The thing that keeps my husband and I coming back are the amazing rooms! The tubs, pools, and saunas included makes the room stay like staying at a spa! Its a wonderful get away for couples. The dinner options are great, and the events provided are entertaining. We attended during an off season (November) but there was still plenty to do. My only gripe would be with the staff. They all did their jobs well, but seemed unhappy to be there.

Waste of money, the place is poorly kept.. mild dew all over the room. I checked out within 5mins after checking in. They really need to shut this down, I am sure they are violating health codes
This place is really nice but our room was so cold that it was unbelievable. We had to leave and turn the heat up on high to be able to stay in the room. The pool water was suppose to be heated but it was cold. We called and asked for help but no one ever showed up.
After about a 3 hour drive we were excited to check in, freshen up for dinner and enjoy a sit down dinner together. Got to our first room, there were roaches crawling above the bed area. Explained this to the front desk who asked us to take pictures, only to have Annie suggest that roaches are a "brought" insect and she continued to insist there are no roaches in PA. They apologized and a new room was given. Get to the 2nd room and the keys did not work. We go back to the front desk, I had my fiance go in this time and he stated he stood there for 5 minutes, no line, had to tap on the counter before Annie would acknowledge his presence. He told her the keys didn't work. She gave him this long explanation about they key process and how it can take a while to register before giving him a new set of keys. We finally get inside of the 2nd room and the lights above the Jacuzzi don't work. My fiance again went to the front desk, Annie stated that they were booked that day and she will see what maintenance can do but we would not be getting another room. Which we weren't asking for. We just wanted a room free of insects, not to be insulted and a room where everything worked. Maintenance came and said they will be able to fix the issue. We finally made it to dinner, no time to freshen up. We get back to our room, no lights. At this point we didn't care we more than anxious to enjoy the time we planned for each other. Before we could get out of our clothes, maintenance arrived. Stayed for about 20 minutes cutting into our already very disrupted stay. Fixed the issue and left. We showered and slept the first night. The morning rolls around and we found the sink backs up. Come back from breakfast and decide to settle into the Jacuzzi, we are not able to keep the jets on, one of them were broken shooting water out of the tub. We tried adjusting the fixture, nothing helped. The second day, the neighbor took full advantage of the Bose radio provided in the room and we could hear his entire selection of his favorite songs. This carried on from lunch until well after dinner. We were done complaining after the first day where so much time was taken out of our trip. In all my years as a travel agent and all the advertising for your property I would have never imagined to have this experience. I do not in any fashion wish this experience on anyone I encounter. Our stay here was truly unbelievable. Save your time, money and your travel.
This place was a bit dated, but full of great activities- archery, bocce, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, shuffle board, hiking trails, bikes, fishing night life. Very enjoyable stay. Excellent breakfast buffet. Near antique shops.
My boyfriend and I celebrated our three years together and we truly enjoy the whole experience. The Diana's Room was beautiful, we enjoy the jacuzzi every day that we we stayed(3 days 2nights). The activities were ok, and the food could've be better, but the quality time that we had and the peaceful atmosphere was great. We went during the week so there was not comedy entertainment, never the less there's activities and games to have a good time.
I would recommend it and we will go again next year.
Love Paridise Stream our 4th time here and still a great place to relax with your loved one peace and quiet. The food was Excellent the staff always great, the place is always clean. Activities not bad. Thank you keep up the great job. Love you guys see you next year!
The room was amazing, we got this room for an ertic photo shoot ( I'm a model) and it was intrupted my the from desk, we had ordered food for my husband and I and the photographer the driver told the front hey there's three people, normally this is fine In any hotel yet this place made up a rule about not letting that many in.. So a women came to the room and ruined the shoot. The next morning the staff apologized for the rude behavior asking for us to come back, for another shoot we will not. Further more I got an infection from unclean water and my husband got sick..
