Great Hotel located in clock tower. Excellent staff. Smooth check in and check out. Loved the live Haram audio.Thanks to Abdullah for making sure our needs were satisfied everyday without fail. Even though we were 2 guests, our hotel room consisted of 2 bedrooms which could sleep up to 5 guests comfortably. Continental breakfast was vast with many choices to satisfy the palate of many nationalities. Only negative is the waiting time for the lifts of around 4 - 11 minutes for going down to the Haram. Would I stay here again? Without blinking a eye, for sure.

Best hotel to stay in if ur performing umra.. 300 meters from gate Abdul Aziz, and Gate Abdul aziz is the closest gate to Kabbah.

Located centrally in the haramain area of mecca (Masjidil haram). Very easy to access from any door of the mosque. Love the islamic atmosphere and i would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We had a very bad experience considering this was supposed to be one of the premier hotels in Makkah.
I arrived late around 3 AM and it took about 7 calls to ensure that the hotel would not cancel the room even after recharging us for the stay.
There was no bell bought present and we had to stow our luggage up to 11th floor where lobby was.
The room was getting too much noise from the hallway , the shower leaked water all over bathroom and there was visible mold in many places in the bathroom.
When I complained I was told to go away and nothing could be done, I was told to go and complain to ministry of foreign affairs if I have a problem with the hotel.
I strongly discourage any discerning traveler to avoid staying at this hotel all all costs, not worth the money spent at all.

Excellent service, great location. Just five minutes walk to enter the mosque. The morning buffet was delicious! Highly recommended! Can't find fault at all.

Unfortunately, one of the worst hotels in the hotel towers unexpectedly misses cleanliness, and I call them to ask them to clean up. Zabail came to sit for the second day, and the remains of food refuse to come, and any request you ask for sits for how many hours when it comes to you, you hate yourself and it comes. I am surprised how 5 stars treat them so bad

Praise be to God, I booked a night, but I was trying to stay there, and my reservation was inclusive of breakfast when I came back from the Haram with breakfast. My mother and I said about it. People entered in your name. What do you enter? I said how do you enter people in my name and I and my mother from the dawn prayer until 9 am in the campus when we came back they refused to enter when I crammed them I said open the cameras with a view. Whoever entered in my name, they said, Sincerely, enter, I hate him, and I did not enter

Was charged for local phone used but I called them before making local calls and was told it's free for all local calls. BEWARE

Please note that the hotel is not answering me. Remember that the hotel staff did inform me that all local calls are free. Otherwise I would have used my prepaid SIM that has 1000 minutes for use. I explained this to the manager and he is too arrogant to listen and kept saying that the hotel charges for all calls. Wasted my breath and time explaining the situation to him. As good as talking to a wall. In this case a donkey.

I live in the hotel but I would like to enter your private terrace restaurant which has a distinctive view of the Haram but they are reserved for 3 days and I tried the great interior cafe and the staff and what they are doing

Frankly the most beautiful of my stay in Makkah supervisor ... Reception wonderful professional and smile room service collaborators .. And especially security very high ethics and seek the satisfaction of the visitor .. I will repeat the visit, God willing, and thanks to the management of this excellence

I was there with my family the room is fine but toilets are very dirty and staff was not so cooperative.

Awesome Location. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Great rooms and nice ambience and decor. Upmarket and up to date. Nice WiFi and free too. Nice and clean bathrooms with abundant supplies of toiletries. Wheelchair friendly. They have wheelchairs too. But i would recommend you guys to book them in advance. Can get a bit crowded sometimes but then you can not complain.

One of the best breakfast spreads I've ever seen. Nice and courteous staff. Clean and up market Restaurant. Met Chef Mr. Hakim there. A very good human being. Committed to serving the Hajis with all humility and utmost respect. All in all a great experience in the greatest place on earth.

It's exciting to stay here, the rooms are really good and the food is in the Indonesian menu, because the request from PT. Arminareka Perdana. Yuk Umroh.

