I contacted AutoNation Subaru West through their website looking for a 2017 WRX at a lower price than their competitors. Tim Flathers contacted me immediately and beat the online price of Hueberger Motors in the Springs. This dealer also offered me double on my trade-in than their competitors were offering. The financing process was simple and quick. I was driving away from the lot within two hours. Tim followed up with me to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase. My ONLY complaint was that I purchased a ding & dent repair plan and one week after purchasing, someone slammed their car door into mine, leaving a small dent and their paint on my door. They would not cover this damage and I had to buy paint and go over the damage myself. It is very noticeable even for such small damage. However, I would recommend anyone to work with Tim for a good car buying experience.

I was in the market for a used low mileage crossover, I reached out to Don Wright who helped me search all over the country for what I was looking for. After running the numbers on a few various models I locked in on a Honda Crosstour EX-L that was listed on the Autonation site. The vehicle in question was located at the Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Littleton. Don drove to that dealership and picked it up for me. I got an amazing deal on the car, additionally, they gave me an incredibly fair figure on my trade in. It was a pleasure doing business with them, we were in and out in less than two hours. Joe Santilli the finance director was able to get us a great rate with our credit union and we felt completely confident with the entire purchase. This is not a dealer post, my experience was actually this good. This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car and I would recommend Don Wright and Autonation Subaru West to anyone interested in purchasing a car.

I bought a Subaru Forester so I could feel safe in the weather, but this car has been sliding me around all season. The tires claim to be all season but they clearly are not. I spoke with the sales department and they informed me that the tires are not their responsibility. This is very sad that they will not take responsibility for the products that they sell. I was told I would have to go with snow tires in order to get the protection I wanted. My last Forester drove excellent for 10 hard snow seasons on real all season tires. I was forced to go to discount tires and have new all season tires put. These new tires perform perfectly and this means the old tires were either bad or maybe all Bridgestone Ecopia tires are bad. I'll never know since the dealership did not want to help me with this problem. I feel like I've been ripped off to tune of $750 dollars since I bought a car that I assumed would have good all weather tires on but it did not and Autonation would not stand up to the warranty.

I had an excellent experience buying a Subaru from AutoNation Subaru West. I walked in and although I hadn't made an appointment I was immediately helped. Mitch Hyder is an exceptional salesman. He answered all of my questions knowledgeably and attentively. Buying a car can be a stressful experience but that was not the case when I went to AutoNation. I had been to other dealerships earlier that day and none of them believed I was serious about buying a car, given that I look relatively young. Mitch took me seriously and was honest, personable, and was just as excited for me to buy a car as I was. I will absolutely be recommending my friends and family to AutoNation. I traded in my old car and bought a Subaru Impreza. I love it! Many thanks to everyone at AutoNation :)

Management is ruining it for the employees, who generally, do a great job. Go to Flatirons Subaru if it's convenient.

For a number of reasons, I can no longer recommend this dealership. Most recent new Subaru was purchased here. We ordered the car and agreed upon a price. You would have thought we were robbing the place when it came time to actually purchase the car. Sales manager was legitimately rude and insulting. We walked away from the sale, but ultimately decided to move forward with the purchase. Probably a mistake. Buy from Hueberger in CO Springs.

Along with the car, we purchased a service plan that included a discounted cost on oil changes (the discount really just brings the price down to a normal price - their price is high). Big regret here. When we try to schedule an oil change, they are scheduling 4-5 weeks out. If I want it earlier, I can show up any day and leave the car for some amount of time and they'll get it done. Not an easy task when you're dragging a toddler along and your place of work is not a simple shuttle ride away. Clearly they have plenty of resources to do oil changes, but they aren't willing to schedule a time slot for customers. They did suggest we look at other AutoNation dealers for our service plan, but I would rather my car be serviced at a Subaru dealer. So if they want to send our business elsewhere, we will take it to another Subaru dealership. Most likely to Flatirons Subaru. They are good, reasonably located for us, and they will schedule me ASAP.

A proud employee for 25 years, Victor was so knowledgeable and made us feel like part of the Subaru family from the minute we met him. This is my first Subaru and I am ecstatic! Service shop staff were rude. It took 2.5 hours for an oil change. They overfilled the oil by a half liter and cost me an extra tank of gas in decreased mileage. No response to complaints through their voluntary reporting system. This is the third time this service shop has done terribly for my family. I'd pay to tow my car somewhere else even if it broke down at this shop.

I actually bought a subaru from a different location in 2017, but came through this place the other week to actually do product photography for an Impreza. I was blown away by how friendly the staff was here, Mitch Hyder was especially friendly and accommodating for me. I will definitely be buying my next Subaru from here and will bring my car in for service.

