were beyond Beautiful and Clean! We booked the Room only option, as we are Big-time Foodies (I Cater and Bake) and we are not for being disappointed when it comes to our food. We could not risk that as an extra expense if the resort food was bad, so we cannot speak on the Breakfast and Dinner option they offer (FYI- Other couples (plural) also staying at the Paradise Stream complained the food wasn t worth the price, not horrible but nothing to be excited about(again we can't speak on this, just passing the word from fellow guest as well) and wished they would have done what we did (eat locally!!)), but we did order from Spooner s Little cafe/restaurant (quick food) which was really Good! Their Hot wings were awesome and fries were regular fries. My husband also had a turkey burger, which he says was perfect (he is just as picky with food as me). Also The Bird of Paradise Drink in the Pineapple was very good by the outdoor pool Tikki bar and worth the $15 in my opinion. (Coming from a huge cost cutter) We had the opportunity to visit all three of the Cove Haven Resorts with Key Around Access as guest there (Paradise Stream (where we stayed), Pocono Palace, and Cove Haven) being that we drove down from Upstate NY and was going to be there for 5 days. We also ate locally (The Pioneer Diner, Chinese food, Guy Fieri Restaurant @ Mount Airy Casino, and other hot and cold foods from the wide variety of foods in the deli section at Shoprite and got little things to put in the microwave to heat up in the arcade room to bring back to our room. At Paradise Stream (where we stayed): Check in/out was a smooth process both times (we had to do it twice since we had 2 rooms) Room 1: The Lakeside Villa-Room # 217- We only stayed the 1st night in this room and it was amazing. The mirror over the Bed, the double headed shower for 2, the double vanity sink (his and hers), 2 flat screen TV s, The Big Comfy King sized bed, the star lights over the heart shaped Jacuzzi, the fire place in the sitting room area, and the Balcony overlooking the lake, and at night it looks really pretty looking at all the other villas around. This had us really excited and set the Bar high for the next room. Room 2: The Garden of Eden Apple Suite- Room # 341- This room was everything we expected and more. The Pictures on the website did not do any justice. There was a strong chlorine smell in the room, but, DUH! There is a private pool in there, it is a private room, no windows, closed off space, and it was not unbearable, just noticeable. Nothing that a few scented candles from Walmart or Dollar Tree (down the road) couldn t fix and added extra romance to the room anyway. The sitting room area had a flat screen TV and a heart shaped Jacuzzi located there. Very relaxing to watch a little kid free TV in the Jacuzzi. The round bed looks awkward but is really comfortable and made it hard to want to get out of it. There was also another flat screen TV in the Bedroom and a Very Romantic fireplace too. The private pool was great we used it a lot as well as the sauna. The Bathroom was cool with another double his and her Vanity, although I think the shower was really small as a one-person shower, it would have been perfect to put a shower like the lakeside villa has into the Garden of Eden suite to have that intimate showering experience like we had in the lakeside villa. Also putting a mirror over the bed in the Garden of Eden Suite would have made it even more perfect. Can't wait to see the upgrades after October! Looking forward to going Back! Use the Key around access to enjoy the full experience, We did and Loved it!!!
It was a last minute decision to get away and everything was super, the only issue we had is that we could not use the tub, because when we went to run the water it stunk like rotten eggs it was after midnight and we waited to let the staff know. Obviously it was not going to be fixed that night and we were still had the pool.. We just let the front desk know when we checked out so it could be addressed for the next guest.. it didn't change my stay in anyway, we still enjoyed our time!!! It was spending the time together that counted!!'
I book The stay for two nights only to find out the very next day they had only checked me in for one I had to pay for an additional night even though I was given a discount it was pretty embarrassing to find out that it wasn't book correctly. Also water pressure in the shower was very very weak.
My wife and I had a great weekend. The rooms are over priced but, there was so much to do. We played pool, ping pong, basketball and miniature golf. There was also a nightly bonfire with live entertainment there and also at the bar. The pool in our room was COOL!! The only thing we think should be addressed is the lack of lightning on the paths and also the lack of seating outside of our suite.
Far from Paradise. My boyfriend booked a surprise weekend.. had I had any idea of where he was taking us, I would have objected immediately. The minute we drove in I knew I was not going to like this. It's one of those cheesy places that were popular once upon a time. The staff was nice but the place was simply gross. The sheets were dirty/stained. On the first night we were getting ready to go into bed and when we lifted the duvet, surprise! Had to call front desk, thankfully the lady was nice enough to bring clean sheets herself.. housekeeping was going for the day. Mold all over the bath, i had to go buy cheap sandals to step onto the tiles, and insisted my bf wore sandals too. Also bought some Clorox wipes and lysol to disinfect everything before I touched it. The room smell musty most of the evenings. When we turned on the hot tub the second evening, garbage came up in the bubbles. I left the tub filled and didn't touch it again. I couldn't wait for the weekend to be over and get back to my wonderful clean home.
