My wife and I had a very enjoyable buying experience at Autonation Subaru West. Despite it being a cold Saturday afternoon...we found a car of our liking...and the buying transaction was virtually painless (outside the now having a car payment after 11 yrs. of no payments). Allen and Joe were great and easy to work with. I definitely recommend Autonation Subaru West

I always appreciate the service I get at Autonation Subaru, on Colfax. They have successfully modified their service to meet the need to keep themselves and their customers safe during Covid-19 restrictions, while maintaining their level of service. I will continue to take my Subaru to them.
I am sorry to say this was not a pleasant experience. I even ended up with a migraine. I made it very clear that I was on a fixed budget and that this was the first dealer I had stopped at. Once I drove the car, I fell in love with it and the salesperson informed me that they had package deals that could be added on. Well, when it came time to talk money, one of the packages, with three additional add ons was added on at a tune of $999.00. I explained that I could not afford the additional cost. So, once again my salesman disappeared to talk to someone higher up. When he came back he said they would take off 2 of the 3 offerings in the package leaving me only $333.00 more to pay. I then said well then I guess we don't have a deal. He tried to make me feel guilty by saying, " after all the time I have spent with you and the test drive you are considering going somewhere else". He picked up his paperwork in a huff and madly walked away. I am very disappointed that they would not knock off the extra $333.00, which original was introduced as an option. I will not go back here or recommend this dealership to anyone. P.S. I am a female.
I made the appointment to fix a defective Takata airbag. Auto-nation failed to tell me my appointment was not for specific time allotted to repair the defect-instead they made me fear my car would not be repaired in 2 days. I had not been told I would need to catch a shuttle home or that my home area was over the limit for the shuttle. I was told they were repairing 15 Takata airbags/day or more, and "they'd get to my car when they could". They used time to examine my car and do a safety check and then tried to sell me on a power engine wash for $1800. Their shuttle driver was not helpful, telling me he "could not guarantee" he would be able to pick me up whenever my car was finished and then telling me he could, confusing me. I did not feel safe in that shuttle with his driving. The service guy who checked in my car came back to me in the waiting area to tell me that he had to empty the glove compartment (I found he had emptied two other spaces as well and dumped everything in a dealership bag (rather than the dealership warning me about this at the time I made the appointment) They are disorganized, unhelpful, and provide poor service. I will not return to this dealership.
This was our first Subaru purchase and normally I would rather go to the dentist than deal with all the headaches and time it takes to purchase a vehicle. But honesty this was the best and easiest experience I have ever had buying a car. The reason being was Esteban, he was the most laid back, easy to deal with car salesman I have ever experienced. We initially came in around 7pm on a Friday night to test drive a Outback. After the test drive it was pretty late and we told him we would like to think it over and come back in the morning. Normally from past experiences they would hound you and pressure you to buy right then and there and not want you to leave. Esteban on the other hand told us "absolutely please go home and think it over" I was a bit shocked as I figured he would want me to commit right then and there like most salesman do. So after thinking it over we returned Saturday morning and purchased the Outback. The rest of the process was easy and pretty straightforward. But I can honestly say the reason we purchased from Subaru West was because of Esteban and his no pressure attitude and the way he was honest with us and made the experience a joy. Will defiantly will recommend friends and family here for future car purchases.
I was advised that all the work that had to be done - replace airbag under recall-new rear brakes and various belts and hoses replaced- would take most of the day. I said I only could stay for 5 hours. They really worked hard and got me out in 3 hours. They came out and told me about the progress about every hour. My car is 16 years old and I will keep bringing it to this dealer for service. Still in good shape, worth the money to keep it safe.
I have been to a couple different Subaru dealerships but was not compelled to purchase until I went to Autonation West. Ben Nash and the team there were very thorough and courteous to my needs. They took very good care of me. Happy to have done business with them. I love my new WRX! Work with Ben and you will not be disappointed.
