Extremely disappointed with the service we jus rec...

Extremely disappointed with the service we jus received. Disappointed doesn t even explain how frustrated I am. My wife and I were both told and reached an agreement on a lease on a 2018 Forester via phone and text with the salesman. Drove from Cedar Hills (132 miles round trip) over an hour drive each way with our twenty month old plus an hour and a half at the dealership. After all was said and done they came back with a price $52 a month over what was agreed upon earlier in the day and said nothing could be done. More than disappointed. Lied to and wasted 4 hours of our time.

Great buying experience. Everyone we dealt with were very professional. Nick, our salesman, had just the right approach. He listened attentively, knew the answers to all of our questions, and kept in contact with us without being pushy. We got exactly the car we wanted for a more than competitive price. I completely recommend Young Subaru!

They put my oil pan plug on wrong. I went somewhere else to get my next oil change and the bolt stripped. I moved too far away to go back to them. They are so difficult and gave me the run around for hours. Still don t know if I am going to have to pay for a new pan or not because I am at a different location.

Didn't have the best experience here. They were extremely slow to work with the day I was there, to the point where they had to have a salesman sit and babysit me, until they could finally move forward. We literally sat in an office and talked about nothing car related. Once we finally made a deal, I wasn't entirely informed about the purchase. Exceptionally poor communication followed, with me emailing and texting, but not getting responses for 5-7 days at a time. When they finally decided to provide me with a second key (it wasn't disclosed that there was only one key until I was about to drive away with the purchased vehicle), it took a total of 7 weeks, and even then I had to initiate the process. Once I picked up the key, I was told it needed to be cut and programmed and that I could do it at the Young Kia dealership, which I figured was included, as without having that done, it is as useful as a rock. It turns out they were only planning on giving me the key, but not making it work. The Kia dealership tried to contact them to get a purchase order, but was unsuccessful, so they asked me to call, which I did. I was passed from person to person, until I was met with a flustered used car sales manager, who then refused to do anything about it. On the bright side, the Young Kia dealership was very nice to work with, even though I was very upset with the Subaru dealership. Go to Young Kia, avoid Young Subaru.

We bought a Dodge Ram from Kelly in Morgan at the end of 2016. I contacted Kelly at Subaru in Riverdale and explained what we were looking for. Within an hour he contacted me with a decent vehicle. Less than 24 hours from the time I told him what we were looking for, he had us out the door with a beautiful Durango. I will absolutely purchase a vehicle from Kelly and Young again.

The customer service experience with Young Subaru ...

The customer service experience with Young Subaru was excellent. They know that the customer comes first in all that they do when they help the customer find the vehicle that they actually need. There was no hard sell tactics used by the salesperson in what was our first purchase of a new car and I have to single out Ryan as being one of the very best salesperson's that I have ever dealt with. He helped us find just what was best for us without any pressure. Friendly, knowledgeable and very, very good at his job.
Young Subaru can be depended on to deliver on their promise that the customer comes first.

Experiene with young Subaru of riverdale utah not even worth one star. Aftermath a nightmare after all the lies and deception.

Of the dealerships in the Salt Lake Valley, the folks at Young Subaru gave the least pressure and the best vibe starting with Skylar Faidiga and Amy Jo Edlefson. The deal was sealed by Lance McNamara. Friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, as were all with whom we worked, Lance made it a conversation and we stayed with Young Subaru because of him. I highly recommend Young Subaru. The entire team makes you feel welcome and that you are a part of the whole. They are an active part of their community and take care of their customers. We always felt (and continue to post-purchase) that we matter and our safety and satisfaction are important. While Young Subaru is a business for whom profit means continued existence, they enable their Sales Team to do good work with the individual(s) before them. A shout out, too, to their Finance Team. After dealing with Finance Managers elsewhere in the country, I expected to have to put up a wall and dig a moat. They are great representatives of an excellent organization. Give Lance a call or send him an email. Thanks and kudos, too, to the first persons you see when entering the building, their Receptionist Team. They keep it all together with a smile.

I bought a new 2015 wrx and my experience was great
Then decided to buy a used one from them
But in the process of buying the car the key was lost
And have to wait a couple to days to get a copy.
Then as soon as we got the car it started making noise and said it might just be a belt.and they won't charge anything
Now I had it check from them and they said it needs new ac compressor and depending on your choosing they'll charge either 700 or 900. With the discount
Since we just barely bought it. We didn't have the money to spend. So I had a buddy look at it and it's just a belt so it was fix. No charge... They try to cheat me on something that could've been fix easily without hassle.

