The clerk in service, Markie, was amazing! She was courteous and polite, and apologized profusely for the insensitivity of the service guy, Ben. Ben is another story. He told Markie my car wasn't too far away for me - a bald-headed woman on oxygen - to walk.

Ben needs some customer service training.

I purchased my used 2020 Santa Fe from here March ...

I purchased my used 2020 Santa Fe from here March 6. I got it for a pretty good deal as it was a rental before hand. I walked in and walked out with a new car and thought everything was good. They handed me a key and left immediately (it was 10pm).
The next day I come to Young Subaru and drop off my title to my car and ask about a spare key. They told me they would let my car salesman know I came in so he could look for it. My car salesman never got back to me on his own I had reached out in email. I expressed that I did not get my key and that my car salesman had emailed me something along the lines of it appears there was only one key and I asked for some kind help or reimbursement of some sort because I felt led to believe there was a key. He wouldn t directly tell me he would/wouldn t help he actually just asked me who led you to believe there was a spare key?
I mean if I wasn t made aware that there was not a spare key...well then you all led me to believe there was a key? Cars come with two keys and I don t think the fact I bought a pre owned car is a reason to justify that I wasn t made aware of this upon purchase. That s common courtesy. I signed no checklists or anything stating otherwise?
Then when I came to speak to a manager about this he told me there was a policy about spare keys and that not all keys come with one. Well if there was a policy why was I not told this by my car salesman in email? Or by the gentleman I spoke with when i came in the first time asking for my key when I dropped off my title?
We argued for quite some time as I explained I felt as thought the workers were not doing their job right and were lazy. Why couldn t someone besides my car salesman look for the key? When the finance manager called me about my LES I asked him about the spare key and he said he would see what he could do. Upon arguing my case and expressing my distaste for how I was accommodated by the company the manager told me that he was going to help me but now he didn t want to because of my demeanor and how I spoke down on his workers calling them dishonest and lazy. Well I expressed that my words were from my perception of them from my experience. And explained how I played email tag, spoke over the phone with someone who offered assistance to help me with a spare key, and walked in and spoke with someone. All three people never told me about the policy they brushed me off and did nothing but give me empty words. After being extremely rude to me, he apologized to me and told me he would get me the spare key and cover the expenses. Although I found him extremely rude, he wasn t aware of the situation and after fully pleading my case I could tell he felt bad about misunderstand why I was so upset about the spare key. He made sure to get me the key immediately and spoke with my directly with all my further interactions. He even walked out and helped me with my license plate issue. I appreciate wholesome workers like him who stood by his coworkers when he felt they were wrongly accused but also for helping a customer when he realizes his company s mistakes.

Anyways it s been a month since I gave them my car title, and just received a text over the weekend asking for my car title!!! I explained I gave them my car title the day after purchasing my new car, and she says thank you. A few days later she texts me saying she found it? How unorganized is this place?

If you want a decent deal on a car, come here. But buy a brand new car because if you buy a used car apparently your business isn t worth much to them after you walk out the door...

The dealership has, by far, the greatest selection of Subarus of all dealerships in SLC, Utah, Davis, or Weber County. Friendly crew, no pressure, where you'll definitely feel welcome.

I purchased my last car nine years ago and had a very negative experience. I did not think I would ever purchase another car from a dealer. I took a chance on Young Subaru with this car buying experience. The completely surpassed my expectations. From the front desk to the finance manager - at the very beginning, everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. I am from Logan, Utah and have referred several friends and family to Ogden Subaru. They are worth the drive. Cheers!

Lance McNamara is the reason we have leased 2 Subarus from Young Subaru. He listens to what you are looking for, spends time showing you different options, and then works with the finance department the best he can to help you out. At no point whatsoever have we felt pressured from Lance or talked into something more expensive than we are looking for. Lance's customer service combined with Young Subarus great maintenance department makes this place extremely easy to work with. We will definitely be back to Young Subaru to work with Lance on our next Subaru!

What an incredible experience. We didn t really have it narrowed down to what we wanted and Our Sales person Garrett explained everything very simply and helped us get into the car if our dreams! There was never any sales pressure applied. We could not be happier with young Subaru!

Awesome experience at Young Subaru!! We worked with Todd who was proffesional and honest with us the entire time and was also able to answer every question we had about our Subaru Crosstrek! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a vehicle.