Best car shopping experience ever, no pressure applied, very relaxed environment. Zach went out of his way to help with every detail. When I collected my car Zach took the time to review all the main features of the car with me, first time I've had that experience. I also received a follow up call a few days later, it was so great to see that the experience did not stop when I drove away in my new car, they genuinely wanted to know if I had questions, needed help in any way. If you're thinking of buying a car you should definitely visit Zach at AutoNation. Oh, and the Subaru Outback I purchased is absolutely awesome. Thanks Zach and AutoNation!
Terrible experience, salesman was more about going home then trying to make a sale, plus got low balled for a trade and walked away, not a place I'll go back too
Bought my first Subaru last week and have had it now for 5 days. I absolutely love this Outback, this is by far the best car I have ever owned and giving the model history I plan on driving this one 300k if all goes well. Edwynn was my sales guy and I told him that he is now my go to guy for this car's future and service. My experience was good had to give up some wants but got a lot in return. The service and desire to help me was the best part. I know that what I spent my money on was well spent, I feel great about this purchase 100%. No buyers remorse on this one. I'm excited to drive it and the feel/ appearance makes me want to be in it. It is the smoothest ride great power and safety features galore. I'm so glad I made the choice to visit Autonation Subaru West and meet Edwynn and Chris in finance. Chris was the icing on the cake, he wrapped my car in a bow of Protection to help set me up for future success. Thanks again to Chris and Edwynn really I can be difficult to deal with. Awesome place awesome cars no doubt I will continue to do all my business there.
We had the best experience ever buying a car recently at AutoNation Subaru West. Our salesman, Tim Andrews, was very not pushy and went above and beyond and found a car perfect for our daughter.
Last week I went in for an appointment, and I just had to let Subaru West know how thankful I am for their wonderful customer service!... Autonation Subaru West has taken care of my car for three years now, continuously providing the best costumer service possible. Every time I come in for a service appointment, a service advisor is quick to come over and address any new concerns I have about my Subaru.. The staff is always so attentive, the waiting room is nice, and the bathrooms are always clean! I will continue to come to this dealership for the years to come! Thanks for being the best!
I just wanna give a shout out to the amazing Service Team at AutoNation Subaru West. I went in yesterday for a recall and also decided to run a diagnostic on my fan motor that powers my air-conditioning and defrost. The service team was incredibly helpful, professional and even went so far to make sure that I was not overcharged for some thing I may not need. I really appreciated that! Thank you so much!!!!!
It took my husband and I about 6 months to narrow down what type of car we wanted and after many test drives we settled on the Subaru Forester. Working with Noel at Subaru was easy and no pressure. We test drove, still thought about it for a few weeks and then emailed back and forth with questions until we decided to pull the trigger. On the day we picked it up, we called to confirm they had the car we wanted, he held it, and then we went in and spent maybe 2 hours total signing the documents and going over the features of the car. Noel was personable and informative; I would highly recommend him!
I d give it five stars except for the irritating robocall at 8:59 am on Sunday reminding me I had an appointment Tuesday. There were several reminder emails as well but at least the phone wasn t ringing with those. The checkin was fine and I was told an hour and a half for a 25 minute software recall update. The work was actually done in 30 minutes but I had already left. When I got home I had to immediately drive back to pick it up.
The facility was clean and the service people were nice.
Buying a car can be a painful process but I had a great experience here. My salesman (ask for Esteban) was an awesome guy, allowed me to test drive five vehicles throughout a week without ever feeling pressured to buy. He went above and beyond to find the exact car I was looking for and even picked me up from my house to drive me to the dealership after I had purchased the car.
Solid service, performed recalls, serviced car, replaced tires...all in just a few hours. Great customer service, kept us up to date on everything being done to our Crosstrek. We drive this car around the country, AutoNation Subaru West is our fave dealer.
Amazing and they worked with my bank even after leaving the lot I will go back here for my next new car Tim flathers will help you find the best car for your price range
Everything went well except I felt there was too much pressure on trying to persuade me to buy extended warranty which would add $7,000 to the price of the car. It's okay to offer it, but too much pressure. Plus a lot of what's in the warranty would be covered by insurance anyway. Shannon was great though.