My wife and I have been going to this place for the past few years because of the location, the food, the night shows and the team of great servers at the bar and the dinner. My last stay at the resort ended with a serious disappointment I can't find the right words to describe. Minutes before we head out to the reception to check out, my wife's wrist watch could not be found. I pushed the bed to the side in order to locate the watch. I did fortunately, but to my surprise I also found shingles, roofing materials and pieces of other construction materials, indication that no one's been under the bed and other parts of the rooms for years. In my humble opinion the entire resort is in need complete renovation so people can get what they're paying for.
...ALWAYS LOVE THIS PLACE....ATMOSPHERE, ENVIRONMENT, FOOD, SRRVICE, ROOMS, AMENITIES, GUN RANGE NEARBY, RIDE HORSES NEXT DOOR, CASINO UP THE HILL, POST OFFICE AND SUPERMARKET NEARBY.....EVERYTHING IS OUTSTANDING.....POOL IN THE ROOM AND JACUZZI IN THE ROOM WITH FULL BATHROOM....A.C. REMARKABLY ON POINT ON THE HOTTEST DAY'S....TERRIFIC GENTLEMAN HOST FOR BREAKFAST & DINNER....AND BILLY O AND THAT MAGICIAN LOVE THEM....CXO'S AND FRONT DESK STSFF ARE THE BEST.....RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYONE TO STAY AT LEAST 3-4 DAYS TO ENJOY LIFE CHANGING STRESS FREE LIVING.....
Me n my wife were very disappointed. The room was not sanitized at all. My wife brought her own Clorox wipes n disinfectant. We wasted our wipes cleaning the room. I personally took all the dirty wipes to the lounge. It seems like they were not surprised at all. We asked for our room to be clean the 3rd day. It wasn't. We had to complain about it. U think due to covid they would have been more careful n sanitized more. They gave the excuse that due to Covid they were short staff n didn't clean. We were not compensate properly.
Very welcoming, personable and accommodating staff. Many of the staff got to know people as well as it was easy to get to know other guests. It made our stay very enjoyable. I am already trying to find a weekend in the fall to return.
The jacuzzi nozzle was leaking ..There was no microwave..The heated pool had a dead wasp inside of it the mirrors were not clean at all. The resort also charged a $25 resort fee each night I went to the nightclub even though I spent a ton of money at the bar. All in all I wasn't satisfied for spending $1000 that I worked hard for and my partner did not want to come back.
Me and my husband stayed here for our anniversary. Everything was good except our room was very dirty. We were going to complain until we ran into Donavin he's a worker from housekeeping he came into our room and clean the jacuzzi change the sheets and mop the bathroom floor and made our room perfect. He even gave us extra towels and washclothes he was so friendly he even told us about the town and where to go shopping and where to eat. Our overall stay was awesome I would highly recommend this stay to anybody
Paradise stream is just that "Paradise". We celebrated our 28th anniversary. We can't with to go back. The garden of Eden room was fantastic. We never want to stay anywhere else. The staff is excellent. The food was delicious. We loved everything except the coffee in our room. Bring your own or get the complimentary in the lobby. We recommend staying here.
I would not come back. the room was not cleaned properly, had the previous tenants belongings in it. nasty! we got the all inclusive deal, but was slighted for breakfast. Arrived at 10:55 am, the buffet was broken down and they brought out burnt food and expected us to eat it. the waitress was nasty. We told the front desk of my complaints and all she said was "oh. wish you would have told me sooner". for the money we paid, we could have went somewhere else that was much better.
We stayed in a lakeside villa, and it was awesome. The front desk ladies were very polite, courteous and very helpful with any questions we asked. Our room I feel was the best, it was separate from most of the other rooms and pretty large in size. It was nice having a deck to sit on and enjoy the sunset. The property is very well cared for and they were quick to shovel walkways and throw out salt when it started snowing in the morning. The only complaint I would have is the water pressure is a little on the weak side. My boyfriend and I are planning on returning in the summer for another weekend getaway.
We visited overnight and the pictures we were sent on our confirmation were not a real depiction on how out dated and old the rooms are. The service at the resort was great and the food was mediocre at best. The highlighted features such as the swimming pool in the room, sauna , and hot tub were the highlight of the trip. The linens on the bed were old and the overall experience was dated back to the 80's. For the price we paid it warrants a 2 star experience.
