The dealership was quick to diagnose the problem with my 2016 Ford Explorer but, I was without my car for 4 days. It also took 10 days to get an appointment. I also asked about getting a rental but was told they didn't have any to give me as they were all being used. The reason I went to a Ford dealership was because it was close to my house and the work that needed to be done to my car was warranty work.

It s great to find a dealership that s willing to work with you. I ve been to a few other dealerships that wasn t as easy to work with as it was with Baystate Ford. They were very informative and made the process easy. Not once did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. The whole process went smoothly. Thanks again guys for helping My wife and I out with buying a new vehicle.

I brought my F-150 in expecting having to make an appointment to have an oil change. They took it right in, serviced it, made a couple of recommendations for future service, replaced my worn windshield wipers and I was on my way within 45 minutes. Great service!
Update 6/30/16: Broken tailgate latch, they ordered it and had it custom painted and it was ready for install in 2 days! I brought my truck in with no appointment for the install, they took care of it and I was out in 45 minutes. So far, I love this place!

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING - This review is strictly for the service department. After buying a FOCUS RS that they have serviced since new I called the dealership and spoke with the service manager today. I asked him to simply lookup the work they have done and to let me know if the head gasket recall was performed and to send me a copy of the paperwork (offering to pay as well!!!) to my email since I have the documents. The gentleman I spoke with (claiming he was the service manager) was the absolute worst person I have ever encountered at a dealership in twenty two years of buying cars ( I also have over five years experience working at dealerships). Not only did he lie to me that he couldn't tell me what work was done because of "warranty laws stating confidentiality of work under previous ownership" but he was also extremely rude and hung up on me and ignored all following calls. This "manager" not only doesn't have the ability to help a customer, he also is a lazy liar who shouldn't work with the public at all. I would avoid this service department at all costs and would NEVER let them work on my car. If your close to CT go to TASCA ford for service work as they not only have a fantastic store wide staff but have top notch quality work. I would give them 0 stars if possible.

I found the right vehicle at Baystate Ford. I dealt with a salesperson named Yuris. I was most impressed with the Sales Manager, Mark Goldberg. Make sure you make no assumptions about your potential vehicle and ask many questions. The salesperson was young and omitted some details - I discovered this after the sale. However, the Sales Manager made things right. Now, I m enjoying the perfect car. Anthony in the Service Department also provided amazing service when delivering my car. Thanks, Baystate Ford!

The Service Department are scam artists. I came in...
The Service Department are scam artists. I came in for a rear right tire vibration and squeling from my brakes. They charged me $129 for a "diagnosis." I dropped my car off and got a rental. 3+ hours later I got a call indicating they needed "further diagnosis." They now needed to remove the driveshaft to further investigate, which is another $350. I declined due to the nature of the work and the amount. I wanted to immediately get a second opinion elsewhere.
When I picked up my car, on the "free" multi-inspection report they indicated that they did not take off my tires. Chris from the Service Department confirmed this when I asked if my wheels were even taken off my car. He said they weren't. That means they never inspected my brakes (let alone tires, wheels, or even suspension). They wrote down the tread depth of my tires, which are incorrect and I have proof. They diagnosed my car by only test driving it, confirming my issues, putting it on a lift, and using their eyes. No where on the invoice or report did they say what they did as a diagnosis other than what I stated. Also, no where on the invoice did they write down my complaint of the brakes.
Furthermore, on the invoice 5 issues arose that had nothing to do with my brakes or tires. I had my car inspected at a Quirk Ford on the last week of May and none of the issues they were reporting were reported.
In the end, I wasted my time and money. I paid $129 for a half-assed "free" multi-inspection. I came back with 5 mysterious issues and no solutions to my original issues. I have proof pictures of both reports that I can upload.

All and all the personal that I had to deal with were extremely nice and easy to deal with. There was no pressure like I've felt with other dealers and the salesman is still helpful even when I have a stupid question. He doesn't brush me off and say it's all in the manual.
Good people to deal with, I would definitely return if the need arises.

My fiance and I felt very comfortable walking into the dealership. The staff was very friendly. There was no pressure to buy anything. Our sales rep Scott M made the whole buying process easy, once we decided on a vehicle. We got a 2014 Ford fiesta with a great warranty and a great price. I would definitely go back anytime.