Bought my car here a few years ago and and had several services done here. The sale crew are not my favorite. They can be pushy and honestly a bit stuck up. Not a fan of asking for something told they need to talk to their manager about it and then watching them go back and sip coffee and read the paper for 5 min never once pick up the phone or talk to anyone then come back and say no. Lame. The service dept is pretty good, just expensive. Don't love being told that things need an immediate fix when they don't need fixing at all. The parts dept is great though. Prompt friendly and usually have what I need in stock.
"Dealer" servicing -- maybe legitimately -- often gets a bad rap, but this is one dealer where the service department shines brilliantly. I have had several turbo Foresters serviced here over the course of a great many years. Folks like Assistant Service Manager Ken Clements and Advisor Matt Cooper just always seem to go the extra mile.
Recently, my 2014 Forester had experienced some issues with ascending the mountain foothills and check engine light notifications that led to determining several of my platinum spark plugs had literally begun to melt. Although technically a bit out of warranty, Ken called Subaru and doggedly arranged - unbelievably - without cost to me ,for a total replacement of the engine assembly. AutoNation provided me a new loaner without charge and sure enough, Subaru completely swapped out engines and like that, I had a fully functioning vehicle without the worry of even more problems. This is but one example. Although unlike the truly high end brands, you won't get your car washed with a routine service and you might have to pay for a loaner, Autonation Subaru West and its employees like Ken and Matt and Adam consistently seem to step up, deliver and do so with great courtesy and efficiency. I highly recommend them.
I would give more than five stars if I could. Ryan made the whole experience of finding and buying my new car a total pleasure. He went above and beyond my expectations and even offered at one point to meet me in highlands ranch in the middle of a snow storm so I could see the car. Ryan understands customer service and I cannot say enough about him.
I've thought about this a bit... it's hard to describe the difference. All of my other car buying experiences have had an element of playing a game or maybe some sort of bizarre performance art. At AutoNation Suburu West, it was just a civil negotiation. Yea, I spent a lot of time sitting around, but most of that was while they were evaluating my trade-in. I asked for $1000 more on my trade-in and got it. And, there really was no negotiation needed for the Forester, they offered me a fair - no - fantastic price well under dealer's invoice. I'm sure the fact that it was just about the last 2017 Forester on the lot had a lot to do with the offer. My salesperson, Allen S., was very chill, and had a really good grasp of all the features on the car and how they function. He gave me a pretty good review of these despite the fact that he had another customer waiting. One thing I would suggest... with all the electronics and technology on today's vehicles, auto makers should start offering classes. I suppose Suburu probably has videos online...I have not checked that out yet. I would go to an actual class, though, but I suppose that's old school!
We are repeat customers at the Auto Nation Subaru dealership. Our first experience 5 years ago led us to go back. Once again, we were treated with respect, listened to, and matched with the perfect car. Brad Mazur, our sales representative listened to our experience with Subarus, our current needs, and helped us make a great choice with the Outback. He taught us a lot about the updated technology and explained the differences between the Outback and the Forester. He didn t sell us, but matched our needs with the Outback. Working with Brad was a perfect experience. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. Thank you, Brad Mazur and the entire staff at Auto Nation for making our buying experience fun, informative and successful. We ll be back!
Outstanding - my son just moved to Denver from Ohio three weeks ago. We had his Subaru Crosstrek serviced locally at our Subaru dealership in Ohio. Unfortunately on Sunday after trip to Breckinridge his clutch failed on I70 requiring a tow. As a certified vehicle the 24/7 assistance was very efficient. Based on existing reviews, I had the vehicle towed to AutoNation West in Golden late on a Sunday evening. Monday morning I received a call from Service Advisor-Trent. He did an outstanding job of diagnosing the problem and quickly worked the car into his schedule. He told me he could get the work done on Tuesday. To my surprise, he called Monday afternoon and said the Crosstrek was ready for pickup- a completely new clutch assembly done. Subaru of America also worked with Trent at Auto Nation and was able to provide some additional financial help toward the overall repair cost. Trent embraced my conversation with Subaru of America and kept me updated. An outstanding experience - definitely found our new dealership in the Denver area. From a corporate to the local experience, Subaru is outstanding to work with.