The hotel is good near the mosque of Harom, only those who make the service are right when they want to refrigerate, they open the door of our room at will. Imagine, we are taking another break at will. Just say I'm sorry I don't know anymore. It's not like that. Tetep. Ask permission first, then correct, where is the open nakedness, klllllll

The hotel furniture is old, dirty and smells bad
Upon my arrival they did not provide me with the suites that I had booked with the same specifications
They made me downgraded and I accepted the pretext that they would provide me with my order the next day, but the reception staff was not at all helpful.
As they did not give me the difference of the amount and did not give me the required wings

Amazing hotel, just like any 5 star hotel. Kind and very helpful staff. Only downside is that the entrance is on the 11th floor of the clocktower, it takes about 10 minutes to get to my room because of all the wait for the elevators. Othet than that I really enjoyed the stay!

The hotal service were extermely poor. The reception Manager is no cooprative and house keepar had zero sence and the value of customers. I hereby suggust Rutana group to carefully look at these improvement aspents.

Premier Suite had enough space but the Aircon in the main bedroom does not work.

House keeping - We have to wait forever for them to clean up the room, to the point that we have to call the front office.

The hotel unfortunately very very bad in addition to the ethics of customer service and reception is very slut, especially what is called Mr. Ahmed + Roman Servez very bad cleaning was requested at 6 pm and did not clean the cleaning only 1 am after several attempts

Mecca a place of worship peace and respect. A place where we come to worship Allah and be kind and gentle with His people. My stay at The Rotana Ramada unfortunately wasn t respectful or peaceful. As mentioned in the website it s a 5 star property but has no qualities of one. We had multiple issues with towels, electricity and door issues. On top of all that, This morning during my 4 day stay, a security guard was rude to one of of female companions. She was sitting outside the breakfast place( which opens at 6am as instructed by the reception). He insisted that the female leave that area with a strong voice. When she asked where the toilet was he asked for proof that she was a guest at the hotel. In her return he still insisted that she leave. She said breakfast opens at 6am she will enter the area at 6am. A kind Arabic female ( hotel guest) also waiting patiently assisted the female. I would just like to add that The HOTEL needs to understand customer service. They should do all what s possible to facilitate the stay. Lastly wanted to add that the hotel should hire people who are qualified to be guest service manager. The lady we met had not the slightest idea how to handle guests. She on the other hand totally blamed the whole thing on us. I personally would NOT recommend this property to anyone.

I visited it in 2015 and liked a wonderful hotel above the level of cleanliness, service and breakfast. I hope that God will stay in it in April of this year.

The reservations team has redefined the meaning of hospitality . I have used my Australian credit card to book my parents at Al Marwa Rotana, the money was not deducted on arrival, The reservation team took the responsibility on checking them in on the hotel expense till the payment was sorted ! I was impressed by the assistance and understanding , these things could really ruin the whole experience if handled unprofessionally . To add to my disbelief, my parents had a free upgrade to a Kaaba view!

The final pay I made was far less than I expected to the service I go !

I booked almost 4 years ago in this hotel and the room was wonderful, the furniture is clean, and I booked it again on 01/21/2018 and unfortunately it was a very bad experience for the farthest degree of the hotel, its level has declined in stages, the room is not clean and you do not feel that you are in a 5-star hotel, but rather a 3-star hotel Some tiles are broken and make sounds when walking on it the beds are very bad
The glass is not clean. The bathroom is worn out and has several patches. Choosing cuvina water in the rooms I think is not a good option and indicates that the hotel is looking for savings without concern for quality

The sound of the living sanctuary from the room's speakers is very bad and interrupted
Poor room isolation means you can hear clearly what is next to you

Staff is good

Breakfast is okay, even though I prefer a Fairmont and Laffa breakfast compared to the original
Conclusion:
Whoever intends to book in it, I advise him to back down. There are other options available that are better than this hotel, which is not keen on regular maintenance of rooms
And with more options, I hope the hotel management will pay attention