But that isnt the case with Young Subaru. Their service department has been great to schedule our maintencance with. Ryan Landis always keeps us updated every step of the way!

Cameron was amazing. Truly. He was very professional and friendly from start to finish. We went to Young Subaru after having dealt with the unprofessional rude people at Ken Garff Nissan. I wish we would have started with Young Subaru.

John from financing is awesome. He wasn't ever confrontational or sneaky. I felt like he was always on the up and up with us. He went line by line with us, explained every charge.

Unlike the other dealership, I never felt like I had to be on the defense. Young Subaru, though they obviously have a job to do and an income to make, always made us feel like they had our best interest in mind. When we finally got the keys, we were told "Welcome to the Subaru family!" They gave us a tour of the dealership and made sure we were aware of where everything is located. Cameron gave us his cell phone number and told us to call him if we ever needed anything.

I am so glad the previous deal with KG fell through and we got a Subaru. I just wish we had gone to Young Subaru first. I definitely recommend them to people. They won't cheat you out of your hard earned money.

My experience with Young Subaru has been very good. I took my car in two times during January and both times the problem was covered under my warranty. The service staff (Veronica?) on one occasion and a gentleman on the other, were both very helpful to communicate the status of the repair. The shuttle service is very helpful and I am happy that the service department is open until 6 or 6:30. I don't have any complaints and find the dealership to be clean, convenient and really very fast. Both repairs were completed in a timely manner.

After numerous times of going over the paperwork with our car salesman, and being promised that the out the door price... OVER AND OVER would be 26k. We signed on 26k. We were assured time after time that would be the highest number we would pay because it was absolutely maxing out our budget. Well now come to find 1 month later... we're paying 28.5k. And there's nothing we can do about it. NEVER GO TO YOUNG.. should have listened to all of our friends and family that said they were money hungry, crooked people. Because that is true. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. I wish we could just go back in time because we absolutely can not afford what we're paying for right now and all they can do is say "oops!"

We can in Thursday to have our Forrester serviced and we were met by Nathan Walker our salesman and were so surprised to see him. We had received an email telling us that he had left the dealership and we were so sad. He was so great to work with and we enjoy seeing him when we need anything at Subaru. He was exceptional when we got the car and we plan to come back to him when we need a new one. We have also given his name to several friends to contact him about purchasing a car. I have never been more disappointed with a dealers...

I have never been more disappointed with a dealership than this one. The finance department is a complete joke. They didn't bother to look at what we had already been sold when we went to purchase out our lease. They did not communicate with America first with our pre approval that took the process even longer. The worst of it they they promised us a check for the money that they over charged us and then said that they had to put it back on the loan. This is a joke and I will never buy or lease a car from them again.

The dealership failed to have us sign all the payoff documents so they could submit the payoff amount.

1 month and 10 days later. The money was received by the leasing department, However; the amount they paid was 976.23 less then the payoff quote the leasing department gave them on 2 different days. This left us with a shortfall on our account.

My husband called and talked to the finance department and told her that the dealership needed to contact the leasing department. She called them and confirmed the shortfall but then told my husband they would talk to her about how to correct the situation.

We returned to purchase a car for our daughter. We found the car in then 10,000 section of the used cars. LANCE was amazing to work with. And THIS finance individual knew how to do his job. He didn't talk over us or try to push us to anything unnecessary. Thank you both for helping this purchase work through perfect!

I will never buy from young Subaru. I have been searching for a new car and I love Subaru s. I had met someone who works there at my church. I texted him on his personal line with simple questions about Subaru s, nothing serious. And after that it was a complete joke. I was placed on some kind of contact list and had at least 4 people including him who would call and text me every day. An appointment was created for me without knowledge and I got harassed every day. I had told him what type of Subaru s I liked and any time he would send me a car it was something trashy and in bad condition, not what I wanted at all. I work a strict schedule in surgeries. And I don t appreciate getting calls all day. I got no apology when I asked them to stop contacting. I ONLY WANTED TO TALK TO THE PERSON I KNEW. NOT EVERYONE IN THE COMPANY. And even then, he was no help. They only care about making money and will do anything to get a dollar. Complete disrespect.

My wife and I went back and forth a hundred times on if we needed a new car before moving out of state and I m so glad we ended up going to Garrett Quinney, he took care of us. We ended up getting a new car from him and couldn t be happier. Our move went smoothly and Young Subaru really played a big part in that. You won t regret working with Garrett.