Spent over 40k on a beautiful used powerstroke the sales staff was great, but upon bringing the truck home I realized the Spare tire lowering rods, bottle jack and lug key weren t in the truck , after calling and asking about it they assured me it was there when they took the truck in on a trade and proceed to make it sound like I was trying to scam a kit out of them, they then quoted me over $300 for the kit that should of been in the vehicle upon purchase, I ended up holding onto the title to my trade in hostage before they finally gave me the kit that was missing from my truck, I wish it didn t come to that but in the end they did make it right, it just left a bad feeling after a great initial purchase

Person on phone was very pleasant and informative. Made an open appointment to get squeezed in the next day. Spin arrival I was greeted pleasantly by sevice writer at front desk. Throughout the day I received two phone calls from the mechanic regarding my free brake check and alignment ratio (respectively). He was informitive but not pushy to make a sale. After establishing I didn t want any other services but the one requested I was told to come pick her up . She ll be ready soon.
No hidden charges at checkout and actually a rather pleasant conversation (not car related) with the gentlemen behind the counter. I ll definitely be back or at least call for a quote to compare prices with other shops in area.
With the stellar customer service, if they have the same price or price match a local repair shop I d choose them based on my positive customer service experience!

I brought my car into their dealership a week ago for a simple passenger airbag recall and literally the next day my car broke down. Now while they re saying that anything to do with the air bag wouldn t cause a break down the issue with my car is computerized. Something easy enough for them to disrupt without knowledge forcing you to come back to them to be fixed. When I called and asked what happened no answer was given and not even an offer to scan the car to see what could possible be wrong. Instead they want to charge me $180 just to find out what s wrong and lord knows how much to fix the issue. Smh will never bring my car here again.

Went to Baystate to find a new car after the car i was driving died in a rain storm ( engine seized) i only had 2 DAYS to find , buy and get a new car on the road . We went on a Thursdays 30 mins before closing and Julie A was FANTASTIC ! she took her time with explaining everything and making sure my boyfriend and i were on the same page as her through out everything . The next day I ended up leasing a 2017 Ford Escape and i could not be happier. everyone we talked to while we were there were great the financing officer Toni was amazing and the general manager ( i forgot his name ) is the friendliest person ever , he saw me in the service bay the following week waiting to get my remote starter and took time out of his day to come over make sure i was okay with everything , the remote starter installer ( i think his name is Mike ) was great ! the whole experience was AMAZING . I look forward to leasing with them for many years to come.

Just bought a used vehicle from Sam at Baystate Ford. Everyone at the dealership is friendly and I never felt that pressured feeling like when I walked into other dealerships. They leave you with a more personalized feeling, which is one of the reasons I bought my vehicle here. The price for the vehicle I was looking for was also less than other dealerships in the area. My 2015 vehicle looks brand new. Sam contacted me after my purchase to make sure I was happy. And when I had a question, Sam was quick to return my call. Thank you Sam! :)

Good sales team.Clean, comfortable facility. Works hard to help you not sell you. I was searching nationwide for a specific vehicle and Baystate had by far the best price and local for me as well.No high pressure sales, easy going people.Online pricing closed the gaps between competitive dealerships,so customer service can be a deciding factor if prices are similar, this place won hands down for me after about 6 weeks of test drives and negotiations. Just try here first, save some time and headaches listening to the same old you know what.

I'm absolutely baffled how I can be told contradicting statements, and when confronted there go to lines are "you are being rude" and "that's how dealerships work". Sorry I'm not going to accept misleading information without question, there's plenty of other dealerships that's how buying a car works.

I had my car for service over there. They tried to make me pay money for something else that not even related to the car issue. Make up some stories about labors and stuffs ask me to pay $129 for diagnosis. When they give me the receipt with diagnosis code, they reported the real issue on the paper not what they told me before. I guess they can't lie on paper because you can used it against them if you go somewhere else for a second opinion. I just pay them the money and told them straight up I am going to bring my car somewhere for a second opinion because I won't be dealing with you guys. FRAUD! That's a shame to be dealing with liars and money hungry people like that.

I have a 2016 Ford Explorer Limited Edition. to mechanical issues from the manufacturer. My car was in this repair shop for two months and 13 days. They didn't have the transmission on stock. It took one month to get the transmission and the rest of the time to fix my car. I had to call them every 2 weeks for an update. And every time they said to me "In two days ". I was in this dilemma for more than a month. Out all this time nobody called me once from the repair shop . I'm the one that had to called them. They didn't even to want to give me a rental car. Even though it's a manufacturer imperfection. They only allowed 7 days rental car out those 2 months and 13 days that my car was in the repair shop. That's what You call a BAD,BAD customer service .