Very impressed with Service and Parts! Both departments were very helpful and professional, whilst still being approachable humans.
Service does have a loaner car program, which is a huge help while my Outback was getting a recall taken care of.
The service drive was very clear and well staffed, which is refreshing to see.
The folks in Parts were also fun, helpful, and prompt with making a spare key for my older Subie.
I highly recommend this dealership for Parts and Service!

For the past year, I have been debating buying a new car but the thought of actually going through the process left a knot in my stomach and I kept delaying it. I popped into Auto Nation Subaru West after seeing one I was interested in online, and am so happy I did! I had a great experience with ANSW. I worked with Rolando, who is amazing. He was very patient and I never felt pressured while I went back and forth for a few weeks on what I wanted to buy. In the end, what I wanted was something of a "unicorn"- and he fought to get me the exact car I wanted from another dealership. I would recommend this dealership, and specifically Rolando, to anyone!

They seem like they are great at selling vehicles, can not provide any customer service for an vehicle that they can not fix after 12 months. Don't call or send an email to a manager. This will get you no reply or the service rep calling you so the manager does not have to. Had to reach out to Subaru Corporate and seem to be getting more response than this poor example of a service dealership.

The service here is terrible. I would never recommend anyone to this place. The best one to go to is on Arapaho. The service area tries to get money out of you instead of working with you. Guy tried to run me 1088$ for a throw out barring. Not a day in my life would I pay that much.

They kept my outback for 9 hours only to tell me exactly what I had told them when I dropped it off. Repairing the drivers side puddle lights was quoted to be over $2000, and replacing a broken tailpipe would cost another $1750. The only redeeming factor was that the mechanic decided to only charge me $75 for the diagnostic instead of the quoted $225. I won t be returning here for service unless I absolutely have to.

Purchased a pre-owned 2018 Impreza. It's our first Subaru and already I can see why people love them. Subaru West is a great choice to buy as they have a nice low traffic test road that winds up into the foothills so you can see how the cars perform in typical Colorado driving conditions. So much nicer than testing a car on busy E. Arapahoe Rd. Our salesman Dennis was terrific! Low pressure and very patient answering our questions about the options on the different Imprezas we were looking at. He managed to attend to other customers that showed up and still give us the attention we needed. Bob in finance made closing the deal a pleasure and we were out quickly and on our way.

I recently bought a used subaru here. The clutch went out after thirty days. Please do not trust the 125 point inspection and the 60 day warranty. Please take the vehicle to a trusted mechanic before you buy from this dealership. As far as the 60 day warranty goes, the drive train warranty is limited to anything that is lubricated, so I was out of luck. Please learn from my mishap.

Let me first start by saying that I have been a loyal customer for 8 1/2 years. We've purchased two vehicles from them and come for all of our service needs. However, over the last year or so, I have been severely disappointed in changes at this location. My last oil change was scheduled weeks in advance, I showed up on time and waited for over two hours for them to complete! 2 1/2 hours for a simple oil change?! I could chalk that up to perhaps being short-staffed/overwhelmed that day until I called for another oil change and renewal of my oil change plan, spent 15 minutes in an endless cycle of speaking to individuals, clicking through the new (ish) phone system, being put on hold, never getting the person I wanted and ultimately having to call back again just to make a service purchase! I love the guys in the service department (Adam specifically) and they've always been incredibly up front and honest with us but, as a long time customer, the direction they've headed recently is hugely disappointing.

AutoNation Subaru West does the car business right. We worked with Shannon Sandoval and he took the time to show us all the different models, discuss technology differences between years and between option packages.

Shannon took an experience that I expected to be stressful and turned it into a very pleasant one, and ultimately, he helped us to find the perfect car to fit our family needs.

We also worked with Robbie Ververs to finish out the paperwork and he was very accommodating on our payment method desires. Additionally, he worked with us to get the CPO Gap Coverage on the car that put my wife's mind at ease for a cost I was willing to pay. I had intended to decline this coverage, but I am very happy with how it worked out.

We will be returning here when my wife's car needs replacement.

Good experience buying my Outback at AutoNation West last week. Experience was relatively hassle-free, not a lot of pressure to buy or upgrade to a vehicle I didn t want. They offered at a good price, i had looked up model and trim pkg fair price on several services before I arrived and AutoNation met or slightly beat that price.

I was looking to buy a Subaru Crossover and they almost jipped us by stating features included in the car on the paperwork but not on the care we were looking at. On the bill it says it included all these features but it didn't on the actual car. We ended up going to Englewood Groove Subaru and they gave us a better deal with better customer service. We showed them the deal Autonation was going to give us and they proved to us they LIED because we ended up buying the SAME car from Autonation through Groove. There was long wait before we were helped as well. Had my car oil changed there ( because it was closer) and they told me something different on the phone than when I got there. HORRIBLE. DONT GO THERE!