They're pushy when selling a car, they don't follow through on promises, and they're extremely slow reimbursing unused extended warranty after we sold our car. I've called back several weeks after we had started the process to get back the remaining amount of our extended warranty, and they had lost our paperwork, didn't know where they were in the process, and the person we had talked to didn't work there any more. From other times working with them, that seems to be a pattern not unfamiliar. What kind of place has that high of a turn-over rate, can't keep things together, and has such pushy sales people? Not a place I will ever go. I knew beforehand that dealerships are there to make money...but I don't appreciate a business acting in quite this way with customers.

Your experience may be different, but be aware of some of the tactics used on us to get us into a car outside of our comfort zone: Door-in-the-face, selling on payment, rather than price, and the waiting game (BIG time). Google these phrases for further details, if you are unfamiliar. Then, if you decide to go in anyways you can be better informed and less likely to fall to one of these cheap tricks. And, if you're trading in, don't just be focused on the price of your trade-in! Keep a close eye on the worth of the car you're buying as well. They can lie about the trade-in value and hose you on the price of the car you're purchasing to get what they want. Just saying..Ye have been warned.

Sold my F-150 to the used car division of Young Subaru on September 22nd. Had a loan on it but it was for less than it was worth. I was told that I would have my check in the mail by end up of week, or early the next week at latest. I still haven't received it. I followed up with my sales rep and they still weren't able to give me an ETA. Their competitor down the street gives a check same day. I regret my decision to not go with them.

I went in here to trade in a vehicle with my son. It was his deal but I was there to help. They have a nice lot and wide selection of vehicles. It is a bit of the way off the interstate but not that bad of a drive. The salesman and all other people involved were friendly. My son's car on the other hand... I went over the service records and the entire vehicle before he purchased it. The service record indicated they had changed some parts but after driving it back home, 4 hours away, the "parts" were in horrible shape. We could hear a noise on the way home but didn't think much of it. After driving around town in some bumpy situations, it sounded horrible. My son called the dealership and they refused to do anything about it even though he had a 90 day warranty. The warranty might not have covered those parts but if they said they changed them on the service record and obviously didn't or did it wrong... they should at least offer to change them again or pay for someone else to do it. The windshield washer fluid was frozen when we left which was very inconvenient. Overall, I wouldn't buy a car here after watching what happened to my son.

This is for the service department, not parts. My car had a recall for the passenger airbag. I took it in 2/19/18. A day after I got it back, the temp dropped and I could get no heat in my car. My hours were 6-6 and couldn't take my car back in, it was very cold that week, around the 20's, and I was freezing!! My first day off, took car to regular mechanic, found out the cable behind the glove box, where the airbag was replaced, had the connection broken. That's why I was freezing and had no heat. There are many of these recalls, I hope this doesn't happen to lots of people. They need a checklist or a test before they give the car back. They sure dropped the ball on mine, or someone didn't want to own up to what they did!

I had a recall notice on my Subaru. They said it would be done around 5 p.m. I called to ask for a ride to pick up the car. They said they would call back but didn't. I called & was told service was gone for the day. I think the girl I spoke to was Katie. She found my keys & said I could still get my car. I had a friend take me down there. Talked to a couple different guys in the sales area. Both were nice & helpful. They apologized & got my car for me. The next day the service employee I had been working with, (Preston I think), called & explained that the shuttle driver went to someone's house thinking it was mine & had a confusing conversation with a lady he thought was me. Then he went back & said I didn't want to be picked up. So, they went home for the day. A phone call would have solved the confusion but I still feel pleased with the effot to make it up to me & how kind & apologetic all the staff was. Especially when They don't make anything on recall work. They offered me a $25 gas card for my trouble. Thanks guys!!

I generally don't write reviews this long but when someone goes above and beyond which in my book earns 5 stars I felt it was worth the detail.

Greeting
When we first arrived we were greeted by Cameron who inquired if we needed any help or were looking for something specific. I told him what my goals were and he had multiple options. Upon my second return when I decided to buy the car we were promptly greeted Skylar who was able to guide us to Cameron. Normally in situations like this once a Sales Professional finds out you are working with someone else they won't give you the time of day. This wasn't how Skylar operated, she was very helpful in getting us waters while we waited for Cameron to finish.