Bottom line, I got the car I wanted for a fair price.
What it took to get there was't a great experience.
After picking out the car and the usual stuff, we got to the point of processing the paperwork. The "out the door" figure was about $2800 higher than it should have been, with no explanation.
This is after taking sales tax, title, registration, etc into account. Nothing was listed on the purchase and sale agreement explaining this difference.
When pressed on the issue, the sales guy stated that this price included their extended warranty. I never asked for the warranty and they never mentioned it, they just added it to the purchase price. I told them to remove it. After this adjustment, the price was still higher than agreed to even after taking taxes, etc into consideration.
I then talked to the sales manager who told me that the price included taxes, title, reg and fees that could not be changed. The best lies come wrapped in truths.
Obviously taxes can't be adjusted but "fees" certainly can be.
Call them "delivery fees", "processing fees", or my favorite "ADM," they're all pure profit for the dealership and 100% negotiable.
Some states limit these fees to as little as $50. Most states, like Massachusetts, have no limit on the "fees" dealerships can charge. Don't be fooled.
ADM stands for "additional dealer markup" in case you ever see it on a P&S agreement.
Anyway, the sales guy actually mentioned window etching as one of the fees. WINDOW ETCHING! I remember a sales guy trying to pull that one on my mother in 1978, at least it was a new scam then, and she didn't fall for it. Nobody should fall for that garbage today, ever.
So eventually, after haggling and more b.s., it became clear that the sales manager was hitting his threshold for negotiating and claimed he couldn't go any lower. I then walked outside to "call my wife," pretended to call my wife, surfed the net for a while pretending to do math, and went back inside and told him to knock $600 more off and he had a deal. Voila! deal made.
Then there was the pickup.
Sales guy calls and says the car is ready, "when do you want to come get it?" I told him whatever worked for him considering the whole Covid19 scenario. I was willing to pick it up anywhere from the next day to the next week. He said "whenever you want" so I said the next day.
The next day comes and I call to verify the car is ready, I'm told it is. I restated, "I'll be there in an hour and the car will be ready correct?" The response was, "we'll have it detailed and ready for you."
So I get to the dealership and am asked to sit in the waiting room. 40 minutes later, no one has spoken to me, and I have to go looking for the sales manager to ask where my car is.
He has no idea what I'm talking about. He makes a call. Says sales guy will be with me shortly. Sales guy eventually shows up and brings me to finance guy, makes sense, I still have to give him the check.
The finance guy tells me I can't take the car home today even though it was him who told me 2.5 hours earlier that it would be ready in an hour.
Long stoy short, I wasn't going to stand for that, and I left with the car that day.
To sum: I got the car I wanted for a fair price, but they tried to rip me off along the way with the "extended warranty" and "fees." At best they had had communication issues on their end which made the whole process less than enjoyable.
I will not be returning.

The buying process was great, I never felt pressured. I met with Chuck when I first arrived and he was great right away. He listened to what I was looking for and asked questions that helped me chose the best truck for me. I had some issues when it came to the service side of things I was annoyed with. After writing the initial review the manager came out to speak with me while was waiting for my truck and asked what had happened and how he could help makes things better. Having someone ask what happened and help resolve the issues made a big difference.