Obviously with covid there is no entertainment. But my main problem was with heating in pool room. the water was barely warm and the fan I was turning cold air make it very uncomfortable . We asked to turned it warmer which they said they did but no change was felt. Otherwise rooms were clean food was good with double portions available and was delivered in timely manner to the room. Staff was very nice and pleasant.
I expected a lot more from this place based on the price I paid for it. Pictures are deceiving. It's kinda rundown place. Night entertainment was good and food was also good but not worth the price. Saw a lot of older couples here.
We stayed there couple of years ago and it was amazing!! Our room (Champagne Tower) was really clean staff was very Nice the food was good too. I love this place so much I already book my next trip!!!
So this was my hubby's and I 10th anniversary, and we wanted to get away. Since he always wanted to go to the poconos, I decided to surprised him with a two night stay here. As first, the room smelled like someone had been smoking in it. But it was something that had to do with the fire place. Staff were great, friendly and accommodating. Place was very nice, but we had to wipe everything down because of covid 19 and just for our own comfort. Pillow cases was dirty, and food was not great....dinner was decent but breakfast was terrible. After we left, We realized that there was a few restaurants like Denny's and Perkins we could gone to which was pretty close....had a great time, for what we were looking for during these times. But it was a nice getaway other than that!!!
It was just OK. Nothing spectacular about it. It's a "value" resort, so if you expect high end amenities you are in the wrong place. For what we paid it was decent, but didn't feel like much of a "resort" to us. Rooms are nice and clean. Not much in the way of activities at the resort itself, so expect to go offsite for entertainment.
We rented a champagne tower suite for our honeymoon, and stayed two days. The room was dated, but in a kitschy-charming way, and it was definitely clean. Everyone was friendly and couples of all types were welcome, which was a selling point.
The resort grounds are beautiful (heavily wooded and with a beautiful stream) and had we not stayed in March and for such a short time, we would have definitely taken more advantage of the amenities, like mini golf.
The downside was the food. It was adequate, at best, and bland at worst. I had a muffin for breakfast that I would consider good, but everything else was a let down. The best tasting meal we had was a lunch of burgers from the cafe/nightclub, delivered to our room and so not included in the room cost, and though they tasted good, it did give us both pretty intense stomach aches for a couple of hours. Also all the rooms are separated from the dining/nightclub facility, which we didn't realize. We had packed mostly lounge clothes planning to stay in our room and order in, and then were woefully unprepared for having to walk (or drive) to breakfast and dinner. I'm sure that the wait staff thought we only owned one pair of jeans and one sweater each, having seen us in only those things during our meals. Even though the dining was casual, it didn't feel appropriate to wear sweats to dinner.
This isn't necessarily a reason not to stay, but it was jarring: one night, it rained very, very hard, and the way that the room was built and arranged, it sounded like a train was coming through the room. It woke both of us up, and it was frightening; it sounded how people describe the sound of an incoming tornado. We didn't fall back asleep until the rain storm was over.
This is our 2nd time here we had a great time there are a Lot of activities The food is good and we will definitely be back again The hot tub and pool is also wonderful And the staff is very friendly
Our return visit in 9 months was disappointing. Room had bugs, was dirty, pillows and bed were very lumpy. We awoke with body pains. There was duck poop everywhere. Food at breakfast was cold and too peppery. Jacuzzi was a dirty disaster ! Worse thing I wasn't offered a refund or partial refund or a change of room either! Now we are sorry for returning. Maybe we should have seen the room with a pool in it. We feared it would be smelling like chlorine in the room.
It is a cute place where you can have some private time with your special s someone. However the service there was unacceptable. We were pleasantly surprised at or room. It was a little out dated and it did need some minor facelift but from what we saw asst the door it was cute a and cozy. After we walked in we began to notice a few things. The floor inside the pool area seemed to have some kind of gritty substance all over, there was red wax on the other side of the pool. We called to the front desk 3 t times to come clean up the mess but no one ever came to fix the problem. They did send security to check it out but nothing was done until the next morning. When we requested extra towels we had to wait over hours. Never have I felt so ignored. I would never go back there again.
Love this place!!! My husband and I come here at least twice a year for a weekend to spend some quality time together and enjoy each other! Very relaxing atmosphere, delicious food and amazing rooms with pool and sauna is the perfect setup for romance!
I was expecting a little more from a place that is so pricey, we got a 1960's decor from when they first opened, dirty bubble tub (brown residue with bubbles when you first pour water) cracked, broken tiles in the room pool, inadequate lighting, expensive wood log for the fire place, all inclusive food isn't really all inclusive it just means that you're entitled to breakfast and dinner, you still gotta figure out the lunch and if you go to the bar to get food they charge you full price. Don't miss it, probably won't come back.