Buying Process
We worked with Cameron and he was very helpful. His 8+ years working in the car sales industry truly shined. We did have some misunderstandings in regards to some of the additional protection options. I spoke to the GM (Tyson) and the Sales Manager (Justin) who promptly got me taken care. They even sent Skylar to meet me to resign paperwork, she was very polite as before and great to work with. I can say that this whole experience showed me how much they truly care about their customers. They want to be as transparent as possible so if you have questions or need more time to look over options just ask. I look forward to working with them in the future. They were a true example of world class customer service.

Service Process
Kelby was very polite and went through the process of what was going to be performed and the time it would be completed. When I returned to pickup the vehicle I was able to work with the same person again who knew who I was and got me taken care of. They did an excellent job installing the accessories I purchased and look forward to using them in the future.

Rental Process
Melinda did a fantastic job at getting us setup with a rental while our new vehicle was getting some accessories installed. We hadn't set this up in advance and she easily accommodated us with a vehicle.

I've never actually left a review on anything befo...

I've never actually left a review on anything before but this seemed warranted. They are overpriced and incompetent. The sales force tries to rip you off. I went down to another Subaru in American Fork and bought the exact same car for $2500 less than Young would even offer. They literally called me while I was at the other dealership and once I mentioned the price they attempted to finally match it. I still turned them down and bought with much more ease from Doug Smith. So yeah I don't trust their sales force.

As for service, they are completely incompetent. I have taken my Subaru there twice and each time they have screwed it up. The first time it was to replace a linkage arm on the front right tire. After their "repair" I couldn't even make it past the first stop light before being forced to turn around and almost crash. I had the hold the wheel at a 45 degree angle to even go straight and while turning left the car would fight me. What a joke.

For some reason I still went back a year later to have my brakes replaced. I honestly didn't know this one could be screwed up. Somehow they installed it wrong and the brake on the front left was stuck on. The car wouldn't go above 60. Before I figured out what was going on, the drum had heated up so much you could feel heat radiating off the tire from a couple feet away. Luckily, it didn't cause and serious harm. Had to have the car towed back to the dealership.

I guess its my own fault. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...well lets just say there won't be a third.

I took my truck in for a front end alignment after I replaced the rack and Pinon and outer tie rods and they ripped the boots on the rack and Pinon and pinched the wire going to the driver side abs so now I have to take it to another shop to get the abs fixed and get new boots put on the rack and Pinon stay away from this place they don't know how to work on a vehicle properly and when you try and take to them about it they act like they don't know what you are talking about

Had a great experience at Young Subaru. Nathan Walker was my sales associate and he was wonderful. Very dedicated and sincere in his work. Nathan worked very hard, as he will do for you, to find the exact vehicle for you.
I also had the pleaseure of having Kelly Taylor work along with Nathan to get me on my way in my new 2017 Outback 2.5i Premium.
Be sure to see them and they treat you fairly in your search for your new Subaru.
I was first introduced to Young Subaru in July 2015 where I had my 2015 Outback serviced. Again I was very pleased with my service associate Nathan Kester. As an Arizona resident in Logan, I had the 2015 serviced again in July of 2016.
Very happy with the service department and Nathan. Nathan Kester is the reason that I came to Utah for my new Subaru rather than Arizona. My 2016 Forester. my other car is in my garage in Az but will make it up to Young when I am ready to trade in Two years.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Went there to look ...

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Went there to look at buying a car and I was harassed and so upset with the employees that I went some where else. My boyfriend car has been leaking for almost a year now and three times they have "fixed it," only for it to still be leaking. This last time was a week ago, after having the car for two weeks they told it was fixed and we get it home and see the check engine light on. Rev the engine and it's starts smoking. Open the hood and there is coolant everywhere. Immediately take the thing back. They have had it for a week and even though we have called them, we have not heard from them once since we dropped it off. They did give him a courtesy car to drive while it's being worked on, but it doesn't even begin to make up for all of the frustration we have experienced here. The woman who helps us is always very kind and tries to help as best she can. It's the place as a whole not her. Do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else.

Update, we just got the car back and they did not charge us for an aftermarket part, which is nice.

I was interesting in trading in my car and upgrading, but I had gone in there after work and it was getting a little late so they told me that they would call me the next day to discuss my trade in and financing. That was a week ago, and I still have yet to recieve my phone call. If it's too much work to call a potential customer back, then it's too much work for me to bother giving them my business.

We just bought an Outback from this dealer. We were very well taken care of by Hiram Donley... I d give him 5 stars... Good job!

We were less than pleased with the hard sell by the finance department as we finalized the deal... especially after we had indicated that we had no interest in the optional warranties and such. I understand that it s a fundamental part of a car dealership... but enough already This is the reason for the 4 star rating.