I brought my truck to Baystate Ford s Service dept...
I brought my truck to Baystate Ford s Service dept because it would stall only when the truck was running hot or in hot weather.
I explained all the details to the Service Advisor (Emily) and emphasized 3 times that it only happens when the truck is hot and I very recently had the oil changed in accordance with the mfg instructions. And if the Mechanic needs to reproduce the issue they would need to run it for a while to get the truck hot. I got a call later that day saying the truck s code was P0022, and the Mechanic thinks there is sludge in the truck causing this code. It would cost at least $600 to start with, to tear down the engine to look for Sludge and other issues. I asked if there were other options for trying to correct the issue and Emily said No, the mechanic thinks it s sludge .
So I politely declined the work and looked up the code to see what it meant and found multiple potential causes: Wiring problems; Failed timing valve control solenoid (stuck open); Incorrect camshaft timing; Continuous oil flow to VCT piston chamber (which is dependent on Oil Pressure). Some of these potential root causes are easily tested or eliminated without needing to tear apart the engine to look for sludge.
When I went to pick up the truck I asked Emily if the mechanic checked for these other potential causes. She looked down at the write up paper and said the Mechanic said he thinks it s sludge
So this is where it gets bad. I asked again if the mechanic ever ran some of the simple tests to eliminate any of the less costly potential causes. She just repeated the mechanic thinks it s sludge . So I said, I guess that s a no then? . I asked why the mechanic didn t do or even recommend these low cost tests or options and she rudely replied back again because the mechanic thinks it s sludge . So I asked if the mechanic even test drove it to try to reproduce the stalling issue and she said no because the mechanic is pretty sure it s sludge with her tone and body language clearly showing that she is aggravated from me asking questions.
So I said to her, I still don t understand why the mechanic wouldn t try to eliminate the easy stuff, She said why would he if he thinks it s sludge? So I said back, a good mechanic eliminates the easy low cost stuff first. Then she rudely replied So now my mechanic is a bad Mechanic . Now she was putting words in my mouth and abandon all sense of customer service. So I left.
I took my truck to another Mechanic who suggested an oil additive to increase the thickness of the oil because there wasn t enough oil pressure during hot weather. It cost me $10 for the additive and it made the stalling issue go away completely.
This was a very simple fix rather than to tear apart my engine looking for sludge which definitely was NOT the cause but definitely would have been the most costly way to try to fix a simple stalling issue.
Lesson learned: From now on I will have the Auto Parts store read the codes for FREE instead of wasting $120 dollars for a Baystate Ford Mechanic to do the same thing. Then I will ask my own mechanic for advice. Guaranteed my mechanic won t be as rude or unhelpful as Emily was. And guaranteed he won t try the most costly repair before eliminating the easy stuff.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with them.
My disappointment was that THEY LACK CUSTOMER COURTESY.
Here's why: I called them on Friday afternoon to change an appointment from 12/30/17 at 10:15 to that afternoon about 3:30 p.m. because a had better free time to test drive
a car I was interested.
It took me about 1 hour and a half of driving with the traffic, so I arrived there about 3:47 pm. While I was walking to the front door there was a staff checking on something on the entrance and as I approached he just turned back Inn and didn't say anything to me, no greeting, then I went right to the front desk in front of the entrance and there was no one to assist me there, so I kept standing in the front desk for about 10 minutes and nobody approached to assist me. Then I did some walk around the hall, looked at some cars, walked through the waiting area then came back to the front desk again and stayed there for a little bit. Then I went to the bathroom and came back. When finally I saw that nobody was going to assist me I went outside and tried to look by myself for the car I was interested on the parking lot, and I found it, But I was so upset with their lack of attention that I came to my car and drove back home about 1 hour and a half again.
They basically had the car I wanted and I was going to buy it but as they didn't give a minimum of attention to me, as a customer while I was there, I'm not going back again.
They didn't even called me yet at least to see if I was going to show up.
Too bad unfortunately.

Horrible dealership. DO NOT GO. All started with looking at a truck. Nice truck way over priced, over NADA by $3-4k. Test drove it, etc. Went to talk money with the first salesman. Told him I was all set with financing and I could come back the next day. When I told him my offer which was $2500 below what they we asking, he laughed, and said no way. Said that he could take a few hundred off but that's about it. I told him thanks for his time and they change their mind to let me know. He responded with "We won't" and laughed again. I walked out.
A few days go by and they email me asking if I had given it any thought at the asking price, I made it clear to them that I have a budget and I really want the truck. Now they took the truck in back in the beginning of May and the numbers were so close. So I called the dealership a few times asking them if they could move at all so I could get closer to my budget number, they said "NO". On this particular truck they are making about $6200 on the sale if sold at their number. The last time I called I spoke with the sales manager and we talked again and he told me the price wasn't moving at all. Then added more charges onto the truck to further me from my budget amount. Told me if I can't afford it to stop calling. Stated the price wasn't going to move a penny.
After the dealing with how rude the people were at this dealership and the total disrespect I was given, I've had it. Usually when you are in a business you do everything you can to make the sale or please the customer and I got to tell you they didn't even try. Let's just say they won't take my money nor anyone else's that I know. I will refer everyone I know to go to another dealership. It's a shame how money hungry this dealership is.

Was trying to purchase a vehicle prior to my return from deployment in middle east. I informed the dealership of my situation. they assured me that they had done this in the past with soldiers and wouldn't be an issue. i filled out credit application just to be told the manager would not sell the vehicle to me being out of tht country. so in short I took a hit on my credit no vehicle to show for it. the manager would not even budge on the price to make it worth my while to send my wife there to buy it. I wish I could rate higher but this dealership is horrible dont bother. I wouldn't be suprised if they made a couple buck off my credit app.