I had a great time. I took off two stars because the room smelled musty and it needs an upgrade. I felt like i was in the 90s. But it was awesome having a pool in the room!
The wait to check in was a bit lengthy, waited in line for a good 20 mins. We stayed in the Garden of Eden. The room was nice but very outdated. There were cobwebs throughout the room and there was grout and dirt around our jacuzzi. There was even a hole in the wall. The carpet left our socks disgusting. We got the all inclusive which I could have saved my money! Dinner was extremely bland and the breakfast buffet had clearly been sitting for awhile as our food was hard. The staff were all super nice and attentive. Over all it was a good experience but a bit overpriced for what your actually getting.
My wife and I had an awesome stay! It was a very relaxing weekend! The food was great with incredible service as well. There was nonstop entertainment with a lot of couples activities. I definitely recommend any couple to visit if your looking for a nice quiet getaway.
We loved the new years party and all the food during our stay. The staff was wonderful! However the upkeep of the rooms show very little care in the hotel. Which is sad because it really is a wonderful place and could be even more amazing if it was shown a little love. The beds are sooo uncomfortable like a rock. All they need to do is invest in some mattress padding and it would go a long way. The entertainment was fantastic. The staff was amazing. Next time I think we'll just buy the tickets for the new years dinner and show and dancing over a room.
Stayed overnight great food great service. Great room loved the strawberries and rose petals were beautiful! All the out door activities were great. Loved the water fall and bike ride, they even provided bait for fishing. Only downfall, 2 different people running gift shop and die to that did not get to do archery because second girl gave it to someone else because she did not know we were there first. Overall great experience and room was very clean.
I have never been to a resort with such bad service and rude, unprofessional staff. The bad experience began at the front desk when we first go there being ignored by the receptionist and extended during dinner service when we were served over cooked stake and raw lobsters.
Food was good, the entertainment was very good, loved the bands & the comedy shows. Stephanie was a good waitress, & at the nightclub, Maria was excellent, made a lot of suggestions.
Had a great time. Nice quiet, peaceful getaway for my lady and I. HOWEVER, they must do something about the insects and pest control in the room. I totally understand that they are out in the woods but it was ridiculous. By day 2 flying ants and moths all around the room very uncomfortable.
Being new parents we wanted to get a night away. The room was not clean there was mold and the tub was broken it would not fill up. We went to the game room and the token machine was broken so we really didn't get to enjoy anything that we paid for besides the bed. We could go anywhere for a bed. I was very disappointed in this stay. We have been there before and had a great time. Terrible experience this time.
The room was beautiful and having your own private hot tub and jacuzzi tub was also a major selling point. Not much interaction with the staff or any food on location so I can't speak on that but I will say the reason for the 4 star review is the fact that in the morning we actually had an ant infestation in the bathroom. When I checked out I brought it up to the counter person and he made a remark to his coworker stating "our friends are back". Not even a apology or anything. That did rub me the wrong way... I feel that could have been handled differently. Spending the money I spent if I was working there I would offer a break on the next stay, even if they never returned. The grounds are kept clean and parking was available in front of the room. I would go back.... just hope for a better experience.
These resorts are an annual event for us. You will not find a more fulfilling experience for couples. The food and entertainment is excellent and the themed rooms cannot be duplicated. The beautiful location and many activities will take-away your stress (at least for the weekend). We always have a great time!!
My husband and I were guests at Lakeside Villa this past October. I never knew what Bed Bugs were until now!!! I notice these weird bug on my pajama shirt . I thought it just came in from outside. Today, I am sitting at the laundromat scalding all of my clothes while a exterminator is getting the bugs out. I enjoyed my stay. But sadly I wont be returning!!!!
Nice place but it is dirty. The shower has mold. The pool in the room had dead flies/insects around it. The minibar is empty. Ask for new sheets upon arrival. Nobody was at the lounge/bar. Its very quiet and nice. Horseback riding is on the same street you can walk there. The wine tasting was ok for $10. My bf and I did archery, played golf and the nature walk and sat around the fire place outside. The gameroom is nice also must it has a really strong musty smell couldnt stay in there. Ice machines on the grounds. Bring your own bath bubbles for room. Food was great especially breakfast. You serve your self for breakfast and for starters during dinner. Staff is accommodating and really nice. Would go again.