Update 2020:
We ended up selling our Subaru to my sister. We were able to refer her to Todd when she needed help getting some parts, Todd was happy to help her and she was thrilled. Thanks again!

Best experience I've had at a dealership hands down. Jonah was professional, knowledgeable, and genuine. Jeremy in finance was very polite and explained everything clearly. I didn't feel pressured at any point during my time there. I'd recommend them to anyone, and I'll definitely be back when I need another car.

The sales teams is great but that's where it stops. So far their service department has been horrible to work with. One car had a recall that needed to be done before we could get the car and it took weeks. Then they messed up when putting it back together. When we got it back there was something wrong with the air bag and the steering wheel was crooked. So we send it back in and they let it sit past the day they were scheduled to fix it. Once that was FINALLY fixed we had to send our other car into them so they could finally clean it over a month from when I got it (wasn't cleaned when I bought it) and get an oil change. Oil change seems to be fine (surprisingly) but when they cleaned the car they left the floor mats barely cleaned, covered in dog hair (from who ever drive the car before me), and wet, in the trunk. Which they didn't clean.

Really great sales team. Colton helped me find the car I needed and the whole team did everything they could to make the purchase work for me. I will be going back again next time I'm looking to get a new car for sure.

Young Subaru sucks. I bought a Ford in the middle of May and still have not received it. It s been in the shop three times for the same fix and still nothing. I have received multiple rentals which was nice. After my first rental I asked if I could have my old car back and they told me that it was sold in auction. By that time I moved to St. George for work purposes . I just saw my car today in Saint George with a young Subaru license plate in dealer ship plate.... besides that I was trying to get out of the truck because I did not want it and Young is your route told me the only way I can get out of the truck if I buy another car which I would have to pay additional price on the vehicle and sales tax. The head manager of Jung s your route told me if I took off my negative feedback off of all websites that I posted it on and he would cut me a break and give me $1000 off another vehicle I ended up not doing that but still took off my bad view. this is my first time buying a car from a dealership and I will never do it again. I will never ever go to Youngs Subaru again and I wish and hope no one will have to go to the experience I ve been going through for the past five months. I am more than upset that I still haven t got my truck or have been able to get my old car back which they said they sold but they had it still when I asked. Thank you young Subaru for the most S***est Car buying experience in the world I m looking forward to never ever doing business with you again

BUYER BEWARE . . .The worst dealership I have ever...

BUYER BEWARE . . .The worst dealership I have ever dealt with--from start to finish. I bought a used Outback there and when I questioned the coolant odor I smelled after the test drive, I was told by the sales manager and service manager this was due to recent services performed on the vehicle. Again, when I picked up the car I was assured that everything had been gone over again and checked out OK. Two weeks later, the radiator hose blew off, and the entire radiator had to be replaced due to a cracked neck. Coincidence? Wow, everyone then acted as if they did not know me and, of course I received NO satisfaction and paid $400.00 for the repair. Now I am in the process of replacing the turbo and possibly the engine--- $3,000-$7,000. This issue has been well documented as a major problem with Subaru. turbos Of course, I was told differently when I asked about any turbo issues with turbos at the time of the sale.

Young Subaru customer service never was there after the sale and it is obvious that profit is their only motivator, not a satisfied customer. Be very careful, do your own research before buying and do not trust what you are told.

Me and my wife had a problem about a year ago with being able to prove income. We had everything, we where told everything was okay and had the car for a month.
Flash forward to today and I call with money down a trade and they ask if its for me or my wife. I asked why it mattered. The agent did not have a answer for me. I truly feel it is not okay to treat a customer or assume things with a potential life long customer.

Never take your car here to be serviced. They are terrible and overpriced. Quoted me $600 for the job but charged me $750! Said, sorry, that s what it comes to. Had a miscellaneous charge of $36 for shop rags and other supplies .

Had to pay the bill to get my car. Felt like I was being held hostage. I needed my car back so HAD to pay the bill.

Mario Garcia helped me and at no point did I feel disrespected, as I did at the other dealership. I'm quirky and have lots of questions and requests and he answered everything. I was set to buy a used car and he showed me how to pay less for a new one with my Costco discount, which I ended up buying.