Concerning the sales aspect of my purchase I'm very pleased. I like to negotiate big-ticket items like vehicles, so it's a bummer they don't haggle. I knew negotiation's not part of their business model going in, so I can't complain. The tire-change parts were missing from the vehicle. It's something I didn't realize until I drove home. Don, the salesman, ordered the parts for me. He didn't have to--money had already changed hands. That was a solid move on his end.

Concerning the vehicle, only time will tell. I'm a decent shade-tree mechanic and from what I can tell, everything looked and sounded good. The "125-point Inspection" seems largely superficial when you read through the inspection list. However, they changed the belts, and a few other things.

Overall, if negotiating makes you uncomfortable, it's a great place to buy a car. They really go out of their way to make it a comfortable experience. And, though I could have saved a couple thousand dollars buying from a private seller, I spent a little extra to get a used car that's been inspected from an outfit that is accountable by reputation to not sell me a lemon.

The rep had absulutely no idea what was on the lot, and had the weakest handshake EVER. he took my friends request for a car to the back to search the online, PUBLIC inventory to tell us that "potentially there might be spmething we will like, but Icant make any promises" uhhhh he told you what he wanted... So its either u got it or you dont!! Are you just too much of a baby to show us the car in the rain???We went to the dodge dealership nextdoor and they just so happened to have the outback we wanted. Do yourself a favor and go to a different Subaru for service. For one they almost never answer the phone it s left ringing. I ve had to sales multiple times to get someone to actually make sure someone in service answers. Thankfully this morning I got ahold quickly however I was SHOCKED at a price check. I bought my car in Longmont but due to living in golden I often see what I can get done without driving an hour.

However valley Subaru alignment is $89.99... with an online coupon it is $69.95

And golden??? $139.95 IS THIS REAL??? I ve read some wild scam reviews but wow. They really are a scam. Glad I did my research! Go somewhere else!! Unreal

I only have one complaint about AutoNation Subaru West: the pressure tactics to get you to buy their coverage policies. I was about ready to back out of my deal because they were pushing me to buy policies and protections that I did not want. DON'T BE PRESSURED INTO THIS. I want to give this place 5 stars, but that bothered me so much I chose to give them 4.

The store was nice, clean, and sanitized. The staff is professional and polite. They offer you bottled water, too, which doesn't seem like much, but is nice when it's 90+ degrees outside!

I worked with Dan Carne, a Sales Associate at the dealership. Dan was great! He was very helpful, quick to respond, willing to answer any questions, and patient. He never once tried to push me into buying the car. If you work with Dan, know you are in good hands.

During the test drive, my wife and I noticed a burning smell coming from the vehicle. When we told Dan about this issue, he acted quickly and sent it into the mechanic shop the next day. He reached out to us as soon as he found out that their was nothing wrong with the vehicle.

As all dealerships go, the day we bought the vehicle, it took FREAKING FOREVER! I'd suggest going in with a plan of buying the vehicle the next day, that way they might be able to have all the papers ready for you before you arrive.

Just bought a 2018 Crosstreck over Memorial Day weekend. Worked with Dennis there. He was great; didn't pressure us into buying a car, and treated us with great respect. We left there with an amazing car without a feeling like they pulled one over on us. They were nothing but honest and fair with the price of the new car and the value of our trade in. I can't say enough great things about this dealership and our experience with Dennis. Not to mention the friendly service center.

He has worked for Subaru since 1998 and he really knows his stuff. He spent five hours with us and explained everything about the car in great detail. I arrived around 10am 9/18/20, looking for a Subaru to replace my ageing Jeep. I spoke with Dennis, who quickly arranged a test drive on the Limited and Sport varieties of the Crosstrek. It wasn't long before deciding the Sport really appealed, and not long after that that Dennis had set me up with a competitive deal. After some consideration, I decided to purchase the vehicle. From here, the process continued its trend and was smooth and relatively quick. The service at AutoNation Subaru was professional and courteous, and the pricing quite competitive. If you're in the market for such a car, I highly recommend at least stopping by. The whole process, at this location, is rather painless and enjoyable.

My experience at Auto Nation Subaru was great. My car had been recently totaled because of a hail storm. Needless to say I wasn't expecting to suddenly find a new car. After days of looking online, I decided to check out their location in Golden. The staff was friendly and willing to help. I worked with Allen one of the sales associates, who was very knowledgeable about Subarus and understanding about my recent total loss. He helped me find the perfect new Subaru. After I had selected a car, I was introduced to Bob in the finance department. Bob was funny and very efficient. All in all, the associates I worked with at AutoNation Subaru in Golden turned a very stressful car buying experience into the best car buying experience. Thank you Allen and Bob!