Ever since I purchased my 2002 Subaru Forester I have trusted Trent Gilliard, Assistant Service Manager, to recommend only what it needs for service. I now have 246.000 miles on it and I am happy with its performance.
While driving down the freeway, my sunroof shattered scaring me. Shortly afterward I called the service department at AutoNation Subaru West to schedule an appointment to have it fixed. They said it would be about 4 days until the parts were all in, which worked for me. On the phone I said I thought it should've been covered under warranty as there was no one around me on the freeway and the glass bowed up after cracking, indicating to me there was some thermal expansion that shattered the glass. The representative said they would have to look and see when I brought the car in but that glass doesn't usually shatter on its own. When I brought the vehicle in, someone was there to help me immediately which I appreciated and after going around the car said that it would be $710 and the sunroof wasn't covered under the warranty. After trying to understand the warranty coverage with the representative, a manager came over and said he had received approval to do a one-time good-faith repair and they would cover it. I was appreciative and thankful of this as there was little if any indication that the glass was shattered by debris. They finished the repair early and picking up my car was a breeze. I do wish that when I came in the manager had taken the case earlier instead of me discussing with the other representative about the warranty. In the future I will probably return for repairs/maintenance that I can't do myself.
We brought our car here for the Takata passenger airbag recall. It was a full day appointment, but I had to call to see if my car was finished at the end of the day (they said they were just wrapping up. ) I asked to get an appraisal on the car when I left it in the morning. However, when I picked up my car, no one was aware of this and no appraisal had been done. There were plastic pieces on the floor of the passenger side where the airbag had been changed. In the multi point inspection report I requested, it listed that there were a couple bulbs that were out, but no one called me to get them replaced (however, the service people insisted they did call me, but neither my wife or myself had missed calls or messages on our phones.) On a positive note, their shuttle service and driver were awesome. Every time I take my other car to its dealership for service I get a complimentary car wash. Not here. We bought our Subaru from AutoNation 104, and the service there was much better than this location. I would not recommend this location and of course I m not coming back.
Update: Whoever replied to this review asked me to get in touch with him (instead of calling me - they have all my info - already not very professional...) I tried a few times, and left 2 voice messages to the GM before I could finally talk to him. I believe he did not call me back because there is a total disconnection between who replies to the Google reviews and the GM...Dave, the GM had no idea of my review let a lone the poor service I received at this location. I had to waste my time telling him about my experience and he politely apologized, that was it. It was awkward and embarrassing. This location sounds and looks to me like a total mess, people seem to do whatever they believe is best, without following main directions. I still do not recommend this location and I'd stay away from them. 10/28/20: I changed my service to Mike Shaw a little far away but totally worth it. I recommend them. Please also see the picture below as another reason to visit them.
It's auto repair is very very slow. And they don't help give you any other information other than what your insurance gives you. So they dont help you or work for you they work for your insurance company.
The AutoNation Subaru West team was great. With a few hours of seeing an Outback on their website, I were driving away with my new car. The team was very knowledgable and efficient.
Sarah Foster! Great sales woman! She got me in approved my loan same day! Signed paperwork and delivered my car as promised couldn t get any easier . If you ever need a car ask for Sarah at Subaru AutoNation! I love my Mercedes S550!! Will be looking to buy more cars from you in the future !
The people that work at AutoNation Subaru are friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and, while waiting, one of the sales people gave her a "Chewbaru" toy.