I'd like to give Young Subaru four or five stars but I can't due to their service department. My buying experience was smooth but I think that was mostly due to the fact that I knew what I wanted...there wasn't a lot of "selling" involved. When I purchased my car the warranty included three free oil changes. I've gone in twice to have the oil changed and each time give me a checklist indicating that they topped off all the fluids and checked the tires, etc. After both visits I checked the fluids and tire pressure after I got home and realized that none of the fluids were checked nor topped off and neither were the tires. It's disappointing that the dealership doesn't do what they claim. I half expect it from an express lube facility but not the dealership.

One word amazing. Tanner Yost is the best sells man you can find. Honest, caring and willing to answer any question you may have. Gives you 100% attention and cares to your needs. His manager great as well, takes care of his customers. I had a very enjoyable experience, my car had a bad battery which they offered to fix with no charge. I would definitely recommend to anyone, these guys are honest and they definitely make you feel comfortable.

I went to Young Subaru after a really bad experience at the dealer in American Fork. Nathan Walker came highly recommended and I now know why. He is the most down to earth and honest salesman I've dealt with in a long time. I went in there with the understanding that Nathan had a job to do and was not disappointed with the deal we made. He is genuinely one of the nicest guys I have met in the business. Second, I went to Young with a specific car in mind, only to find that it had been sold the night before. Nathan did not even attempt to put me into something I didn't want that was readily available on the lot. He listened and assisted me in ordering the exact vehicle I wanted. There simply isn't enough time to explain how well I was received and treated during the entire process. I have referred family and anyone else who will listen to Nathan and Young Subaru. They are that good and if you are not local to the Ogden area, it is worth your time to drive up there.

Everyone is very friendly and service is generally quick. The reason for the lower score is because I have had work done and have had to come back twice to get the issue fixed. Hopefully it is fixed this time.
Update... taking my car back for a third time.... didn t even make it home before the sensor light that they were meant to fix turned on again...

I went in to look at some Outbacks and had a great car shopping experience. Derek is a great salesperson to work with, he knows his stuff about Subarus. I also never felt pressured by the salesperson to buy in anyway, Derek was patient and personable throughout the process and so was any of the other staff I worked with as well. It definitely makes the experience better when you don't feel awkward during your test drives and stuff. Great car shopping experience, 10/10 would recommend.

Went in on March 1st with a complicated situation of being way underwater on my old car, wanting a lease, and not knowing exactly what car I wanted. Seth S. was the one that helped me and he kicked a#*! He actually listened to my needs, asked the right questions, was friendly, and found exactly the car that worked for me. Though the process went a little longer (because we had to figure out the right car) Seth was patient and really chilled out. We were even going pretty late into the night after closing and not once did I feel pressured or hurried. Seth, the receptionist, and the sales manager that helped me (I don't recall their names) were all friendly, helpful, and just made the whole process as easy as it could be. Thanks to these three I can definitely recommend this dealership with no complaint. I'll definitely be back and I'll definitely be recommending my friends and family.

The way he would give me a tour of the Subaru made me feel like he knew my body better than I knew anything. Finance is the only reason you get a star! I'm less than impressed and beyond baffled with the complete lack of communication and customer care from sales. Sales has frustrated me beyond tears and anger. I attempted to purchase a 2019 Forester mid November, the wrong one was brought in which then lead to having to reorder the same one we had provided them the VIN for and ordering it the beginning of December. All of my paper work and emails directly from Subaru say delivery date of 12/27. Imagine my shock when sales leaves me a less than stellar voicemail stating they might have my car by the end of the year. I have lost all trust for this location aside from the finance department who are the only ones thus far still to show me anyone at this site gives a damn about a loyal customer whose latest purchase would make the 7th vehicle there family has purchased here. The last 6 weeks have been a nightmare of a roller coaster I just want my car already. I'm done with and would NEVER recommend the sales team here to anyone after being made to feel like I'm a joke. Well guess what joke is over I really regret coming to Young to purchase my 2nd vehicle. Finance are fantastic! Sales I"m done with you your department lost all sense of common courtesy and customer service the day Lee Jordan left. P.S. I just wish I had my car already so I wouldn't have to call consistently for an update and deal with lies anymore. I just want my car

He took the time to make sure we were happy with our selection and after many many test drives, and many days, he was in still in great spirits to help with financing! Sitting here for 2 1/2 hours and counting on a simple oil change service. So irritating. The waiting room was almost empty when I arrived. Just a ridiculous amount of time. Makes me regret buying their extended service plan. Jiffy Lube would have had me out of here 2 hours ago.