Great service and really friendly people! However, prior to my service I looked at their website and it says they offer loaner cars. Since my appointment was early on a work day I was hoping to get a loaner car for the day. When I checked in at AutoNation I was told they do not offer loaner cars, but I can pay $40 for a rental. Pretty disappointing since it says on their website this is a service they offer.

I have never been ignored by so many people walking into a car dealership, no one was at the front desk and I had to call while in the lobby to find the guy I talked to on the phone. I enjoyed the experiences of buying a new Subaru at AutoNation Subaru West, particularly since I was looking for a used one I could afford. This is my first Subaru, first at AutoNation Subaru West and I would buy another Forrester from AutoNation Subaru West and from Ben Baker, when the time is right. I truly enjoy my new Forrester, living up in the mountains at 9,000 ft, the gas mileage has doubled and some times tripled, but so far I'm averaging 36 mpg going up and down the mountains. All the managers and staff were helpful, courteous and professional - Thank you all at AutoNation Subaru West.

I dread buying a car... Its the pressuring sales people, the haggling and the constant battles to get everything right. However, I didn't seem to have any of those run-ins at GO Subaru West. Eric Traugutt of the sales staff took my requests and delivered exactly what I asked for. The price was right, the financing was easy and most important to me, they gave me a more than fair price for my trade.

I hope that my next car purchase goes the same way and I hope its another great car from GO Subaru West.

Excellent experience overall. This dealership is straightforward and efficient. I received three internet quotes for a 2018 Subaru Outback and Subaru West offered the best price. Once in the dealership to work out the rest of the deal, they were easy to work with. Salesman Dan Carne is top notch, extremely experienced and well versed in all things Subaru. Even though I had previously test driven an Outback, Dan made sure I got the car out on a REAL test drive. Because of Subaru West' proximity to I70, Lookout Mountain and numerous windy, steep roads, you have the distinct opportunity to really stretch out a Subaru's legs. Dan went over every detail of the car during the test drive and before I drove the car off the lot. Obviously, as a consumer, you need to be well prepared for the entire car buying experience, but these guys are respectful and knowledgeable from start to finish. Highly recommend.

As a first time car buyer, I was slightly anxious and wasn't looking forward to dealing with car salesmen. The salesman I worked with, Paul, was a newer car salesman but had significant sales experience in other ventures. Despite Paul's "freshness", he made me feel very comfortable, helped make the car buying process smooth, and I could tell he cared that I was properly taken care of. Paul was very knowledgeable, and very open when didn't know the answer to my question. He made sure that he found that answer out, and got back to me with it quickly.

I did my research and was able to get a great deal with Autonation Subaru West. Mike, the sales manager, was very responsive through email correspondence. On the evening I agreed to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, Paul came back to the dealer on his own time to meet me and make sure everything went well.

I have never bought a car from this dealership but...

I have never bought a car from this dealership but I had to get a warranty fixed on my car. They informed me it would take on average two hours to complete. After almost seven hours of waiting they call to inform me my car was ready, not knowing I was still waiting in there waiting room. After asking the front desk where my car was they informed me it was not in fact ready. By far the worst experience I have ever had just to get a car fixed.
Ps. They get two starts because they at least had wifi and bottled waters.

I worked with Ben Nash and he was an incredible sales associate. He really worked with me and helped me get the best price. I got a hail damage car and he managed to throw in a paint pen so I could fix some of the chips in the paint.

Traded in and bought a new outback. Noel was awesome, despite being super busy. Really nice people, with a mellow showroom. Kids area was really helpful as we did this with a 3year old. Would go back if i was buying a fleet. Nice place.

Very rude, made sure I knew that they had superior knowledge, and after taking our Crosstrek elsewhere I was proved right. During this time a lot of dealers will suffer, one can only hope Autonation Subaru west will be a casualty.

I recently purchased a Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited with AutoNation West in Northwest Denver (Golden). I made an appointment with Dan Carne, a salesman with this location. On the appointed day, Dan met my fiance and I for what turned out to be an extremely pleasant buying experience. Dan was very easy to work with and demonstrated his outstanding knowledge of the Subaru product. We both loved his humorous style and the fact that there was never any "hard sell" tactics or pushy behavior. I would highly recommend Dan Carne for anyone wanting to buy a Subaru, or just learn a lot more about this amazing car lineup. He is honest, patient and extremely professional.

We were also very impressed and pleased with Bob Messmore, the Customer Financial Services Manager. The one thing I hate most about buying a car is the mountains of paperwork that must be signed and sealed, before you can walk out with your new baby. Bob made the process much less painful and did it with a great sense of humor and professionalism. There were no surprises at the last minute that we have encountered before. He was fast, accurate and made us feel like we had all of the extras explained and offered without the pushy tactics that we hate. He made us feel like we were gaining a caring family in the Subaru Brand.

A great dealership that is most highly recommended. I will follow up later with comments about service as I go in next week for an add on Remote Start.