Our stay was better than expected. Pleasant unexpected 2nd honeymoon spot. The mini fridge was amazing, kept our beer and wine as cold as they could be without freezing. Having our own personal villa with a nice view of the pond was excellent. The place itself had a little bit of everything, but if you wanted more its close enough to other activities and restaurants. We will definitely be going back in the future.
This wasn't our first time at The Stream but we were really impressed with some of the changes. We stayed Sunday - Tuesday in a Garden of Eden Apple and really enjoyed our stay. The bed was good, the room was clean, and the A/C worked well! But I really want to shout out the meals, especially the dinners! Breakfasts were buffets, but you could order specialty eggs, pancakes, omelettes from the wait staff. (shout out to Meena - great personality and great help!). The dinners, however, .... WOW! We had table service both nights we were there. The food had always been pretty good at The Stream, but this time the dinners were OUTRAGEOUS and GOURMET-quality!! We don't know if there is a new executive chef on staff but whoever is behind the excellent quality of the food and the recipes being offered -- KUDOS! If you visit on a room-only plan, do not just write off the food here -- ask what's for dinner! You could be very surprised!
Awesome staff!!!!! Food could have been better, more of a selection. Rooms were clean but definitely needs to be updated. Overall...a great place to stay.
This was a much needed break for us to just relax and enjoy each other's company in the perfect setting. We love Paradise Stream most of all out of all three resorts. Since we haven't been there in over a year, there were a few nice surprises. The food was very good and we especially enjoyed the Chophouse meal on Saturday night. This weekend was a casino theme and the whole place was decorated in a fun and playful way. We relaxed and had fun and went home well rested.
The worst stay that I ever had. The first room that I was given had mold on the front door, wall next to it and the carpet. When I went to the front desk to tell them, the young woman there offered to send housekeeping to my room to clean it. Smart move. When her supervisor heard about it, she told her to give us a different room. She then gave us a room that was all the way in the back as if she was punishing us for complaining. I have been to Cove Haven Resorts about 15 times. This is the worst employee that I have ever met there so I am wondering what training she had to go through. I am also considering whether I will ever go back there and spend my money. I am assuming that no one will ever read this complaint much less at least respond back to me, but I am so angry that I had to write this anyway .
The rooms are very out dated and a little on the unsanitary side. The champagne tower jacuzzie tub was dirty. The pool however seemed clean enough. There are a lot of on site activities. I know we won't be back and I don't think we would recommend it either. It seemed very pricey for what we ended up with.
We stayed at Paradise stream in July. Upon arriving for check in we're were told our reservation was for room only after we paid all the extra fees for the all inclusive dinner and breakfast. After we were on hold with the booking agents for and hour and half the front desk manger finnaly gave us a coupon to include dinner. We checked into our room which was a champegne tower suite. We have been wanting to go here for our anniversary for the last three years and we finally made it. We we're so disappointed when we got into our room. Light flickered to come on and the room had a very bad ssmell You could see ceiling tiles that we're painted over to hide mold. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls the tables were covered in dust and there was alot of dirt build up on the carpets. Our champegne tower tub was missing parts that control the Air flow for the hottub and it made a terrible noise which ruined any romantic atmosphere. Our heart shaped pool had broken tiles and and was dirty and slimey. There were holes kicked in the walls and the door wouldn't latch and when you could get it latched with the deadbolt it had a half inch gap. Ok so we figured after complaining and saying there was nothing that could be done because our room was the best one in the class and the hotel currently was getting ready to go under rennovations wow really it should be condemned. So we headed to the dinner we figured we would at least try the food. We got seated the staff seemed nice. It was a buffet. That was great at least we could get all we wanted. We went up to the salad bar the lettuce was brown and wilting. The hot food line had mostly seafood items which I saw most guests left on their plate so we passed on those. There was one chicken dish which was empty the whole time we were there and one beef dish wiich was mostly all fat someone didn't trim the fat at all from it before cooking it. Then there was a whole pig stew. Seriously who seves a whole pig on a buffet head and all. Yeah if I was a luau ok that works be fine but it was supposed to be a romantic high end dinning. So taco Bell here we come. Wow taco bell was great and fresh and right by the resort. Next we decided to try mini golf it was small and not very challenging but fun and clean. The we went paddle boating. It was a good experience excpet most of the lake side villas looked like they were crushed and out of service talk about ruining the atmosphere. We safely got docked and went to try the archery. Archery was fun and helped get out the frustrations of the day. The outdoor pool seemed nice which we didn't try and the indoor main pool looked redone and really nice but we didn't try it. Seems like the tried to clean up all the common areas to hide what bad rooms they had. We went back to our room for the night the bed was missing the blanket and was very hard and uncomfortable. Again. It was very dirty by the bed. We wish we didn't even have to give a one star rating it was terrible. I recommend staying out of your room and up all night maybe you would not be grossd out and have a better time sleeping in the outdoor pool. We always strive to be fair an accurate In our reviews.