The reason I am only giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the service took an hour longer than the quoted time. We were there for 2.5 hours after driving 5 hours from our mountain town for the appointment. At the end of the visit, I was also asked to give a similar review to this one and the technician watched as I filled out the survey. This puts customers in an awkward spot and does not allow them to feel comfortable giving an honest review of the service.
Overall, I would use AutoNation Subaru again for service and sales.
Excellent service by Michael Burke, this was the best auto buying experience I have had. Great team work and I recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Subaru.
We could not have had a better experience. Good selection of cars and the best sales person we have ever encountered. The process was quick and efficient and actually enjoyable. I highly reccommend Mitch and the entire dealership!
Bought my car from here. Friendly staff. Fast service. Highly recommend this dealer if you are interested in buying a car. I had a ok credit back when I bought my car, these people got me a approval. There main goal is to help you as soon you walk in the door
Just bought a brand new 2017 2.5i Limited Outback from Dennis Sharon and the Subaru team! My experience was amazing and everyone was very helpful along the way. This is the first brand new car I've purchased and the first hassle free experience. Thanks everyone at AutoNation Subaru West.
The only reason my review is two stars and not one is because of my experience recently with Yvonne in the service department. It would be as low as it could possibly be if she had not actually taken the time to listen to me and do what she could.
I bought my Subaru here in 2013, I loved the experience initially but it has since become a nightmare.
I purchased an extended warranty which I have now learned comes with a $100 deductible, that little fact was never mentioned to me when I purchased it. I was told that it extended the bumper to bumper warranty that came with the car for an additional allotment of miles and years... not that it was a different warranty completely. I had Subaru install a sunroof in the car before I took possession, when I purchased the extended warranty I asked specifically if the sunroof would be covered under the extended warranty and he said "oh the warranty on the sunroof is actually 10 years and 100,000 miles." COMPLETE LIE. The sunroof is wired wrong and likes to open on its own when I am driving. I finally tracked down the company who handles the sunroof warranty. The warranty is 3 years only good for... so now it's going to cost me $125 just to have it looked at.
I purchased a theft deterrent/VIN etching option and I was told the etching had been completed when I picked up the car. A coworker of mine had the same service done to her car and showed me the etchings... when I looked for mine they were nowhere to be found. I took the vehicle in and talked to my salesman (Dan Carne) he acted as if I was lying and insisted that it was completed. But when I asked him to show me just ONE of them he couldn't do it. He reluctantly said he would take the car down to service and have it done that day, however when I got the car back there were two small stickers in the windows but no etchings... on my third visit back about this situation, and after the gentleman I was speaking to accused me of lying, he agreed to come out to the car and surprise!!! He couldn't find them. He finally agreed to refund my money for the service, it's been TWO YEARS and I still have yet to get my refund...
I left a review on Facebook and their social media rep reached out to me to say the GM wanted me to call so he could talk to me about my experience. I have called THREE times, left multiple messages and it's been TWO WEEKS! I have yet to hear back from the GM when I have been told that he has been in the dealership.
I am so beyond frustrated I can't stand it. This dealership has done so many things that are wrong, they have flat out lied, and they will not do anything to make it right.
I recently leased a 2016 Forester from Chuck Hannold at AutoNation Subaru West. Chuck was easy to work with, no high pressure sales tactics. I was expecting a lot of car sales games but Chuck was very easy going and friendly. The whole process was easier than I expected and now my wife may be getting a car from him, as well.
I was very disappointed that the dealership couldn't change my oil without spilling oil on the engine. I'm still smelling burning oil 600 miles after the oil change.