If I could give no stars I would. First they were snotty with us at check in, didn't give us a key to the room we had to go back and ask for one. Bad attitude. Then we had to switch rooms at 1 a.m. due to no hot water. They did NOTHING to offer anything for our inconvenience. We were exhausted the next day from being up changing rooms. We got home and both had a rash from the unclean hot tub (maybe the over chlorinated pool). I emailed them to let them know about our bad experience and they couldn't even email us back. I wish we had never gone. 800 dollars for two nights wasted. Now we are covered in rash. GROSS! The staff is the worst. Food was garbage. Not worth it. If you are going to poconos stay ANYWHERE else! Bad. Bad. Bad. Rooms look cool online and are cheap when you get there. Terrible.
Update.. they don't care. Surprise. Read comment below.
Me aND my wife went on out honeymoon and got the champagne tower room had no hot water in the room we wanted to take a quick shower before dinner we couldn't we had to go to dinner stinky we came back to the room still no water they then had us repack everything and go to another room which was in worse condition but had hot water the staff was very rude and didn't offer the hours we wasted from having no hot water and having to move and repack I just wanted my wasted hours we lost back and they didn't give or offer anything nor an apology really disappointed with the stay thanks for a bad honeymoon! !!!
Room was dirty, cobwebs, dirty mirrors, nasty stained chairs, the room had strong chimney smoke smell, moldy toilet paper, burn marks in the tub, game room smelled so bad we couldn't use it. The only positive from our stay was the food was good and the staff was very friendly.
Surprisingly awesome. Was not putting much stock in the Groupon overnight voucher my husband purchased, but we found the accommodations to be clean, perhaps a bit dated however still a very romantic and couple pleasing for a quick overnight, or even a few days. We did not get to do everything offered. Would absolutely go again
When we first drove up, I was a little discouraged. The overhang needs cleaned and the ceiling needs painted and I was overwhelmed at the 22 signs posted all over the doors and entryway (but I can t stand clutter). The lobby was the same: cluttered, too many signs, too much directional signs, just too much clutter. I was super worried but that was the end of the issues. The rooms are clean, cheesy romantic, but very quiet and private. The staff was phenomenal and the food is good. Alcohol service was a little limited in our opinion (please learn the 3 ingredient skinny margarita and maybe a few more beer choices) but overall it was a great experience. The villas are spread out nicely through the area and it is well cared for. Other than the initial bad impression, this place is a keeper. Would go back and don t let the entry way deter you from staying here.
We had a great holiday weekend here! When we were driving up to our room, we weren't too sure about the appearance of the circular buildings haha! All worries were put to rest once we got inside! The room was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the personal pool and sauna! The resort is also right down the road from the casino, which is a plus!
Lots of construction going on and site did not mention it. Room was entered twice without knocking by construction workers or whomever was working on place. Nice staff tho.
Loved the place it had the right ambiance and they really work well under the new circumstances. Last day there breakfast was delayed so bad that it arrived after checkout, they extended my stay for an hour but the food arrived 20 min before the extended time I had to rush and eat and leave.
Room was nice, listed as newly renovated but the only renovations we noticed was possibly the new flooring. Really nice to have the sauna private pool the heart-shaped tub in the fireplace was a lovely touch. First night's dinner was steak and lobster which was only prepared mediocre. Not much flavor for either. Steak was well done instead of med/well, lobster was rubbery. Breakfast buffet was good, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage plus so much more. Weather didn't permit us to bike, play outdoor sports or to walk. The band and comedians were excellent. Would come back if I had the opportunity. Game room has ice and free water by the cup along with a microwave. Nice indoor pool and two hot tubs.
Wonderful stay, few minor issues that are being addressed. Really terrific place to get away and enjoy luxury. Has additional amenities to keep you occupied when in between the pool, whirlpool, dry sauna, Jacuzzi, steam shower, massage therapy( in and out of room). The dining hall has an excellent selection of food, where the servers & Host are so friendly and helpful.
I had fun this is place i would go again on relax time... Everything was excellent especially the food and drinks... The bartender make you feeling like you family...l
Service was good, food could be much better, facility need to have a better maintenance and improvements , heart shaped Jacuzzi should be larger and deeper, we did not use it, we are here now and we are not gonna come back here anymore
My wife and I came here for our 12 year anniversary , we purchased the room through Groupon. We stayed in Dianas oasis which was nice. We had a lovely heart shaped Jacuzzi, a pool and fireplace. Not to mention the wonderful round comfortable bed. The room could've been cleaner and there were ants around our Jacuzzi but we still enjoyed our stay.