Too much self service. My husband thinks I went to look but I went to buy. We looked at almost every new vehicle and were not once approached by a salesman that were hanging out off to the side; helping no one. They finally spotted us when we went to leave but by that time my husband was over it and in his words "if they don't want my money it can go to someone else" I appreciate them not being agressive but their approach was disheartening...

Update... Was contacted by the dealership later with apologies then told if I had appointment wouldn't have had this problem went to Miller in Sandy. Left with a great deal and had no appointment. Just saying...

Be super careful that Young Subaru doesn't get your phone number. I get probably 4 or 5 calls a day from them and most are from different numbers. I have blocked so many numbers but they just keep coming through. I have given my info to a number of dealers and have received a few calls here and there but Young Subaru is way too persistent.

I'm a first time car seeker, I called Young Subaru and had the most enlightening experience, with the receptionist Edith. She was able to answer all my questions, and if she didn't know she went to find out. I enjoyed this experience and I felt that she took a lot of pressure off my shoulders when it came to buying a car.

We just bought a used Honda Pilot here yesterday. If I could separate the ratings, I would give Hiram our salesman a 7 and the finance department a 3, so here we are at 5 stars!

We called 5 minutes ahead and inquired if the car was still there. When we showed up, Hiram had it pulled up to the front and ready to view. He was pleasant to work with and incredibly helpful. We left and test drive a few other cars and ultimately came back to Young Subaru a few hours later to purchase the Pilot. Once again, Hiram was very helpful in this process.

The financing office was a different experience all together. We initially declined 4 different upgrades in warranty and service. He wasn t taking no for an answer and we ended up purchasing 3 of them. We were pushed to buy coverages that we didn t want by someone who wasn t that friendly. We negotiated for a price with Hiram that we were happy with. In the end, our final purchase price ended up being $7000 higher than the sale price after financing, taxes and fees.

Overall, we love the vehicle and will give Hiram our business 8 days a week, just hopefully we don t have to deal with Young Subaru s finance department again.

Extremely disappointed in this dealer and had a horrible experience. In my opinion they lack integrity and failed to honor their offer. We drove a great distance for a specific deal offered on a specific car (they promised to beat another dealer by $750, so we were up for the drive). We were told two such cars were to be delivered in a few weeks, that the deal was for one such car, and we just needed to sign the deal. We told our sales person we were coming for that specific car, and she informed us she would let the manager know we were in route, repeatedly assuring us they would honor their offer for that specific car. Once we got there, we advised the manager we wanted to get the deal done, and we then waited for nearly an hour only to have that manager appear and tell us the car had been sold (suggesting both cars, which had not been delivered, were actually sold), and even though the same car would be delivered a month later they would no longer sell that car at that price. Rather than apologizing to us for not having the vehicle and price represented to us not one hour before we got there, or honoring their same offer for the next vehicle to be delivered, the manager instead actually blamed us for not buying the car days earlier (at a higher price and under what I felt were high pressure sales tactics). The manger proceeded to then try and up-sell more expensive options to us for the specific colors we requested. When we refused other options, we were actually told to leave and the manager said "we don't want your business." We did leave and bought a car at a different Subaru dealer, Doug Smith Subaru, where we had a great experience. I have never had such an unpleasant experience at any dealer (from management, no less) and would recommend avoiding this dealer.

UPDATE TO "RESPONSE FROM OWNER":
I called Nate Gailey based on his suggestion in his response. In case it's not clear, this was NOT a situation where the dealer "checked to see that the car was not sold, but didn t go out and physically touch the car" as Nate says in his response. These 2 cars the manager represented were available had not even been delivered yet, and when we arrived specifically for this car we were told they both somehow weren't available. Young Subaru failed to honor the deal. When I made this clear to Nate, he said he would have someone call me. That was nearly three weeks ago, and I've had zero contact. Again, Young Subaru has failed to honor its promises.

Rick Gerber was extremely ignorant unprofessional!! Told me that I should find a different dealership to take my car into for repairs from now on. I bought my car here! This subaru is the worst subaru when it comes to customer service and making their customers happy. I would strongly recommend no one go to this subaru!!!!