Called this place in Oct of 2018 about a used 2015 Kia Sorento. The sales guy and I went back and forth on the price by phone and the sales guy said he could come down a little bit in price to what seemed like a fair price. I find out the guy I spoke to was busy so I dealt with another sales guy who told me they can't haggle on price. This was strange to hear after what the first guy had said, probably to get me in. I test drove the car and after the sales guy told be about the 20 or 30 point used car inspection (can't remember how many points he said it was) inspection they do on all used cars, we went for a test drive. The car drove ok but the brakes were shot (Apparently the brakes are not checked in their detailed used car inspection program.) He said they would fix them. After they fixed them I hired someone to go to the lot and do a pre purchase inspection. The pre purchase inspection revealed damage on the undercarriage that appeared consistent with some sort of accident. mechanic took pictures of all this and included it in his report to me. The muffler was dented and smashed, canister mounting bracket missing and cable tie used to secure it, parking brake sheath torn open, left side undercarriage rock guard broken and missing a large chunk, fuel stains on gas tank which may have been from gas leak, fuel tank was dented and support strap was bent, spare tire was flat. The brakes had been fixed by this dealership so I imagine someone would have seen all of this during the brake repair or during their 20-30 point used car inspection. I would never go back to this place. Yes I should have posted this 6 months ago, but when I finally found a reputable place to find a good used car it reminded me how important it is to share our experiences. This place has some good reviews so it's possible the people I dealt with just were not good and honest people. Hopefully they are no longer there.
My car purchase went smoothly and Dan Carne at Autonation Subaru west did an excellent job helping me find a car to fit my needs. Great service, and refreshingly transparent with costs and what fees are negotiable.
I recently leased a Subaru Legacy and Viktor Biefel was the salesman that helped me through the process. Even though the dealership was super busy (it was a Saturday) Viktor let me go for a test drive right away. After we settled on a color, down payment and monthly payment that I was comfortable with, I waited quite a while for the finance manager to go over the lease agreement. During that time Viktor showed me the Service Department and customer waiting area (with wifi, TV, and Starbuck's coffee). We also went over the features and set-up/operation of my new car. Viktor even threw in some all weather mats for the longer than normal wait. Overall, the salesman went out of his way to get me a good deal and even followed up after the sale on a lease payment question I had. I'm very happy with my new car and now have a trusting relationship with AutoNation Subaru West. Ask for Viktor and I'm sure he will treat you respectfully and honestly.
This review is severely delayed (sorry Adam), but better late than never. I had some repairs needed and the Subaru West crew exceeded my expectations. Service manager, Adam was not only helpful and professional, but he actually saved me money! Not to mention my car runs perfectly once again! Thanks to everybody at Subaru West!!!!
Very unhappy with my experience at AutoNation Subaru West. Took my 2010 Subaru Forester in for scheduled 105,000 mile maintenance. My first experience was with service writer Michael who checked me in. Part of the 105K maintenance is replacing the timing belt. He said they recommend also replacing pulleys and tensioner, extra $480. The 105K service already costs $1,100 so I declined. I cited that maintenance manual did not recommend. I considered this just an attempt to upsell unnecessary repair. Later that morning another service person, John, called me and again recommended replacing pulleys and tensioner. He admitted they had not looked at car yet so recommendation was not because of obvious need to repair. He quoted $600 extra price. Again I thought this was just another attempt to upsell unnecessary repair. I'm used to a little upsell pressure at dealer but this was most extreme I've experienced.
But that was only the start of my bad experience. When I left the dealer in the morning, I discovered I was missing my sunglasses. I thought maybe I had left them on the counter at dealer. I went back an hour later and the person I spoke with checked around, I thought fairly thoroughly, and could not find them. OK, I left. At the end of the day when I picked up the car, I asked both cashier and service people if sunglasses had showed up. They checked around a little bit and said no sunglasses so I got my paperwork and went outside to get car. Service driver pulled up with car and I noted he was wearing what appeared to be my sunglasses. (destinctive suglasses, Hobie Riptide) I asked him about the glasses and he immediately said "I found them" and handed them to me.
The sunglass thing is almost funny but on top of upsell experience my trust in this dealership is gone. I've bought cars there and regularly do my service there but no more.
Our experience with AutoNation Subaru West was very good. Safety measures were taken. The appointment was easy and quick and our technicians did an excellent job.
They were very helpful and allowed me to test out multiple cars before landing on the correct vehicle for me, as well as find the correct payment option. Overall great experience!