I had to adjust my review because someone did contact me directly. She assured me she was taking what happened during my stay serious. She apologized and compensated my husband and I. This does not take back my stay unfortunately but hopefully they are able to make improves so no one else will have to deal with any of the below issues!
Unfortunately a lot went wrong during our stay. The shortened version is... All staff members were rude and nasty (except the spa they were amazing). No one was helpful. Our room set up was horrible and the online photos were misleading, the fireplace was located in the pool room making it impossible to enjoy the fireplace. The room was dirty there was wax left all over the hot tub from the guest before us. Stains on the floor (looked like body fluid). We were unable to get any towels or wash cloths after 5pm (the front desk did not even have them available for pick up)! We order mixed drinks they tasted like sewage we did not drink them but still had to pay for them. We waited for at least 30minutes to be served both Friday and Saturday night! We had to find our server in order to close out our tab (we could have just walked off but we found him so we could tip as well). A staff member kicked our door open entering the wrong room by mistake!!! He did not announce himself or anything just flung the door WIDE OPEN with his foot. I was naked he said sorry and just let the door shut on its own. When we tried to talk to someone about our stay we were blown off and told to keep the room keys as a sauvior! A lot happened needless to say we will NOT stay again. NO ONE HAS even apologized to us. It is not cheap to stay there and for all these to happen and no one to even care is horrible! We spent most of our time off the premises spending our money elsewhere because of anything.
Lovely place, more then what I expected. Great breakfast, dinner was very fulfilling, large portions. Clean rooms, very spacious activities. Feel very comfortable and safe stay. Will definitely return to the Diana Oasis room.
when we went at front desk to check in, both FD agent was too busy in chatting with each other, i waited and then she called me to assist. housekeeper came in the morning and said do"you need towels" i told her i need full room service not only towels, she came in just put towels and did bed, NO vacuum Not even pick up garbage. I told her to change coffee maker because it stink and she did not care to come back with other coffee maker. room was smells distinctive odor that is unpleasant. The picture what we see online and actual room condition is totally opposite. toilet sheet is broken, AC & Heating unit is too noisy. door lock is not functioning , condition of room is very very poor and room atmosphere is unhealthy. i had rashes on my back, hand and legs because of unhygienic and unhealthy room condition. we have food inclusive in room ,I am vegetarian so I told chef to cook vegetarian food from the menu, he served fried rice with vegetables, that has sugar syrup. I never eat in my life sweet fried rice, it test like rice pudding not a main dish. i told server to call chef so we can explain what exactly we need, server came back and told us chef is busy and cant come. i haven;t eat food and send back and told him to cook without sweet test, chef put hot sauce on same dish and serve me again. it was not even eatable. Me and my husband both went out for dinner first night. second day again we requested to front desk to call chef, she rudely replied "oh we have vegetarian menu u pick from this, you don't need to talk to chef" my husband got upset and force them to call chef, finally chef came , he was very polite and listen us carefully, however that night food was not good at all. second day also we went out for dinner. i did not see any hospitality at this place. only i enjoyed night club has comedy night.