Quick lane is no longer quick. Walked in to get oil changed and tech said 2 hrs. He came back to tell me in 1 1/2 hrs. that car was ready.
Checked my car and the inside kick plate on door was dirty as usual. I usually say something and they clean it, but this time I was in a hurry.
Also no oil change sticker on windshield this time. Had to go back and ask for it.
Always something!

This place is HORRIBLE, every time I bring my car in for service I leave frustrated, several times I have made an appointment only to be told half way thru the day that they have not looked at it yet, always the same excuse that someone called in sick and they had cars left over from the day before. I made an appointment for 8 am yesterday to have my windshield wipers repaired assuming it was the motor, only went there because it would have been covered under the warranty otherwise I would have gone to my local mechanic, I dropped the car off the day before, at 2 pm they still had not looked at using the same excuse as always, at 3:30 pm they called and said it was all set,was not the motor the wipers just needed to be re-aligned, when I got there I had to wait a good 20 minutes while they talked to the service technician to see what work was done and how much it was going to cost, my bill was $129.00 for "Misc wiper repair" and an additional $29.00 for "misc waste disposal"!!!! No good review for this company, if my car was not under warranty I would never go there.

The person who dealt with me was a nice person. But that is about all I say Good about Bay State Ford. In January of 2017 I purchased a new 2016 Ford Focus immediately after driving a few weeks a felt a hiccup in the Transmission. I brought in for service and was informed Ford had tried an experiment with a new transmission and everyone had problems. At that time they replaced Transmission and vehicle drove fine. Now I drive a lot of highway miles for work and with 2 years of driving and 80,000 the Transmission went again. Ford only has a 60,000 mile power train and the Transmission was not covered. Although the people at the dealership knew the transmission on this vehicle was an issue and Ford themselves knew an issue as they had settled a major class action suit for owners with faulty transmission. Now you would think Ford would had just done the right thing and warranty knowing they had faulty transmission but they did not such thing. So then you would think Bay State Ford knowing they basically sold a car with a Lemon Transmission would give a hand with repair. At the very least give a break in Labor on the good faith knowing this vehicle transmission was faulty from the get go. But nope they charged a whooping $900 for Labor. Now after all that they don't even clean the car before return. They inform me of their interest free credit they offer to help with expense. But then have me in their dealership for over an hour and never helped me. I had eventually gotten approved for credit by applying in my phone only to have to wait another half hour to check out. So what did Bay State give me for my trouble absolutely nothing. No free oil change no wash nothing. I will say there were two workers the lady I dealt with Stephany and a quick lane employee that tried to help. But I regret while they were trying to help the guys in office my guess is managers who had ability to help but did nothing were basically making crank calls on their phones and laughing like little kids. So I regret to say Bay State will never receive a good recommendation from me and I would not send any business in their direction. Just a complete horror show.

Took my girlfriends vehicle here for service and was told that they would NOT perform service on a vehicle over 10 years old with more than 100k. I told them that it had been serviced at the quicklane before but was told it was their policy and the service dept. would not touch the car. It would be nice it I knew this BEFORE I went there. Made the appointment online and no mention of this "policy".
Edit: (in response to the reply) I brought the car in for what I believed was a wheel bearing issue. I checked in, gave one of the service reps the keys and he went to get the mileage of the vehicle. Once he saw the mileage, he declined to work on the car. I don't understand how someone can claim that there were all these supposed issues with the car when it never even went on a lift. As far as all those warning lights go, none what so ever. Judge for yourself in the photo I added.

I was extremely happy with the service and professional attitude of everyone at Baystate Ford. They were fast and efficient. I left there paying a lot less than if I d taken the word of the previous dealers service department that I visited earlier that day.
Thank you Baystate!!!!

I've had multiple issues with the Quicklane Department. As convenient as the location is, I'll drive farther to get service that I can trust. I got tired of the Quicklane sales people constantly changing prices and not honoring advertised prices.
Edit: Now, I go to MG Auto Repair about 3 minutes away here in Easton. Read their reviews and you'll see why they're so good.
Response to Baystate comment: Unfortunately, after trying to unsuccessfully sort out my final issue with your staff, I forwarded all of the information to the Better Business Bureau. I hoped they could help with my complaint. As you can see from your page on the BBB website, you declined to work with them or to help me with my issue.