I had a great experience at Subaru AutoNation West. I worked with Sarah F. to lease a car and was so pleased with how low stress and helpful the entire experience was! I have already recommended Subaru AutoNation West to some family members because of the experience. Thank you for helping me get a car that I love!
Very pleased with our buying experience. We ended up with exactly what we needed and we were treated very well by Brad and Ryan. If you are looking for a Subaru, AutoNation is the place for inventory and customer service.
The service was outstanding as always. One of my headlights had gone out and I arrived without an appointment, since these things happen without a warning. I had to wait a while, but my light was replaced, my battery, brakes and fluids were checked and I was on my way. I know I can count on this team to keep my Subaru in top shape. Thank you for such wonderful service again!
TIRE AND WHEEL PROTECTION IS COMPLETELY WORTHLESS. They sell you on the idea they'll repair/replace any tire with road damage - reasonable enough. What they don't tell you is that you need to replace all tires on an all-wheel drive vehicle (pretty much everything sold at AutoNation SUBARU West) every time you replace one, or you'll cause damage to the vehicle. That means the warranty will cover replacement of one tire, but you'll need to pay for the other 3 out of pocket anytime you have an issue. I've now had this happen to me twice in two years. A SUBARU DEALERSHIP SELLING A WARRANTY THAT IS WORTHLESS FOR ALL WHEEL DRIVE CARS IS JUST SHAMEFUL AND DECEITFUL.
Staff was professional and service was good - though expensive. I appreciate their shuttle service. But a few days after the service I received an email stating "..our service technicians discovered that additional work on your vehicle may be required." Called yesterday to find out what this meant. Had to leave a voicemail. Almost 24 hours later they have not returned my call.
While I have some good experience buying a car and know the tricks dealers play, the Autonation dealership didn't play any games or try to blow anything by me. I appreciated that, it's the first time I've seen it at a dealership and throughout the dealership finance, sales etc. I found this to not be the case for Shortline Subaru Aurora, which was the other dealer I was looking at. Shortline wasted my time and was a massive pain in the butt. So buy from Autonation West Subaru in Golden!
I've taken my vehicles to AutoNation Subaru for over 15 years and have been extremely happy with the work that's been done on my vehicles and their awesome customer service. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else.
Always good service. Only problem was the shuttle drive to work - turns out the shuttle has a new driver so he did some backtracking of dropping people off when the route could have been more simplified (no back tracking) to drop people off at their destinations. He will learn.
Very professional. It's a pleasure going to this facility. They allow you to bring your dog in and provide coffee and sometimes snacks while you wait for your car. Oh and they always give you flowers when you leave. Such a great touch. Made my day! I've had a problem with my microphone for months and the other Subaru dealer kept telling me I did not. After they replaced it, I've had perfect clarity on car calls. Thanks again!!!
The service department sucks. They will keep your car for 7 hours and only complete a small portion of the work. Took my car in at 10 a.m. for an oil change, tire rotation, and new brakes. When I was finally contacted at 4:30 (they closed at 5), I was informed that my brakes were inspected and did in fact need to be replaced, but because of "time constraints" they wouldn't be fixing my brakes that day. Not cool. I then received 2 additional phone calls from the service techs asking me how long I was going to take because they were closing and wanted to leave for the day, I had already told them I was on my way. I had not been previously informed that the service department closed that early. Showed up at the dealership and no one can find my keys. After a short wait, the receptionist returned with a key. A key that didn't belong to my car. And as I reviewed the paperwork for my services, I realized that all they had completed was the oil change. THAT'S IT! 7 hours and all they could accomplish was an oil change. I will never go back to this dealership for my Forester maintenance.