I had a great time at Paradise streams resorts. My room was Immaculate, romantic and there was plenty to do their. I enjoyed the food immensely and would recommend this experience everyone
My husband spend like almost $400 dollars and the room and bathroom was freezing I think for the money we all paying they could do better in the rooms.
Our stay was so nice in the champagne tower suite but the jacuzzi was not clean and I had to clean it. The room needs renovation as the roof was leaking water, the food quality and quantity was not as expected specially for the price and for the thanksgiving night. For such a price I expected better quality and food.
With the newly issued Covid restrictions of not permitting entertainment indoors the resort tried to accommodate it's guest with the removal of resort fees, meals being brought to the room and a free movie rental. The room was clean and had no indication of bed bugs. (I check every location I intend to stay.) The kitchen was accommodating to a gluten allergy and personal preferences. The room is in need of updating. The sauna has old equipment that malfunctioned. The bathroom had leaking faucets. The faucet on the champagne glass hot tub did not extend into the tub far enough. When filling the tub it caused water to spill onto the tile surrounding the tub. One the first night of our stay is way relatively windy causing a down draft in our fire place. When we lit our fire log smoke was pouring into our room. I am surprised that the smoke alarm did not go off. I did not like that necessities (eg. paper products, coffee, soaps) needed to be requested with the front desk. If supplies can not be stored in the room then such items should come daily with out needing to ask for them. Depending on when you call (while meals are being delivered) it took time to get what you need. On one occasion I went to the desk in the morning and had to call twice to get what I needed. I was then told that the items were placed in an inconspicuous location 2 hours prior. When I did get my items they had not been sitting outside for 2 hours. If you failed to perform your task take ownership of it. Don't make your guest feel like they failed in searching for them. In summary this location fills the need but did not meet my expectation. Your travel dollars could be spent in other locations that go above and beyond.
The pictures on their website DO NOT do their rooms justice. They are extremely outdated & unkempt. The pricing is outrageous for the outdated room that you will be getting. Our room had duct tape on the ceiling, a huge gap between the door & the frame so we were unable to enjoy the downstairs portion of the champagne tower suite due to the huge draft that was blowing in. The toilet in our bathroom was leaking, there s an outdated Bose stereo in the room & when we asked for an auxiliary cord we were told we had to buy our own because people were stealing them(what s the point of having my credit card on file) we also asked for new towels which we never received. DO NOT waste your time purchasing the food package, our dinner the first night we stayed was horrendous & almost not even edible. I ordered salmon which was hard as a rock extremely way over cooked, it came with asparagus (I didn t even attempt to try it) looked like it was boiling in a pot all day. Breakfast isn t anything exciting- a simple buffet breakfast. The best experience we had on our stay was at the spa. We went to the bar both nights & they were way understaffed for the amount of customers there were, people were complaining & it took forever to get drinks & food. I never thought I would be one to leave such a bad review on a resort but this stay was just unacceptable for the amount of money we paid. Majority of the staff were friendly & understanding except for a woman we voiced all of our concerns with. I will never ever stay at this resort again & I most definitely will not recommend this place to anyone.
Second time staying at paradise stream. The first time was in the dead of winter and we stayed in the garden of eden room for a weekend. Pros Room was big, really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The food from Spooner's was good. Con's, the room was a bit dated. Simple things like carpet and paint would help greatly. Over all that trip was a great success. We just came back from our second trip. Stayed in champagne tower room this time. The champagne tower was really neat. Con's, the room was really dirty. Bugs smashed on the wall. The carpet and furniture were really stained and beat up. The other big problem, this was summer and the room was to hot. We had the air on max, but it was just boiling hot in the bedroom and too hot in the pool area to enjoy ourselves. We are 30's and in shape people. I was disappointed the last visit. I Thought the room was neat but everything else was really lacking for the price this time. We ended up leaving at 6am that morning due to room temp being way to warm. They billed us twice for room service. Seemed very pricy this last trip and not as friendly as during the winter. Not sure if I'd make a return trip again after our last visit. Which is a shame.