I walked in the show room (I am 17)and I was wanting to talk about looking at and buying a wrx/sti and none of the salesman even said hello or anything like that. After about 10 minuets of no one coming up to me. I was tired of it. Who knows maybe everyone was busy but a hello or hi can I help with anything? would have been nice............ probably just going to go to a different dealer that knows how to properly greet someone
Great experience purchasing a WRX at Autonation West. Eric and Wes were very friendly and knowledgeable about their vehicles. Plus, they have the benefit of a fantastic test-drive route. Really appreciated their help all through the car-buying process.
I have been getting my 4 Subaru's serviced here for about 20 yrs. Excellent service all but 2 times that I can recall, which says a lot. I rarely post a review. But this time I was a bit irked after I had made an appointment quite in advance to get my car maintenanced and console lights replaced. I am working and staying 2 hours away from home (<10 miles away from the dealership). They were wonderful in paying for a LYFT home so I didn't need to stay and wait 3 hours to get it done. They called with what needed to be done and the expected cost. All fine and dandy. I picked up the car, they reviewed what was done, I paid and left.
But later on I received an email stating my battery showed it needed to be replaced! I work at a critical access hospital and stay 30 minutes away off a dirt road with sketchy wifi and phone service. I was disgruntled to say the least. There is no place to buy a battery or get it installed within an hour of here. Major pain in the ... I expect more from this trusted service department. May not seem like a big deal under normal circumstances, but for me, now, it is.
I recently purchased a 2019 Subaru Forester at AutoNation. My experience was outstanding. As soon as I entered the showroom, I was greeted by Vik Biefel. He was great to talk to and passed me on to salesman RJ Seidel. RJ was terrific. He really took the time to find out what I was looking for. I test drove a Forester and an Outback. He was able to point out some of the new technologies (my last vehicle was a 2008 model), as well as, just being a friendly guy. It was such a positive sales experience. I never felt pressured and I felt like I could ask questions as I was pondering my purchase options.
Once I decided upon a model, RJ found the it in the color I wanted via their computer inventory, which was the cherry on top. The paperwork process was straight forward and the transition to Joe Santilli for the final sale and loan was smooth and efficient. I was really impressed with the entire staff, they displayed professionalism yet were easygoing and helpful. I can't speak highly enough of RJ and the rest of the gang at AutoNation Subaru West!
Ken and the rest of the service crew have taken great care of our vehicle for 5 years. We have experienced great clarity and communication in all interactions with the team at AutoNation Subaru West.
I had the best experience with AutoNation Subaru west, from purchasing my car to my first service. Everyone I dealt with made me feel welcome and valued.
Besides the long wait on what we were told would be a short wait to do the paperwork it was a great experience buying my car here. Salesmen was nice and friendly and they don't pressure you into to trying to buy other things.
These guys understand what "service" means! Want to especially give kudos to Adam in service. He was not only knowledgeable but also empathetic, courteous and professional! So glad I bought my Subaru at this location! Great people!
Brandon was an amazing salesman and very knowledgeable. He worked with me to get the car I wanted and at the price that worked for me. AutoNation Subaru West was a great experience especially for a first time buyer. I love my crosstrek.
Had a recall on my car. Was treated very well at Auto Nation Subaru West. Repair work was completed in the time they said. They were so nice. Will always take my car there for service.
Hello, I purchased my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek in August of 2017. The service initially was exceptional. A year and a half later not so much. I have a recall on the stereo and I have been trying to get an appointment for over a month. I really need the update performed because it is affecting my Android Auto and GPS. I finally got an appointment which was supposed to be today. I attempted to call at 7 a.m. this morning to confirm exactly what time I was supposed to be there. I was on hold for 40 minutes to speak to a service adviser. John told me that he did not see an appointment for me. He could squeeze my in possibly. My husband has also purchased a vehicle through Autonation at another location and has experienced the same "lost appointment". This is not exceptional customer service at all. Auto nation really needs to get it together.
We had a great experience with Mitch at AutoNation Subaru West. He was very approachable and listened to what we were looking for in a new car. We felt no pressure and he answered all of our questions either via email or phone promptly. I would recommend both AutoNation and Mitch to anyone looking for a Subaru!
